"Lover!?" Aero said with confusion as he fell backwards before getting up. "Nayome isn't my lover, I found her in the ruins and we took her to the castle to get well. Storm started rumors about her being my lover even though we're just now becoming friends" He said defending the truth behind the matter and feeling something in his mind say Told you so with a smug expression. He started to feel confused and his blush quickly vanished as he started to think about what would happen to him if he did something to set them both off.


A picture of him being ripped apart by Nayome as a dragon while his bits were cut apart by Jewel Crossed his mind and his eyes reflected some terror.

Jewel stood a distances away from Aero, it didn't seem like he was lying but it was better to know the truth now. "Than.. what.. are your feelings towards Nayomi?" Jewel paused so he'd be able to answer but the silenced was quickly broken by another question that popped into her mind, "What are your feeling towards.. me? Do you have feelings for me?"

Aero felt a strong blush consume his face, this was the question he dread but he knew he would have to answer her honestly or be hated. He sighed before looking at her "My feelings towards Nayome are like friends, or at least I hope we can become friends" He said before pausing as he let his heart take the rest. "Jewel I like you, not in a friend way but... I like you more than a friend... I Love you!" He said as he realized the feeling he had for her this entire time was love, He felt something warm touch his shoulder but nothing was there. Dad? He thought as the warmth dissipated from his arm into seemingly nothing, Thank you for your guidance and help mom next ok? He asked mentally in hopes his father received the message.

Jewel's expression softened to a one of happiness but also remorse, "I'm stupid. I'm sorry for putting you in this position. I.. I.." Was what she felt love? Jewel couldn't find the heart to say it back, love was too great of a word to use. Running into his arms, Jewel gave him a rather long and close hug. "I'm sorry.." Her words muffled by his chest.

"I was going to tell you soon anyway" Aero said as he held her near him his heart thumping quickly from what he just admitted. He felt happy but at the same time he didn't know what she was going to say next which worried him. She probably doesn't feel the same this is just to show that she pities you, don't get your hopes up Aero The voice in his head said as he felt his mind saddening but tried his best not to show it even though it was visible in his eyes.

Looking up at Aero as he held her, Jewel gave him a warm smile. "I'm sorry that I can't say it back but it's not because I feel something for you.. It's just because I don't know what love is. Just give me some time.. and I'll get back to you on my answer.." Just from the looks of it, Jewel could already tell he was disappointed by his expression and the way his eyes dimmed a bit. ".. just a little time.. okay?"

Aero nodded while looking down at her his eyes changing as he focused on his idea before. His heartbeat returned to normal slowly as he thought about why he came out here but he couldn't remember for his life. An uneasy surge of something washed over him as he remembered his mother and something else.

Taking a step back from the hug, Jewel's hands locked with Aero's, she saw the sudden change of expression on his face. "But well.. speaking of Mena and Storm, where is Storm? Isn't he normally with you? And how come you're out here so late at night?" Asking questions hoping that it would lighten the mood since it seemed so tense.

Aero's memory sparked and he looked at Jewel his recognition sparking as he did. "Thats what it was... Storm" He muttered as his breath shortened and he remembered the note in his pocket. He felt a pulse jump through his body as his eyes showed a devotion. "Storm ran away, I came out here to find him" He said to her as his hands twitched from the memory.

Looking at Aero with a sudden worry in her eyes, she quickly let go of his hands, "Go! Go find him quickly before something bad turns up!" Giving him a quick and unexpected peck on the cheek, she gave him a warm smile, letting go of his hands. Jumping on Knight in a swift motion, "I'll look for him on the ground, I'll go to the villages to see if anyone has seen him anywhere... Good luck." She spoke confidently, as if they'd defiantly find him.

Aero smiled "Ok, Jewel" He said before running and shifting transforming into a dragon and swooping down to pick up Nayome and Zero before flying off towards the ruins.

