Fantasy Compromise Brings Delusion (Arranged Marriage) (Open/Always Accepting)

Penelope Draven: Dark Princess
Location: Gazebo
Company: Flynn Wulfgarr

As soon as Penelope's words left her mouth she noticed someone else talking to the musician, it was a girl in a lavish blue dress and it definitely seemed that she was Kai, Princess of the Water Domain but upon Penelope's arrival the Water Princess seemed to become extremely uncomfortable but Penelope ignored the girl as she turned her attention to the musician who gently took her hand kissing the back of it as Penelope tilted her head 'Is this some sort of greeting?' Penelope thinks as no one has ever greeted her like that as it was a very gently and soft greeting. "Allow me to introduce myself to you as well Princess Draven, I am Flynn Wulfgar royal musician for the wedding. You are smart as your are beautiful, Princess. My nerves are a bit...shot" Flynn speaks as Penelope nods as she examined his face but Penelope once again turned her attention to the Water Princess who was speaking quite quickly before she made her get away to Princess Teno.

"It's nice to meet you Flynn, Please just called me Penelope" Penelope says as being referred to as 'Princess Draven' felt a little strange but she put that thought out of her head as he really did look worried about the performance. "From the look on your face that you haven't finished composing the music?" Penelope says as she then walked over to the large grand piano which was situated at the back of the orchestra set up and Penelope pulled the stool out from under the piano and sitting on it but then shuffling up so there was enough space for him to sit if he wished to. Penelope pulled up the piano lit revealing the porcelain white keys as Penelope used her sleeve to wipe the dust off them as she then turned back to Flynn "I'm a musician too, maybe I could help you finish the song?" Penelope says as she really didn't want to see a fellow musician fail at such a big event as this as it would cause a big knock the his reputation.

Rein stood up straight when he heard the fire guard and smiled at her with a charm of a mischievous fox. He nodded back. "Likewise. It is an honor to meet you as well." It's always good to see a friendly face.

He pondered for a moment. "Everyone here seem very different from the Water kingdom..er..to me, that is." He said sheepishly. "And you, Miss? I'm sorry, where are my manners? My name is Rein Eärendil, I serve for Princess Kai as a servant." It was obvious that he was new to grand social gatherings like this one since he kept following the Princess around like a lost puppy.

Her ears perked up, wiggling her button nose like a rabbit from the playful swish of his tail, and smiled. "Sir, yes Sir." So she started to unpack the small tent for the Purrsian tailor can work in. Her blue eyes wandered up every few moments around the area then at the very tall and very uncomfortable bodyguard that Devon hired. The poor guy, she didn't know why he was so uncomfortable - Maybe he's shy meeting people? - but she hoped he would feel better.

As she listened to the Purrsian tailor's plans on opening the stall, Yoko squirmed in her spot from the ground as she laid the pipes just to attach them together without much issue. Her three tails wriggling in her excitement. She gets to have a bit of free time to see the other stalls too?! Yay~! Happy day, indeed. The tiny kitsune tried smelling the food and gulped at the description, feeling a bit hungry herself. "That sounds delicious, right Mister Sabaton?"

Once she has all the pipes attached and ready to put up, Yoko's ears twitched over to where she heard a male's voice - Not Mr. Devon's or Sabaton - and couldn't resist looking over. She blinked.

Oh? It's either a royal admirer or is one of the costumers' brother...maybe? She didn't know but she greeted the curious Prince Danil either way. "Welcome, young sir!" Then she stood to set up the rest of the tent. Her three tails swayed gently whenever she moved around.

"Your highness? I believe someone familiar is calling for you. If you like, I will keep you company until you don't need it anymore." Upon hearing Rein's calming voice Kai felt her body stop shaking. "Oh Rein I'm so sorry I didn't realize you were here yet, but thank goodness you are." Kai sighed,"Did I make a complete fool of myself? I assume you heard all that," Kai gestured with one of her hands and then placed it on her forehead.

Before she knew it, Kai was being talked to by the guard as well. "Princess Kai. It is an honor to meet you. As well as your companion. Princess Teno sent me to inform you that she is currently not in the position to leave her current spot. But I'm sure she will get to you as soon as she can. I hope you had a pleasant trip to the Fire Kingdom and that you are enjoying your stay! Are there a lot of differences, compared to the Water Domain?" Kai listened as Rein replied to the girl,"Likewise. It is an honor to meet you as well." He paused "Everyone here seem very different from the Water kingdom..er..to me, that is." He said sheepishly. "And you, Miss? I'm sorry, where are my manners? My name is Rein Eärendil, I serve for Princess Kai as a servant." Kai smiled and rested a hand on Hope, who was now waking in her arms.

She could see why Teno liked this guard, for it was the same reason she did, her joyfulness. "It is truely a pleasure to meet you too, umm I'm sorry I didn't catch your name," Kai hugged the guard with one arm, "Thank you for informing me on Teno, I'd be happy to go over to visit with her." Kai thought on her question as well,"I do believe both Kingdoms share the same warmth, however with me around the weather can be a bit temperamental," Kai giggled at her remark. "Our cultures are also slightly intertwined thanks to the alliance between the Kingdoms, perhaps we can arrange for you to visit soon? Of course, you'd have to come along with my dear friend Teno." Kai smirked then turned to Rein,"Stay close? I may need you to help with the little one," she smiled down at the now awake Hope.

With both Rein and the guard Kai walked over to Teno and another girl with her, "Why hello there stranger!"

"A minor hiccup." Rein answered honestly and sprinkled with amusement. "You mentioned about wanting to hippo your water...?" He looked in her arms where the baby hippo, Hope was waking up. "Morning little one." He greeted quietly.

The Kelpie listened in their conversation with a pleasant smile on his face as his ice blue eyes roamed around to see the different stands and new creatures and human faces. Then his attention went back at the princess and nodded.

"Of course, princess."

