Fantasy Descendants of the Curse

Thea balled her fists and inhaled shakily, her whole body hot with embarrassment and anger. He had played her heart strings like a violin! How could he? Valac had been so sweet, so perfect... Why had he just run off and said what he had? He had lied to her. Had he just wanted her body? Wanted to bed her and leave?

She turned to Donahue and then went to him, standing close enough that she had to tip her head up to see him.

" I'm sorry Don... I was just being stupid, it was just a school girl crush but, obviously he doesn't feel the same way. He's a coward and a pup, nothing more."

She wrapped her arms around his waist and hugged him, burying her face into his chest. She really just needed to be held right now.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

Fae nodded, determined now. She would help Ben and find out what was wrong with her. Maybe nothing really was wrong, maybe she was just changed. Changed into something stronger, stranger.

Mary didn't what to believe this, she came her in hopes that she could have her son back not leave him here. Not only that but Gaston's parents were very busy she knew for a fact they wouldn't be able to monitor him like Gaston was saying they would. But hearing her childern downstairs she finally sighed. "Fine." She whimpered defeated. "But I want to see how he feels about it."

"Good, let's get going. Ben is looking worse by the minute, I know he's not quite accepted in the Coven but Belladonna and Malcom wouldn't let another child of theirs die." Marius picked Ben up under his shoulder and began leading him out the door. "And maybe you can work your magic on them too. You're friends with their granddaughter."

"Good idea~" Ash smirked takining her hand and leading her away. Out of the den and to their spot away from the den.

(Time skip?)

"He's nothing? I'll have no part of it?" He repeated her words looking down at her with a look of sad disappointment. "If you think you can just throw away someone and their feelings for you, just because you have a 'school girl crush' on some wolf pup. Then you are no better than that mutt." He said sounding broken as he removed her arms from him. "That aparrent plan between your father and I was me asking for your fathers blessing. But I'm glad to know this is how you truly feel." He said emotionlessly as he turned away from her. "To think I actually loved you." He shook his head and left the room not wanting to let her see the tears that were forming in his eyes.

"Im glad you like it." Belladonna smiled ruffling her grandchilderns hair then noticed the sound of crying. "I'll be back." She said softly then stood up heading upstairs. To see what was the matter. "Ew toffee..." Elizabeth muttered as her little wand spewed out a piece of toffee. She tried making another piece coming but then remembered she needed to eat it. "Quick grandpa eat this." She said tossing it to Malcolm then looked to Jamison and chuckled seeing he didn't really like the wand so she quickly grabbed it and apperated a piece of chocolate and ate it happily. "Maybe we can ask you for a more mature one." She grinned.

"Don! Don! Please!"

She grabbed his hand and pulled him back to her, her heart aching as she remembered Valac doing the same to her, not wanting her to go, telling her what was in his heart... But he had lied to her, something Don hadn't done. All he had done was love her and she was too blind to see.

"Don please, I'll make it up to you. I promise. I'm a stupid, stupid pup and you are already a warrior and a hunter and well on your way to the top. Please. I'm just a stupid pup. There is nothing there for me, not like there is with you."

She would kill Valac the next time she saw him.

"I'll grab travelling clothes!"

Fae shot up from the bed and hurried across the room to the wardrobe, dragging out Ben's and Marius's travelling cloaks, pants, shirts and shoes. All were warm as the cool rain still drizzled down the window panes.

"Get dressed, get Ben dressed and I'll be down in a minute."

Fae rushed upstairs and into her room.

Gaston nodded.

"Whatever you'd like Mary. Anything to make the two of you feel better about it. We can visit as often as you'd like."

He kissed the top of his wife's head and smoothed her hair back, opening the door quietly and creeping back into the room where his sleeping son lay.

"We'll just wait here okay? I don't think I could get him dressed. He's heavy enough like this." He groaned slightly under Ben's weight. "His parents might want him dressed in less anyway."

Ash lay panting and feeling quite satisfied holding Artemis. At first he felt guilty but reminded himself that his family seemed to hate him no matter what he did so he decided to enjoy himself with his mate. "Good god I missed this." He huffed with a breathless smile then gently kissed Artemis's forehead as he stretched out.

