" i dont like much of anything anymore" i replied my voice showing hints of sadness before hastily adding "especially not you!" i really had nothing against him personally i just dont like other people and the fact that said 'other people' had to safe me put a bad taste in my mouth.
 
Jackl


"I seem to have that effect on other demons . . ." Jackl sighed. "As much as you don't like me you'll have to put up with me if you want anything. Spencer, charging me with means I'm all you get. Tch, bossy human." The last part was said mostly to himself though still out loud.
 
Mitch


At that point Mitch stepped in, "We're all fellow demons, here. Well, except for that ONE human, who doesn't hate us." He said calmly.
 
Jackl


Jackl looked over as Mitch stepped in sounding like he was gonna start making a speech about friendship. Jackl smiled a bit. "Other demons don't usually care for me, but I guess you have a point."
 
Rhyn~


"hmph, stupid human lovers" i growled quietly and started moving towards the edge of the table intending to try for the door. every shift brought sharp pains to my wounds

Mitch


Mitch backed away from the table, "I never said I love humans, and neither did Jackl." He said. "I said we're all fellow demons here, except for one human who isn't a threat." He turned, and slowly walked out of the room, taking his time.


Valentina


Valentina sat down, and looked around. So, this is what a human house looks like on the inside." She said. She felt the soft couch cushions, and then stood up. She slipped out the door, and grabbed a few pillows from the pile outside. She brought them in, and switched them out for the soft ones. She took those outside, and put them in the pile. She came back in, and sat back down when, Mitch came in. "Oh, hi." She said. "I got us a few new pillows, they're really soft, and new."
 
Jackl


Jackl sat watching as the boy scooted towards the edge of the table. "Are you sure that's a good idea right now." He asked hopping down from the table and stuffing the grocery bags in the fridge and pulling out the ground beef. He sat on the floor in front of the fridge tearing open the package and biting into the slightly warm meat, as Mitch left the room. "Hungry? He asked before pausing. The girl was sneaking around and now something felt wrong, there was something different in his territory. "Hold that thought." He said getting up and scurrying out of the room leaving the package of meat behind. He walked slowly through the house stopping in the living room he ran over to the sofa. "What did you do?! Where are my cushions?!" He yelled tearing the old dirty cushions from their places, furious. His wings sprouting from his back fully spread out in a threat posture making him look bigger than he was.
 
Valentina


Valentina paused then, hissed. She grabbed her sythe, and got into a defencive stance. She hissed, and growled, "They're my cusions now!" She yelled. She stood there, waiting for him to make his move. Once he did, she would kill him with a few quick slices from her sythe.


Mitch


Mitch growled quietly, at bothof them. But, more at Valentina, they WERE in Jackl's territory after all. He stepped back a few steps, deciding to let them settle their differences.
 
Jackl


'This girl has some nerve stealing from me and then pulling out a weapon.' He growled deep in his throat, when he was lifted into the air. Spencer had picked him up. "Let go of you darn, cursed human!" He yelled struggling and flapping his wings. "They need to learn their place, this is my territory which means I'm alpha around here!"


Spencer


Spencer had heard a ruckus when he got out of the shower, so quickly pulling on some pants he hurried to the living room. Jackl and the girl were seconds away from a bloody fight and Spencer had one injured demon and did not need more. Coming around behind Jackie he picked up the small demon. Instantly Jackl began yelling and struggling his sharp claws digging into Spencer's hands. "This is my house, so you may live here but that makes me alpha, Jackl. Now go back and watch the shadow demon boy. I'll get your pillows, or get you new ones." Jackl stopped struggling and mumbled that he only wanted his cushions. Spencer tossed him into the air and he flapped out of the room. "Now then what exactly was going on?" He asked the siblings.
 
Valentina


"You just don't get it do you!?" She yelled. "We live in the trash, while he lives here with a human who provides him with food, shelter, and safety! All I wanted were a few cushions to make our "home" a little more comfortable. At least I didn't try to claim his whole territory! Although, he was acting like I was! He's just a spoiled, little brat!" She hissed. Her twin tails were swinging back, and forth, signaling she was angry, and WOULD attack.


Mitch


Mitch hissed, and shifted into his cat form. He ran outside, and over to the pile of pillows. He picked one up, and brought it in the house. Then, repeated it till all the cushions were inside. He took the dirty pillows outside, and put them in the pile. He walked around in a small circle on the pile, and lied down, with a small sigh.
 