He followed behind Kai with the fire guard. His hands behind his back as he watched the interaction that's unfolding between the girls. He only chipped in whenever one of them asks him a question or a comment.

Benjamin Raveran
Industrial Son

"Hehe, I suppose your right, he is quite lucky to be marrying someone like you." Benjamin said, chuckling slighty at her sisters comment.

"Though you know, it won't really hurt if gave him somthing... a bit personal." Benjamin said as he kept looking at his music box. He sat there with his sister, not knowing what to say either. It did seem an entirety that they sat side by side, but in reality it had only been a few minutes.

Then his sister stood up, and Benjamin looked up at her. "Listen Benji, I know things look bad right now. Neither of us wants to be in this situation, but these are the cards we've been dealt." Then Benjamin looked back down at the cold metal floor. He felt his sister adjust the bowler hat on his head, but still said nothing. "It'll be fine Benji, we have red hot metal in our blood, we can conquer anything. Besides, how bad can she be? They're a kingdom full of spiritual intellectuals."

"Yeah...what's their to worry about..." was all Benjamin was able to get out, right before a teardrop landed on his music box...then another, and then another. Soon more tear drops were falling from his eyes, as Benjamin tried cupping his mouth to avoid making any noise.

He couldn't help it, he was going to miss his sister. Sure, they didn't always see eye to eye, or even spent that much time together. But they were still siblings, and they had looked out for one another. Well, maybe his sister always looked out for him, but it didn't mean he loved her any less. Heck, even given who she was, Alice was always someone he could cling while navigating the aristocratic society.

Benjamin was just not ready, not ready to rule a nation, not ready to be married, and most of all he was not ready to lose his sister...

Alice Raveran.jpg
It broke Alice's heart to see her brother cry. She always told herself that their would be time for them to do things together and build their relationship, but there was always one more gala, one more mission, one more distraction. Their parents were so involved in their own business that it was only the two of them growing up, but because of their age differences, they were often busy with separate tasks and events. If only I'd been there for him, I could've toughened him up. I could've prepared him for the harsh realities of this life.

Alice looked upon her little brother with a new determination. She may not have been there for him as much as she would've liked, but she would be here now to support him. Alice wiped the tears from Benjamin's face, embracing him in a warm protective hug. Her own situation would have to take a backseat for now, she was determined to ensure her little brother's future.

"It's time Alice. We've arrived."

"Thank you Syn." Alice gives her younger brother one last squeeze before releasing him from their hug. "Stay strong Benji, I sincerely believe that you can overcome this." Alice turns to walk towards one of the awaiting blimps, where her team was already gathered. "Where the hell is Kaylee, she better have finished that present." Moments later, her airship departs, making it's way to the event grounds.
________________

As the blimp touches down, Alice and her team disembark onto the grounds. A group of officials approach her, welcoming her and explaining the days events. The determined Daughter gives the officials a stern look to quiet them down, not wanting to be disturbed from her current mission. "You know what to do Syn." Alice takes a few steps forward, taking in everything, identifying her targets.

Syn turns to the team, silently pointing around towards high value positions around the grounds. All but 3 guards disappear in a blinding flash, leaving Alice's 3 most highly trained soldiers as her show piece guards. The guards, unlike the rest of the crew that were equipped for stealth, were dressed in very intricate and advanced looking armor that seemed to resonate on an almost mystical wavelength, causing their movements to leave slight ghost images behind them. Each of them wore a mechanical gauntlet that disrupted all magic, or at least that's what Kaylee claimed they did. The gauntlets were prototypes and had not been fully tested yet. Nobody anticipated any type of altercations, but they certainly came armed enough to incapacitate even the strongest of forces. Between the high powered rifles strapped to their backs and the electrified pikes strapped to their wrists, nobody would be foolish enough to start anything.

Looking around, Alice spots many of the royal children around. The Dark Princess was over by the gazebo with a suave looking young man, while she spotted the the Fire and Water princess gathered around a crowd of underlings and Fire Kingdom guards. She looked around for her fiance, instead spotting the Dark Prince speaking to a Purrsian. She had never met the Dark Prince, but her spies had gathered enough intel on everyone to recognize his face. As Alice made her way to the pair of princesses, she spots her Fiance speaking with the Fire Prince. The way they spoke made her feel uneasy, she would have to look into that later.

Alice pushes her way through the crowd around the Princesses, stopping in front of Princess Kai. She hikes her skirt up to kneel at the young girls level, meeting her surprised gaze head on. Alice says nothing, instead choosing to maintain her steely eyed intense stare into Kai's eyes. After a few moments of intense awkwardness, Alice cracks a smile and embraces the young girl.
"Welcome to the family little sister. Please treat my sensitive younger brother kindly." she says with a kind sisterly smile. She tightens the her hug on the little girl, positioning her head over the girls shoulder. With a tone as cold as ice, she whispers into the girl's ear, "Because if you don't... I'm always watching."

The daughter releases Princess Kai, standing up straight and fixing her dress. She turns to Teno and says "I heard about what happened Teno. Such a shame. I assure you that between the overreaction of an army that your brother brought and my own forces, you will be perfectly safe here." Alice once again looks to Kai, giving her a sly smile. "Now if you ladies will excuse me, I must have words with my Fiance and that brother of yours Teno." Alice turns to leave, making her way to towards the Griffin, with her team silently following close behind.

Quietly whining in surprise like a horse, the Kelpie servant was pushed aside by a woman with her own guards and he was expecting her to say an apology or an 'excuse me'; but she didn't. He snorted, disgruntled, as his eyes narrowed; watching the very awkward interaction of...he's guessing the Industrial daughter since she said 'Welcome to the family' to Kai. Sure. Welcome, indeed.

Rein looked at the others around him before his eyes went back to the Industrial princess with narrowed eyes. That's someone to look out for in the future, that's for sure. He wondered if her brother will be like that as well.

