Demonic Needs [Inactive]

"I haven't guarded a castle in nigh eight hundred years, but I have been seeking a new home, if there are any nearby castles that I could claim?" She asked hopefully. She still hadn't quite grasped the weight of what TenZen was saying, humans had always been nice to her. "Iron . . ." She said softly, thoughtfully, to herself "Well, I suppose that explains this." she fingered the hole in her wing careful not to irritate it. "Thank you for helping me, but I should really continue my search." She started to get up.

TenZen

"If your looking for castles your in the wrong region of the world." TenZen said. "And if you go out the demon hunters will be after you. At least wait until the hounds I sent out come back." He urged.

Jackl

"Touchy aren't we?" Jackl asked. "Well I'm Jackl. Learn it well, cause this is my place." He crossed his arms over his chest. Suddenly the snake was back, he let it in and it slithered over and hissed at the kitsune.

"Alright then, I will wait until your hounds return. I shall sleep." She announced. She in a comfortable position, and drifted of, shifting to stone as she did so.

Ruby

Ruby snorted, and looked away from Jackl. She made a soft growling sound, and her tail scooted across the table. "Wait, TenZen isn't coming as soon as possable?" She asked Starr.

TenZen

"Good. They should be back by nightfall." TenZen said slipping into a light slumber himself.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile one hound got off track there was something in a tree. It crawled deep gouges in the tree, and frothed at the mouth. Barking madly. The other hounds kept going on into the forest towards their objective.
Jackl
Jackl watched as the snake flicked it's tongue and coiled up near the fox demon. Jackl sighed. "I'm going to nap. Keep an eye on her for me." And with out waiting for an answer he crept back to his couch. Crawling up he fell asleep.
Mitch
Mitch growled, "Leave me alone!" He shouted. He wondered why they were attacking him. 'I'm probably in their taratorry.' He thought. He climbed further up, and hid.
The devil dog spoke in a garbled tongue that could hardly be called a language. The only word that could be understood was 'sent'. But when shots ran out it forgot Mitch and raced off towards the sound.
Mitch
Mitch looked at the ground to make sure it was gone, and quickly ran to Jackl's house. He shot in, and ran upstairs, heading under a bed.
Ruby
Ruby mumbled to her self, and fell asleep.
Spencer
It was finally time to head home. Grabbing his things Spencer left and soon found himself back home. "Evening, where is everybody?" He asked Valentina as he came in.
Valentina
Valentina walked over to Spencer, "Jackl found an injured kitsune. They're in the other room." She said,.pointing in the direction. "And I think my brother's upstairs."
Spencer
Spencer walked over to the small fox demon on the table, a snake laying with it hissed at his approach. Backing up a bit he said. "Might have mentioned the snake. What do we know about the little fox?" He searched through the fridge, looking for some dinner and maybe something for the kitsune. "Are you hungry?" He asked.
Ruby
Ruby awoke to the smell of a human. She looked up, and growled. "I smell a human." She coughed. "Why is a human here?"
Spencer
Spencer turned to the table closing the fridge. "Because your in my house. But I'm not a demon hunter." Then turning to Valentina asked. "Since I'd rather keep all my fingers, would you please take this to her?" He held out bowl filled with a broth like substance.
Ruby
Ruby coughed, and tried to stand again. "I don't care what TenZen said. I'm not staying with a human." She said. She fell over, coughing.
Valentina
Valentina took the bowl, and while she didn't apreachiate being told what to do, especialy not by humans, she took it to the kitsune. She placed it in front of the fox, and then sat on the floor a little ways away.
Ruby (again)
Ruby turned away from the bowl, "It smells like humans." She said. "It's probably poisoned." She wanted to get up, and leave, but she couldn't. Instead, she just growled, and asked Starr something in an anchiant demon toungue. "Can you go tell TenZen that I'm in the 'care' of a human?"
((sorry, i've been busy with school starting up again))
Rhyn~
strange runes and symbols flashed in front of my eyes. some of them were nothing more than that but others, they had an air about them. several seamed hot, some more than others and in different ways, others cold, one even had an air of such utter repulsiveness it made my head throb. then i started hearing sounds but they didnt fit these symbols...
