Fantasy Crimson Knight Academy

Shit! She was speaking to him. He didn't expect that to happen. "Um hi... its its um... Christian." He said while holding his left arm with his right hand. his whole body was shivering. Was she going to get mad at him?! He was stuttering his words a lot. But talking to people made him nervous. Was she going to hit him too? "Um... Uh...I'm not Su... Sure why we ha.. have to stay until dinner." He shook his head trying desperately to calm down. 'speak Normally, and she wont hate you damn it!!' he said to himself. "I am... Curious though." Giving her a smile he immediately sigh'd while dropping his head down. Talking to girls was hard. he never had so much trouble with his friend the postman. He raked his fingers through his hair, taking calming breathes, he centered himself. "What are your thoughts on the matter?"

As the doors to the school opened Marble easily out paced most of the students into the assembly room. Along the way she turned her head side to side as she made her way down the hall to examine the paintings. Here laid hints of what awaited them, massive fights with monsters, battle royales between students, and tests of magic. Of course she didn't know what might await her beyond the doors of this school but she knew she would survive. It didn't surprise her in the least when the Headmistress hinted at more of them dying. After what the Headmistress had just ordered them all to do Marble suspected there would be many more such 'assignments'.

She half listened to the Headmistress, noting her dorm assignment, but Marble was more interested in examining the students that had made it through. There was the young girl with her oversized sword, she had been proved right in her assessment that the young girl knew how to handle her weapon and would make a great warrior in that regard. There was a twitchy young man with a pair of guns who didn't seem comfortable enough being here much less fighting at all. Another girl had gloves on and seemed to know how to fight but wasn't willing to take it all the way to killing. She looked over each of the students around her categorizing, weighing their talents, and ranking them.

Leaving when dismissed she made her way to dorm 39, opening the door she quickly assessed entry points. It wasn't an easily defensible common area with couches, bookshelves, a wardrobe, too much open space and too many windows. Marble crossed the room to the large wardrobe and opened it to reveal a great amount of uniforms. Taking out several uniforms that she assumed was suppose to be for the males, as they seemed to be the only ones suited for someone her height, she moved to open one of the side rooms with beds. There was only a small bag of things at the end of her bed, she didn't own alot of things in life as it was like she had stepped out of thin air 5 years ago. Putting away her school uniforms away in the small wardrobe to the side of her bed she set down on the floor at the end of her bed and place her hammer in her lap. Closing her eyes she meditated and opened herself up to her well of power falling into it and floating through the Earth. It was calming. A place she knew too well, knew it before she had known anything else. It also allowed her to reach the Earth beneath and around her. Pushing the magic outside of her skin she began to map the area around herself, starting with the floor their dorm room was on.

The Sky girl slammed the door on her. So Yuliae guessed she could've used ten bathroom, but geez, commoners have no sense of intelligence or obedience.

Once she had finished changing, Yuliae went out into the Living Room, where others had gathered. The girl named Sky, as well as boy. The girl had just introduced herself as Sky Grantt, with a double t. THe boy's name was Christian.

"Well then, that makes me Yuliae Montgomery. I should let you know that if I am to put up with all you peasants, there will be no words of insult directed at me, ever. Got it? Nothing about my sword, my personality, or my height. Especially not my height. But, I guess I should say that it will certainly be... interesting, living with you all." I looked down for a second, and if anyone had been looking closely they may have noticed the microscopic smile flash onto my face, then disappear as quickly as it had appeared. I looked back up, a stern yet calm expression sealing away my excitement to be surrounded by people for the first time it what seemed like forever.

"Gee, calm down, Princess. We are not your humble subjects, just so you know." Sky joked. She disliked people who looked down to someone else. The way how this Yuliae girl addressed them makes her want to punch that pretty face of hers. Hearing how she noted that she dislike being insulted about her height, Sky who is taller than her (5' 6") grinned as she straighten her body and looked down on her. "Yes, Princess. Especially since we are going to be living together at the same dormitory room, i hope we can be a good friends."