"Yes...It's best to be safe then sorry..."
He said out loud positively and confidently as she left. "It's wonderful to know that even the other royal families understand how serious the situation is, all things considered."

Lucine Briarheart
"To Be Revealed"

Lucine was mindlessly arranging her items on her table and smoothing out the cloth when a very dapper Purrsian man approached her and began to set up in the stall next door. Such a fine looking fellow and such fine ware would possibly draw a better crowd to her. It had been very long time since she had seen a Purrsian and she beamed at him. This day was going to be full of more diversity than she could have ever imagined.
"Good morning. Quite a spread, isn't it? It's like a festival of sorts, there are so many new things."
"Good morning to you as well, sir. Yes, it's awfully exciting, isn't it?" She said as he looked over her booth. alongside him were a small Kitsune girl and a large... someone. Bodyguard maybe? They commented on the food and continued to prepare their stall. They were right, it did smell good.
"I have to say, and I'm sure you hear it more often than you can bare, but your designs are gorgeous. You're an incredibly gifted tailor. I'm lucky to be included among such gifted artisans on this historic day." As she spoke a young man approached the tailor's booth. Lucine recognized him instantly as the Dark Prince. She had spent a considerable amount of her time between kingdoms and knew the royalty by face. He greeted the tailor, and the Kitsune girl greeted him. Lucine gave a small curtsy, unsure of her position.
"Good morning, your highness," she said with a smile.

Flynn Wulfgar
"To Be Revealed"

Flynn smiled easily at the two princesses. The Water Princess became instantly uneasy around the Dark Princess. It was easy to understand why from a political standpoint, being that the Water Domain was allied with the Fire Kingdom. The enemy of my friend is also my worrisome foe, he supposed. Still, Penelope seemed to have a gentleness to her that the other royalty were overlooking. The Dark Realm had a bad reputation among the other kingdoms, perhaps even worse than the Industrial Kingdom.
A guard from the Fire Kingdom approached her and Kai blurted out, "I'm so sorry I really must go my water needs some hippo perhaps we can talk more later!" Flynn laughed gently at her flustered response, as well as her servant who claimed he needed to help her hippo her water. It was understandable that all the royalty would be a little out of sorts on this day. As he watched he walk away
"It's nice to meet you Flynn, Please just called me Penelope," said the Dark Princess from behind her. He turned to see her make her way to the unoccupied piano. She guessed partially right that his stress was from the unfinished song, though the other reason would have been impossible for her to even start at. "I'm a musician too, maybe I could help you finish the song?"
Flynn raised his eyebrows, very amused at this proposition. He had seen how she had startled they anxious Fire Princess, who was a renowned musician within her kingdom. It was funny for him to see the similarities between the two girls who had nothing but deep tension between them. Still, anxiety took on odd forms from person to person. If this was going to help Penelope, he would play along. He was confident in his ability, but was curious.
"I'm having a bit of trouble with writing a decent part for your kingdom, Penelope. Perhaps you could... ah how to say. Play from the heart? What your kingdom means to you. It would be more than I could ever create without your input," he said as he sat on the bench next to her, glass in hand. He gave her a wink and motioned to the keys.

Teno Wycleff
Fire Princess

"What a piece of work. But if anyone can handle her, it's your brother. But no matter what her brother is like, I promise you that you won't go through it alone." Said Rose. Teno felt the flames on her hands vanish and be replaced by the cool breeze. She gazed at Rose lovingly. How could someone she just met already mean so much to her? She watched as Rose got a mischievous grin and glint in her eyes. She suggested really going through with her swap test theory and even spun around in her enchanted rose petal dress. The dress was a gift from Devon Bronson, who Teno could now see starting to set up. She also saw Vincent setting up his booth. Teno gazed over toward the booths, thinking a moment, before turning back with a deep sigh. She gave the box a squeeze.
"That would be outstanding, Rose. But... I can barely take a step these days without an entire Fire Kingdom parade. Besides, my parents would scold me until the end of time. 'Teno you have to make a good impression with your betrothed.'" Teno said in a bad mockery of her mother. She laughed and winked at Rose. "Not to mention, how disappointed would they be to discover that I'm the princess compared with you."
Before she could say much more she noticed that Kai and a small group of her Water Domain friends were approaching them with Tamara. "Why hello there stranger!" Greeted Kai. Teno embraced her friend and held her at arm's length to admire her dress. She greeted her and the quiet man and woman with her, complimenting all their outfits. They had just begun chatting when a strange new woman approached them.
This woman was strikingly beautiful and Teno felt all at once her age. This woman was a grown adult, with full lips and dark hair. Her outfit spoke of Industrial nobility. Teno watched in amazement, with her jaw nearly slack as the woman stooped to Kai's height and embraced her. Kai's eyes were wide with bewilderment as the woman greeted her warmly and whispered something in her ear. This must be Alice Raveran.
Before anyone could get a word in the woman turned to Teno and spoke. "I heard about what happened Teno. Such a shame. I assure you that between the overreaction of an army that your brother brought and my own forces, you will be perfectly safe here. Now if you ladies will excuse me, I must have words with my Fiance and that brother of yours Teno."
Teno could only vaguely gesture to where her brother stood, speaking with Kale. Presumably he was showing Kale his griffon. Kurt was known to brag about Dawnwing whenever given the chance. The woman strode away with confidence that Teno could only dream of and she watched her with a deeply confused expression. She shared glances with the others around her. All at once she knew that Alice Raveran was someone to be feared and admired.
"She's very... intense. So that's what the Industrial Empire is like," she wondered aloud. She gave Kai a sympathetic squeeze on the shoulder. "I wonder what he brother must be like."
It was then she realized that she had not really met the Industrial Son or the Dark Prince. They were perhaps the only two people that had yet to be found. She leaned back to Tamara and whispered to her, "Please keep an eye out for Danil Draven. I don't want him to surprise me the way his charming sister did."
"It's wonderful to know that even the other royal families are taking this matter seriously. I am glad the Industrial princess even offered her men to protect you as well, Princess Teno. Better to be overly prepared and ready with good men and women than to believe it is a joke and be surprised by the possible dangers from strangers. I am sure that anybody with family they love very much will understand why your brother take such procedures. Just like the Industrial princess, it seems. We're all very lucky to have such an understanding between one another. Truly remarkable." Said Kai's male friend.

