Fantasy Cursed Island

Jerry sighed, "Look, kids, I'm retired, I haven't done any thieving since before the twins were born. If you guys really can't get that prince under your control, I'll help, but I can't solve all your problems."

"We know, mom," Siege sighed, "I just wish Roy could have chosen something less like to get us killed to have an adventure over." She glared at her brother as she said that.

Roy looked at Siege. "I didn't know one of our goals would be in the hands of royalty. Or in the hands of a pirate, for that matter."

Emilia spoke up. "We'll do what we can. One of us has got to be persuasive enough."

"Call me again when you know more," Jerry nodded, "But put the mirror face down before you call out for my attention!"

Jerry crossed her arms, "I told you to write, specifically because of how me and your father spend time together."

"More like in each other," Siege muttered.

"I heard that young lady!"

"Writing is, quite frankly, inefficient. I'm pretty sure not a single one of my letters has reached you yet, mostly because I'm still carrying all but the first."

"Well now I've gotta put this damn mirror in another room," Jerry muttered, "Just send them through that."

"Fine. Actually, I may as well do that now, for the ones I have. Not that I wrote anything I haven't already told you."

"Then you don't need to send me anything right now,' Jerry sighed and set the mirror back on its stand on the table, "is there anything else you guys need?"

"Why?", Sinach raised a leathery eyebrow.

"So I can go yell at Emilia's parents, that's why!"

"Good," Jerry disconnected the call and folded the mirror back down. "I don't look old, do I?", she asked Asta.

"So basically, Emilia's a pervert, and we're fucked," Sinach summed up the conversation.

Asta smiled at her. "Of course not. They're just too young."

Katsuo shook his head. "We've learned nothing new..."

Jerry closed her eyes and smiled a bit, "Thank you, honey." She gave Asta a kiss on the cheek before she picked up the mirror on the desk, "How does Roy's room sound, since he insists on interrupting us?", she asked, tail swishing over the floor behind her as she spoke.

Siege groaned, "We can't do this in a day unless we get really lucky." She looked to the other two girls, "One of us needs to get close to the prince."

"You are the one who swore up and down you could flirt your way to a dragonstone," Sinach reminded Siege.

Asta nodded. "As long as someone can notice when he calls."

Roy shook his head. "I don't envy you three with this task."

Nidia spoke up. "We have to get close fast, but if we come on too strong it'll push him away."

Emilia looked at her. "Don't you have some bardic charm spells?"

"Yes. I could charm him into doing anything. As long as I'm singing or playing music all the time around him. As soon as I stop, it wears off and he most likely realizes I just used a charm spell on him."

Jerry smiled and walked off to go install he mirror in Roy's room. Unlike Siege's disaster of a room that not even Nyah was brave enough to try and clean for more than a few minutes at a time, Roy's room was clean and organized, if a bit packed with bookshelves. With the mirror installed, she immediately dialed Erina and Adran's. "Erina!"

"Ugh," Siege held out her hands, "Someone hand me some straw."

"Already there," Jalin handed over some sticks. Siege snapped them into diffferent lengths, hid the lengths in her fist.

"Emilia, Nidia, we're all gonna cover our eyes, and you two are gonna draw a stick. Whoever's got the shortest stick is the one that's gonna work the prince. We clear?" Once she got a bunch of "yeahs" and "Sounds goods", the three girls covered their eyes and drew a stick.

"Ready? Three, two one, blindfolds off," the girls took off their blindfolds to find... Siege was holding the short stick.

Erina happened to be walking past their mirror with a bundle of fabric when it lit up and Jerry shouted through it. She stopped and looked over before smiling. "Oh, hello, Jerry."

Emilia blinked. "Aw..."

Nidia looked at Siege. "Good luck."

"Erina, I just had a really uncomfortable conversation with your daughter."

"Ugh," Siege groaned, "Alright, fine. But I better not hear a word from any of you if this goes sideways." She was especially looked at the boys when she said that, "It's been a minute since I've had something to smash with my hammer!"

Erina's smile faded a bit as she turned towards the mirror. "Oh?"

Roy held up his hands. "You'll hear no comments from me."

"Yeah," Jerry crossed her arms, "Explain to me why you taught your daughter that it's not only okay to gawk at women while they're sleeping, and that it was okay to call women three times her age attractive? My sons were in the room, they see you as their aunt! Who wants to hear their cousin call their mom sexy?"

"Good," Siege looked back towards the door, "Nidia, Emilia, I need your help." She led them back to the girls' room and explained that she needed to put an outfit together to try and seduce the prince with, and she basically only had regular clothes and her armor.

“Well, you are. Did she use that wording?”

Emilia smiled and put her hands together. “Leave it to me. Any preference?”

"ERINA!" Jerry had to take a breath before she tried to jump through the mirror and throttle her. She pinched the bridge of her nose and reminded herself that half of the old party had one brain to share between them, so they started using other heads. "You missed my point, Erina. Explain to me why you taught your daughter that it was okay to sexually harass her elders? Or anyone?"

"Uh...", Siege looked back at Emilia's spinnerets, "It can't look like a wedding dress."

“Well, harassment is unacceptable, but compliments are fine.”

Emilia nodded as she got out her sewing kit and started spinning her webbing. “Oh, of course. I’ll save that for the event.”

"No, compliments are not fine! How would you like it if you woke up to some kid barely old enough to drink five feet away telling you how attractive you are?"

"I'm not gonna marry him!", Siege protested, "Probably."

“Well, I would be flattered. Before asking why they’re in my house, of course.”

Nidia glanced around. “Wouldn’t be bad, not gonna lie.”

"You're hopeless," Jerry facepalmed. "Where's your husband?"

"Eh...", Siege shrugged, "Until he gets crowned king."