Donahue looked down at their hands using this time to try hiding any emotions his face was showing and he looked back at her. "How can I trust you any more? Apologizes and calling yourself names will not help fix what you have, not only that but you now reek of his scent and-" he grabbed her chin pulling her face just inches from his and he inhaled. Almost immediately a look of horror and disgust appeared on his face as he released her and stepped back. That was it, his breaking point, she wasn't even with that pup but ten minutes and that quickly she had cast him aside, and let him put his filthy lips on hers. Before Donahue ever even got the chance to. "How could you...?" He was heart broken, his eyes like that of a beaten puppy, and it felt like he had been punched in the gut. Trembling with furious betrayal he storm out refusing to speak to her for fear of the fowl things that might come from his mouth he transformed into his wolf form and bolted into the woods indesperate need to slaughter something. Preferably that mutt who had kissed his Thea.

"It feels like it's been an eternity my love." Artemis breathed heavily as she wrapped an arm around him. She knew vivian would be furious with them but it was more than worth it.

Wiping away her tears she stepped into the room trying hard to collect herself as she made her way over to their son. "Everything alright?" A soft voice said and it made Mary jump. "Oh... Hello Belladonna." Mary said relaxing a bit as the coven leader walked over to her son expecting an answer.

Ash grinned filled with pleasure then he paused and holding onto Artemis as he sat up. "Why do you stay with me?" He asked again, it was something he could never seem to figure out. The pups were now old enough they no longer needed their mother, she was disliked by his other childern, and she was free to leave whenever she wanted, yet she stayed with him. He would forever be glad for it, but that and where the bloodthirsty shewolf she had been went were questions he always asked himself.

"Oh for christ's sake!"

Thea growled, desperately trying to call Donahue back.

"Don! Don!" It was no use the young wolf was on a war path and she knew exactly where to.

"Sabella!"

She howled and went to her friend's den where the she wolf had been sleeping, sprawled in all directions across her straw mattress, laden with furs.

"What? What is it?"

Sabella growled and batted her away lazily.

"Donahue's off to kill your brother! Serves him right though! He's a complete ass and I want nothing more to do with him!"

Thea threw her hands up in the air and swatted at Sabella.

"Get up! Sabella! He's literally off to slaughter your stupid, mutt, mongrel, son of a bi-"

"Alright! Alright! What'd he do this time?!"

Sabella grumbled as she stumbled out of bed, proudly naked before then tugging on a pair of rolled up trousers and a blouse.

"Might as well go ask him yourself! That is if Don hasn't ripped him to shreds already!"

With that Sabella hurried from the den, shifting into her lithe silvery she wolf, Theodosia hot on her heels. She transformed into a petite little auburn wolf, her hair on her face streaked with white. The two shewolves pushed through the thick brush and followed the strong scent of the other two wolves.

"Because I've grown to truly love you Ash. What other reason do I need?" She smiled sweetly. "The packs would have never survived either. That moon years ago killed many of our own. Everything I've done is all for you my dearest."

((Yes please))

Apollo, on the other hand, was doing some stalking of his own. He now followed Fredric at a near distance. That little rat wasn't going anywhere until he answered a few questions that Apollo had, regarding the crystals he had sold, perhaps purchase some himself and probably gloat about the success of his pack and Amber and his children.

Apollo weaved through the towering tree trunks and finally stepped out in front of Fredric's cart, halting it with his hand.

"Witchling... It's been a long time hasn't it?"

"Will you be alright on your own sweetie. I'm not sure if they'll let me inside like this. They may not be fans of dogs anymore." He looked up at her. His back was beginning to ache with Ben draped over it. "Although you can always make something up to get them to let me in." He laughed softly.

As Valac ran he started to panic. "Sh*t, sh*t, Sh*t!" He panted the dark wolf running through the woods fearful of the wrath that would soon met him. "VALAC!" Very soon.

That ba$tard! Donahue growled to himself following Valac's scent easily. He would murder that pup when he got him. What was so special about him that could make Thea jump for him so suddenly?! He was a weak little pup, how did she not see it earlier. Too angry to think any more he howled and rushed forward closing in on Valac with frightening speed. Infact he was angry at everyone. Valac, and Thea the most, but he was also mad at the wolves he could hear chasing him because he knew they would try to stop him.

Ash nodded frowning at the memory of the super blood moon. "I'm glad." He said with a content sigh then straightened up and stood. "We should have a celebration tonight. Our pack is back on its way up and we now have plenty of food. Also with the pups now old enough to enjoy it I think now would be a great time." He said looking down to Artemis for her opinion.

"Not sure they'll let you in anywho. No one likes the smell of wet dog, Marius. Witch or not."

Fae smiled gently and giggled, ruffling his mop of hair and then giving him a chaste smooch on the cheek.

"Although I've become accustomed to it... I don't know how Ben sleeps with you though."

The small blonde girl grinned as she teased him and then drew her cloak tightly around her before heading up the steps of the coven house and pounding firmly on the heavy oaken door.
