The vast ocean, a place where every man is to his own. There is no police here no lord or kings, you can do what ever you want here, and as long as you never come back inland you will probably get away with it to. But the ocean is also a very dark place most don't survive a year at sea, and yet there those who chose to spend most of their life here. There those who chose to try and bring some kind of order into the chaos of the ocean, they still serve their lords and kings even though they are so far away and have no eye to watch over them and keep them loyal. There those who chose to trade they buy goods from one point transport it to another and sell it for profit, and there those who chose to take those goods from them and more often than not take them as well.

There is a reason why most don't want females on their ships, we are that reason.
An unknown pirate

John Rightfall-Crimson Lotus's ship

John was siting in his quarters, he ordered one of the cabin boys to gather all the man as he would like to announce their next target. "I doubt you will get much out of this raid" His pistol said, John was looking at the map he was given by one of his informants "Its close and easy, its a small gain but we probably not even going to get a scratch from it. A small gain is better than no gain wouldn't you agree?" The pistol didn't respond, John was right after all and there was nothing else to be said.

John took a last sip out of his rum lighted his cigarette and walked out, it was early in the morning the sun was barely out. All the men and women were gathered around waiting for their captain to tell them their next target. A small table was placed between him and the men, he walked over the table and placed a piece of newsletter he pulled from his front left jacket pocket.

Grazaa Islands looking for men, all able bodies are to report to their lord or king and recruited into service, not doing so will result in imprisonment

All outsiders are welcome to apply into mercenary service.

John was quiet for a few seconds allowing every one to read the piece of paper he put on the table, well those who were able to read anyway. "Grazza Island is three hours away from here, they are weak and by the look of it understaffed as well." John said with an evil smirk on his face and then pulled another piece of rolled paper out of his inner jacket pocket, he unrolled it over the table and let every one see it, It was the map of Grazza's main island.

John bent over the table and took a pen that was siting on the table and marked an "X" on the map.

"there is an old and abandonment port over here, we will come from the north, the mountains will hide our ship and we are likely not to be spotted. We will dock at the old port and move over to the town, our main goal would be the bank of course after we secured the bank you can all go and raid each and every house for all I care. But you only get three hours to do so if you are not back at the old port in three hours we leave without you. The kings castle is not too far away from town, I gather it wont take him more than three hours to gather enough man and push us back, we might be able to take them on but we have no reason to, three hours is more than enough to take most of the spoils no need to die for a few extra coins..." John stooped and looked at Gilbert "Not to mention its going to be a full moon tonight, I don't have to tell you what that means right?" John tossed his now finished cigarette over the deck and into the sea. "Alright if there are no questions or... objections, Rose will set the course." John said as he nodded towards Rose, then looked over his crew to see if anyone had any questions or objections. "Like any one is going to object HAHA" John's pistol remarked, no one but John could hear his weapon's talk only other demons or demi-demons can. His sword and pistol are both demons in a form of weapons he took from his old crew as a parting gift before he escaped, no one beside him knew the weapons were demons and no one besides him could wield them anyway. The pistol was the chatty one, the sword usually kept quiet and only talked when it felt it was necessary to do so. "You never know" John said queitly so no one else will hear, as a small smirk found its way onto his face. Most of the crew didn't know about his "friends" The high rankings like Isabella and Rose of course found out pretty quickly as they caught him talking to "himself" a few times and he had to explain or they would think he was crazy.

Chronos - Somewhere North of the Continent

Chronos had a long day of dealing with annoying people, mainly just south of the desert. All he had heard all day and night were the prayers of those whose crops were dying due to a severe drought and a warm front moving from the north west, blowing nothing but harsh, arid air and dust into the villages in its cruel path. It wasn't his fault that they decided to develop an agrarian society next to a desert! So, he ignored their pleas in favor of a balanced climate. It wasn't like he could just take water from the rainforests and distribute them to whoever needed water!

So, Chronos decided to take a break from dealing with the landlocked arid region of that continent to focus on other matters that wouldn't give him such a headache. To be frank, there were other matters near the desert he needed to attend to, but he figured that by what he predicted, they would be fine for a while yet. Gliding over the oceans somewhat near the northern coast of Grazza Island, Chronos felt the wind in his feathers and the morning sun's energy pouring back into his spirit. When he felt revitalized, he resorted to his usual relaxation techniques: flying under the puffiest and darkest rain clouds. Something about the pitter patter of water and the gloomy, dull sky gave him the satisfaction he needed to continue working.

