"I guess that could be a possibility, but it was all so, confusing. But I figure the answer will come to be sooner or later," the girl replied softly. Looking at Christian her bright blue eyes blinked for moment as she noticed the sudden change in demeanor. As if he might know something, or trying to hide what he knows. Though the longer she looked at him, the more she could see his worriedness. So, without much hesitation, Delta moved behind the blonde haired boy before wrapping her arms around his torso. A hug. "Don't be scared, everything is just fine, Christian. If there is anything you ever need to get off your chest you can tell me, and I will not judge," Del's voice was gentle and calm when she spoke. Chin propped up on his shoulder blade so that she was looking upwards at him with a smile. Hoping that her efforts would help calm him, even if it was only by a bit.

Christian was still worked up in his own red alert panic mode mind that he froze when he felt Delta embrace him. Suddenly, an overwhelming rush of calm washed over him like waves on a beach. “Uh- I...” he stammered. Christian didn’t know how to respond. She told him he could tell her anything and she wouldn’t judge. He hesitated but eventually kept quiet. His face started to burn up again. This was comforting. He looked at Del for moment before a glint in his eyes passed subtly. No way Christian was gonna let this happen to him. This was the first day of school. Del already heard the demons. He was already making a fool of himself... catching feelings for her. This was not the plan. Christian was supposed to go with the flow, floating through this school to get a better grip on his powers and that’s it. Go on with life and not have to worry about frightening anyone... and definitely without frightening Del... Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

Delta could feel his sense muscles start to relax as she continued the embrace. But when he looked at her, she saw a tiny shimmer in them before they went back to normal. He said nothing, he did nothing. Christian was just silently, unmoving. The water manipulator looked away and slowly started to let go. Did she help him? Or just make things worse? Del was unsure of how her actions affected the situation. I guess sooner or later I'll know, she thought to herself. Bright blue eyes gazed towards the left hand side of the hallway they stood in. The door about 10 feet from them adorn the room number that the two of them had been heading for. "There's the classroom. I guess we should be going before we end up late," she told him before making her way towards the door. As she moved around him, her fingers brushed against his hand. A form of attention grabbing so that Chris would know to walk.

Christian’s train of thought was interrupted when he felt Del brush his hand. I guess that means class is starting soon. He felt a pang if regret. Christian looked at Del. She seemed unsure, or maybe disappointed? He wasn’t sure but he was now angry with himself. He did what he needed to do. What he wanted to do so why did he feel bad about it? It was what he thought he wanted at least... Did he really think he could just hide this secret from her forever? Christian thought for a moment. Well... he already went through the trouble of hiding it. He never planned on having to transform into any of his demons so as long as he kept up the act he would be fine. Delta would just forget about the voices eventually. Christian just had to make sure it didn’t happen again. He followed Del into the class and sat down next to her. Ugh, how he hated this... the demons.... couldn’t he just be normal? Couldn’t he just stop over thinking? Couldn’t he just... and so his brain continued to rattle endlessly Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

Sitting down in a desk towards the middle of the room, Delta gazed at the bored. Listening quietly to the teacher as they began to speak and write on the board about the lesson for today. As she sat something tugged at the back of her mind. A feeling that something was not a hundred percent okay. Turning her head she noticed that Christian appeared to be, once again, lost in thought. Instead of the tradition tap on the shoulder, Del had thought up of a different way of pulling the boy back into reality. Leaning over she pulled a water bottle out of her bag that she carried around as an on hand resource for her powers. After unscrewing the cap she placed the bottle on the floor, and moved her hands to her lap under the desk. As she lifted her finger a small ball of water, about as big as a silver dollar, made its way out of the bottle before floating over to the blonde boy. Once there it floated in front of him for a split second. With a swift flick of her finger, the ball of water gently splashed Christian in the face. Then as Delta curled her hand into a fist, the water evaporated. Leaving no trace of it being there.

