Demonic Needs [Inactive]

Gaile looked at TenZen curiously, and when he said he would not try to stop her, she relaxed a little. Before he had a chance to retreat to his tent, she said, "I do not wish to enter your tent, and I have no fear of your cronies." She did not look forward to a battle with an entire camp full, and very possibly more, angry demons, at least, not with a hole in her wing. "But, if you have anything of relevance to say, I will hear it here and now if you will speak it." She had crouched in a traditional Gargoyle vigil position,'Wait's Patiently'. as she spoke, and looked at him expectantly.

TenZen

TenZen turned a smile on his face. "As you like." He said before hissing for the gathering crowd to disspurse. TenZen walked back toward the gargoyle a bit before speaking. "I'm sure you'd really prefer not to mess with all this." He motioned at the war camp. "But I think we could find it mutually beneficial for you to help. You would have something to guard and once we move in on the hunters, you could claim any number of locations that we cross. You'd also get any protection and food you require in return. While we would gain quite a guardian, even if a temporary one. And mearly the thought of a gargoyle would make hunters think twice about invaiding the camp. Your kind has quite the fearsome reputation." He said, in a very sensible tone.

Spencer

Spencer nodded. "You may have a point. Let's head out then. Jackl help me pack the medicines please." And with that Spencer was pulling bottles out and putting them in a carrying bag.

Jackl

Jackl shook his head. "You're really set on this, eh?" He flew to the counter and began hepling soon they were ready to leave. Jackl had to admit he'd miss the place while they were gone, but he was sure they'd be back. And his sofa would be waiting there for him.

Gaile showed teeth and changed into a less passive vigil position, known as 'Watchful', she didn't particularly like this snake's smile, or his tone . . . "As flattering as your offer might be sir, and although you seem to know a great deal about my 'kind', you do not seem to know that we do not exactly do temporary situations, and, when we travel, we do so alone. You offer me protection, when I should think that you would realize that I neither need nor want protection, I Am protection. Also, my 'kind' can survive eons without sustenance. So your offer holds very little temptation for me, particularly given that I have no quarrel with humans."

TEnZen's eyes narrowed a bit. "I know that's how you gargoyle's do things. You think the rest of us wouldn't rather be in our own cozy little burrows, rather then packed together in tents. But we'd rather not be wiped out by the hunters." TenZen took a deep breath trying to calm himself before he got riled up. "That whole in your wing should be enough to tell you that hunters don't play fair. They don't need a reason to attack, they attack because you are what you are. If you don't have a bone to pick now, you will later if you survive. They know how to find you, gargoyle." Letting the small snake off his arm he finished with. "If that doesn't sound like reason enough, then you may leave now. I'll not argue a point to someone who won't listen, when I have an army of demons waiting for my directions."

Ruby

Ruby opened her eyes, and smelt familiar smells. She was back in the demon uprising territory. She tried to stay still, now that she was out of the care of a human.

Gaile was really taking a dislike to this TenZen person. He seemed to think himself very superior and it grated on her nerves. "I fail to see how you can have gotten an army, demon, human or otherwise, since you cannot seem to hide your contempt for them, and their traditions, when trying to convince someone to join your cause." She spat, pivoting on one heel and walking away.

TenZen laughed at the gargoyles last words, but did not reply. He headed to the healing tent a grin still on his face. "How are you Ruby?" He asked.

Gaile heard TenZen laugh. She knew he was laughing at her, but she didn't care. She Refused to care. She kept walking . . .

She had no reason to stay, he'd given her every excuse in the world to leave . . .

This was interesting, Gaile had never experienced unadulterated hatred before, not being acquainted with the feeling, she wasn't entirely sure that that was what it was, but given the fire boiling in her chest she was fairly certain.

Rhyn~

i sat back and finished my meal as the human and the little one got their stuff together. "well since i've nothing but myself, lets get going? anyone have a way to track the General?" i asked reffering to the snake demon in a sarcastic tone

Ruby

Ruby looked up at TenZen, "I feel fine, really." She said, weakly. She closed her eyes, laying her head back down.

Mitch

Mitch wandered into the kitchen, and Valentina told him what was going on. He ran upstairs, and grabbed his favorite cushion. He brought it down, and sat.

Valentina

Valentina told her brother what they were doing, and then sat down. She really didn't have anything, besides a few old pillows in the ally way.

Jackl

Jackl picked up a small satchel and strapping in on headed for the door. "That's one thing I can do." Sniffing around outside he got the trail and flew off into the woods.

Spencer

Spencer waited until all the demons had gone out to start following. He'd need to be in the back so the demons could explain before he was murdered.

TenZen

"That's good." TenZen sighed stroking Ruby's soft fur.

Valentina

Valentina shifted into cat form, and ran outside, following Jackl. She was quicker in her cat form, and quiet.

Mitch

Mitch was having a bit of trouble keeping up, since he was carrying the pillow. He ran as fast as he could, without tripping. ((He was in his cat form))

Ruby

Ruby softly smiled, as she felt TenZen stroke her fur.

Rhyn~

i smiled to myself as i followed them out the door and into the woods "this is going to be interesting" i said quietly. i tried to stretch my injured wing out to see how well it was healing, i still couldnt open it all the way but it the bullet holes had started to heal up nicely

Jackl

Jackl went at a kind of slow pace ensuring that he could be seen at all times.

TenZen

TenZen groaned as border patrol returned reporting some creatures approaching camp slowly. He sent Starr to see about them, and soon the snake was off sliding quickly through the underbrush.

Gaile left the army encampment not looking back as she walked, wishing that she could heal faster, the hole in her wing would keep her from flying for quite some time, flying would have relieved some of the pent up anger, but it didn't really mater. She punched a tree, bark sprayed everywhere, and the wood splintered and threatened to split under the impact of her fist, but her hand remained unharmed. Ah, that was a little better. Now, time to continue her search for a suitable home.
