To everyone,


Every faction member gets all details. So, they will know that they're fighting for a Gifted that can awaken more Gifted. There will be a new portals just outside of Brinkhaven that lead to various places on the Faction side (behind the front lines obviously, somewhere safe from enemy fire and such). New recruits may choose to either go there directly, or train first and then be sent there. Newly recruited people will /not/ be on the front lines (unless, you realllllly want your character to be). Your character will probably be lent weapons and armor of their choosing. No aether or antinite stuff unless it's aether clothes.


You may choose when this event occurs for your character, whether it be right now or after you've completed what you're currently doing (requests and such).

Yeah, the interaction with Gwen is very hard. Which is why I maneuvered my character there and took away the cat. I believe in the last interaction, Gwen asked Sapphire a question, so maybe you could reply to that? Or simply leave and perhaps have your character follow mine? Or wander around and bump into someone else. Up to you. No one has really been using the open list, but it's there for people to use if someone's looking to interact with other people.
 
Yup, working on collab post w/Aero to catch up to plot post. Will post Mayu portion in tandem with collab post. Sorry for all the trouble.

Well, it looks like I owe you guys quite the explanation.


So the DAY AFTER the roleplay started, my grandma asked my brothers and I to help her move a bunch of stuff out of storage. This would continue for a week, and I even had to work on my birthday. (17 years old wut wuuuuuut)


During and for at least a good few days after that, I was physically exhausted and mentally unbraced for reading the walls upon walls of text involved in returning to the roleplay.


I haven't forgotten you guys, and I'm not dead. But as far as my life goes, this roleplay could NOT have started at a worse time. It's not your fault in the slightest, it's just the way the chips fell. I want to get back into this roleplay, but it could take a while. When I do, I'll probably be retiring Nathan for a while, and I'd definitely be applying with Kayne.


So yeah, the timing was... unfortunate. I probably won't be joining within the coming weeks, because next week is Tech Week for the play I'm in, and if any of you have been in theatre, you know what I'm talking about. I will be rehearsing like there's no tomorrow, making sure everything is ready for the show to open. It's gonna be a crazy time all around, but I just thought I'd let you guys know that I haven't forgotten.
 
I am very interested in joining this... but must my character be fully human? I was thinking *probably* but... With hiw they would act and the backstory, i figured they'd be partially demonic. Maybe the awakened power could have caused her to be demonic? I dunno.

Your person's Gift can be to be a non-human, if that's what you're looking for. For example, we currently have a slime and a skeleton character.
 
@IceSolstice it is not.. see, her Backstory and Gift kind of make sense to have her be partially demonic. Her gift is Enhanced metabolism/Asimilation: By eating chunks of her adversaries she is able to mend her wounds and gain unholly strenght who adds to her already noticeable speed, sometimes asimilating qualities of her food for a limited time, proportional to the ammount of meat consumed, wether be something as simple as increasing the time she can hold her breath, enhance her senses, harden her skin or gain resistence to things like fire... however, this is not frequent, the chance increasing by consuming more. So i figured... make her somewhat demonic. It works if she is still 100% Human, but I just want to make sure I dont butcher my character post.

Your Gift idea and such is fine. But unfortunately, I don't believe there's a way to may her half-demonic. :/
 
Mh... Alright. Even like 1/16 demonic is fine. But im going full human until further notice, so, posting soon (Hopefully)
 
@arialc Currently, most new Gifted have applied to their respective factions (every character gets in if you want them to), received their complimentary Z-Watch and other faction gear (listed under the Faction tab in the Overview section/tab thing), and received the message on their Z-Watch that there is a (very important) Gifted in need that needs to be saved/protected from the evil ETG (see the first plot post, Chapter 1: The Awakened, for more details and information). Most people are currently finishing up their interactions and responding to the call.


Someone please correct me if I am wrong/missing anything.

Please post in the OOC tab for things like this. Basically, all you really need to know is the 2nd post of the 1st page and the plot post on page 10. People have been doing their own things (requests, dungeons, etc), but that isn't relevant to the RP as a whole. I'll also put you on the open list though.


Summary of events is basically: Recruitment assembly -> People going to the recruitment building to apply (and getting accepted) -> People maybe going on requests -> Plot post

The faction members are heading to the crystal spire, which has become a battlefield between the Factions and the ETG. The ETG got to it first, so they currently are in control of the crystal and various barriers have been put up around it.
