If you're gonna make Jason Todd a lantern, don't make him yellow. Make him red. Make that fucker scary.

Lanterns directly scale with the emotional power of said person that corresponds to that color. Yellow is scary in the hands of Sinestro because he is terrified of failure and of Krona. Red would be terrifying with Jason Todd because few people are more angry than Jason Todd in the DC universe. Supergirl way surpassed Superman because she was angry and had a red lantern ring. Jason Todd is a bigger ball of rage than Supergirl.

The only exception to this rule is Larfleeze because Larfleeze is only scary due to having the entire orange battery because someone thought that would be a good idea. (????? why????)

Its still way too early to determine if I would make Jason a lantern down the road or not lol.
However if Sinestro were to offer him a ring... He might not say no lol.
I actually plan on playing Jason more ruthless than he was in the 'Under the red hood' storyline lol. He is not a happy camper.

Just remember, it's typically best to go with whatever emotion that character exhibits. If he's truly ruthless he'd be a very scary red lantern. If you make him fearful he'll be a scary yellow lantern.

Every ring type works differently. What makes the yellow rings unique is that they can utilize the emotion of the wearer as well as the fear of others. That's why the rings search for those with the ability to instill great fear, not those who are predisposed to feeling great fear. Spreading fear to enforce order is the entire point.
So when you imply that yellow lanterns aren't scary, or that Sinestro's power just comes from being 'terrified of x and y' and not because of his great understanding of (and experience with) the power of fear in multiple ways, it's... a little bit insulting. He's an extremely nuanced character when written well and my personal favorite.
No hard feelings.
If he's good at being scary already = great yellow lantern. Good at being scary and might be inspired by Sinestro's philosophy = better yellow lantern
He's very compatible with both the red and yellow aspects of the emotional spectrum and would be strong in either.

More like you can't actually be a fantastic yellow lantern Corp member without having at least some aspect of fear. Personally I think he'd be a scarier red lantern because we've seen what happens when you give someone who's a pure ball of hatred a red lantern whereas we haven't seen someone who's fearless use a yellow lantern ring as well as someone who took it out of fear.

Okay, I made the changes! Let me know if anything doesn't work or should be changed; I ended up going into more detail than I expected to, mostly because it's an alternate thing rather than canonical. No worries about your character sheet though, everything looks fine!
And also, the idea of Jason being either type of lantern does sound quite terrifying indeed. xD

Actually no. There are no OC's in this RP, only canon characters. You can alter their backstory and various things about them though (such as age, gender, ect)

welp, this is awkward. i thought from the CSs that this was more around OCs - i guess i just didnt recognise some of them - but fair enough. unfortunately, all the ones i know (that arent massively OP) are taken already so...welp. sorry for wasting your time.