"It was very kind of her to offer. I suppose knowing what this alliance means to everyone, she understands the danger we are all in. The Red Bandit is still out there. My brother does what he must do and I admire him deeply. He's a good man," said Teno as she glanced back at her brother. The others made their replies and she listened uneasily.
Feeling the awkward atmosphere around them Teno had an idea. "Perhaps we should go visit Vincent and Devon Bronson! It's been far too long since I've seen either. Kai, I understand Mr. Bronson is making your dress as well. Perhaps if we beg he'll show us a sneak peek?"

Tamara Esgard
Guard

"Likewise. It is an honor to meet you as well." Tamara seemed to have guessed right about the person following Princess Kai. It was her servant named Rein, Eärendil Rein. "It is truly a pleasure to meet you too," Princess Kai added, "umm I'm sorry I didn't catch your name."
"Oh my name? I'm Tamara Esgard, personal guard of Princess Teno.", she introduced herself, bowing once more. She listened closely to Kai's description of the weather, the culture and all, while they were walking back to where Tamara had stood before. Although the differences were slim, as the Princess had mentioned, it still seemed like a completely different world to her. It was all just so interesting.

"Perhaps we can arrange for you to visit soon? Of course, you'd have to come along with my dear friend Teno." Tamara seemed to smile even brighter than before, if that was even possible. "I would love to accept this offer.", she replied, laughing lightheartedly. After she heard a faint sound, she followed the Princess' gaze, only to see what looked like a miniature hippo in her arms. She couldn't but smile at it. 'Who wouldn't smile at something so cute?'

As they arrived Princess Kai didn't seem to waste a single second before interacting with Rose. Tamara stood a little further away behind the group of royals, and watched carefully around. It wasn't too long until another person joined them, followed by multiple man. The tall woman got down to eye-level with Kai, and eyed her, before hugging her. It all just seemed so surreal to Tamara, but she definitely wasn't the only one. Confusion was written all over the faces of several other people. The tall woman seemed to be talking to Kai, but Tamara wasn't able to hear most of it, apart from a few words like: 'family', 'sister' and 'brother', before whispering something into Kai's ear. She turned around to Princess Teno, this time Tamara was able to hear her more clearly.
"I must have words with my Fiance and that brother of yours Teno." Tamara's confused frown soon shifted to an enlightened expression. 'So that is the Industiral Daughter, huh?', she thought to herself, as she watched her leave again. She shook her head lightly, trying to forget what just had happened and to not waste any further thought on it, before getting back into her position behind Princess Teno.

After the Industrial Daughter had left their sight, Teno leaned back to Tamara. She requested her to look out for Danil Draven, the Prince of the Dark Kingdom, to avoid another disastrous meeting such as this one. Tamara nodded, before looking up again and scanning the surroundings for said Prince. 'Of course someone wouldn't feel at ease after such an encounter... she sure had some nerves..'

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai hadn't even really gotten to strike up much conversation with her friend before she was eye to eye with a very intimidating woman. Kai stared back at her and avoided glaring by looking confused instead. She felt belittled due to the woman obviously stooping to look her straight in the eyes, but she knew she couldn't let her emotions so like that. The next thing she knew the woman was embracing her and Kai felt all too awkward but returned the embrace, as to not be perceived as rude. "Welcome to the family little sister. Please treat my sensitive younger brother kindly. Because if you don't... I'm always watching." Kai felt her breath leave her body as, who she now knew was the Industrial Princess, tightened her grip around her. She cold feel the harsh cold tone in her voice run through her whole body. It seemed yet again Kai's nerves had be shot. She didn't know what to say or do as Alice continued to speak and then was off in the direction of her brother.

Luckily Rein came to her rescue and spoke up as Aliced walked away. She didn't catch as he had said, but all that mattered were how his words calmed her once again. Next Teno spoke too, "She's very... intense. So that's what the Industrial Empire is like," She gave Kai a sympathetic squeeze on the shoulder. "I wonder what he brother must be like." Kai looked down at Hope and a small tear escaped her, "Yeah she was very intense, for Hope's sake let's pray he is not the same." The thought of giving Hope as gift to the prince started to feel like not such a great idea anymore. "Perhaps we should go visit Vincent and Devon Bronson! It's been far too long since I've seen either. Kai, I understand Mr. Bronson is making your dress as well. Perhaps if we beg he'll show us a sneak peek?" Kai smiled at Teno's suggestion, but was feeling too drained from her interaction with her soon to be sister-in-law.

"Princess Kai, would you like me to bring some water for the little one?" Rein asked softly. Kai used his suggestion as an excuse to get away from the festivities until she felt herself again. "Actually, I'll join you Hope loves when I make her whirlpools to play in. I'm sure there's enough water somewhere for me to make one for her," Kai nervously looked at Teno,"Thank you for your offer. I'm sorry to just say hi and bye, but I seem to keep forgetting myself today, I hope you understand. I promise we can talk more a little later!" Kai giggled nervously then turned to Rein, "Now let's go find that water." She gave a quick curtsy to the group and winked at Teno.

Kai walked away from the group next to him and grabbed a pitcher of water from one of the waiters. "Grab another will you?" Kai headed towards one of the trees and sat in the shade with Hope. Her dress spread out around her creating a circle of blue hues, she placed Hope in front of her and the hippo immediately began rolling around on the fabric. Kai laughed as she watched her, and began to finally feel more herself.

