Fandom Corpse Party: Stuff of Nightmares

Akihiro walked back slowly. He stepped over what's left if Mayu. He walked up to the door and tried the key. It didn't work. "Dammit." He said under his breathe.

(THANK SWEET BABY CAT JESUS)

She thought that she'd be more used to passing Mayu the second time around. Instead, she felt worse. She felt like she was on the verge of throwing up, her stomach churning and her vision blurring a bit. God, she'd never been so freaked out by a dead person before! She'd seen loads of horror and occult stuff without being bothered. But this was real. Covering her mouth and nose with her hands, she hurried forward.

"Did the key work?" she asked.

Akihiro shook his head. "No it didn't." He put the key in his pocket with his piece of the charm. He sighed. "I hope everyone has their piece."

"Thanks." Yuina smiled gratefully, took the picture, folded it up, and put it in the pocket that she put her piece of the paper charm in. "I guess we should get going."

"Yeah Lets get going." Shikyo said as he took his notebook back from Yuina. He opened to the first page and opened the laminated pouch on the inside cover. He put his paper scrap in the pouch where he kept his ID and placed it back in his bag. He opened the door and walked out into the hall. "We should try to find the front entrance" He turned to look at her. "Maybe we'll get lucky and we can just walk out of here" He said hopefully.

(If only it was so easy…)

"Wouldn't that be nice," Yuina murmured, already thinking of all the food she would eat when they got back to their lives. She followed him into the hallway and continued, "Speaking of food, there's probably nothing to eat here, is there?"

At the mention of food Shikyo's stomach growled. "Yeah i don't think there would be" He became a little worried "And if there was it probably would be rotten." He thought to himself about how other people had lasted for so long and shuttered. "God…" Shikyo said as he figured out how some of them could survive "Yuina. We need to get out of here fast." He said as he began to walk down the hallway. "I wonder if we'll run into anyone who also did this charm and ended up here." He said as he came to a hole in the floor. "Shoot. I don't think we can jump this…" He said looking around. "You see a floorboard anywhere that we could use?"

"I haven't really seen one. Maybe we should take a different route?" Yuina looked around the hallway and noticed something leaning against the wall. "Wait, I think I see something. Over there." She gestured to the corner of one of the walls that juts out further that the rest of it.

(Sorry if it's bad grammar; it's pretty late over here. I should get to bed.)

"Okay. Where else was locked? Or where haven't we been?" Ako said, "How many floors do you think there are?" At that point, the ground suddenly began to shake and Ako stumbled into the wall. There was the sound of things falling and smashing into one another. Am earthquake? Ako hoped the building wouldn't collapse.

Akihiro tried to keep his balance. "What the?" After the earthquake he sighed. "Alright. With that out of the way. We should look for someplace we haven't been before."

"Look out for notes along the way." Ako said, "And for any clues on how to escape. I guess we'd need to know about the curse to reverse it." She steadied herself and began down the corridor, grabbing Akihiro by the hand. She didn't want to stay near that infirmary or Mayu's insides anymore. Both made her uneasy.

"Yeah, it would be downstairs-" Ako stopped at the top of the stairs. There was a single board blocking the way with a notice on it: NO STUDENTS ALLOWED. The board looked easily breakable and easy to climb over or duck under. But Ako got the feeling that they shouldn't cross it.

Akihiro raised a eyebrow. "What should we do? Usually in my experiences in horror games. When there's a warning to not go. People who don't listen usually die."

"Actually, the nonbelievers tend to die first." Ako said, "Homoura is screwed. But, anyway, let's not go that way." She turned away from the stairs, "Let's go that way." She was getting the feeling she was being watched and wanted to move away from the stairs. She didn't want to get pushed down the.

Akihiro nodded and headed down the direction Ako pointed at. "Alright. Let's go." He lead the way. With all going on he still didn't noticed Ako held his hand. He smiled softly and kept going. He felt happier and safe with the hand holding. "Any ideas?"

"Nope. You got any ideas?" She found a door and rattled the door handle. It didn't open. She kept going until they turned a corner. Then, she froze.

"Aaaaaaagggggghhhh!" Ako shouted, clinging to Akihiro. Then, she stopped.

"I'm sorry, I..." she'd thought she'd seen someone. There had been a shadow and a snip of scissors. But it was gone as fast as it appeared. The children from earlier playing tricks on her maybe?

Akihiro held her close as looked around the corner. "There's nothing there." This place must be starting to play mind games with them. They must keep a strong mind. "Come on. It's safe."

"Safe?" Ako scoffed. Nothing here could be classified as safe.

"It all just seems never ending." she muttered, "The school, the spirits, the death. I'm sorry." She pulled away from him, "I'm just kinda... Scared..." She hated to admit it.

"You're right. For once." Ako said, "How long do you think it's been?" They seemed to have found the bathrooms that they were trying so hard to avoid. Ako wondered if they should turn back. But there might be clues to their escape here.

Akihiro chuckled. "Oh I've been right more then once. And I wouldn't have the foggiest clue on how long we been here." He saw the bathrooms. "Do we need to?"

"There... There might be some clues..." Ako was hesitant about the idea of going in herself. But what if there was something vital and they missed it? They needed all the information they could get in order to escape.

"We may be about to die." Ako said, sadly. And with that, she pushed the door to the boys bathroom open. It looked like an apocalypse had happened in there, it was even more destroyed than the rest of the school. She tried the sinks and found that there was no water in there. The mirrors above the sink were shattered.