Slowly, yet abnormally fast, the waters of the sky condensed into white, puffy clouds, which in turn built up and condensed even more. Soon after its beginning, the cumulonimbus clouds that had gathered darkened to a very nice jet color, blocking out most of the sun to the waters below. This in turn caused the air to cool, allowing the wind to pick up. As the wind howled and the waves splashed higher and higher against each other, Chronos built up his own anticipation for the beginning of the storm. Once the conditions were just hazardous enough, lightning zapped between two of the clouds, followed by more and more, becoming more regular. The clouds started dripping, letting scattered and irregular raindrops fall from their grasp. Quickly building up, the rain started a torrential downpour, covering the surface of the water with drops every second. With renewed exhilaration, Chronos soared through the storm, enjoying what he could. Lightning started to strike the water, giving Chronos a jolt of pleasure as he continued his flight.

This was the perfect way for the phoenix to relax during his stressful week.

Saki - Currently at Port on Grazaa Islands

Saki was sitting at a table in her quarters, she liked peace and quiet once and a while. Saki had told her crew earlier to be back here before the sun went down, which would be judging by the sun in a couple of hours. She would have joined them but she lied and told them she was feeling under the weather. Saki reached for her coffee, slowly tipping it to her mouth. She first inhaled the smells, savoring the drink and the flavors then gulped the entire glass down. "Ahhhh that hit the spot~!" Saki yelled out, in a gleeful spirit.

"I might as well go into the town and see if I can score us some money." Saki held an amused smile as she rose up from her wooden chair. She placed her glass down then walked over to the dark wooden door. Her red hair softly touched her back as she reached for her weapon and her coat. She folded up her weapon into a small bracelet, using a spell then walked out her quarters. She walked through the hull and onto the front of the ship then to the port. "Time to get moving I wonder who'll come back first me or my crew?" Saki mumbled as she walked into the town.

PRINCESS OPAL- GRAZAA ISLANDS.

Opal smiled smugly to herself, laying on the old port without any distractions. Yet again, she had escaped the grasp of the security guards, and yet again, she found herself in serenity. The sun was warm against her olivey skin and it made small bumps tingle across her flesh. Her naturally, deep plum hair seemingly glittered once it collided with the Suns Ray's. The wooden pier like port she was laying on creaked ominously whenever she made the slightest move, and for some strange reason, she rather enjoyed the sound, as well as the sea lapping at the beach below her.

It was enjoyable for her to be able to escape the grasps of her parents. They were arranging for her to be married right away, and she didn't want to. She felt she were too young, besides, she barely knew the men that would be betrothed to her. For all she knew, they could be evil murderous beasts, and it wasn't worth the risk. Soon enough the people of the palace would realise she was gone, and would begin looking for her, but she couldn't help but enjoy the fact that they most likely wouldn't be able to capture like they had last time.

With a swift blink of her eyes, she watched the clouds above her with wide, emerald eyes. Her eyes themselves looked like sparkling jewels. However, she didn't care for jewels and riches and such, despite how many belonged to her. They were usually gifts her parents and relatives bought competitively to show off who was the richest, and what they could afford. That way of living she really could not understand.

The cool breeze that sweeped across her ever so often sent subtle chills down her back, and a wild smile to her lips. Oh how she loved the old harbour, it was so peaceful and calm. Nothing mattered here, and nothing ever would, as long as it was just her and nature, forever. Maybe she could runaway, maybe it would work. The chances of it happening were slim to none, but she still hoped and prayed for it anyway.

As long as she were allowed moments on her own like this, life would be worth living, that was for sure.

Chronos - Grazaa Island

Chronos had not particularly payed any mind as to where he was going, mainly because he relished the storm far too much. As he pulled the storm to center himself within it, he noticed that he was no longer able to see the turquoise ocean, but rather the neutral grey and brown of the village he had stumbled upon. Chronos cringed, for this kind of weather would simply make the townspeople upset, especially since sudden storms were blamed on him. They weren't particularly wrong, but the rumors still irked him.

He opted to dissipate the storm before anyone caught wind that he was to blame, but it took some time. Unfortunately, it wasn't that easy to just get rid of a perfectly proportioned storm. Fortunately, the air was rather dry compared to the ocean, so the clouds diminished at almost astounding rates. Once the clouds dissipated and made themselves sparse, Chronos relaxed a little. From what he could tell, people were more shocked than angry at the brief storm, which relieved him of the burden of backlash.

