Darkness in Elaria [ACTUAL RP]

Cypherion's spy threw a dagger to the beast's left eye.And Cypherion quickly slashed the beast using is Greatsword and stabbed the beast with his Sword.

Cypherion stood still and watched the lady run away without even knowing her name.Cypherion slowly drew his sword on his left hand and a greatsword on his right hand leaving his shield as a protection on the back.(I know right)"What should we do?"He slowly stepped on one foot closer to the beast.
(Shes not running away so much as shadowing away. Shes a shadow. Literally. A black mist.)
With the beast now blond, Ausinoe dashed closer to it and set fire to it's legs, slashing it mercilessly, looking for the artery that ran inside the elbow.

The beast was still capable of fighting using its sense of smell. It went to leap at Ausinoe but Skjorn stopped it short cleaving his a e into the back of it neck.

(LOL)

He looked at this beast die. Then he gave a helping hand to Skjorn. He looked at the shadow,"I know you're still there. Why did you not leave and aid us?"

"You aided me." Ausione retorted, resuming her physical form. "And unto thee I owe a thithe for your help. But I must take my leave. You know not what I am... and what danger I may bring to you. If are real, and not a trick of the dark god, forgive me, but I see no other choice..."

Cypherion gave the lady his mighty shield,"Here,it will protect you.I do not need it anymore.I have my own protection right here."He simply let the lady walk away,"Go.If it is your path, then take it.Surely the ancestors will protect you better than us."

"Fine then, flee if that is your decision, we can't possibly force you to aid us, but know this… do you feel right with yourself leaving these lands where you are stuck to their fate?" Skjorn said solemnly. He grabbed his pack from inside the cave. And came with a leaf in his hand, which he extended to Ausinoe.

"You ate Jinxy Berries, chew this and you will feel better." Skjorn offered. "There are more packs with supplies in the outpost but we must go now." He said, directed toward Cypherion.

" I do not know of this fate... but I will soon find out. Do not think I will abandon you once I learn more of this, but I cannot take this journey on your word alone. If there be more people in this land... I will find them.... and see for myself..."

She took the leaf from Skjorn, but refused the sheild. "I am more of a rougue than an armored warrior" she responded, a slight smile creeping along the edges of her lips. She quickly retrived her amulet, glowing as always, having dropped it in her flight. I bore the shape of a rams head, the crest of the horned race, the Murutha.

Skjorn nodded and went to his horse. He almost whispered before pulling him towards the mouth of the cave.

"This is Steud, you may rest and ride him if you like Ausinoe." Skjorn nudged Steud closer.

"Let us go,Skjorn. We still have much more to do.Is your shoulder feeling better? You might need it on our next fight.Farewell,lady.May our paths cross again."He took the shield and placed it on his back.

Ausinoe felt a pang of emptiness, watching the men ride off. She had little contact with other people in her wanderings... even in meetings as strange and sudden as this. But if what they said was true, and this new land was in danger.... she must see it. Ausinoe looked back in the direction of Odekulndr, pondering how she should enter. A shadow would work well until the darkness of night and shadows of early morning revealed her dark form. Prehaps you'll think of it as you com to that probblem... for now, I must make way. Ausinoe mounted Steud, and cantered in the direction of the great city on the night horizon.

Cypherion forgot his mighty steed on his camp,"Skjorn.Go back to the place we fought.I forgot something"

I need to find my steed.
"Skjorn,meet Avalon and Ameliz"

"They are brothers in arms.Avalon is my steed and Ameliz is Jhan's."

(Avalon is fire and Ameliz is the ghost thingy horse)

(Okay since their isn't magic in Elaria, let's say these are very rare horses that Ebonhold raises for it's army.)

"Do my eyes deceive me or are these truly war horses of Ebonhold?" Skjorn said stunned. He stared at the horses with intrigue and curiosity. He patted the neck of Avalon. "A fine steed you have General." Skjorn added.

"Thank you, friend. They have the same mother who was killed during battle.Strange though....it hasn't drained its magic." Cypherion mounted himself on Avalon and Jhan mounted on Ameliz."Your route Skjorn."

Skjorn nodded and led them east. They walked through the night, a light snowfall had began to fall by sunrise. They were nearing the border of the dead marsh, when Skjorn saw them… The Gunnarulfr, his old allies and friends. He waved them down and they came running to the sight of their old friend. They came and greeted him warmly.

"I am sorry for making you leave Odeklundr, by the way this is Cypherion Bloodkin General of Ebonhold and his cohort, they travel with me to the Dead Marsh, is that the path you take." Skjorn said to Havgre Horisson, Chief of he Gunnarulfr.

"Greetings men of the south, and Skjorn we are servants of Odeklundr, so we know you did what you must. And yes we make for the Dead Marsh do you wish to travel with us?" Havgre asked. Skjorn nodded and they continued on their journey. During the walk Skjorn filled in Havgre about Ausinoe. "You truly believe she wields magic?" Havgre asked alarmed.

"I saw it with my eyes Havgre… my own two eyes!" Skjorn exclaimed.

"Then this Ausinoe will be drawn to the Dark Magic that taints our lands even if the King doesn't believe it exists." Havgre replied. Skjorn nodded before looking ahead, a couple miles away he could see the beginnings of the vast swamp.

Ausinoe rode Steun close to the gates of Odeklundr, her burqa now covering her face and strange appearence. The city was great, clearly carved into the side of the mountain. It reminded her of the cavern districts of Asparas...

Cypherion stopped for a second. And think of the lady again,"She looked...deadly.But then she helped us."

King Thror sent a guard to invite this "foreigner" into his hall. He would see this "beast" and discover if she were friend or foe.

(I guess I will play the kings of the cities unless someone else does.)

Ausinoe was not surprised to see someone approaching from the city. She had covered herself completely, and felt safe, as those around her would not be afraid of her appearence. She dismounted the horse and quickly gave the approaching guard a deep bow.

"King Thror invites you to…," the guard paused as he saw her eyes,"the Royal Hollow to be his guest I will escort you. If you will follow me please." The guard announced as he turned to guide her to Thror.

He led her though the city into the throne room where King Thror stood waiting. His hand on the pommel of his sword.

"Guards leave us, I am king Thror of Odeklundr, ruler of the north and defender of the Great Mountain. Tell me traveler… how did you come upon Skjorn's steed, you must be a friend are you not?" Thror questioned Ausinoe after the room cleared.

(Im gonna watch you guys until Lore goes back to Skjorn unless Lore tells me to role somebody.)

"A friend... I suppose so. I collapsed in the snow outside this city. Skjorn found me and sheltered me in a mountain fortress. Upon parting he gave me his steed to aid me in my travels" Ausinoe recanted, kneeling before the king, her burka still covering her like a blanket, only her eyes - black where the white should have been - were exposed. She looked to the ground before her, hoping the king wouldn't take fear in her appearence.