my eyes opened and i sat up hearing a commotion in the kitchen. listening more intently i heard a new voice and some strange.... language? I got up and walked to the door of the kitchen "great, more people..." i sighed leaning on the wall for support still feeling quite weak
Spencer
Spencer sighed. "You guys are so difficult sometimes. I'd prove that it's not poisoned because, it in fact is poisonous to me." He told the kitsune. Then snake slithered to the door and hissed, but Jackl wasn't around to let it out, and Spencer was not about to get near it. Instead he turned to the demon boy looking him over. "Would you object to eating something?" He asked not wanting to bother making it if he would refuse it. He was already looking better, and was up on his feet so that was good. But Spencer was sure he could use some food if he'd take it. The kitsune however needed food. He sighed again stubborn, proud, and quite a hassle, but he wouldn't want to see them any other way. . . again.
TenZen
TenZen woke to the light of the moon. Standing up quickly he walked out of the tent calling in a hissing language to another snake who replied quickly. "Not back?" He said to himself, just when he heard something crash through the under growth. It was on of the hellhounds. It was covered in blood and full of plenty of bullet holes, it was also missing a leg. Crashing to the ground it spoke. TenZen listened intently to the barking grumbles that the language consisted of. "Surprise attack! All the others are dead. Strange smart people?" He scowled before clearing his expression. "Sleep now brother, you did good." He stroked the dog and it turned to dust scattering into the wind. Standing up he watching the particals disappear. "Well, meet you on the other side, brother."
Turning on his heel he sniffed the blood that had gotten on his fingers. There was a strange demon sent that mingled with the other smells. Calling to the skeletal demon, "Keep watch over the camp and keep the gargoyle here until I get back." before darting in to the woods to find this new demon.
Jackl
Jackl rolled over unable to sleep. And poked his head up on to the arm of the chair. Watching the others in the other room.
Gaile woke herself purposefully before her sleep cycle would normally end, because she had slept sooner than she normally would have. The sleep had done some good though, she healed faster in her stone state than normal. The Iron injury was still burning, but not nearly as bad as before she opened her eyes and stretched, careful not to jostle her injured wing. Then she got up, and prepared to leave.
((For story pupouses I'm going to be the skeletal demon here for a bit.))
The skeletal demon turned it's head to look at the gargoyle, without moving it's body. "The hounds are not yet back, lady gargoyle." He spoke which was kind of true. "And TenZen has gone to scout that area."
Gaile didn't notice the skeletal demon until spoke, and answered "I can sleep no longer today, and I have things of my own to contend with. I assure you I shall be more careful of humans in the future, but I shall not take up room a tent in you camp any longer, I thank you for your courtesy, but I cannot stay." And she walked on.
"I very much wish that you would stay. TenZen has requested it, so it is likely important." He said turning his head to keep his empty eye sockets trained on the gargoyle.
Gaile paused midstride and turned back to the skeletal demon. "I suppose I can wait for a bit longer. But I cannot sleep more, food would be in good order."
"Of course." He rattled out. The skeletal demon stood from the chair. "This way lady gargoyle." He motioned to be followed. And headed further into the camp never taking his empty gaze from her.
Gaile followed slowly, she was starting to get irritated, why did these people want her to stay so much? She had better things to do than hang around in a war camp.
Mitch
Mitch crept out from under the bed, and stepped over to the door. He didn't smell the hellhounds, and though he didn't want to take chances he walked out. It was to noisey inside, he walked back into the woods, and sat down next to a tree.
Valentina
Valentina saw her brother leave again, and wondered why. She shifted, and followed him. She stopped a little ways away from the tree he was under.
Ruby
Ruby still refused to eat, she didn't trust that human, not one bit. She cursed him in the ancient toungue, she used earlier, and sighed.
