"He left because his parents didn't listen to him, and for a girl" Aero said smiling and looking at the sky since he knew what it was like to be enchanted by a human girl.

Nayome nodded, not really understanding how that would work out. "Ask away," she said. Surprised he didn't ask more about her childhood.

Aero moved away separating them a little bit before pondering. He looked at the sky and thought of Jewel before giving up and shrugging.

 

[Mena]

After seeing Jewel come home, I jumped up then took her to her room. "Jeesh, you tell me not to sneak out but you do? That is really unfair." I pouted as I shut the door behind me. Sasha had jumped on the bed, making herself at home as usual.

Nayome shrugged and stared out over the ruins, her blue eyes glowing as she had her night vision on.


Storm had flown for a long time to get to the ruins, staying over the human territory and not going anywhere near his future kingdom. The dragon angled his direction a little to rest near Falling River Town, a town that was separated in two by a waterfall and a bridge spanning the falls. It was starting to get more light out so he alighted a short distance away and landed upon the ground near the river that circled a large circular island where the river circled around the island and then flowed down over the falls. He shifted into his human form and walked to the river before crouching and cupping his hands into the water, bring them up to drink. Never had he heard of humans building a town on top of a watefall. @Azula Cross

Walking into Mena's room, she simply smirked at her statement. "For your information, I don't have any restrictions for going out so I didn't actually sneak out technically. But you're right, that was unfair of me." Jewel suddenly paused remembering why she came back to the castle, "My lady, please tell me you know where Storm would be or where he is." She asked a little bit worried and rushed this time.

 

[Mena]

"Storm, no I haven't seen him around since last night. Why, is something going on?" I asked concerned about Storm. 'Somehow, I have a bad feeling about this.' I thought, staring at Jewel, waiting for her answer.

Aero shifted back to dragon form and flew back to the sky flashing his purple 'searchlight'. "Storm I swear if you did something more foolish than we did when we were kids" He muttered while his eyes looked at Nayome who seemed to be looking for something.

Nayome shifted, pacing restlessly on the roof of the building, eyes never leaving the ground below her and worry gnawing at her stomach. The dark was making her uneasy along with her fear that something was going to happen to her though she couldn't put a claw on why that was.

 

[Defective Kitten]

"Storm.. He went missing. Aero's looking for him right now and I said I would help. I need to go." Jewel spoke, rushing out of the room, slamming the door behind her. I hope the princess doesn't act stubborn and give me the puppy dog eyes and asks if she can come along, I don't want to put her in danger..

 

[Mena]

I watched her stand up then run out the door, I was still processing what she told me. 'Storm...went missing because of me, didn't he? I did say some hurtful things to him last night, but I didn't think or would think he would just up and disappear.' I thought, petting Sasha over and over again. "If I leave now, Jewel will get mad at me again but I'm still worried. Sasha what do you think I should do?" I asked my wolf pup. She barked back then wagged her tail, probably thinking the exact same thing.


I grabbed my spare hood in the closet and put it on, this time making sure my white hair is tucked under it. I grabbed Sasha then looked out, the window to see Jewel riding off to somewhere, so I waited until she was gone to take off. Once she was out of sight, I took off flying in the direction of the ruins.

Jewel traveled a few more distances on Knight, forgetting that she was even exhausted a few hours ago. Town to town until she reached Falling River Town where she caught a glimpse of something flying in the air and landing somewhere. The object was too big for any normal bird, ".. dragon..!" She mumbled excitably, "Come on Knight, I think I found him. He better not move."


Having to not only cross the bridge but go through the barely awakening town and around the wall, Jewel wasted time due to not being able fly over the tall walls. Once outside the walls, she no longer saw anything large or anything to caught her eye. ".. bloody hell..!" Cursing under her breath, taking a quick scan until she saw a human figure hunching down by the river bank on the circular island a little north of the town.

"ah, so I assume you live in the Afoss Wastelands then...yes? The coloration suggests it, anyway..." she jots down a couple more notes before looking back up "His name is Shahe, and he is my companion." she runs her hand through the sleeping cat's fur before adding, "I'm surprised you beasts even know the word "Friend" it seems all you brutes do is eat, destroy, and enslave."

"That is all you think of us? as...Monsters? You never Thought of us as normal people? we have lives...we have children..Families and all we do is survive You humans! we might be big wen we turn but we are like the rest! With feelings! You dont know how is like to be a Dragon,You only think of us as monsters because you have never seen the other side!.....Fine think of us like that....im a "Brute"...I do "Enslave" think whatever you whant.....But i know what we are,i know how it feels to be a "Monster" Like you call us"she said slightly loud Tone and angry,she wont accept this,they dont know anything of being a dragon...nothing...They dont know how it feels being hunted,they just think without walking in others Feet and knowing what they pass through...and this Human was one of them.

Arwynn's gaze turned furious as she heard the reply, it had struck her on the weakest link of her resolve, the one question she could never face herself to answer. She looked at Akata, and answered without hesitation, "oh how isn't it ironic," she said with a snort, "that whenever we humans discover how to kill you and rebel from generations of tyranny- of FEAR, that the mighty dragon begs for equality; of peace!? Hmmph, the hunter has now become the hunted; and only then does the hunter ask for forgiveness!"

