Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Sabella now had Donahue in her sights and he was hot on her brother's tail. She threw herself forward, paws pounding on the earth and finally she made her desperate leap, landing squarely on Donahue's shoulders and rolling him onto his side. The she wolf recovered from her roll and now stood over Donahue with a snarl.

Dreamy Donhue. That's what her and Thea and the rest of the shewolves in Ash's pack called him. He really was a thing of beauty. Golden skin and raven hair... Thea was an idiot for whatever she'd done to piss him off. He was also one of the greatest hunters in the pack. A formidable opponent that her idiot brother had chosen.

"That sounds like a wonderful idea. We have not had a good celebration in so long." she wrapped the sheets around her as she sat up. Looking to Ash with a bright smile. "The pups are sure to love it greatly."

Fredric gulped as he saw Apollo in front him, it even made his horse nervous. 'Damn it..' He muttered knowing it would be hard to back up his cart in the other direction and impossible to out run Apollo. "It has..." He replied cautiously. "Last I recall you were up in the north, what brings you here?" He asked trying to seem casual and not as nervous as he really was.

"You are quite the little joker aren't you?" He playfully bumped against her. "I don't remember you complaining when using me as your own personal pillow." He laughed, nuzzling his snout against her leg. As she wrapped on the old wooden door he followed her. Putting on his best dumb mutt guise and pawing at the door with her. Whining loudly for added effect.

Donahue frowned hearing the other wolves getting dangerously close. No he wasn't done, not yet! He leaped forward opening his mouth to bite Valac, but at the same time he felt paws landing on his shoulders and he was knocked off balance rolling to the ground with a thud. In his mouth a small blood covered fury thing, beside him a howling Valac who was on the ground whimpering. "My tail!!" He howled as proudly Donahue looked up at Sabella, pushed her off his chest and spat out a fourth of Valac's tail.

"If you focus on your more redeeming qualities, though there are few, the smell isn't so hard to over look."

Fae laughed and again scratched behind his ears. He was really putting on a show now. This had her giggling as he whined and pawed, a sweet old mutt hopelessly devoted to the sick man and the supernatural girl.

"Prosperity."

Apollo grinned and snorted at the pitiful little witch.

"There's food here, a home. A good place to raise a family," Apollo's grin then turned into a slow snarl, his eyes narrowing dangerously,"and Amber and I could lose it all because you decided to go selling magic doodads to our neighbouring enemies. That was a particularly stupid idea on your part , I'm afraid."

Fredric frowned hearing Apollo and Amber had pups, but he just glared back at Apollo offended. "Sorry but last time I checked you and I didn't exactly have a contract determining who did what. But hey, I favor no team more than the other, so if you want some you can buy as many any as you like." He said knowing jingling two crystals infront of Apollo.

"Thaaaaanks sweetie. Good to know I at least have some redeeming qualities." He teased back, bumping against her leg again. "Hmm. Let's see if this gets their attention. We can't be standing out here forever." he took in a deep breath and let out a few deep, guttural barks.

Sabella snarled, shocked that Donahue had gone so far as to maim her brother. She was pissed... Right pissed but not quite enough that she would attack another pack member especially Donahue with his rippling muscles and impressive shoulders...

Sabella mentally smacked herself and bore her teeth at Donahue.

"Enough!" She snarled,"that is quite enough from the both of you!"

Malcolm was momentarily distracted from his grandchildren as a few thunderous knocks from the front door, followed by a few resounding barks. He frowned and hurried to the door, yanking it open and then staring down, puzzled, at the girl in front of him, her dog and... His son?

"Benjamin?" He gawked and then again looked to the girl.

"How in the world... Who are you? What are you doing with my son and why is he, well, atop your dog?"

"Well, you see sir, all this time Ben has been raising me, I'm Fae, out in the woods. I don't suppose he's ever mentioned me to you. But we could really use some help. He's sick. Really sick."

"Bella! Bella, get down here! It's Ben!"

"Tomorrow then," he said with a smile. "Tomorrow at twilight, we shall have our selves a feast." He said picking up his clothes and handing Artemis her's.

"But-.....fine." Donahue grunted glaring at Valac knowing he couldn't disobey his alpha's daughter.

Valac on the other hand was squirming around whimpering in pain, turning into his human from just so the wound was smaller.

"Whimp." Don grumbled as he too shifted into human form a small grin on his face satisfied with his work on Valac's tail.

