Reasonable? Maybe, but it's only going to make the situation worse not better. Guys having a flashback to war, some stranger hits him on the head from behind....Yeah won't end well. Lol xD, he's going to take one look at Julius and see the enemy.

Yup more or less, so idk maybe it wasn't so off. He's being paranoid and having flashbacks, and stuff.