Christian stared blankly at the wall, his mind still rambling continuously. Suddenly, something like a wet slap hit him and he bolted upright, eyes wide. He put a hand to his cheek. He could’ve sworn it was water but he felt nothing. Christian squinted and slowly turned towards Del. Suddenly, he broke out in a muffled laugh. “You got me,” he said, with a smile. Christian held up a finger and watched it blacken. A small spark zipped from his fingertip as he smiled mischievously. “Don’t make me shock you again,” he said with a chuckle, teasing her by bring his finger close to her. “Dude, seriously, who is she?” Lok suddenly spoke. Christian jumped so fast, the rest of his arm was swiftly engulfed in the same charcoal color as his finger and a bolt of lightning surged from his hand to the lights above him. The sudden flood of power overheated the fuse and the entire room blacked out. There was a moment of deafening silence. “Oooh you really did it this time,” Lok snarked, an obvious snicker following his comment. “Mr. Cara? Is this your doing?” the teacher asked. Christian suddenly stood up. So much for hiding your secret. Without a word, he made his way to the door. “Where you going?” Lok asked. “Oh, just shut up already will ya?” Christian barked back. He held up his hand and sent another surge of electricity at the door, forcing it to swing open. The current wound up and found itself in the power box for the room, lighting the classroom back up again. From down the hallway, Lok answered, “A little harsh don’t ya think?” Christian just kept walking. He’ll come back later and just say he needed to use the bathroom or something. Just give another excuse to salvage the complete freak he just made himself out to be. Who knows what Delta would think of him now. Christian’s arm returned to normal, silencing Lok once again while he continued down the hallway, not taking a single moment, to look back. Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

When Christian turned to look at her she couldn't help but to smile when she heard his laughter, and saw his smile. Happy to see the boy had cheered up and was no longer upset or looking sad. Hearing his comment about shocking her only made quiet laughter escape from her own lips. But it seemed that this moment of joy wasn't going to last. One of the voices from earlier spoke; which in turn, made Delta grow quiet and look at her friend in confusion. Though before she was able to ask him if he had heard it to, he jumped out of his seat with a blackened arm. "Chris-", was all she managed to get out before lightning shot from his hand into the lights above. Then the room was black. Delta couldn't see anything, but she could hear the boy argue with the voice. The door then swung open rather loudly, and she watched the boy swiftly make his exit. After a few minutes the lights came back on. The other students seemed a bit freaked out as they whispered between each other about what just happened. Delta though, was quiet. Rising from her desk she grabbed her bag and made her way to the door, only for the teacher to call out to her, "And where do you think you're going, Miss Easton?" To which Delta simply replied, "I'm going where I need to go. And that is not right here, right now." With that, she left the room.
Though when she made it down the hall it seemed that Christian had already made it far enough down or turned a corner so that she was unable to se him. This caused her to sigh. But she wasn't going to give up, Delta wanted to know if Christian was ok. So, she slipped her phone out of her pocket and slid her earbuds in. Hitting play before putting the phone back in her pocket and started to walk as she sung along with the song. In perfect pitch and in tune. But that was expected from someone who had been taking lessons all her life.

“It may be night here but we have class starting soon back at the school....” standing up as she got off the bike “Hey if anything were to happen to me could you keep Karumi safe? She calls me mom but....I didn’t give birth to her...unlike the other hybrids she was created from my and another’s dna...” getting light headed she fell to one knee holding her chest. Smiling as tears filled her eyes again, she stood up hearing what was going on over a mile away “goodbye Seria” Misako put on a big smile as a .50 cal rifle discharged from over a mile away, the round tearing through Misako’s chest splattering her blood and bits of lung onto the ground. Falling to the ground, a smile on her face still.

Reaching up quickly she grabbed Karumi’s leg. “Bury me will you!” She exclaimed as she pulled Karumi into the snow and pinned her down, growling as her tail wagged rapidly. Leaning down Kiba acted as if she were going to eat Karumi’s ears then started to clean them. “Don’t move you didn’t wash them last night!”

When it happened, she was sort of surprised. She knew about her death, how come she did nothing to avoid it? She looked around before putting up a shield so she wouldn't be shot as well. She took the body inside her place as she tried to revive her using a special healing flame. If it didn't work, then she'd have the burden of raising Karumi. She may even need to ask her Goddess a favor. The Goddess of Inception Natsumi. Or she can just revive her as well, she does have the gift of resurrection. But things like these happen naturally in the world she guessed. She was a bit pissed off as to why Misako was shot. She was also question who was the sniper? She decided to make an ember which transformed into a form that used to be of Seria's. It was her assassination form, and she went by the name of Cinder, entitled dark knight. She used this when she were to kill all corrupt generals before she became the High General in her army. Cinder was tasked with finding the sniper, which was easy. She can tell from the angle Misako was shot and the direction so Cinder was able to pin point exactly and she teleported there quickly. Cinder was only a manifestation of magic so she was able to do these types of things. When she confronted the sniper, she only watched the sniper's actions. And she also watched the sniper's response to her. Meanwhile, Seria was trying to revive Misako using her flames. If it didn't work, she'd call Natsumi to try. However if it didn't, her soul refused resurrection and passed away. Seria wished that she knew before hand so she could block the shot and none of this mess would have happened...