At that, he figured it was about time he got back to work anyway, so he casually inspected the general needs, allowances, and predictions for the area, taking into account the previous rainfall. Tweaking the weather just a little, he made it a little more extreme from the average climate because this area was due for some heat. So, Chronos elevated the temperature of the area, careful to blend it in with the sun's intensity and surrounding area temperatures. Thanks to the newly found humidity, this didn't please the townspeople.

Now finished with his work, Chronos made his way to a large sequoia tree outside of the town, flying high so as to not attract attention. The small break atop the tree might ease his fatigue, and perhaps that headache as well. For now, he observed the antics of the town, amused yet annoyed at their trivial qualms.

~~~~~
As for the sailing pirates, Chronos left that area's wind up to the forces of nature, which didn't feel the need to be kind to them. The wind blew due north-northwest from their location, making the process of traveling or docking south a bit of a chore.
Rose - Currently on the Crimson's Lotus Ship
'Huh....where am I?' Rose tried looking around but her head was hurting, she winced in pain. She was in a wet and damp cave, the only sounds that came from the cave were bats. Rose felt searing pain coming from her abdomen region, quite frankly it hurt like hell. She heard chuckling as a girl, no older than 15 approached her , her twisted smile and piercing red eyes was all she saw. "You really were hard to nail ya know, but...I guess its like they say. You're a thrilling challenge, oh wait you were one." She smirked as she brought the scythe down....
Rose sprang out of bed in pure panic, when she heard a knock on her door. She was drenched from head to toe in sweat, her hair was in a tangled up mess. "Y-Yes?" Rose tried making her voice not to waver. The info mate told Rose that she was suppose to meet with everyone in the Captain's quarters. Rose quickly thanked the boy, jumped out her bed, and ran to her small trunk. She pulled out a "small" bucket of water, big enough for her to fit inside. She washed herself then she grabbed her small brush and started to brush her hair until it was smooth enough to be straight.
She slipped her pajamas off her head, then put on her usual attire; she then placed her pajamas onto her bed and headed to the Captain's quarters. Rose walked in just as the Captain was showing everyone the map. She quickly sneaked into the crowd and walked to the table. hearing the Captain explain the mission. The mission seemed simple enough, Rose glanced at the map for the longest, making sure see knew where to go.
The Captain mentioned her name, and she sprang up to see what he wanted. "Yes...sir." Rose replied in a small but quiet voice, as she looked at the captain. Rose examined the map one more time then said in an equally quiet voice, "Head Southwest then North...."
Buras was going to make a killing. The winds were with him, and he was heading right to port. The money he'd make from this run would be spectacular. He had those spices sitting in his cargo hold since Danzen across the ocean. They always paid more when you say it was far away, no matter what quality the actual stuff was in. But the quality did matter, so what little he did buy, only a couple sacks, were kept in pristine condition, sitting atop everything else to keep it away from the rats, the ones the cats missed, and out of any water that might have seeped in since they started the journey. He had a couple other things to sell as well, but the amount they were worth was nothing compared what those spices would bring him.
They had passed a few ships along the way here, but thanks to the sails that he could have folded out at any time, they managed to outrun everything that went after them. He was half tempted to leave them out the whole journey, but they put added strain on the mast, and past experiences told him that sailing with a broken mast was something one did not want to do if they wanted to get anywhere quickly. He also heard from other stops, namely to resupply but also to sell some things for a little bit of extra cash, that Grazaa was hiring mercenaries. There weren't any wars going on, none that the Grazaa were in that he knew of, so odds were they would be mostly a law enforcement kind of thing, going after pirates and the like. Funny, upon occasion he and his crew have turned to piracy to get by. Oh well, he just wouldn't mention that to them when he signs up.
At the nearby siting of incoming boats, Opal sat up, causing the harbour to creak once more. With a stifled sigh, she frowned and looked around, oblivious of what to do next. Who were all these people? This was an abandoned port, so why was every nearby ship attempting to board it? Her whole face lit up with tense fear, and she ran across the wooden panels, the shaking of the port causing her to tumble onto her knees rather abruptly. In shock, she just lay there for a few moments before attempting to run again, and ran to the sharp rocks that she climbed on a daily basis.
However, this time, she rushed and was shaking too much to have gripped onto the rocks properly, so she stood helplessly dragging her hand across the sedimentary rock. The briny smell of the sea sent a nauseating chill into her stomach, and the harsh heat of the sun didn't make the situation any better. Choking on her breath, she made the decision to try and climb anyway, her dress tangling and tearing on the sharp and boiling hot rocks. That was why she remembered she stayed until the evening, the rocks had usually cooled down by then.