Happy to see Kai calm again, Rein nodded at Teno's description of the Industrial daughter; She's too much. His eyes narrowed again when he noticed that tear and snorted quietly. So he made the suggestion to get some water for Hope while she can spend time with the Princess of the Fire kingdom. To his surprise, she decided to g with him instead.

"Actually, I'll join you Hope loves when I make her whirlpools to play in. I'm sure there's enough water somewhere for me to make one for her,"

Rein nodded with his eyes closed, smiling pleasantly. "Of course, Princess." He waited as the princess giggled nervously to Teno before turning to him again. "Now let's go find that water." Rein bowed with a soft good-bye to the group before walking behind Kai, keeping an eye out for anyone else that might come near them. As the princess grabbed a pitcher of water, the Kelpie did the same; he grabbed two pitchers in case she wanted more.

Once they settled under the shade of the trees with Hope rolling on her dress that she spread out, Rein placed the pitchers down to the ground. Then with a charming smile, he asked, "Do you think Hope will like bubbles?"

If Princess Kai said yes, Rein would clap his hands together before making a cupping motion. When he opened his hands, small crystal clear orbs of air floated up from his palms, shining under the sun before popping. He made more if it calmed Kai and Hope liked it. She knows it's just part of his magic and that it was harmless.

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

Kai nodded happily at Rein's suggestion, "Of course she'll love some bubbles." Kai watched happily as Rein created beautifully clear bubbles for the hippo. Hope was ecstatic and began chasing them around Kai, every so often they would pop and Hope would shake her head. "I'm really going to miss having her with me, she's been so much fun to take care of." Kai grab to two pitchers Rein had set down and began moving her hands gently above them. The water began to rise from each of the three pitchers and swirled together to for a single orb. "Do you think I've made a mistake in giving him Hope?" Kai sighed, "What if he's as harsh as Alice?" Hope had noticed to orb of water and began to run below it happily. Kai moved a stream of water down and lifted the hippo up into the orb, she then moved her hand clockwise and the water in the orb began to swirl around Hope. She looked towards the festivities letting the concern on her face show, "Speaking of the prince, I've been so flustered I forgot to look for him, did you notice him yet Rein?"

Rein looked up from watching Hope chasing the bubbles around Kai, tilting his head as he listened. As the princess created an orb of water from all three pitchers, he pondered on her questions. "Do you think I've made a mistake in giving him Hope?" Kai sighed, making Rein's small dislike for Alice grow a little more."What if he's as harsh as Alice?"

The Kelpie shook his head softly, clapping his hands again to create more bubbles. He looked around to make sure no one will hear him speak and looked back at the Princess. "Kai," He started quietly,"I think we have to meet the Prince first before making quick judgements. Just because his sister is harsh doesn't mean he will be. Give the Prince a chance first." He isn't one to judge someone based on other people's actions.

Then he smiled comfortingly. "Besides, I think giving Hope to him is a wonderful idea. Maybe he can see that you're very caring and would invite ." He will still keep his suspicions to himself though, just in case the prince isn't as ... charming as he hoped for Kai.

"Speaking of the prince, I've been so flustered I forgot to look for him, did you notice him yet Rein?" The Kelpie shook his again. "No, I haven't yet....Hm...Maybe he is still near his airships?" Rein secretly gestured at the flying contraptions that landed before. "You want to say hi to him? You know I'll be right behind you in case you need something." Besides the Prince needs to get used to him being around Kai in his kingdom. Who knows, he might even serve him too ... if he's nice enough to ask first.

"That would be outstanding, Rose. But... I can barely take a step these days without an entire Fire Kingdom parade... Not to mention, how disappointed would they be to discover that
I'm the princess compared with you."

Rose could feel the sadness emanating off Teno. She wanted nothing more then to grab her by the hand and make a break for it, but she knew they wouldn't make it more then a few steps before they'd be surrounded by every guard from Homeland to the Fire Kingdom. There had to be something she could do, some way to sneak away, even for a few minutes.

Before she could finish her train of thought, Tamara returned with Princess Kai. While she and Teno talked, Rose peaked over at the booths that were still in the middle of setting up, formulating a scheme. However before she could connect the dots, her thought process was once again interrupted. A tall intimidating looking woman stepped into the middle of the group, having pushed her way through Teno's guards. The woman seemed familiar to Rose, but she could not place her face. She watched as the woman moved directly towards Kai, Princess Kai ignoring everyone else in the crowd. The mysterious woman knelt down, staring the young girl right in the eyes before saying
"Welcome to the family little sister."

Rose suddenly remembered a memory from her childhood. She had met this woman before, the Industrial Daughter, at an engineers party at the massive Industrial Family Mansion. Even as a teen, the woman was intimidating. Everyone fought for her attention, but she showed no interest and would often respond with cold matter of fact responses. Simply put, the Industrial Daughter was not someone to take lightly, and she thanked Teno's fate that she had the luck to not have to deal with that family.

The Industrial Daughter finally moved her attention from Princess Kai to Teno, surprisingly offering her the services of her forces, before walking off. The woman walked with so much determined confidence, that she felt sorry for the next person that would encounter that force of nature. The group remained silent for a few moments, as they had been at the Daughter's arrival.

"Perhaps we should go visit Vincent and Devon Bronson! It's been far too long since I've seen either. Kai, I understand Mr. Bronson is making your dress as well. Perhaps if we beg he'll show us a sneak peek?"

Rose suddenly remembered what she had been planning before the interruption, Teno's words completing the last bit of her idea. She turned to watch Kai and her male companion excuse herself, before taking Teno's hands excitedly. With her signature mischievous grin, she
addressed Teno and Tamara.
"Princess, I have an idea! Please wait 10 minutes and meet me at Mr. Bronson's booth! Please watch out for her miss Wolf!" and with that, the excited girl took off happily running towards the booths.

