Fandom Corpse Party: Stuff of Nightmares

Akihiro looked at him and chuckled. "Well I been through all this. Ain't gonna stop now." He walked towards the body and looked for a good spot to grab and pull. "And if you touch her like that again. Be prepared to join your friend here." Where the hell did that came from? That wasn't like him at all.

"I said; don't touch her!" Yoshiki yelled, "Have some respect for the dead!" He kicked the other boy over, "And don't threaten me. You think you could fight me?" Daisuke clearly had no respect for the dead or for other people's feelings. Ayumi would hate how he was picking at her dead body.

"Don't touch her." Ako said, standing up slowly, "Imagine if somebody had killed you and they poked at your body. You'd hate it." She wiped her hands on her skirt, "And you two better start getting along or I'm sacrificing you to the ghost children." She laughed bitterly.

Akihiro looked at Ako. "If moving me dead corpse was for someone else's greater good. Then so be it!" He slowly made a evil smile. "And believe me bub. I wouldn't threating you f didn't think I can back up my words." He looked at the body again. "I bet a piece of the puzzle is under her corpse."

"Did you hit him so hard you gave him brain damage?" Ako glanced at Yoshiki, raising en eyebrow.

"If you really want her corpse moved, I'll do it." Yoshiki said, "She's my... Friend, after all." He crouched down, grabbing hold of Ayumi's waist. Surprisingly gently, he pulled her body from the drain and onto the ground. Luckily, it didn't catch on anything. Her corpse was even more mangled from the waist up and she was missing both arms but her face was still recognisable. Her eyes were wide open in shock.

"I'm sorry, Shinozaki." Yoshiki told her.

"May she rest in peace." Ako said.

Shikyo crossed over the board and sucked in a giant breath when he was across. He reached down and picked up the board and set it against the wall next to him. "Just in case another earthquake happens." He said standing up straight "I don't want to lose the board." He started down the hallway until they came to an intersection. He saw the big door that would lead to the exit and he ran towards it. He grabbed the handle with high hopes and pulled. "Of course" Shikyo said as he shook the door. "Locked..." He looked at the other paths they could take. There was the way they had came, another hallway that led further back, and the third path that was blocked by a hole. "Wait a sec" he said as he went over towards the hole across the hole was a stairway with a sign that said Infirmary and another door. "Why do I get the feeling we need to get over there?" He scratched the back of his head. "Any ideas?"

Akihiro let him do so. As soon as he got her out he reached right in the drain and looked for something. He then grabbed something. "Yes." He said softly and he pulled it out and it was a key. "I knew it."

"I wonder... Do you think she jumped in or do you think, just maybe, she was pushed?" Ako frowned. She pulled a tissue from her pocket and gently wiped the blood from Ayumi's face. Then, she closed the girl's eyes.

"She was special to you, huh?" Ako said. It took Yoshiki a moment to realise that she was talking to him. Of course, who else would she be talking to?

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." Yoshiki said, and he stood up, "Can we leave? I don't want to look at her anymore." The sight of her mangled body was burning into his brain.

Akihiro was already out of the pool thinking. He lifted the board and waited at the door. "Were does such a key go to?" He said to himself.

"Akihiro." Ako hurried after him, "Is something wrong?" It wasn't really a question. Something was obviously wrong, he wouldn't just run off without her. She could have got left behind. She clambered out of the pool, scraping both knees in the process and grabbed him by the back of his shirt.

"You can tell me. We're best friends." she smiled.

Yoshiki followed, lagging a little behind. The pair obviously needed a moment and, as much as he hated to admit it, he was upset. Ayumi was amazing, his greatest friend really. She was the one that convinced him not to drop out of the school. She was the reason he came into school every day. And now she was just... Gone. He glanced back at where her body lay crippled and wanted to punch someone hard.

Akihiro looked at her. "I'm fine. Thank you for your concern. But I really want to figure out where this key went to." He was really curious on where this key will. He put it in his pocket. "Ready to go?"

"Yeah..." Ako said, but she still felt uneasy. Something wasn't right here.

"Yoshiki! Keep up!" she called over her shoulder. The boy strode over to her. He was taller than her, making her feel a little inferior. And she knew how strong he was too. He'd make a useful addition to their group.

"I am keeping up, Suzuki." Yoshiki grumbled.

"Lead on, Akihiro!" Ako commanded.

Akihiro nodded and had the floor board over his shoulder. They walked back inside and started looking for the right door.

"It could be for the infirmary." Ako said, "We haven't gone in there yet. What's wrong, Yoshiki?" She asked, as the boy cringed a little in horror.

"Mayu was killed in that infirmary." Yoshiki shrugged, "Who's to say we won't be?"

"We'll be fine." Ako said, "Akihiro will protect us!" She smiled.

"I don't need damn protecting..." Yoshiki muttered.

Akihiro nodded. "Wasn't planning on protecting you anyway." He looked at Ako. "But isn't that on the second floor? And it says don't go to the stairs?"

"What can I say?" Ako said, smiling, "I'm a rebel." She headed for the stairs. There was still a single post blocking the way. With a deep breath, Ako leapt over the post and stood triumphant on the other side. She was only fine for a moment though.

"Go back. Go back. GO BACK! Go away! Get out! You're not wanted, go back!" She covered her ears as they began to ring and her head began to pound.

"NO! STOP IT!" Ako screamed.

"What the hell?" Yoshiki took a step back in the shock. The girl was screaming for some reason and seemed to be in pain. He looked to Akihiro, hoping he'd know what to do. Because he was confused. Make what stop? What was Ako screaming at?

Akihiro shrugged and ran over the post and picked her up. He walked over the post again and put her down. "Ako? What the hell happened?"

"It hurts!" Ako muttered, clutching her head in her hands, "Oh god, it really hurts!" Her head felt like it was going to explode. That would suck. Ako just lay there, gasping for breath, and her head aching.

"What hurts?" Yoshiki frowned, "Are you going crazy?" Was this going to be like Ayumi and her possession thing again?

"She could be." Yoshiki said, darkly, "There are enough people here that have. Who's to say that she's not going to go crazy and try to kill you?" Wow, his thoughts were becoming dark. Maybe seeing Ayumi's body was making him crazy too.

Somebody was talking and it all sounded like a drone in her ears. All words were useless; they all sounded the same. Then, Ako whacked her head against the ground and everything cleared.

"I'm okay." she said, "I just..." She forced herself up and shrugged.

"Oniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-chhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!" came a faint scream in the distance.

"Mochida's sister?" Yoshiki muttered, "Maybe she can lead me to the others. I have to go and find my friends." With that, he just walked away. His footsteps got more distant until his figure disappeared from view.

"I'm okay, I promise." Ako smiled, weakly, "Just... Got a headache, that's all. I advise that we don't take these stairs. There has to be some other ones, right?"

Akihiro nodded. "I think so." He stood up. "I hate that guy. Wished I kicked as he climbing out of the pool." He chuckled.

"He just lost his friend." Ako said, "And he saw Mayu die." She cringed. It had been bad enough to see Mayu's mess of limbs but to watch it happen... If she saw that, she'd probably crawl into a hole and stay there forever. Yoshiki was tough.

"So... Where do you want to-?" She stood up and swayed a little on her feet, "Which way?"

"I liked Yoshiki." Ako said, "He seemed like he was kind of a badass." And she followed Akihiro, trying not to fall over her own feet or any dead corpses that might be lying around.
