Fandom Corpse Party: Stuff of Nightmares

Akihiro walked out into the rain. He walked around. "Hey. We found a pool. If the water was clean, I would have brought shorts."

It was still raining furiously. Ako crossed her arms and stepped outside, shuddering.

"Dude, there's dead bodies in there." she wrinkled her nose, "You wouldn't seriously swim in that?"

Akihiro shook his head. "Like I said. If it was clean." He looked around. "I think I see a door on the other side."

"Okay." Ako nodded, walking as quick as she could in somewhere as slippery as this, "Come on. It's cold." Her hair was beginning to stick to her face from the rain and she hated that.

Akihiro nodded and followed her. He walked over and opened the door. The room was a boiler room. "Maybe we can drain the pool."

"Why would we do that?" Ako raised an eyebrow, "So, we can look at more dead bodies that have decomposed? Hmm, tempting."

Akihiro nodded and started to turn a valve. Outside the pool drained. A few moments he stopped. "Let's go check it out."

"Okay." Ako said, "Let's go see the dead people!" She laughed, a little hysterically. Then, she shook her head.

"Sorry, I just don't like this. I hate this place." Then, she went outside. The pool was throughly drained, most of the bodies sunk to the bottom. They were more decomposed than normal corpses because they had been in water.

Akihiro walked out and shook his head. "Lets get this over with." He put the floor board down and jumped in the pool.

"Ugh... Oh god..." Ako jumped down into the pool. The floor was even slipperier here and covered in grime. The bodies all looked old and long dead. Except for one. In the middle, where the drain was, a girl's body lay looking fresh. Had she fallen in just now without them noticing? Her body was horribly mangled and bloody, her torso stuck in the drain.

"Akihiro..." Ako called, "Um..."

(Dun, dun, DUN. We just killed Ayumi by the way. Yoshiki's gonna kill us >.<)

(Oh that's just great.)

Akihiro saw the body and fell to his knees. "Oh Christ. I-I killed her." He started tearing. "No. No no no." He kept repeating it for a few minutes. He just killed someone. He couldn't believe that he just committed murder on someone that was just trying to get out just like them.

Ako, cringing, managed to find the girl's name tag amongst her mangled corpse. Ayumi Shinozaki, Kisaragi High, Class 2-9. The same class as Mayu Suzumoto? God, they'd both met grisly ends.

"You didn't mean to." Ako said, turning to Akihiro, "It was an accident." She went over to him and knelt beside him, "It's not your fault, it's really not."

Where had Ayumi vanished off to? Yoshiki had only turned his back to her for one second. He hoped she wasn't freaking possessed again, mumbling on about other people's lives. He ran out of the door that Ayumi had warned him not to go through- regretting it almost instantly.

"Shinozaki!" he yelled, "Shinozaki, where did you go?!" That was when he saw them. Two high school students, kneeling in the middle of the empty pool. Next to... Next to... It couldn't be.

"Shinozaki!" his eyes widened.

"Did you kill her?" Yoshiki glared, "Which one of you killed her?" He glared between the pair. The boy was standing, the girl was still kneeling. Which one of them did it? He'd kill them! He climbed down into the pool and stalked towards them.

The boy was glaring at her and at Akihiro too. It was beginning to unnerve Ako, who was horrified enough as it was.

"Neither of us killed her." she said, "It was an accident." She didn't mean to kill anyone. She didn't even want to hurt anyone.

Akihiro nodded. "Yeah. I decided to drain the pool. We didn't realized your friend jumped in and decided to. To." He couldn't finished. He got in front of Ako. He had a bad feeling where this is going.

"It really was all a mistake." Ako said, "Sorry." She stood up and held out Ayumi's ID card for the boy to take. They seemed to very close friends. Ako hoped that the boy wasn't going to kill her and Akihiro was obviously thinking the same thing.

Yoshiki snatched the ID card from the girl, who cringed away from him in fear. It was definitely Ayumi's, which meant this was definitely her body. She really was... Dead... It had all happened so quickly. He punched the boy across the face and glared at him.

"Why were you draining the pool anyway?" he raised an eyebrow.

"I'm fine," Yuina said, brushing herself off. "That was a little freaky, though. It reminded me of the earthquake right after we did the charm." She walked up to the floorboard that now served as a bridge and tested it. As soon as she knew it was fairly safe, she shuffled her way across it to the other side of the gap. Then, she turned around and held it so Shikyo could go across.

Akihiro held his cheek. "I was thinking there was something on the bottom of the pool." He better he didn't do that again.

Stupid kid. Who did he think he was? The boss of this school? Yoshiki raised his fist to hit him again. But... The girl grabbed his fist with both her hands.

"No!" she said, "In times like this, we have to stick together!" She reminded him of Ayumi, a little. That was what made him falter.

"I'm Ako Suzuki and this is my friend Akihiro Daisuke." the girl introduced. Was she really trying to be friends right now?

"I'm Yoshiki Kishinuma." he said, frowning at the girl. She was still holding his fist tightly in her small hands.

Akihiro was very tempted to take the opportunity to hit him back. But he wanted to see where this would go. He looked at the drain. If there was something there. She's blocking the way.

"Don't even think about touching her!" Yoshiki growled, shoving Ako aside. Ako stumbled and fell over backwards, surprised at how strong he was. She felt awful for Yoshiki, of course. His friend was dead.

"Did you know Mayu Suzumoto?" she asked, as she sat up. There was a thick layer of grime on her back, hands and a little in her hair.

"I knew her. What's it to you?" Yoshiki looked down at her and Ako tried not to feel pathetic.

"I have her ID card too." Ako pulled it from her pocket and held it up. Yoshiki snatched that from her as well. He'd seen Mayu be killed and he really didn't want to think about it.