Rose could feel the happiness swelling in her chest, her mission long forgotten. This woman she had been sent to sabotage not meant more to her than anything else. She finally had a friend, and she would do anything to nurture their relationship. As she reached the booths, she frantically ran to each one, picking up tablecloths, a tea pot, flowers, and anything else to fulfill her plan. When she was finally satisfied, she hopped over to Mr. Bronson's booth and almost straight into another important looking person with an unfamiliar face that was speaking with the Purrsian.

"I'm so sorry to interrupt your conversation sir, but I have important business regarding the Fire Princess to speak with Mr. Bronson." Rose tried bowing, but could only manage a slight movement as the items in her arms danced around unbalanced. She turned to face the Purrsian and whispered as quietly as she could. "Mr. Bronson, do you happen to have a changing room the Princess, her guard, and I could borrow for a few minutes? We would all be extremely grateful!"

Penelope Draven: Dark Princess
Location: Homeland
Company: Flynn Wulfgarr

"From the heart?" Penelope says slightly bewildered but Flynn gestured to the keys as Penelope nodded silently as she placed her hand on the keys playing a few simple chords first just so she could get a feel for the piano. Penelope sat for a moment in silence as she had to really concentrate if she was going to play without any recollection of what she was about to play and so the young women's face set like stone "From the heart" Penelope says to herself quietly as she gently pressed the keys her fingers quickly moving as the melody began to form. The beginning of the melody was slow and in a way sorrowful as the tempo kept slowing down and speeding up as insecurity seemed to come through in the melody as Penelope was really pouring out her soul onto the keys of the piano; she was beginning to express the true feelings that she had buried deep inside herself as the melody picked up but the melody wasn't sweet or harmonious but like someone was still searching for something, still searching for who they are and what they want.

Penelope was so engrossed in the music that she blocked out everything as her eyes darted from the keys but in the background the once chatty Dark Realm soldiers had been silenced by the melody drifting from the piano as they watched their princess with such excitement in their eyes as no one had really heard her play her piano in public since the spring festival a few years ago. Penelope fingers were being so far stretched across the keys that the tips of her fingers turned bright red while her knuckles turned a pale white colour as the strain on Penelope's hands grew as the melody intensified but suddenly the melody softened put as she played soft chords accompanied by a sweet overtune as if the pianist had found themselves and what they wanted and everything was alright again.

Penelope lifted her hands off the keys gently rubbing her fingers as they were slightly sore from being stretched but Penelope seemed happy with her small performance "How was that?" Penelope asked looking up at Flynn with hopeful eyes.

_Devon Bronson_
- Table beside Lucine's, Homeland -

The tailor smiled, bowing, at Lucine, "Your praise is much appreciated, ma'am. Earnest praise I never get tired of." After speaking to his friends, he turned to speak to her some more, when a voice spoke from behind him and he heard Koko's chipper greeting, and their stall neighbor's graceful one.

'Your highness?' thought Devon. Which highness was this one? Suddenly, he realized this man looked much like the paintings of prince Danil in the Dark Realm, but in disguise for some reason. What a very sharp eye this lady from the orphanage has. Well he wasn't about to blow the prince's cover.

Abandoning the third mannequin he was fitting with some woven straw shoes, the tailor inclined his head in welcome to him. "You shall have that pleasure, good sir," said Devon, extending a stubby paw to shake, "Devon Bronson, at your service!"

It was then that a lady, the lady in fact who had saved princess Teno's life days ago, hopped over to them. He leaned down to hear her whisper, a cat ear swiveling her way, and then briskly nodded. "Excuse me a for a moment, sir --- Koko!" he called his assistant. "Please show Miss Vindell our collection of buttons. Miss Vindell, this is my assistant Koko, she will gladly attend to your needs." he added gracefully, his tail swishing.

Those buttons were at the tent the kitsune had set up, along with the other secret things he wanted to keep secret, but he was sure his assistant had that taken care of.

"Sorry for the interruption. Now, what can I do for you, sir?" he clapped his paws together.

Benjamin Raveran
Industrial Son

Benjamin felt his sister's hand on his cheeks as she wiped away the tears, then he felt her warm embrace. Boy, did he wish they could stay like that forever. But then reality called, and his sister had let him go. Benjamin barly could register what she said, before she walked off, leaving him sat their hunched over.

A few minutes, and Benjamin just sat their, his eyes were a bit red but were staring at the cold floor in front of him, his mind was completely blank.

Then he heard footsteps behind him, but he did not turn around. Then he saw a pair of legs in blue stand in front of him, but he did not look up. The person in front of him then took a knee, and that person was Henry. The older veteran looked at Benjamin's face, sighing, he glanced downwards for a secound and adjusted his hat with one hand before looking Benjamin directly in the eyes.

"Son, I know how bad this whole thing is... with your sister...bad things happen like that..."
The sergeant took another secound to think about his word choice, before again looking the at the Industrial Son in the Eye. "...but...just because bad thing happen, doesn't mean that it's all over. We all lose...alot, in life, but that shouldn't stop us from moving forward.."

"Mousier Coleman is right." A voice from behind Benjamin said, as Pélissie legs strolled into view. A handkerchief was offered to the young man, who took it, nodded and mumbled a thanks, before blowing into it.

"Your welcome, mon ami." Pélissie said, as he watched the young man with a sad smile. "It is not uncommon for us to lose someone we love in our lives, yet time will move on...we then have two options: choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or choose to rise from the pain and treasure the things we have today."

It was then Benjamin looked up to see their faces. First he looked at Henry's face, who gave him encouraging nod, then he looked at Pélissie, who was still giving him a sad smile.

"Now, mon ami, you must now decide, between the first choice...or the secound choice." Pélissie said, extending his hand and offering it to Benjamin as Henry stood up. Benjamin looked at Pélissie's hand for a moment, before he wiped off the last of his tears, and took the Liutunent's hand. "I choice the secound choice."

