According to lore the humans feared he was a brutish giant that would kill them so they packed his helm with it to blind Gough in an attempt to protect themselves. They then locked the now blind Gough inside the tower he started in.

I loved all the NPCs from the Oolacile dlc.


Especially the lord's blade Ciaran, she was my favourite after Artorias of course

What's really sad is when you save him from the Abyss he helps you kill Manus them you have to go back and kill him again and there's a cut scene where he hesitates because he recognizes you and you still have to kill him

Also, the Manus fight is so bloody hard. I beat it on new game and new game + but new game ++ was just impossible...

I only did it twice so I could have the catalyst and the spell. That's all that I needed from that DLC since I had all the other dark soceries

Yeah, I did it teice to get 2 silver tracers and 2 gold tracers so i could cosplay Ciaran with a fog ring. Some of the most fun times I've had in games was cosplay in Dark souls.


This one time, me and another person cosplayed as ornstein and smough xD


It was hilarious, we won every fight in PvP