Sky patted Yuliae's head as she walked into the room to change into her uniform. She found her uniform, the only female uniform left in the closet, and took it with her and changed in the toilet. for some privacy.

Yuliae growled. This girl had already violated all her rules. When Sky walked back out from the bathroom, fresh in a uniform. She smiled a sarcastically sweet smile, and said, "Just do remember, Miss Sky, that I am sleeping in the same dorm as you. Insult me anymore and I'd advise you to keep an eye open." She then walked away from her and sat on a couch. She looked at a large painting of a bloody battle royale scene between many magic users. "So, tell me, commoners Sky and Christian, about your magic? Might as well get to know about it if we're going to live together for the next few years."

"Oooh, scary, Princess. When you moves your big ass sword to behead me before you know it will beat you down first." Sky replied, and throw several punches at the air. She sat next to hear in the coach, simply just to piss Yuliae off. "You know, Princess, you should've tell us about you first. Be polite! And if you tell us, maybe... maybe, i'm going to tell you a little bit of mine. Just a small portion of it."

@National (Since we are all in the living room maybe your character could meet us here?)

(Yeah @National you can join us that is allowed during the day)

I growled at the girl, before smiling politely as a way of mocking. "Ah, somebody like me would be obliged to tell someone like you all who I am, what I do. Well, I guess it's your lucky day, peasants."

"I use Metal Magic. I don't know much about magic since I grew up without it, unlike many of the students here. But don't let that fool you, Arcana is tne GReat Sword of Metal! And my armor is powerful. Together, I am a tough opponent, that should not be underestimated! Especially for my height!!" I get up and swing Arcana around a little, with ease. It is sort of like how Thor can use such a heavy hammer. "Easy. And with magic, I'd be something to look out for, commoners."

"Well, it's your turn."

(P.S @National join us in the Living Room soon)

Elden walks out of his room, and he gently closes the door behind him. He takes his dagger and sheathes it on his belt, and he walks down the hall to the living room. He looks down, and he walks down the hall, observing the paintings. He looks at the Earth users, reminding him of his grandmother. He walks into the living room, and he sees the other people there. He silently walks in as he sits down on a recliner. @kurol @too much idea

"Boo-ring..." Kyo said as they all saw the inside. "I've seen fancier back where I lived, and it was literally hell..." Kyo said in a bored and uninterested voice, not really bothering to pay attention to anybody as none caught her eye; well, except that one girl with the large sword, although not for the sword but because of how much she tried to look strong. I should probably have a little... chat with her later... Kyo thought, though simply left it at that and proceeded to the living room area after hearing her dorm number, although took her time by going wherever she pleased.

"Yawn yawn, I'm getting bored..." Kyo said, not bothering actually yawn with how uninterested she was. Entering the living room, she heard the whole 'another annoying commoner' bit from Yuliae, or 'the one girl who tried too hard with that big sword' in Kyo's mind, due to not really having anything else to call her but hat she herself can come up with. "You know... I don't like any of you..." Kyo said blatantly, though through a bubbly and airhead kind of tone that, although normally would be a tone that makes words seem more friendly, just made her words seem all the harsher.

After just a momentary pause, not even enough for others to respond to her words, Kyo resumed talking. "I suppose I should tell why I don't like any of you... Actually, more of why I should say I hate all of you..." Kyo stated, having gone to a completely demonic and spiteful tone between the sets of words 'why I don't like any of you,' and 'I should say I hate all of you'. "The reason is that... I can tell that you four haven't been face-to-face with an actual hell..." Kyo said, having just now bothered actually notice the fact that she was the only one without a uniform. The clothing difference didn't really matter though, as she didn't want to wear a lousy uniform.

"You haven't been face-to-face with an actual hell, yet act like you have... I bet the worst any of you have had is loneliness for a few months to a year or two, perhaps regular beatings for years... I on the other hand... I've been to hell itself... I've seen people kill each other... I've seen those, which come from chaos itself... I know what hell is... I mean, I've lived inside a hell tormented by millions of those things daily for the full sixteen years of my life, after all..." Kyo said, eyes having gone dull and voice monotonous as though she'd lost all care and emotion the moment she put forth her emotion; kind of like she'd had so little emotion, she had to give almost all of it up just to form the word 'hate', then the rest to continue speaking.