"Excellent choix." Pélissie said, his smile grew before pulling the young man up to his feet and patting him on the side of the shoulder.

"Excuse me lads, I am I interrupting a moment." A new voice was heard by all three of them. Benjamin turned, now he was smiling, to see Ferdrick standing there. "Not at all Freddy, what's the matter?"

"Didn't mean to bother ya, but we gotta get goin', we're the last ones."
Ferdrick said, thumbing behind him at the last transport blimp in the hanger.

"You heard him, mes amies." Pélissie said as he took a few casual steps forward, before turning sideways to look at the other two, then at Benjamin specifically. "Let's not keep your princess waiting."

Benjamin nodded, then he felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked up to see Henry, who gave him a simple nod, before walking towards the transport blimp.

Benjamin stood their for a moment, watching his friends walk over to the blimp where his own lifeguards were gathering.

"Hey guys."

The three men turned their heads to look and glance at Benjamin.

"Thanks..." Benjamin said, initally with his head pointed towards the ground, before he raised it to look at all of them with a smile. "...for everything."

Pélissie and Henry looked at each other, both of them were smiling. Fredrick just crossed his arms in the background, just shaking his head as he grinned.

"It's our pleasure, petit." Pélissie said, as he looked back at Benjamin. "Now come, we've delayed enough already."

With that, the three men started walking towards the transport blimp again, this time with the Induestrial Son running after them...
________________________________________________________________________________
Benjamin's blimp was the last to touch down at the festival. As the doors open, Benjamin walked out still holding his little box. The sun shined stright into his face, as he moved a hand up to shield his eyes.

Henry and Pélissie were following right behind him, Ferdrick had told them he had to check somthing on the blimp, and said he'd catch up. Henry had on his mechanical suit on, though he was without his gatling gun, as to not intimnate anyone, and Pélissie had a rifle strapped to his back with a pistol on his belt. Benjamin's own lifeguards filed out after him, forming four lines, two on each side. The guards did not look anything like Alice's team, fact was they looked much more ceremonial, with their grey uniforms and their pickelhaubes on their heads, but they were still functional.

"Mon Dieu! Have you've ever seen anything this beautiful?" Pélissie said, his body language was open, as he strolled forward, taking a deep breath. "Ah! The air is not choked with fumes! What a lovely feeling, no?"

"Brings back memories."
Henry said, his face was much grimmer, as he scanned the area. "Too many memories..."

"Ah yes, the war." Pélissie said, his eyes had become downcast but his simile remained. Benjamin glanced between the two, he knew both of them had fought in the wars against his fiance's nation. It was times like these that made him feel miserable about his position. Many of his friends were shipped off to war that Benjamin himself did not even notice, and in ways his marriage seemed to have put all they fought for to waste.

Man, was he so much an aristocrat.

"Those were unfortunate times...but we shouldn't sully the moment."
Pélissie turned, he faced back at Henry and Benjamin, his smile didn't seem to falter. "This day is a day we put our past behind us, a day that we put down our arms and shake hands for peace. Not to mention, this will be one of mousier Raveran's greatest moments."

"I suppose your right."
Henry said, as he continued to scan the crowed. "I wonder where that young lassy is?"

"Hmm." Pélissie whirled around, putting a hand over his eyes, he began scanning the crowed himself. "Où oh où est cette petite princesse?"

Yoko continued to prepare the tent after greeting the young man she didn't want to mess with. Her three tails swaying playfully as she sang a random song; jumping up with blue flames as she yanked the tarp over the frames. She tied each corner securely on each corner and sighed as she wiped her forehead with a huge grin. She was about to unload the sewing machine and other necessary items from the case when Devon called for her.

"Excuse me a for a moment, sir --- Koko!" he called. "Please show Miss Vindell our collection of buttons. Miss Vindell, this is my assistant Koko, she will gladly attend to your needs."

She quickly walked up to him and the pretty lady, saluting by plopping her hand to her forehead and standing straight. "Hello! I'm Yoko but please call me Koko!" The little kitsune chirped with a bright smile. "Please! This way, Ma'am! This way!"

As Yoko showed Rose inside the spacious tent, she would see cases that are stacked up and a table has a single case open; inside are the collection of buttons that Yoko had opened before. "Here you are, Miss Vindell! Buttons of all kinds: shiny, glittery, pastels, glass, crystals, and more. I'll be right here if you need anything!" Her white ears perked up, attentive.

If any of the men looked near the trees, they will see a young lady with blue hair and dress sitting under the shade with a tall young man sitting in front of her. They seem to be talking while the orb of water swirled around and the man's hands had bubbles floating out for the baby hippo to chase. They would see the young man looking over where the airships are before looking back at the princess with a gentle look.

"Look Kai, I believe that's him right now..." Rein squinted his eyes secretly and snorted like a horse. "I think...? I don't know which one, but I suppose we can say hello?"

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai sat conversing with Rein about whether or not the prince had shown up and if she should approach him first or not, until Rein finally thought he'd spotted him. "Look Kai, I believe that's him right now...I think...? I don't know which one, but I suppose we can say hello?" Kai shook her head and continued to concentrate on keeping Hope aloft in the whirlpool. "Do you really think he's one of them..." Kai spoke nervously and looked at the face of each man standing by the airships,"I can't really tell which one he could be, and I'm not in the mood to embarrass myself anymore than I have already." She looked back to Rein,"Perhaps he will come to me? Unless you'd like to fetch him, after all you seem more excited and anxious." Kai's hands began to shake causing spurts of water to be ejected from the whirlpool onto her and Rein. "Oh jeeze sorry Rein..." Kai slowed down the water until it came to a stop,"I'll get the water off you just let me put Hope down." Kai waved a hand and the water lowered the hippo gently onto her lap again. Using one hand to hold the large mass and one hand to wave the water out of Rein's suit and her dress, Kai dried the two off and reformed the orb. She was so focused on the task she abandoned her attention on the men by the airship, and didn't notice Hope beginning to saunter over curiously in their direction.