Storm flew above the clouds to stay out of sight of the dragon Hunter and humans. He didn't know Kai was a dragon and so didn't know that he was being followed. His only thoughts were on reaching the ruins and maybe talking to Mena if she were there. @Azula Cross


Jasper looked at his daughter as she spoke of the wasteland being more like a desert. "It was either this or the Brevun Down and there's too many predators in the Brevun Down," Jasper said. "This was also somewhat closer to the heart of the republic," though he had explained all this before when Star had asked him when she was younger. "You're probably right. It would be a hindrance if they split off from me and took the dragons with them." He watched the little Comet fly to his head and rolled his eyes at his daughter as she took it. "Fine. I trust you can keep track of things in my absence for a while," Jasper said getting up. "I'll leave Guards and Messengers outside to assist you should you need to issue any orders. Send a messenger to alert me if someone who is an enemy of ours finds the headquarters." He hugged his daughter and left the throne room, issuing some of his Elite Guards, regular Guards and three Messengers outside the throne room, giving instructions to follow Star and protect her before going to his own chambers and going to sleep. @Yonsisac


Nayome snorted in derision at being Aero's lover though in the back of her mind repeats the words of her uncle, telling her nobody would want her if they knew she was the niece to Kai and the daughter of a rogue dragon. At least it is warmer here than in Brevun Down, she thinks to herself. Though Afoss Wasteland isn't much better, trying not to think of being found and taken back there to where she grew up. Hissing as she was picked up and set back on Aero before he took off to the ruins. @ScaraByte

"Nayome are you ok?" Aero asked her as he looked at her and flew closing in on the ruins quickly. His eyes still had a purple and the moonlight aided in their glow.

"Just thinking," Nayome said as she shook her to try to rid herself of thoughts of her home life. "So...what about those four other questions you can ask me?"

Taking off on Knight, Jewel traveled from town to town, looking for Storm. Arriving in Mo-Veil Town, she began asking around until an old women recognized who she was describing. She said the young man was in the hospital along side with another young man and young women but that was the last place she saw them. The hospital wasn't any help once she arrive there, they said he had already left. "Damn it..!" Jewel cursed under her breath until she realized how late it was, I need to check up with Mena so I know she hasn't snuck out again.


Getting on Knight again, she raced back to the castle. Within about an hour, she finally got home and rushed up the steps to the princess's room. Knocking on the door in a rather impatient manner, Jewel waited in front of the door, tapping her foot on the echoing ground. "My lady, are you in there?"

Kai followed the prince heading to the ruins. He must stay low so the prince won't see him. Kai flew low enough and kept his distance. He must also prepare to transform into human form in case she met the princess or the hunter again, he couldn't blow up his identity.

I'm a dragon, not deaf was what she wanted to say. "I did," she said. "Most of it anyway. About you loving her, her thinking I was your lover which is ridiculous, your friend Storm starting the rumors about us..."


Storm continued towards the ruins, Mena's form on the grass and then flashing to when they were trapped in the pit together at the forefront of his mind. Again he felt that confusion at why he would be obsessing over a human instead of a dragon. It didn't make sense to him. He then wondered if Aero had gotten his message about staying away from the ruins and looking for a new home for their race if the winter got bad. @Azula Cross @Mena

"I guess you must dislike me" Aero said as he thought about storm and went faster until he could see the ruins Roaring out to them as he neared.

"I just hope you know what you are in for and aren't hurt," Nayome said honestly. "Next question."

"Thank you for caring about me, as for the next question What is your opinion towards humans?" He asked as he kept looking around for Storm while he hovered over the ruins.

"Vicious, selfish, egotistical, paranoid slave drivers. But I wish that they could just not fight each other and live in peace."

"Interesting view, Do you have someone special or someone you like out there?" He asked curious since he now knew that Nayome knew Aero had feelings for Jewel.

Nayome winched and shook her head, winching slightly at the loud roar. "No nobody." Nobody would want you anyway, she added in her thoughts.

"Well any guy would be lucky to have you" Aero said with a smile that showed he was speaking the truth in his eyes.