"Cool man, the feeling is mutual now." Sky replied. She just met five of them and she already have two of them as enemy. Well, she admit that she's the one who started it with Short Princess. "I feel sorry for whatever shit that you experienced in the past. For me, that orientation we just did is a hell. Killing people just to get admitted..."

(I go to work, and suddenly there's like six posts!! lol)

As the girls spitefully spoke kind words to each other with obvious underlined threats, Christian just passed the two slowly trying not to get in the middle of there strange conversation. 'Must be a girl thing' he thought to himself and opened the cupboard with the uniforms inside. He picked out the dark green uniform with the short coat. liking the way it looked. he changed in the bathroom. Still hearing them talking, he felt a little envious how easy it was for them to say what was on there mind. He hoped he'd be able to join in as well. After he was finished, he stepped out and saw that they had retired to the living room and had been seated on the couch. So he just silently followed and sat in one of the three recliners near the couch. He had no idea what to do next. "So, tell me, commoners Sky and Christian, about your magic? Might as well get to know about it if we're going to be living together for the next few years." Spoke yuliae in a "bow down to me" sort of way.

Christian softly spoke while twiddling his thumbs. "Well my elemental magic is..."

"Oooh, scary, Princess. When you moves your big ass sword to behead me before you know it will beat you down first." Interjected Sky while making fake punches in the air. demanding that Yuliae be the one first to share. "Ah, somebody like me would be obliged to tell someone like you all who I am, what I do. Well, I guess it's your lucky day, peasants." As Yuliae Explained here element as well as her weapon of choice. she made sure that they knew she was a threat. As she went on speaking volumes of her "badassery" In came Eldin Sitting in the recliner just opposite of Christian. He sat there silent, just watching.

"Another annoying commoner? Geez. Well, sit down, and tell us about your magic." Yuliae rolled her eyes. As christian turned hes head to face Eldin in interest in his ability In came another student looking less kind then all of them together. Spitting words of hate in a "Holyier then Thou" attitude. Constantly inserting the word hell in almost all her sentences. Christian did not like this girl. What gave her the right to tell him that her hell was worse then Christian's. If only she knew how christian had live'd for just a day. Christian just looked down at the ground. Unable to speak for himself.

Then Sky spoke her opinion about her and spoke about the orientation. Christian eyes got big as he recalled all the dead bodies and blood. "There... there was just so much blood." He said as he wrapped both his arms around himself.

Elden's mysterious tiger like eyes glow as he tilts his head. He speaks with a mysterious and calm voice. "I am Elden. But I do not remember being a commoner. I am a lightning user." @kurol @too much idea

Elden sees the woman come in, and state that she hated everyone. Elden tilts his head, a tad confused. Did he insult her? Did he at all eve talk to her? He thinks of it as a mental problem and shrugs it off. He hoped that all of them would work together. He pushes his feathers back up in his hair as he looks around, scanning them. "We all will live with each other for a while. Why not all work together, as a group of friends?" His tone floated across the room like an ominous breeze. @too much idea @kurol @yamagache @Kiyoko Tomoe

Avong wasnt that impressed by what was in the school , his mansion had something similar and only a few things maintained all the atttention of Avong after all , he only came to know magic and creatures , he arrived at his room very easily and fast , but he noticed that someone already put his things there , he did the same and he changed his clothes after that he took a bath to remove some of the blood that was in his skin after the battle , the next he did was put all kind of amulets and all the things he brougth into his room , a kinda strange decoration but now he felt a bit more safe . After that he dedicated his time into putting a couple of add-ons to his weapon , he didnt had the time before because he had to leave his house very fast , but now his weapon was improved.

Kael sighed. Things were getting boring again. The orientation was interesting but cut short right when the fun was starting. As for Headmistress's address to the students be long blocked out any talk about Crimson Knights. If they were so mighty why did no one know of them or this academy.