Christian just kept walking. How embarrassing.... he buried his face in his hand as he continued storming down the hallway. He made a right. Then a left. Then a left again. Wait... wasn’t he here already? “Oh for goodness sake!” he yelled, his voice echoing down the hallway but he didn’t care. “All this place does is confuse me. I have no idea where I’m going. I got them talking to me cause they don’t know how to just SHUT. U-...” Christian wasn’t even paying attention to where he was going and by the time he realized it, it was too late. Del was at the opposite end of the hallway. Christian did a complete 180 degree turn and started walking. “Why oh why did she follow me..?” Christian muttered. He rounded the corner. “Payn... could you me a favor?” Christian said quietly. He began to grow, multiple arms growing from his body and his facing becoming skeletal. “Sure thing, boss, what tricks are we playing today?” Payn asked, his voice whispy and silky. “Hide and seek..” Christian replied. By now, Payn was standing where Christian once was at ten feet tall. “Ooh I like that one,” Payn said, reflecting the light from his skin, making him almost completely invisible. “Now who are we-..” Payn froze as he realized a girl had just rounded the corner. He stood perfectly still as he watched her. Hopefully she couldn’t snuff him out. Let’s see if she can beat me at my own game... Payn thought to himself Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

Kale turned and threw their chalk out towards the kids who were being disruptive. The chalk turned into obsidian and splintered off to stab into their desks. "I will throw you out of the windows if you interrupt one more time." They warned. Kale turned back around to write on the board, 'She sells sea shells down by the sea shore.' They then looked at Isabelle, "Please stand and read the sentence on the board." Kale looked at the other students, "Worry not, you will all get your turn." They smirked lightly.

When her singing stopped so did her walking, pulling her phone out of her pocket and turning the music off for a moment. Though when she did that she had missed her one chance of seeing Christian. "Oh where could he be," Delta questioned aloud, voice echoing down the hall. She was worried about him after seeing how frightened he had appeared over his own actions, "I know he didn't mean to do it..." Soon enough she started walking again, but it felt as if she had already searched the entire building for him with no trace. After rounding a corner, Delta once again stopped. Moving closer to the wall before turning and allowing her back to slid down it before her rear made contact with the floor. Unaware that Payn and Christian were literally nearby. In the silence of the hallway, Del hummed. It echoed softly. But it didn't last long, pry an minute or so before she let out a sigh. Looking towards the window she could see the woods in the distance. It was against school policy for students to go out there alone, but. "Did he accidentally wonder off there," she questioned out loud, one could hear her worried tone, "If he did then..." Delta quickly rose to her feet, "I have to go and see if he is there," then without second thought she ran done the hall towards the closest exit.

Payn followed silently after Del. Neither Christian or the demon knew how to leave the building so Del was their best shot. Once they saw the exit in sight Payn sighed, knowing that once he left, the game would be over and he would be gone. Payn’s eyes suddenly widened and he covered his mouth with one of his hands, realizing he had just made a noise. He froze again, waiting to see if Delta’s hearing was keen enough to spell his demise. Kale walked over and grabbed an empty desk, throwing it out the window with ease, smiling at the students the whole time. "One last chance." They warned. "No laughing, no interruptions." They went back to the board. "You did just fine." They told her. Kale began making every other student stand and read sentences from the board.

It echoed through the large empty hall, a noise. Delta stopped and turned around, but there was nothing there. Though there wasn't any mistaking it, she had heard something. "I'm not going mad, I'm not going mad," she murmured to herself softly as her bright blue eyes trained on the space in front of her. Then it hit her. "That's right.. he was able to," Del remembered one of Christian's tricks from earlier by making his hand vanished. So what if he made his entire self invisible. Well, there is only one way to test my theory, she thought to herself. Glancing over she saw a drinking fountain connected to the wall. Raising her hand towards it caused water to start come out of it, a large sum of water. "Please forgive me," she said allowed before throwing her hand in the direction of Payn. The water made contact with something, something incredibly tall and overall large. "There is no trying to hide it now, the water does not lie as it drips off of you. So I demand you reveal yourself to me," Delta said rather demandingly as she tilted her head up towards the hiding head of the figure.