"Im not asking for Forgiveness...Im just puting in your minde how we suffer aswell the same way! This is not a game of the Hunter and the Hunted! this is a game of chess!......Im done with you...."she said as she would Look away from the Human as she manage to move her head slightly,she would close her eyes and sigh....wen will death take her? how long mut she wait to be dead?...she sigh and swallow but cough out small bits of blood,"pleas.....end the suffering"she whisperd to herself silently that the human could not hear her....she just whants to go back to the castle and rest...Jasber is gona kill her anyway for failing and aswell being weak and being defeated by humans

She grumbled as she rested her head on her knees, curling into a ball against the creeping chill. She didn't want to look at the dragon, nor the fire which was the symbol of her kind, so she glared up at the starry heavens. -hmmph, if there are any gods, they are either dead or ignorant... no powerful being would simply watch their creation fall to such chaos- she though angrily to herself, cursing the false gods. As hard as she tried, her thoughts returned to the dragon's words -bah! I don't know what it is to be a monster!? You don't have to look like one to be considered one!- she thought bitterly

Akata would remain laying there,She sigh as she close her eyes and go to sleep...But rather more go unconcius,she soon was out cold as she needed to atleast get some rest from this day and get ready,her wound was still bleeding but atleast the pain was slightly gone and could sleep atleat....

Shahe looked up at Arwynn expectantly, and nudged her hand with a growl. "What do you want?" she would mutter as she looked at the great cat. He would look at the now unconscious Akata and give a soft mew as he looked back at Arwynn like she should do something - the nerve of such a creature! "no, i'm not going to." she would growl, her breath forming clouds of moisture, the night had turned out to be colder than she had anticipated, "dragons are known for their heightened temperature, she'll survive" but she doubted her own words.


With a growl Shahe would clamp his jaws on her arm, although not hard enough to hurt her. She shook her arm free from the cat's jaws with a frown -what is wrong with that beast?- she thought as she got up.


Careful not to wake the sleeping/unconscious Akata, Arwynn would add some of her ointment to the dragon's stab wound before dropping her cloak on top of her broken form.


As she made her way back to her spot around the fire, she would glance at Shahe, the cat almost smirking smugly, "you take this to your grave -got it?"

Akata gave a silent grown feeling slight Burn on her neck but dint wake up,she just laid there sleeping,feeling the cloak on her she just laid there but slightly took herself in in warmth.....she dint know what was happening neather who did it but she seem to be well for it,her wound stop bleeding and was slowli healing,maybe tomorrow she would be abble to raise herself and not hurt herself and bleed....but how would she react wen she discoverd the Human help her?

Storm drank a little more water before getting to his feet and shifting back into his dragon form. Carefully putting his paw on the ground, he tested how much weight he could put on his mended foreleg without being in pain before walking around a little, picking up his foot and putting it down again by putting more pressure on his leg. Lowering his muzzle to the river, snagged up a fish from the river that was swimming by and jumped up into the air before flying off to the ruins again. For some strange reason he got the feeling that Mena might be in trouble.

Kai stopped as he saw the prince drank a little water and snagged up a fish, still maintaining his distance, Kai took a rest for awhile too. Kai then continued following the prince heading to the ruins.


The prince has been away from the castle for quiet a long time, I bet the royals should be worried by now, I need to stay on guard, Kai thought to himself. Slowing his pace when he felt he was too close to the prince.

Storm crunched on the fish as he blew before swallowing it. It wasn't much of a meal but he was rather distracted at the moment and continued flying. It was some time before the black dragon spotted the ruins and let himself search for Mena from the air as well as keeping a wary eye out for the dragon Hunter. Not seeing either of them, he landed on the ground in a different part of the ruins before shifting into his human form. @Azula Cross @Mena

Jewel watch as Storm transformed and flew away, "Wait..!" She shouted but her effort went to waste, it wasn't like he could hear her anyways, he was already too far. Making Knight rear himself before turning around, Jewel tried to stay right on Storm's tail. He was fast, but not only that be he could just fly over obstacles such as walls and water.


Before she could even know it, Storm's figure had disappeared into the distance and he was no where left to be found. "Damn it!" Shouting angrily at her incompetence, "We should still follow the direction he went though. Maybe we'll find him there.." Speaking more or less hopeful. Continuing her sleepless night, soon turning to dawn, Jewel rode Knight to chase after some dragon.


I've spent 3 days and 2 nights without sleep in a mission. I'll be okay...... but those days and nights were when she was actually fully healthy, Jewel isn't exactly in tiptop shape at the moment.

Storm felt his mended arm and began walking around to look for Mena. He wasn't even sure if she would be here and had no idea that his mother was looking for him along with Aero and the dragon Nayome they had found within the ruins. "Mena!" he shouted as he began walking in a random direction. Probably fell into another trap if she is even here. Then again why would she be? he thought to himself. From the air it looked like the ruins were big and so he knew it would be a while before he managed to find her if she was here. It would also be easy for him to get lost as well. @Mena @Azula Cross