Kael listened only to where he would be staying, a dorm 39. He made his way to the dorm glancing occasionally at all the interesting paintings. After arriving he looked over the room and was rather pleased. It wasn't very fancy but it was more than adequate. Kael went to the males' bedroom and guessed that the empty bed was his. The others had luggage by them. He broke off a link from his weapon and placed it on the bed. Hopefully that would be sufficient as a mark. Having something to call his own even if only temporary was nice. Kael checked the wardrobe and took out the uniform with the waist length green blazer. He went to the bathroom and changed into the uniform. His current clothes he quickly washed with magic before drying and placing inside the nightstand by his bed.

Kael wandered into the common area. He could vaguely sense someone exerting their magic inside the other bedroom. Kael wasn't sure who it was but decided to at least say hello. He knocked on the door lightly and spoke in a friendly tone. "Hello, I'm Kael, one of the males assigned to this dorm. I just wanted to get aquatinted with my dormmate, but if you're busy I'll simply leave to do my own business."

@JustKay

A knock at the door roused Marble out of her dive into the stone of the school. At this point she was covered in stone, looking like a statue. Her eyes popped open at the sound of a voice. Slowly the stone fell away from her skin like a waterfall to sink back into the floor to rejoin that which it came from. Standing Marble stretched out all 6'4" of her height, resembling a predator stretching out after a hunt, as she reattached her hammer to her back. Letting her magic flow back into her skin she turned her attention back to the student as he introduced himself. "I am called Marble." her voice rolled out and brought to mind a gentle hill as she nodded at Kael.

Marble was still dressed in the clothes from the fight but any grim or blood had disappeared when the stone had flowed off of her. "Perhaps we should retire to the common area. I have a feeling that we will be spending alot of time with those rooming with us." Her long legs brought her even with Kael before slipping past him and into the other room. Picking a seat whose back was to a wall and provided the best view of the area she sat down, swinging her hammer around to settle it on her lap. All of her movements were fluid and precise. Nothing wasted but it seemed like she was maintaining extreme control so as to not break anything.

This wasn't how it was supposed to go.

Michael's mind was blank as he walked through the halls of the academy. Going here had been his dream, his ticket out of a life of obscurity. When he had received the letter some time back, he had been ecstatic, even when his family had begged him not to leave.

I should have listened, the young man thought mournfully as he looked down at his bloodied axe. By the stars, I should have listened. All of the stories and poems he had read had featured battle as a glorious thing, war as righteous. Neither of those adjectives came close to describing the horrific events that had occurred. When the Headmistress gave the order to fight, Michael had frozen up. Was she serious? How could she calmly tell potential students--most of them barely out of adolescence--to slaughter each other? What kind of accursed place was the Crimson Knight Academy?

And if his allies were this bad, how much worse were his foes?

By all counts, Michael should have died where he stood, petrified. The only thing that had shaken him out of his stupor was the knowledge that if he fell now, his parents could die of shock. So the farmer had gripped his weapon and assumed a defensive position, guarding against the strikes of his fellow applicants, many of whom were just as terrified as he was. Luckily, Michael's affinity for the earth had served him well, and he had been able to successfully block his opponents' attacks while he struggled to figure out how to incapacitate his enemies without outright killing them. Of course, they hadn't shared his conviction; some of them went straight for a killing blow. Indeed, Michael would have been among the first to be slain had he not taken courage in the fables and songs that he knew by heart, tales of bravery and justice. He defended more than he struck, but he had been able to fight back his opponents. I will gladly give my life to save another's, he had thought. But I will not die at the hands of cruelty.