John Rightfall-Crimson Lotus ship
John watched as rose gave her directions and the crew was set into motion, every one rushed to their stations and before long the crew started singing as they sailed towards their target. The wind wasn't kind to them as it blew into their face forcing the ship to move in zigzag motion in order to catch some wind and still stay on course. One thing he hated about being a pirate and basically living in the sea is he had no control over the weather, John wanted everything to be perfect and according to plan, the weather often disagreed with his plans, maybe Chronos hated him he thought to himself.
"Land ahead" one of the mate's yelled, five hours have passed since they set the course towards the Grazza islands instead of the three it was suppose to take. "Prepare for docking!" John yelled towards his crew and once again watched as the different crew members rushed to do their job. "Its been a while since I got to shot someone" His pistol remarked, john said nothing he was in the middle of the deck surrounded by his crew, and he had no intention of talking to his pistol in front of them.
It was impossible to dock the ship in the port both because of the weather and because of the poor condition of the port, the crew sat anchor and released the rowboats into the water and began to make there way inland. John took one of the first rowboats out, as they got closer he took his spyglass and scanned the shore and the old port. John spotted a young girl trying to climb the rocks she was shaking probably scared for her life John thought. "She has a very good reason to be scared" The pistol said almost if reading John's mind, but then John noticed something, something very important...Her cloths. She wore a nice and beautiful dress not the kind a simple peasant could ever afford, she was rich or royal, hopefully both. "Faster!" John yelled at the two mates who were paddling "We got our sights on our first prize!" John yelled his evil smirk finding his way onto his face again.
(@Mena @Mine @Jinx @Scattered Ambitions @animegirl20 you all can rp so we all on the same rowboat or a different one your choice)
At the sudden shouting, Opal filled with adrenaline and began climbing the rocks, occasionally falling slightly and scraping her legs or arms across the ragged rocks. It wasn't any use, she wasn't going fast enough, and she didn't acquire the strength to pull herself up at such a speed. Beads of sweat fell down her forehead as the sun burned onto her skin. Everything seemed to be happening so slowly, even her blinking seemed to be at an unnatural speed. Then it occurred to her. Pirates. She had heard many stories about them before, but she thought it was just legends and myths. Yet, here she was, being proven wrong as they called after her.
The rocks burnt her fingers with a slight tingling sensation and she stifled a few screams at the feel. Why was this happening? She chose the wrong day to escape and relax, that was for sure. The sounds that had once soothed her pumped through her mind like angry waves of frustration. All she could do was hope that she could escape. Healthy would be a plus, but she had already cut her legs, so she wasn't sure if that would count. They were gaining on her, her heart was pumping vigorously in her mouth. With a loud gasp, she slipped a little from shaking, and that brought her several feet back down from the rocks. Sharply, she began to scurry back up, her legs bleeding and all.
"No, no, no." She mumbled under her breath, trying to refrain the tears brimming in her eyes. The thought of what would happen scared her, all the tales about pirates she had heard were about them being murderous monsters with a sick hunger for jewels and riches- exactly what she had. Why was it so difficult to stay out of trouble? With a snivel, she continued to try and stay balanced. She couldn't and wouldn't let them mug her. Her stubbornness would help her...Surely? Looking down at them, she noticed the most dominant man with a wicked grin plastered on his face, and a pistol in his hand; this frightened her even more, causing her to choke on air.
Rose - Currently on the Crimson Lotus
Rose walked out onto the front of the boat, watching everyone do their role. It was almost like a factory, everyone had something to do and somewhere to be...except her. Rose didn't exactly know where to she would go after her career as a pirate was over, after all she didn't have anyone nor any family to be with. Rose was watching the sea, as it softly rocked the boat to assure her everything was going to be alright. Rose secretly could talk with the sea even feel what the sea was thinking, emotions basically. Rose suddenly without warning was surprised as everyone started to rush off somewhere, their loud yells made her jump.Rose was literally pushed onto a boat when everyone was racing to find a boat because they saw land.