Spencer


Spencer sighed sitting down on the arm of the sofa and running a hand through his hair. "Maybe I've spoiled him a bit but, I believe that attitude goes deeper. He's no strong or high level demon, though he likes to act tough. I wish he'd use his head more it'd keep him out of a lot of trouble. He feels the need to fight to prove his worth, to convince himself he's not worthless. He doesn't get along with his own kind, and needed saving from a human. Now he doesn't venture far from the house out of fear." Spencer readjusted his glasses. "He never forgive me for telling you that but the last thing we need with hunters about is demons fighting each other. I don't know if you want help from a human but your welcome to stay here or I'll give you some pillows."


Jackl


Jackl bit his lip till he tasted blood from it, he was out in the hallway away from the others. Pushed around by a human, scorned by demons, attacked by hunters he felt like such an out cast and he couldn't understand why. He was a full demon with powerful blood lines, but he had barely any powers himself he couldn't even contribute to his clan's lineage. Tears threatened to show themselves. He growled biting his lip again and the tears retreated. He swallowed and put on an emotionless face walking back into where the shadow demon was. He looked at the ground beef and pushed it away it rolling across the floor. And sat back at the table in one of the chairs.

i had managed to get sitting up on the side of the table with my legs hanging down off the side when the boy, jackl came in and flopped donw in a chair. I couldnt help but laugh " wheres that high and mighty attitude?" i asked sarcastically, or tried to between winded breaths.
 
Jackl


Jackl gave a short half hearted growl and lay his head on the table. "What's it to you?" He asked though even that wasn't very aggressive. He sighed, "Just leave me be. Stupid girl, stupid human, stupid cushions, stupid . . ." His list continued on for a while.
 
December


She looked around the room for any tables that needed service.She saw even more drunken men.She rolled her eyes,asking them to leave the two woman alone.Of course they didn't listen,and a security guard came over to the group."I've got this,December" He said,and the concealed werewolf went to assist any tables without service,going back to work.She sighed,walking around the room
 
Valentina


Valentina sighed, "We'll be staying, but ONLY because of the hunters. Just give us some pillows, and food, and we'll stay out of your way." She said. She shifted into her cat form, her tails were still high in the air. She ran out of the door, and over to the pile of pillows. "Come on, Mitch." She said. "We're staying with the human." She headed back toward the house.


Mitch


Mitch yawned, and stood up. He picked up a small dark red pillow, it had holes all over it, and it was covered in dirt. He walked back to the house, and through the door. He put the pillow under the bed he and his sister were hiding under before. He lied down on it, and closed his eyes.

i stuck my hand on the back of his head and ruffled his hair " now that is something i can do" i said with a sarcastic tone then finally got on me feet with the help of the nearby chairs. I made my way through the house, holding myself up with walls and anything sturdy enough to hold me up. eventually I made it to a room with a bed that had the corner of a red pillow sticking out from under it. i hobbled over and flopped down on the bed careful to keep my injured wing stretched out from under me.
 
Spencer


Spencer gave a small smile. "That's fine." When the girl had left he couldn't help but laugh a little. "Such stubborn creatures." Looking at his watch he realized he was late for work. He considered not going but decided he'd better, plus the demons were probably all tired at the moment. He walked out the door silently promising to be back soon.


Jackl


Jackl stiffened a little at the touch, not even Spencer ever touched his head. But it didn't hurt, and it wasn't threatening so he just lay there. Even as the boy got up shakily and made his way out of the room. Jackl was left by himself to wallow his wings wrapped around him and he sighed miserably closing his eyes. Though it was still early he felt worn out, and fell into a dreamless sleep sitting in a chair head on the table.
 
Mitch


Mitch could tell that someone had lied on the bed. He opened his eyes, and looked up, wondering who it was. He stuck his head out from under the bed, and saw the demon from earlier. He scooted back under the bed, and lied back down.


Valentina


Valentina entered the house, and sniffed around for her brother. She followed his sent to the bed they were under earlier, and slipped under, lying down next to him. 
Ruby