Was that the purpose behind the massacre? Was the Headmistress attempting to weed out the ones who were eager to kill? Unlikely, as such characters were among the survivors. No, as much as Michael tried to think of a way around it, the fact was simply that the strongest kept on breathing. He himself had been forced to strike down a young lad, around his age. Michael still remembered the foggy look in the boy's eyes as he died. Did he have a family? If he had decided not to go to academy, would he have lived to become a just and generous king? No one could ever know. Michael almost wretched on the academy floors at the memory. He had killed his fair share of chickens, birds, and coyotes, but only to ensure that his family had something to eat. No matter how much he tried, he couldn't justify his actions as simply "trying to survive". It was then and there that Michael vowed that he would never again take the life of anyone who he believed could be innocent. He would follow the examples of the old stories, even in a new, more brutal world.

Your place at Crimson Academy will be secured until you die. Surprisingly, Michael didn't find himself that frightened by the Headmistress's words. Perhaps his heart had already hardened to the prospect of death. More likely, he was prepared to die. He would die eventually; better to do it in glory. Once he reached the dorms, Michael donned the uniform he had been provided. It felt a little odd, but it was made out of better materials than even his best farming clothes. Even as he walked around the dorm, trying to become used to the new environment, he could feel his old demeanor returning. Yes, the events of the past were disturbing, but he would not let the sacrifice of the fallen go to waste.

So one boy was a lightning user? And then there was a girl who seemed to hate everyone. I didn't have a good feeling about her. But, in my heart of hearts, I knew something was behind her mask of rage. She reminded me of... me.

"Hating everyone for the sake of it? Gee, snow girl, at least hating people because they're nosy and pushy and annoying is a better reason!" I said. She shot me an icy glare. I growled, the looked around. The Christian boy seemed to be struggling for words. Was he always this shy? How should I know, In just met these commoners! Yet.. I had some strange connection to them..hmph.

The snow girl was staring daggers at me. "What? If you got a problem with me, come out with it! But I'll tell you, even if I'm small I can beat you up!!" She was strange. I felt the need we both needed to... have a talk. "Grr, teach this commoner some lessons. Be this a warning to you all. And you, scary ice queen, let's have a chat outside. And with that, i jumped out the window, even with the knowledge that A) it was at least forty meters high, and B) I wasn't allowed out yet.

(P.S try to stay in living room coz I have a plan to get us all out for a fight soon after Kyo and Yuliae's chat)

Before Sky could stop the Shortie, she already jumped out of the window. Surprisingly, still intact, breathing, and insulting the other girl that she called 'The Scary Ice Queen'. What a cheesy, uncreative nickname. Instead of telling her to return to the room (It's not like Shortie is going to listen to her anyway), Sky turned at the girl who just insulted them and raised her eyebrow at her.

"So, 'scary ice queen'," Sky asked the girl. She know that by calling her that, maybe the Shortie was right by saying that she should keeping her eyes open when she's sleeping. Sky doesn't want to make enemy of them, but with their high and mighty attidute Sky couldn't help but to hate them. "Do you accept Shortie's invitation? Just to remind you, we are not allowed to leave this building until dinner time. If you fight, even if i didn't like it, i won't do anything to stop you."

She had landed perfectly. Not like she expected any other of it. The scary ice queen wasn't there yet. She waited a minute. Grr... Dammit. She transformed into her metal armor. The silver light enclosed her in it's magical cocoon. She leaped up to the window sill. Jumping off was fine, but jumping back up needed armor help. "You know what? Scary cie queen can wait her for a sec, I wanna have a chat with the Sky Commoner. Come down... unless your stupid enough not to. Or too chicken." I grinned before leaping back down flawlessly. This time I went to a tree and waited beneath it. I could talk with Kyo later. There was something I needed to ask this commoner girl.

"No, thanks, Shortie." Sky calmly replied, predicting that Yuliae won't be able to jump and attack her from this height or crazy enough to destroyed the dorm building. She lifted her left arm and pointed at her watch. Sky grinned at her, to tease her even more. While doing so, she took out her gloves and wear them, just in case Yuliae really is crazy enough to attack her. If she did, Sky won't held back like back in the orientation. This girl need to be taught a lesson. "We shouldn't leave the room until dinner time, right? Knowing that we have such a crazy Headmaster, i don't want to imagine what kind of punishment i would receive for breaking her rule. Plus, i'm a good kid!"
