oh good question, so Demons don't get stronger from eating other demons, since demons in this setting have an insance healing factor, and the more powerful the demon, the greater the healing capabilities can be. So no, demons can't eat other demons to get stronger, in fact, demons outside of the twelve moons tend to always avoid each other and fight even though they can't kill each other. The only demon that can kill a demon is Muzan, the first demon.

So apparently demons aren't nutritious enough.

Not that I'm taking a dig at your explaination-- but healing factor preventing one from gaining power from consumption makes no sense.

For example, you bite a chunk outta some poor bastard's hand and swallow it. Even if his hand regenerates, you still have a chunk of hand in your stomach; along with all the proteins, vitamins, minerals, etc. that was invested into building that muscle, skin, and bone.

From the rest of your description, I'm lead to believe rather that demons avoid each other because the potential loss of biological 'resources', outweighs any potential gain; especially when you won't be able to destroy the other party to prevent them from coming back for revenge.

So I guess I'm asking if that's a definitive answer provided canonically, or if that's just your reasoning.

If you couldn't tell-- I tend to overthink things.

I'm just trying to make sense out of it. It could also be the eating demons as a demon is absolutely disgusting and it tastes so bad that they throw up from it or something. Also now that I remember, A demon that got it's head cut off by a axe that wasn't made my nichrin was still able to move it around and control it so that could also be a reason demons eat other demons.

Hmmm... I don't wanna be that person, really but I have lost interest in the rp, and with my character. I'm really sorry.

it's fine... It's normal to lose interest on something that isn't very active and that you barely had anytime to contribute on.

yeah im sorry to say that, being a GM is alot more difficult than i had anticipated. I'm sorry to let everyone down but i don't think i can be GM for this RP anymore. Although if anyone would like to be GM or continue to host it or just continue it overall feel free! Again sorry to let this down so quickly i just dont have the understanding and qualities to be a host. :(

I know that feeling man, you feel like you are capable of a task like gming, but quickly realize it's harder than it seems, it's fine, depending on how it goes I don't think this will ast much longer, though I'll stay and wait just incase. Take care.

yeah i didn't realize its alot of pressure to keep people intrigued and trying to make sure that things run smoothly. So many factors as well to keep in consideration

I can always take over GM if you want, you can also stay in the RP still of course with your normal character.
So I take it that this RP is now officially dead?
I wouldn't say so, there is still people in it. Plus other people might join since it is open again, I know a friend who wanted to join.

Well they can eat demons, they have done so in the show. But it offers no nutrients. They feed off humans so it can be assumed they feed of something that only humans have and something that is taken away whenever you become a demon. Also, I think Solrius meant that attacking them to the point of incapacitating them is hard. You would hardly be able to eat their leg whenever they can still rip you apart in the process. Plus with no benefit from eating demons, there is no point to attack them. And with the reason why they don't stay around each other is yes of course for more food but it is actually something Muzan, the creator of demons, installed in them so they couldn't band together and overpower him.

Oh heya. It's me, ya boi. Just finished the anime and I need to fill the void TwT