Rose just didn't get why everyone would be so happy to see land, and she guess she would never understand as well. The Captain saw something through his spyglass and motioned the rower to speed up. Rose was on the same boat as the Captain, hanging on for dear life as the person rowing sped up. Rose couldn't handle fast boats, maybe she had motion sickness but then again....shouldn't she be throwing up on the boat while it rocked? Rose looked like she was literally about to die, she cant take anything fast. She could have sworn her face started to become a light green, as her head started swaying back and forth. 'Will this ever end?!' Rose thought as she got even more sick, tilting her head over the boat.
John Rightfall- Old port Grazza islands
John looked around him and saw Rose clearly feeling sick, he wondered why she was used to being on boats they spend most of the time in the sea and she never showed any signs of sea sickness. He felt sorry for her but he couldn't slow down the boat or else the girl might get away, with her not only how much money she could bring but also the element of surprise which would make raiding the town when they get there a lot harder "Hang in there Rose we are almost at the shore, and stay behind me at all times" John said looking through his spyglass again watching the girl trying to climb up the rocks and slipping down again and again he started to feel sorry for that girl as well now, as he could see the blood dripping from her legs as she tried so desperately to escape.
The boat finally reached the shore John got off it first walking towards the young girl who was still trying to escape, then pulling his pistol he shouted "I would come down if I were you" the evil smirk once again on his face, he started to worry it might get stuck there.
(this might be my last post for tonight maybe I will make another one after this not sure yet)
Choronos - Grazaa Island
Chronos, by now, had moved around to try to find something interesting. He did finish his weather assessment early after all, so he could afford the small delay. The heat bothered him almost none mainly because he was basically always on fire. It was on his search that he noticed that there were far too many pirates for this to be a normal day. He perched himself atop a tree, positioning himself so the townsfolk wouldn't see him. As for the people at the harbor, he didn't mind since he was pretty much directly between them and the sun, which crested above the tree's spire.
He liked to spend some of his time assessing just how weird humans could be. This scene was no exception. Chronos couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on, but then again he never understood what humans did. Settling in, he wondered where he was due next; probably the southeast portion of the island. It wasn't that far, so he allowed himself some more time to try to figure out what they were doing. While he was idle, the flames surrounding his body died down to a low simmer, allowing him to look almost like a normal bird, though one with unusually vibrant colors of red, orange, and yellow. He expected no one to see him, especially since they were occupied.
Opal winced as a man told her to climb down, and she tried, but she was frozen to the spot. As she looked down, she winced and covered her eyes, her face also turning a little and pale green. Using her hands to support her on the wall, she allowed her lips to quiver, and a few stray tears to roll down her face. As she turned to look again, there was that smile. That smile that made her insides melt with fear, and her mind fizzle with frustration. There seemed to be a whole ship, and they seemed rough and tough, just like the tales. Her tears pattered on the rocks below her as she reluctantly scrambled down to the sandy floor and when she got there, she stood as far away as possible and shook violently. Never had she ever experienced an event so traumatising, and all that had happened was the man asked her to get down and began to pull out his pistol.
Spotting an unusually sharp rock near her bare feet, she picked it up, grasping it by the bluntest end and holding it tightly. At least now she had some means of protection, even if she didn't know how to efficiently use a weapon. She was only about 5'4, so felt completely useless as these people towered over her from a distance. Maybe they weren't of much harm, but they seemed to want to hurt her in some way. She grimaced as she prepared herself for whatever was going to occur next. The air was even tenser than before, and she looked completely out of place holding a weapon in hand, and shaking like she were wearing just underwear in a snowstorm. Her lips were also quivering, and she was trying to best to prevent the tears pricking her eyes with force from tumbling down her face. She didn't want to show weakness.
Rose - Currently on a small ship to Grazza Island
When the motion sickness had gotten worse, the sea tried swaying back and forth, like a mother swaying a new born baby. Rose shifted to the other side of the boat, she was cringing for the longest of time. The captain gave her a sign of reassurance even though, he was still focused on a goal. Rose meekly replied by groaning, her face was still looking like she was green.
Rose wished that the ride would be over already. Rose thanked god when the boat went ashore, she eagerly ran off the boat. At a nearby tree, she bent down and collected her breathe as the Captain walked up to the rock. Rose's face quickly changed from light green to her normal pink color as she walked over to the Captain. "Thanks....sir.." She barely whispered since she was such out of breathe.