She just smiled as she saw the desk thrown' whoa so strong' she thought as she just watched the other kids read the sentence as she smiled she couldn't wait see her cousin she wanted her english to get better she saw the other kids stopped making fun of her" thank you" she say to her teacher happy about the other kids stopped messing with her she looked at her sheet music but went back to writting notes the vocabually and stuff she wanted to learn english she didn't really speak that well Tetro Tetro

Payn mentally scolded himself while Christian just stayed silent in Payn’s head. “Sigh... the one mistake I could have made... very well... you caught me,” Payn said. He squatted down, his face about a foot away from Delta’s and eye to eye. Slowly, the light stop being reflected, the figure of Payn’s body first distorting the surrounding, then appearing entirely. “Call me Payn. I am one of the demons Christian seems to be so embarrassed about,” he said, his voice ice like and chilling. Payn had no intention of harming Del. In fact, he was more curious than anything at what this girl was all about. “Remind me what it was..? Delta right?” Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

"Yes, my name is Delta. Just like the waterway." Her blue orbs had followed the demon as he crouched and his face was close to hers, and her eyes locked on to where his were to be located. Though Payn's voice caused her to shiver a bit due to how cold it was. But he is only one of the demons Christian seemed to harbor. "So, there are more of you living in him. That means he is a host of some sort I assume," she seemingly rambled off. Delta quickly shook her head, no, this wasn't the time to be getting to know the demon. Not right now anyways. Staring Payn in the eye she let out a soft sigh, "I don't know if he can hear me, but I have something I want Christian to know," Del took a deep breath before speaking again, "What I want him to know is that he doesn't have any reason to be embarrassed about who he is, or you, or any of the other demons living in him. I'm not bothered by you, Payn, or any of the others hiding in him." Her expression started to soften, sadden even, "I'm only bothered by the fact that he kept lying to me. That's all. Please," she gazed at the demon of deception with sad, blue eyes, "If he didn't hear me, could you at least tell him that?" Reaching her hand up, Delta softly rubbed Payn's bony forehead. Hand slipping away she did a 180 so that her eyes were now on the exit. Then quietly, she walked towards it before slipping outside. Del wanted time to think about things, and the best place for that was the school garden.
Coyote Coyote

Payn listened to her words. “Yeah that’s what I told him,” with a tone that seemed to come off as a verbal eye roll. The demon was referring to Delta’s comment about Christian not having to be afraid. Payn quickly became silent again, however, when her hand touched his forehead. The expression on Delta’s face. “Who is this girl...?” Payn muttered to himself as she walked away. He didn’t follow her though. Christian heard everything. And now... he just felt stupid. Payn let Christian take human form again as Del slipped out the door. Should he follow her..? Should he let her be...? Christian shook his head and face palmed. What was he so afraid of? He had been seen. By Delta most of all, that girl he tried so hard and failed so miserably to hide from. Christian decided to follow her outside but when he opened the door, she was no where to be found. “Where could she have gone...” he muttered to himself. He was anxious. Christian felt he owed her something. Del seemed upset because of his lying. Christian started brainstorming ways to find Del. “You know what..?” Christian said, an idea sticking to his head. Christian’s body suddenly turned to an ashen sand. Deep under the ground was now Leviathan. Tremor sense allowed him to sense vibrations in the ground. Now he just needed to listen for footsteps. Tip. Tap. Tip. Tap. From the garden it seemed. Leviathan began to make his way over. One of the perks of transforming into Leviathan was that as long as you were outside, he could be buried under ground and not cause a single sound only to resurface as a human. Nonetheless, Christian was determined to be able to talk to Delta again, so Leviathan sped after her. Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

It took her a few minutes before she got there, but Delta did eventually make it to the garden. With a deep inhale she caught whiff of the different flowers that were found there. The aroma was rather soothing. After exhaling the girl looked around a bit before she found the fountain. She made her way over to it before sitting down on the cool bricks that gave it shape. Her elbows were propped up on her thighs as she allowed her head to hang while being kept up a bit with her palms. This morning up to a few moments ago played in her head. But still, she couldn't figure out why he didn't seem to believe when she said that if he had anything to say she'd listen to without judgement. A sigh escaped her. Delta glanced behind her at the water as it pooled and flowed in the structure that her backside was facing. The girl's blue gaze swept back to the ground under her feet, as she began to hum softly to herself.

