Kylesar1 I was wondering if it would be okay to add in Skip (Gwyn's brother) into the mix. Maybe something like he is only called in for special cases, he could be really good with time travel or something. Would it be okay to make up his CS and then just leave him there to hang out until needed (if plot fits). Wanna get your okay before I do it.
If he's the time traveler, he must use Void Magic. That's the only requirement

Awesome. I don't mind. I just thought it would be fun to do a time traveler. (Guess too much Doctor Who lately, xD ) I've never done one before, but of course I will alter the character any way you think will best fit the story. Thanks! :)

To everyone, I'm gonna do a massive time skip after this is all concluded, about a month. Then we will start on the Major case

Sounds great. I am looking forward to the big case.

Are you going to keep the Vamp girl around? The part with you and her was cute.

I am gonna work on Skip's profile so he is ready when needed. Will have him done before I go to bed tonight.

Because the editor is really inaccessible for someone who is totally blind, I was trying to just delete and repost before anyone went off of what I wrote. The only thing different is I took out the mention of Eva bagging the merry-go-round.

I'm gonna keep her. Evan will adopt her within the time skip.

I love that idea. It is like cuteness overload. And I think it would be awesome if she pops up around the HQ. Adorable. :)

Question: What would be some good abilities to go with Skip for the Void magic. I don't fully know how time travel will factor into the story, and I want to make him be as useful as possible.

Time travelling is extremely powerful, so he will have to go pure void

I think a good ability would be to incorporate Mini Time Portals in battle. For example, he can grab weapons from the past (or future)

In terms of more magical things, think in terms of apocalypse. For example, he could delve far into the future (or the dinosaurs) and divert meteors or whatever through the portal. Or a flood. Or a world fire or something. I don't know

It could stimulate summoning by moving animals through time portals

He could cast a spell or something to speed up time to either a person or an area

I don't know

I have him pure void. I want that to be his only real ability, that way he is a total asset but can only be used for the one thing. That way he can be played, yet only when there is time travel involved.

I had something made up about portal creation. Just didn't know if it would be too powerful. Thanks for the tips. They have pointed me in the right direction.

Oi..I've been feeling a bit romantic lately, but not romantic as in super sappy and cheesy but like a bit detailed and complicated, but it's up to you guys if you allow this or if you want this to end well or not for Afrielle.

So there's this vampire character that was made called David Bellemare (I think it was @divyansh's character, I might be mistaken) and I thought that since both Bellemare (beautiful pond) and Fontanne (fountain) are French names (coincidentally with water...yes I was taught French in school and I can speak French pretty well) that they could have some sort of relationship with each other. This is just off the top of my hat so here goes:

So let's say one of his relatives teaches the academy (idk, his name can be Alphonse Bellemare) and is in fact one of Afrielle's most trusted confidantes and one of the people that advised her to pursue the DADC with the powers she has, even giving her some advice on her rosary. Alphonse usually feeds off of blood samples that students are kind enough to donate for him, preventing him from killing any student in the academy. He was selected to be in the academy for his vampiric strength and he was the person to prove to Afrielle that vampires could be good and moral...if they kept their cravings in check. He was also the first person telling Afrielle that vampires won't attack her if the rosary was glowing, but could also render you useless in combat. Basically one of the only friends that she had.

He told Afrielle that he knew where her family was and that she could have a chance of finding them if she joined the DADC without any clues or clarification, and with that blind hope alone, that's exactly what she did, (it wasn't like she could just swim in her parent's money doing absolutely nothing with her talent) but there was a catch: Afrielle couldn't return to France to visit Alphonse to talk or to clarify because that would abandon her duties in the DADC, so Afrielle was stuck in America, trying to find her family, hopefully in Washington DC...because government protection.

So mission stuff happens and she finds herself running into the vampire they were supposed to kill and like Afrielle is tasked to slay him because angels and all that is holy whatever, but Afrielle recognizes the name and tried to talk to him about her family. David finds himself taken aback, thinking at first that she was out to kill his family but stops himself once he sees the rosary. He says to her "Don't kill me, I got your family..blah blah blah" making her drop the rosary and she starts to hallucinate but as the vampire goes in for the kill, he decides to play with his prey and gives her a shallow cut with his knife, seeing the blood sparkle, knowing with his intuition that it could be the best blood he's ever tasted or the most poisonous. Turns out apparently angel blood is like heroin, it's addicting as hell to vampires, but it could either give him some of his humanity, heal him or weaken him, the choice is up to you guys. So then the relationship sorta blooms from there, slowly and cautiously. They could be either doomed or fated..who knows?

I just thought it would add some complexity to some of the villians since I personally wanted a connection with one of them instead of just "boom boom kill you're dead", but I have no intention of making this all about romance, because, yes, I find overly sappy romances a bit annoying too, but I just thought it would be cool to add an emotional aspect if everyone's okay with it! Soryy if it was a bit long to read but I was overthinking it a bit ik ik.

Ok, the next thing I'm gonna post is the intro to the Heinrich thing. It's pretty long, and it doesn't even have to be acknowledged until later, but I just wanted to establish it and get it done.

<-< I doubt my character got approved. Like No one said its approved yet. Other than that I am fine with what u said @theglassangel

And didn't expect anyone to notice that :P I know a little french myself ( studied it 3 years in middle school )

Heinric's this is great!!! I enjoyed reading it. I it is going to be a wonderful addition to the game. The Tin Man is an ass and Heinrich is quite angry. It is great. I can tell a lot of thought went into it. :)

Since you're the maker of the case, you'll be giving the briefing once we all travel to Germany

Hello. I'm interestd in joining.
Just make the CS. We're gonna be going on a major case, so if you make a villain, it'll be a minute to their case

I think that the complexity with the villains is needed. Gwyn has her own issues when dealing with villains because of value of human life, this is a weakness for her because she thinks sometimes with emotion which causes her to act irrationally when it comes to their lives.

Afrielle is younger and quite passionate, so makes sense that she would want to find a special connecting bond with someone seeing as her life was rough. Her connection with Bellemare sounds nice. I like the element of drama it can add.

---------

Kylesar1 so since Alyssa is now a character that is going to pop up from time to time, would you mind if Gwyn has a connection with her, you know like bring her books and toys maybe, or special sweets, and dresses or clothes and shoes. Maybe they even sit and have some conversations about things. And they have the common interest with both having nature as an element magic. Gwyn would be willing to help her learn things about nature and using the element. Maybe Gwyn can even learn from her. I just think that Gwyn would want to be maternal towards her, since she tires takes care of her co-workers, and since this little girl had such a horrible upbringing. Just and idea, wanted to run it by you.

Alyssa is actually gonna be very important to the next case. The connection between them can happen though

I am glad that Alyssa is going to be a major part of the next story. I am keeping Skip based in Europe so if he is needed for this next case he is close by.

Thanks for letting the connection happen.

I think that the first case was interesting because it really let our individuality happen. It was a great warm up. I cannot wait to start this big case.

That means it did it's job right

When everyone's ready, just indicate it on whatever IC post

Can Alyssa be connected also to Bellemare, leading me to meet him?

Also, ready for the timeskip

I suppose so. PM me the closer details when you get the chance. Since we're following this case first, you have plenty of time.

All we need now is wakka, then we'll skip

What exactly is gonna happen to Mary?