John Rightfall- Old port Grazza islands
John looked over to Rose as she ran towards one of the nearby trees, and return he nodded at her when she thanked him "Felling better now?" he asked. Then watched patiently as the young girl made her way back down, she was shaking and he could see that she was crying, he couldn't blame her this must be the single scariest moment of her sheltered life. He was a little surprised when he saw her picking up a rock, he tried to hold his laughter as the rock will do her no good against any of his crew and certainty not against him. He could see she was trying hard to hold her self together and failing to do so quite miserably "Relax I wont harm you. now why don't you drop that stone not like you can do anything with it anyway." John smirk grew a bit as he said those words "Whats your name? and what does someone like you doing in this place?" John asked hoping she is a rich noble of some sort that can bring good value. "This is boring cant we just shot her and continue to raid the town?" John's pistol growing impatient said, the answer was clear John didn't even needed to react, this girl might bring them more money then what the town has to offer the delay is worth it. John looked up towards the sun trying to see its position to determine how much time they had before night fall, it was a full moon tonight and he didn't want to deal with the full moon in here. He watched the sun and figured it was around two maybe three o'clock meaning he might have to shorten the raid time to two hours, his crew might not like that very much but still he thought this girl will be worth it. John saw a bird siting on a tree that was right between him and the sun, he couldn't make much of the bird because of the sun rays hitting his eyes but he could swear it was watching him almost like it was studying him, but he payed it no mind and returned his gaze towards the young girl still holding the stone in her hands.
Opal trembled at his words, allowing the stone to plummet from her grasp. After contemplating on whether she should or shouldn't, she spoke her name. "O-Opal Lynfer." She mumbled, allowing her deep plum hair to shine in the boiling sun. Her gaze never fell from the two in front of her, locked on them with fear and curiosity. Then, she added, "I-i like it here," with a snivel, she bit the inside of her lip. Her attitude showed that she seemed innocent, and oblivious to everything.
Closing her eyes momentarily, she allowed herself to mentally break down. Pirates were known to be ruthless criminals, with a taste for blood as well as riches. And, here she was, in the midst of their territory. Although told she wasn't going to be hurt, she couldn't help but continue to cry a little. If they stole her clothes, she wasn't sure what she'd do. Nor would she know what to do if they began to torture her and what not. In her mouth, she chewed on her heart, her expression too readable, and too predictable.
She was just scared, and couldn't help that. With such little experience of the outside world, she didn't know how to keep safe, or what to expect from others. The sun still scorched through her skin.
(Sorry for short reply, it's really late and I'm really tired.)
Rose - Old Port at Grazza Island
Rose was amazed at the Captain for actually asking about her well being. Usually he was at most times quite cruel, which made Rose tend to avoid him If possible. Rose said in a quite tone, "How come you asked me to stay behind you?" Rose tried to sound confident In her own abilities In trying to prove herself to the Captain. Rose looked at the Captain as he tried to reassure the girl on the rock.
Chronos - Grazaa Island
Chronos was having a hard time seeing what was happening with the girl on the rocks because his angle was a bit off. So, naturally, he opted to move to a better location to see the whole thing better. With a majestic flap of his wings and re-ignition of his fire, he took off, heading for the mast of the nearby ship only because it had a better angle. Thankfully, Chronos was a bird, so his eyesight was fairly exceptional. Perching atop the mast, inevitably flaming because of the sun's intense power, he continued to watch those on the shore. He didn't pay much mind to the fact that he was on a pirate ship because, well, he kind of just assumed that he could get away with it. What were they going to do, anyway? Nothing, that's what.
John Rightfall-Old port, Grazza island
John hearing Rose question him flinch a bit it was a small flinched which he thought no one noticed, he didn't like when people questioned him, then he thought about it himself he wasn't really thinking when he said that he just kinda did. "Because you were not feeling well" He finally said both to Rose and to himself to be honest. He turned his attention towards Opal her last name "Lynfer" sounded familiar he tried to remember from where, then it hit him Lynfer was the royal family of Grazza. He found the princess, John couldn't help himself but to laugh his luck might not be so bad after all. John turned to Rose "Tie her up and make sure she is not harmed, do not let her leave your sight. We got our self a princess over here!" He declared then turned back to Opal "I promise we are not going to hurt you, we simply wish to take you to meet your parents. Of course considering our... profession we have to take precautions so we will have to tie you up, do not worry we will not harm a royal princess" John's smirk became as wide as it possibly could as he made a half bow.