{ Devon K Sicarius ~ The Dragonfly }
  • (Location: Crystal River Highschool ~ English Class )(Mood: Nervous )
Never did he expect it to be so...Nostalgic, Devon's strapping physique 'molded' with the luxurious leather seats of the passenger coach as his eyes flickered lazily in the direction of the side window, briefly catching a moment of his attention from the beauty of the Island, seemingly enrapturing him in a blanket of astonishment at the colorful surroundings that it had to offer. Red maples perfectly aligned the gravel pathway where each one brisked by in a swift glimmer as it zoomed past the oncoming bus. This felt like the countryside back in New Jersey, dare he thought with all the similar foliage and saplings growing up out from the fertile soot of the Island. Although the silent rolling of the tires and gorgeous scenery was admirable it was near impossible for him to concentrate with his thoughts being seized by the discouraging thoughts of preceding events that tormented him relentlessly as a child. A hefty exhale drew from his warm lips as he broke his glare away from the window, 'scooching' his bottom across the surface of the seats and leisurely laying his nape against the headrest. "What am I even worrying about?" He asked himself, feeling a bit dismayed by the immediate charge of anguish. Fortunately for him it didn't take too long for his fleeting thoughts to vanish into thin air once his sights become focused on the monumental outline of a structure that materialized a few hundred yards ahead of him, the entirety of the property stretched on for what appeared like miles! Even the crown of the highest buildings pierced the heavenly blue skies like pikes, everything was so massive, how did he not hear of this place until just recently? Devon's brow furrowed upward in amusement once the distance closed between him and the substantial academy, clamorous conversations from the engaging courtyard tickled his ears with curiosity of the mysterious student body that occupied this newfound school of his. Notwithstanding his introvert like behavior, it was still pretty entertaining to think about having a conversation with all these new hybrids. He only imagined what kind of creatures he would meet there, perhaps Lions? Wolves? Maybe even penguins?!

Suddenly his head drew a blank as the screeching halt of the tires echoed throughout the campus, at last the batch of fresh new faces had reached their destination. Students from all around the outside were caught in a momentary trance as the mechanical doors folded open with never before seen individuals from all around the world taking their first step into a seemingly new yet strange world! Devon's lungs tightened after making his first few strides off the steps of the bus and onto the clean sidewalk of the Academy where only after a couple of feet was he was introduced with a blinding flash and a oh-so familiar 'Ting'! From that of a camera "Yes! I got another new one for the yearbook!" A feminine voice squealed out in delight as Devon stared blankly, a bit shocked and confused by what happened, only letting out a soft "Uh.." at the woman before she voiced again. "Oh where are my manners! I'm Juliet, I work for one of the photography groups here! As you're new and everything i'm sure you might be a bit puzzled about where you should be going but fear not! I was told that all of the new guys and gals go straight to English class, it's the building right behind ya silly! Third room on the right! Ya can't miss it!" Juliet energetically replied with a bright smile. She sure was friendly but definitely odd... He couldn't help but awkwardly chuckle at the girl before giving a "Thank you" as he brushed past the twin doors of one of the several buildings where his soles embraced the linoleum floor of the expansive corridor flooded with faces and conversation, an anxious expression formed on Devon's face as he aimlessly wandered through the crowd and quickly into the English room where he was put into the 'spotlight', standing stiffly in front of everyone. "Erm, English class right? I'll uh, just be taking my seat! Nice to meet all of you." He announced with an obvious look of timidness in the whites of his eyes before taking his seat in the front-row, joining the lesson with the others and starting his first day at Crystal River High.

Christian and Leviathan had finally caught up to Delta. He stopped several feet in front of her and took a moment to take a deep breath... underground... a mental deep breath, that’s what it was. He felt a lump in his throat and his face felt broken but his body willed him to surface, as Christian. The first thing he realized was the beautiful garden. The assortment of colors that spanned the entire color spectrum was magnificent. And the music... wait. The music? Christian looked at Del and realized she was humming soothingly. Christian managed a weak smile. “Uh.... hey... you’ve got a beautiful voice..” Christian managed to croak out. He cleared his throat. “Beautiful voice, I mean,” he said a bit clearer just in case she couldn’t catch it. He held up a hand and waved shyly at her. Charcoal_Lilly50 Charcoal_Lilly50

Her head shot up when she heard a familiar voice coming from just a small distance in front of her, humming had ceased as soon as she heard the voice. After his compliment registered in her mind however, Delta's cheeks grew a soft pink. "Oh um, thanks," the girl replied a bit embarrassed. She didn't move from where she sat, but instead continued to gaze at Christian from a distance. Bottom lip forming into a rather pouty frown, "Why did you continue to lie to me instead of telling me the truth? It hurt that you kept lying to my face. I thought that I was going crazy and you only fueled that idea. Payn at least let me know that there is more than him in you." Del continued to gaze at him from afar, "But I would have liked it if I were to have heard it from you directly. Not through a second party."
