Fantasy Crimson Yin: Forbidden Love

"I meant the last thing honestly, What is your opinion of me? Like do you want to murder me or what?" He asked with some confusion as he glowed purple flashing to show anyone nearby that knew him that he was there.

"Murdering the dragon who saved my life just because he didn't choose me over some human is a petty excuse to kill somebody," Nayome said. "As for my opinion of you...it hasn't changed. I don't know you but you seem either foolish or else brave. I can't decide which."

"Ok, So how many questions am I up to?" Aero asked as he continued for three more flashes before landing atop a building.

"I think it's my turn," Nayome said. "What's your favorite color? We'll just trade one question and answer back and forth."

"My favorite color is either purple, or bone white" Aero said as he put a wing down to allow Nayome off of him so he could shift.

Aero shifted back to human form and looked at Nayome, "Would you eat a wolf?" He asked out of curiosity and he wondered what her response would be.

"I like night because it's calming to me" Aero said while looking up to the sky. "Do you ever wish you weren't a dragon?" He asked her kinda dazed from the stars.

"It's not being a dragon I have problems with," Nayome said. "Would you ever abandon your homeland for the human world?" Thinking of how he had said he loved Jewel.

"Motivation...," Nayome said before falling into silence. She couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was going to happen to her but tried to push it off as being outside in the dark messing with her mind.

Aero moved over to Nayome getting closer to her "Are you ok?" He asked her with a genuine worry for her well-being.

Aero put his hands on her shoulders "Nayome tell me what it is so I can try to help you" He said worrying about his friend.

Nayome shook her head, terror now in her blue eyes. "You'll hate me and want nothing to do with me if you find out. And if I'm right...you'll find out...today..."

Aero stuttered for a minute before he hugged Nayome "I'm telling you now I can't hate you. You could slit my throat and watch me bleed to death and I wouldn't hate you" He said telling her the truth as he held her in a hug.

Nayome shivers, trying to think what she can say without revealing her secret. "My father was a rogue dragon and my mother was blind, a dragon slave to humans. My father 'rescued' her and she thought she had fallen in love but it was a lie. He didn't care about my mother, only wanting to continue his line with her. She had a body of sapphires." The ghost of a smile appears on her face as she remembers her mother. "Father was a silver dragon. I was born within the human empire and my parents died when I was two months old, killed by humans. I never knew that dragons had a kingdom." There seems to be more she isn't saying but she tries to push down her fear and worry.

"I'm sorry about your loss from your parents" Aero said as he kept hugging her. His feelings were still there but not as great as before, His heart was a rambled mess and even though he loved Jewel he had strong feelings for Nayome.

Nayome let out a bitter laugh, not sure if this was okay to have friends. Her head hurt just trying to think of it. Something in the back of her mind, maybe the human Jasper, Kai or her own father say he'll just turn on her if her secret is let out and she struggles mentally to push the words away, only serving to give her a headache. "What do you think of humans?" she throws his question from earlier back at him in an attempt to try to stop her mental struggle.

"Well humans are interesting, I love Jewel and she's a human but they haven't bothered me" Aero said as he slacked off on the hug so she could back up or move him away if she wanted.

"Would your friend leave for the human world? Do you know why he left?" Why risk leaving when humans hated dragons and dragons hated humans? At least that was what her parents, Jasper and Uncle Kai had said to her often enough.