As John rose up from his bow he saw the bird he saw earlier fly over towards his ship and sat on top of one of his ship's masts, John could not believe his eyes for a second there as he saw the bird light up in flames as it flew. John shock quickly faded and turned into an annoying look, there was a giant bird on fire on top of one of his wooden masts with fabric sails attached to it. John heard the stories of Chronos a bird that instead of feathers is covered in fire and controls the weather, he didn't believe them to be true but how could he deny what his eyes can clearly see. John thought for a second what to do, even a demon wouldn't be stupid enough to try and fight Chronos, let alone a simple demi-demon. The ship was far, far enough that no human could hear anything from the shore but maybe Chronos could? John asked himself. "Would you mind not setting my ship on fire!..." John thought about how he should address Chronos but in the end decided to leave it at that, he hoped Chronos was able to hear him but he opted to wave his arms as well just in case, since Chronos could clearly see them. He felt stupid but what other option did he have? he wasn't about to anger the creature who controls the weather, pirates are very reliant on it as much as John hated that.
Buras and his crew had a much easier time docking, and made it to the island much faster then the Crimson Lotus, so he had absolutely no idea what was going on. He was to busy wringing the merchants of as many gold pieces as he could get without them calling for their guards and ordering them to throw him out while they keep the goods. He would be able to take them, of course, but having a reputation of killing merchant's guards was not a good one to have when dealing with merchants. It was bad policy, and lead to merchants not wanting anything to do with you.
Luckily for him, he had indeed made a killing by selling those spices. A chest full of gold pieces for each sack, currency good anywhere and a lot of it. He could repair the Sea's Treasure several times over with the amount he made with that sale alone, but his greed pushed him onward to sell everything else. The cotton had gained him several bags of silver, as well as the grain, and a majority of the rest of the goods actually. But it was nothing to scoff at. Several bags of silver can be turned into a couple bags of gold in no time.
Rose - Old Port: Grazza
Rose uprutly almost gasped at the Captain, this was a new sign for her that he actual might care about his crew mates. Of course, the captain will probably think that will be a sign of weakness but Rose didn't care. Rose was snapped out of her mind, when the captain asked the impossible of her. Rose's mind was about to faint from the blank stupidity the captain just asked her to do. Tie her up? Remember the last time, she tied someone up...? Let's just say....it didn't end well...at all. Rose really didnt wanted to do the exact same thing that got her In hell-a trouble last time from the Captain. Rose just quietly sighed and looked away towards the path up head.
Opal grimaced at the thought of being tied up, and she mumbled. "If anyone touches me, I will...I will...." She paused, unsure of what to say in a threatening manner. After All, they were pirates. Everything they would do on a day to day basis was worse than any threat she could ever conjure up. "Please don't tie me." She sniffed, "I promise I won't run, you have my word." Her voice was soft and innocent as she spoke, almost too calm for the current situation, but she wasn't too sure herself what was really happening. When he mentioned taking her back to her parents, she vigorously shook her head, a large pout pushing her lips out. There was no way on earth she would go back there, and with these pirates....She would surely be treated with pure disregard and disrespect. "No, please don't take me back there. Please?" She asked, her eyes widening as several means of punishment flew through her mind. Maybe her father would use the whip to scold her, or the cane. Either way, she would be physically disciplined and scolded. The thought made her wince, and every so often she flinched too.
Chronos - The Crimson Lotus
Chronos blinked, not particularly caring what the man had to say. Just for fun, he took in light at a much higher rate than usual, letting his flames burn with an intensity that swallowed both him and the top half of the mast. To just about anyone, it just looked like a huge ball of fire ravaging the ship. To be honest, he was not about to oblige a human. This just reminded him of how the desert people reacted when he let the weather be just for the region's climate. It wasn't his fault; he wasn't doing anything. Yet they made demands, which Chronos didn't take lightly.
After he did, the fire imploded on him, leaving him in his bare feathers, just a normal bird. He cocked his head to one side, then flew down onto the deck, diving behind a barrel. Another one for the crazies. Now that he had added another soon-to-be-considered lunatic, he decided to wait a bit for any attention to die down. He couldn't exactly leave when others could verify his existence. He might not get to see how their situation pans out, but it was boring to him anyway. All they did was talk, something Chronos thought humans did far too much.