Ruby wandered around in her fox form, looking for demons in need of help. She sniffed the ground, and crinkled her nose. She smelt something she didn't like, she smelt iron, and iron usually meant hunters. She jumped back, and looked for a place to hide. She ducked under a sign outside of a building, though she didn't like hiding. She felt like a coward, but she knew she couldn't handle even one hunter by herself. Then, she held her breath, as a large group of hunters walked right by her. She sighed, and walked out, but then one of the hunters turned around. She was startled, and yelped. She turned, and ran, but she heard the hunter close by. She ran into an allyway, and heard a gunshot. She ran faster, and eventually found a pile of pillows. The hunter was pretty far behind, but catching up quickly. She threw a pillow into the middle of the path, and used her illusion magic to make it look like her. She was about to run, but the hunter came around the corner. If she ran now, the decoy wouldn't work. So, she ducked behind a dumpster, and watched as the hunter destroyed the pillow. When the magic wore off, the hunter growled angrily, and threw it on the ground. He looked around for a while, but soon gave up, and left to join his group. Ruby stepped out of her hiding place, and her adrenaline rush faded, and there was a sharp burning sensation in her back leg. Her vision began to become blurry, and her whole leg burned. She fell over, passing out on the pile of pillows.

Spencer


Spencer was sitting behind the counter at the general store he worked at. Some hunters came in talking loudly about their exploites of the day so far. He only heard snatches of the conversation. Something about a kitsune, and the earlier events with the shadow demon. But then something quite interesting. Demon sightings were going down, but the ones reported said they were traveling in packs. The hunters congradulated each other on scaring the demons so much that they were now seeking safety in numbers. But Spencer wasn't so sure they were scared, demons rarely traveled in packs even when very threatened.


TenZen


TenZen was in the big tree deep in the forest. Ruby had gone out solo, and wasn't back yet. He was starting to consider going out after her. She would likely not have it to bad in the city in her fox form but there was always the chance. "Go and look for her, Star." He hissed to the small black snake curled around his horn. "Make sure she's okay, we can't be losing soldiers now." The snake flicked it's tongue and slithered quickly off. TenZen's bright yellow eyes flicked across the scene below him. All the pieces were coming together. If the humans wanted to play survival of the fittest, then play they would and this time the demons would not the the ones force to the edge of extinction. No, not This time.
 
Valentina


Valentina was suddenly forced awake by the sudden sound of a gun shot. She looked over at Mitch, who was still sleeping. She slowly stood up, and walked out from under the bed. She jumped onto a window ceill, and peered outside.

I slowly opened my eyes at the sound of a gun shot "looks like they found another demon" i said bitterly. humans were always killing demons, they were afraid of us. "how would they like it if we hunted them?"
 
((Gonna be writing for Star the snake here for just a bit. She's not an actually an official character.))


Star slithered quickly taking every short cut she knew, and soon arrived in town. Tongue flicking she soon picked up Ruby's scent and followed it. The scent mix with hunters and blood at one point and she quickened even more. Finding Ruby on a pile of pillows. She was bleeding, pressumably shot by the hunters. Star hissed softly at her, then looked around for someone who might could help.
 
Rebekah;


Rebekah ran and didn't stop, she glared over her shoulder to see if the other kids were coming, they always chased her after school ended.


She wished she could just make them hear the voices like she did but the voices in her head told her that it would be a bad idea so instead she turned into a dog and began running.


Jimmy;


Jimmy hated being a werewolf, he always ruined his new clothes, and always scared of prey easily, as he was hunting he saw a kitten and turned into a mother cat and meowed at the kitten to get it's attention.
 
Mitch


Mitch slowly opened his eyes, finally waking up. He walked out from under the bed, and stretched. He looked over at Valentina who was sitting in the window. He shrugged, and walked outside. He looked like a normal cat, not having a split tail like his sister. He walked until he was in the forest, he sat on an old stump, and sighed, looking into space. He took a deep breath, taking in all of the smells. 
Ruby


Ruby opened her eyes slowly, her vision was still blury, and the pain had only worsened. She saw a figure, she wasn't sure who, or what it was. She started mumbling, only a few words understandable.

Jackl


Jackl woke feeling groggy and unsure of what woke him. He made no effort to move until others were walking all around. He dragged himself away from the table, out of the chair and on to the floor. He stretched and yawned widely going out the side door into the alley, where he knew the sun would be at the moment. But when he got out there the pungent smell of demon blood hit his nose instantly waking him more. There was a three tailed fox and a snake. He ran over spotting the wound easily her was almost certain this was hunters doing so the bullet would be iron. But the fox was in bad shape bracing himself and hoping that she wouldn't be to pissed about it, he jammed a finger into the bullet wound. Upon feeling the iron against his skin he felt sick but he continued to fidget with it carefully pulling it out backwards. The bullet clinked on the ground just as his vision began to blur. He reached for a cloth but finding no clean one pulled his shirt off and pressed against the wound. He felt like collapsing and his wings were still out but he hadn't the energy to pull them in.
