@Chayliel your character sheet seems alright. For a moment I was worried you had too many weapons, but thats all in the basic equipment of a fighter. Have fun with that.

My only concern here is the flavor text of your appearance. It says chainmail that looks like platemail? What do you mean by that?

@Naxtaroth thats one heck of an attack bonus for bow. I am guessing your dex was capped at 15 +a racial bonus from elf, then a +1 bonus for archer fighting style and on top of that you took the +2 stat bonus at 4th level ?

The only thing I would like to see changed is to add a trinket. Please roll a d100 and recieve a random trinket from the rolltable. Maybe it will be worked in later maybe it wont, but I prefer to have them added in.

@Grimsvald yes, that is how I got such high dexterity is focusing my points there, and it's +2 for ATK rolls from the archery fighting style. So with +4 Dex, +2 from proficiency in martial weapons (which the longbow is), and +2 from fighting style, that's where my high ATK roll bonus comes from. I will be able to work in the trinket now, I'll just go in and add it to the backstory, then re-upload the pdf to drive and edit the link on my CS. Saw your Interest Check post and I just realized you do the 27 point system. Going to have to fix some things anyways since I had to drop skills down since I totaled to 29 from what I rolled

Also, editing the whole Favored Enemy thing to beasts instead of Deurgar and Orcs. I think he'd need a bit more experience with Deurgar before having advantage and just sorta threw in Orcs because I needed a second humanoid. Beasts just seems more logical for him, plus it'll drop my 5 languages down to 4 since Beasts have no language.

@Grimsvald I don't know what I meant either haha. I just changed it to plate though. And I'm very sorry for my absence. Wedding, gymnastics, and other things have not given me time to post. I'll hopefully get one in today.

@Chayliel i know what its like having difficulties getting on to post. 90% of the time im posting one handed from my phone with my newborn on my other arm. Get around to your intro as soon as you can. The Rp is waiting on it.

Stats

Your stats are too high here. Between the numbers you gave me in the OOC tab and here they should have only increased by 2 total. Judging by the high numbers I am guessing you added 2 more stat points per level up?

Go back to your 27 point build of

Str: 11

Dex: 15

Con: 11

Int: 13 (+1 racial)

Wis: 10

Cha: 13 (+2 racial)

Then add 2 points. You may add these 2 points to 1 stat. Or add 1 stat to 2 different stats.

Appearance

Tieflings are almost always red skinned with matching horns. By making your character pale skinned with black horns you are making their appearance rather unforgettable. This would make your character quickly become legend. As long as you are ok with that attention as a thief I will be ok with it.

Archetype

As a thief archetype you will not get any spells or cantrips. That is part of the Arcane Trickster archetype.

If you chose to move into the arcane trickster archetype instead of thief you should have 3 cantrips (One of them being made hand.) Then 4 spells. (3 spell slots) and Intelligence would be your casting ability. These spells would be chosen from the wizard spell list. ( http://engl393-dnd5th.wikia.com/wiki/Wizard_Spells ) But you would lose Fast Hands, Second-Story Work abilities if you left thief archetype.

((Yeah, I added to the stats via leveling up after the first level, so 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th, and got 8 total. I completely forgot about only getting skills points when you reach specific levels.

I read in the handbook that Tieflings can be any human color as well, have darker hair, tails, horns, and solid color eyes. I guess I'll make my char have a genetic irregularity or something.

Those spells come from the Tiefling racial features.))

Yes you can make a tiefling of that color, its just a bit different. People will already take note of "oh my there is a tiefling over there. Stay near by me kids.", but with normal skin tone and different colored horns there may be more memorable stories left behind. "The pale skinned devil of Antra Valley" or something like that.

Again, its not bad. Its pretty darn cool and I would love to build on that. Just letting you know ahead of time. I can't resist building on that. One day you'll walk into town and they will already know who you are.

And wow I didn't realize tieflings got all those spells! That's pretty badass. I only remember them having hellish resistance. These spells will really add to your character too. Awesome stuff!

Once you get those stats fixed we will talk about your entrance into the story.

Got the stats fixed. Dang, I'm so sorry about that, it completely slipped my mind when I was reading the PHB.

The downside is that Hellish Rebuke and Darkness can only be used once per day, but the cantrip is great. Definitely using it to scam a whole lot of NPCs with that...

Hello. I would like to join this to but I presently lack a 5e book. I am buying one asap and ought have it soon. Meantime May I fill out what I can and remember by heart? I have played 5e before and many a game before it.

@Astray Characters are currently entering the story at level 5. 27 point stat buy in with a minimum stat of 8 and max of 15 before racial add in. Starting level 1 coin and equipment. And I request you roll d100 for trinket.

Looks pretty good already though.

I believe the stat spread is correct. Wood elves getting 1 to wis and 2 to Dex.

As for the rest I'll fill it in. Also I'm rather new to the site. How do I roll?

Yeah so far I believe your character sheet is correct. You just had a ? where level is. So I thought I would put that info out there.

In order to roll, go to the top of the website and click on the DICE tab in the blue bar just below the banner. At the top right of the next screen there should be a button for Roll. There rest should explain itself.

You can then post your Roll info here in the OOC or post it inside your IC post. Both work for me.

Alright seams good if my gear is okay. And yeah I did not know the starting level. So that's was helpful.

Also rolling starting coin and gonna work on description and details.

Well I think that's everything essential. I just edited my old post. Should all be square as of now.

And then any chance I could get into the story today? Or tomorrowish.

@Astray everything looks good to me. Let me just give you a run down of what has happened to your character so far.

You are in the great and powerful city of Bexely. The dominant religion in this area is Pelor, but literally all religions are welcome here. The team is at a Religious Summit. Were representatives of every religion meet up in Bexely to discuss what is happening in their clergy or how they will pull together to solve more global problems.

At this summit you met a lot of people from different walks of life. Some most notable faces are Dragon born brothers who invented a teleportation ring. A friendly Beholder with and armored crown accompanied by many wives. A gnome from the magical city and a lich princess who had her wraiths hand out massive Emeralds to each group.

Turns out that the Emeralds are actually crystal phase spiders intended to kill everyone in their sleep. They have killed one of the people in the temple and attempted to kill two of the party members. The party is now trying to kill the lich princess and her wraiths. You are among the rest of the NPCs. A large group in a large curving hallway being attacked by teleporting spiders the size of basketballs.

You can stay among the mob of NPCs or you can run down a narrow side hallway to join the party in a much larger room.

Any questions?

@Grimsvald

I shall just jump into the to if I may. Thanks for the rundown on the scenario and over read the intro and last few pages. We are in combat I take it?
