Fantasy Delta Green ~One Last Night At The Opera~ OOC

I doubt that, it's just that we operate differently, maybe you need something else to get you into the mood, have you tried method acting? I remember a friend of mine was playing a hard boiled detective type char in a D&D campaign I was in and before every session he downed a cup of black coffee to get into character.

No, I haven't tried that. When I have to do method acting I think the thought never crosses my mind... I'll do it when I remember it then.

It's really helpful when you're low on muse, for the most part I just need music to snap into character, but sometimes I use video games. For example, I have a character in Oblivion modeled after Emilia, I find running around in a big open world as my character, making choices they would and pretending to be them helps a lot.

Hmm, I rarely get new video games anymore. Well, for the most part I do try to do brainstorming sessions on the setting and my characters. I pick up a book, read some interesting topics, think about integrating them into the story and jot down my last thoughts on the matter.

Everyone has their own way of doing it, this is just mine. Though I've got to say if you spent at least half the time writing for your character as you do planning with them you'd fill the IC.

DARK SOULS? I NEVER EVEN TOUCHED THE GAME BEFORE, MUCH LESS PLAYED IT.
Demons souls, dark souls 1-3 and bloodborne are all fucking incredible games, I would highly suggest playing at least one of them or watching a playthrough. They're literally my favorite games ever, hence my profile pic.