Sabella shifted as well, glowering at all three of them Donahue, Thea and Valac. She looked powerful, in her element, in command. Her hair, shorn short before she had gone to bed, tickled her jawline, the cut was sharp and her ashen blonde strands were straight as a taut rope. Her silver eyes burned with a kind of anger and annoyance that only she could pull off.

"What is the meaning of all this? I'll report this all the Vivian immediately if someone doesn't talk."

"Maybe, but I'm not even sure I can do magic like grandma grandpa yet. Or even Jacques." he laughed softly as she snatched the wand from him.

His attention turned to the door when there was a knock and....barking?

"Who is it grandpa?" he tried looking over his shoulder. Catching a glimpse of golden hair. "Ellie. I think it's that one girl you know?"

Belladonna glanced around when she heard her name. "We will take good care of Jaques I promise." She said to Mary and her son then made her way down stairs. "Malcolm? What is it?" She asked then spotted it she recognized her son immediately. "Ben? What in the blazes are you doing here-" it was then she saw how sick he was. "Let's get him to the healing pools quickly." She said moving to him without hesitation. "Who are you?" She asked pulling her black sheep of a son off the dog.

"Valac was trying to stake his claim on Thea." Donahue growled at Valac as the poor pup tried standing to defend himself, but failed so he just stayed on the ground. "I didn't know you imprinted on her, besides..." He whimpered rolling over to look up at the other three wolves. "Thea was the one who first said she liked me, and she kissed me first, so obviously being your mate-to-be isn't satisfying her." He said matter of factly. "You got me in this mess." He said still in pain and mad at Thea. "At first I didn't mean those things I said, but now I'm thinking I actually do." He grumbled looking away from the two wolves and to Sabella with a look that asked her to help him.

"I cannot wait my dearest." She stood and kissed his cheek. Taking her clothes from him and slipping into them. She felt so spry for once in a long while. "I shall go and tell the pack to begin preparing."

After Ben was removed from his back Marius let out a relieved sigh and plopped his butt down next to Fae. Nuzzling his snout against her side gently. As much as he wanted to follow he wasn't going to waltz into the coven unwelcome. So he chose to cozy up to Fae instead, play the part of the loyal dog. Not like that was far off from how he was anyway when it came to her and Ben.

Apollo grinned and walked around the cart, clapping the witchling on his back, gripping his shoulder painfully hard.

"Come on, witchling. I'll take you to my pack, we'll decide just how potent your magic is."

Apollo shifted, a wolffish grin still pulling his lips back as he padded in front of the cart. He wasn't asking and he wasn't unknowing as he knew his pack wouldn't take kindly the newcomer once they found out what he was swindling and that it was to their rivals.

Thea's cheeks flamed. Embarrassed and angry she went to Valac and shoved him down, hard.

"You little brat! You've ruined everything! I was willing to give you a chance, after all these years give you a chance! Everybody was right about you, Valac! You're no alpha and you're no man! Sabella is ten times the man you are!"

Theodosia hissed through her teeth and shoved him again, Sabella didn't stop her. Valac was stupid, Thea too but she would let them sort it out at least they wouldn't kill eachother.

"Good thank you." Ash said grinning as giving her rumb a smack as she walked past him. Then he thought of Vivian he should probably tell her, and the more he thought about it the more he felt bad about leaving her crying with their childern in the den.

Fredric winced in pain as Apollo's hand made painful contact with his pain. Ow! God Damn! He's stronger than I remember! He thought to himself pretending that it didn't hurt. "That sounds lovely, but my own family is waiting for me." He said with a fake smile as if to be polite. "I've already been gone too long, after all you can't keep the wife waiting. You should know that." He said even though he knew wolves didn't marry and that Apollo was the only consenting member of his and Ambers union. "Well it was nice to see you again." He said with a wave, awkwardly backing his cart up from the large werewolf to get away.

"Thea I'm sorry!" Valac cried out as she shoved him back down onto his wounded tail bone. "Please!" He whimpered trying to stand back up. "I like you I do, it's just-" he looked back at a very defensive Donahue. "You lied to me! You made it seem like you had no partner, then when you confessed it made it seem like everything was falling into place. Like we could have been together. I should have known it was too good to be true!" He yelled as he limped away from everyone, now just as hurt and embarrassed as Thea the only difference was when this was all over, only Thea would have people who still trusted her.