"I'm only this excited because I'm anxious." Rein said, grinning sheepishly. It's a bad habit of his; to move around a lot when he's nervous. Then he yelped and jumped when water spurted from the water orb, wetting his fancy clothes. After a few seconds of processing what just happened, the kelpie chuckled quietly.

"Oh jeeze sorry Rein...I'll get the water off you just let me put Hope down." Rein nodded, smiling in good humor as the princess put Hope down and drying them off by pulling the water out of their clothes. "Thank you, Kai. It's okay, stuff happens on a daily basis." He reassured her. The Kelpie servant didn't pay attention to Hope until he realized that the little creature is nowhere around the princess and he quickly looked around. Only to see the baby hippo going closer to the group of men by the airships.

"Oh no..." Rein stood up from his spot, "Pardon me Kai." After giving her a quick bow, he chased after the little hippo who headed straight to Benjamin.

Rose Vindell 2.jpg
"Thank you Miss Yoko... umm I mean Koko." As koko left the tent, Rose looked around at all the beautiful trinkets and odds and ends painstakingly organized by the tailoring masters. Had she more time, she would have loved to have used as much of the items as she could, but Princess Teno and Tamara would be arriving any minute. She quickly went to work, setting a table for 3, hanging drapes and trying her best not to disturb anything in the borrowed tent. Mr. Bronson was nice enough to do her this favor, the least she could do was insure that she did not hinder his business for too long.

Rose worked quickly as the seconds crept by. She took a step back, looking proudly at what she had done. She knew it wasn't perfect, as it was the first time she'd ever done anything like this for anyone. Rose only hoped that it would be enough to give Teno even the slightest of reprieve.

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai had finally felt satisfied with how well she'd dried them off, but then she heard Rein with panic in his voice, "Oh no...Pardon me Kai." Before she knew what was wrong Rein was off running in the direction of the men at the airship, Crap what's going on now. She tossed the watery orb back into the pitchers and pushed herself off the ground. Kai turned to pick up Hope and follow Rein, but she couldn't find her anywhere. "Hope? HOPE!?" Kai started to panic, her heart was racing and her eyes grew watery as she twirled around desperately looking for the hippo.

Kai's gaze shot towards where Rein had run off to and with a closer look she saw her beloved hippo carelessly walking straight up to one of the industrial men who was holding some sort of box. "HOPE!!" She yelled with both fear and joy in her voice. Knowing she'd never be able to catch her fast enough, she kicked off her heals and ran after Rein, who was running after Hope. Kai prayed that she would be able to prevent anything from happening to her little Hope. She yelled towards the men the hippo was now sitting in front of, "HEY!! HEY!! WAIT!! SHE'S JUST A BABY!!" Kai was panting heavily from practically sprinting, but she could see that Rein was now within reach of the little hippo, "REIN!! GET HER!!"

As she got closer to the group Kai slowed her pace. Her feet were aching from the run and her face was red and tear stained. Standing next to Rein, she bent over slightly while holding her waist and addressed the group of men that almost towered over her, "Oh my gosh... I'm..so sorry..my hippo...sorry...to interrupt your conversation." Kai looked over at Hope, who was totally as carefree as could be,"You scared me so much little one!" Finally having caught her breath she returned her attention to the men staring at her, "My deepest apologies, chaos just seems to become me today." Kai curtsied and decided it would be rude not to introduce herself, not matter how embarrassed she was,"Hi, I'm Princess Kai Baymoon. Umm, this is Rein and you've already met Hope. It's a pleasure to meet the people of the Industrial Empire." Kai smiled and laughed nervously looking at the men.

As the princess ordered, Rein didn't slow down. When Hope sat on the ground, the Kelpie gently grabbed the baby hippo, cradling her in his arms. He coo-ed, taking a step back from the men in front of him. "Silly little one, you wouldn't want to worry Princess Kai-"

"Oh my gosh... I'm..so sorry..my hippo...sorry...to interrupt your conversation."

Rein leaned down a bit so Kai can see Hope who's safe and okay. When the princess curtsied at the men, the Kelpie bowed, holding Hope close to his chest so she wouldn't fall. Then he stood up straight, not saying anything as the Princess introduced them to the group of men.

"Hello." Rein greeted calmly, standing close to the princess as if he wanted to support her and calm her down. "Truly it's a pleasure to meet the people of the Industrial Empire. If I may ask, what are your names, Gentlemen?"

His Highness Danil Draven Crown Prince of the Dark Kingdom
Homeland
A certain Purrsian tailor and co.

Danil acknowledged the greeting from the kitsune with a pleasant nod before answering the girl in the booth next door with a smile. It didn't touch his eyes. She had identified him with a single look in a way that much of the royalty wouldn't be able to and she had spoken out. His eyes were cold and hard. But, that look only lasted a moment as he received a warm welcome from the very Purrsian that he had wanted to find. And yet, just as he shook the paw of the most famous tailor in the kingdoms, and was going to talk business, there was an interruption from someone attached to the entourage of the very princess that he was here to see.

He did not bother speaking to one in such a hurry, besides, he didn't want the Fire Kingdom to know his whereabouts just yet. Instead, he simply gave a brief, shallow bow as the lady was swiftly redirected into a tent nearby. It seemed that this tailor's services were in very high demand at present. But, once the lady was occupied within the tent, Danil took two steps sideways and tugged the cord in his hand, urging his pack pony forward.

"I believe a man of your abilities could easily find a few uses for a material of this quality. I happened upon the beast itself while it was sleeping in a most incautious manner." He declared with a mild smile. "I believe that the hide of a high mountain drake is worth quite a bit in the market these days, nevermind clothing made from it."

The large rolled hide was of high quality but there were some parts that had been separated and were bound up, hanging beneath the main hide. The claws, lower forelegs and lower hind legs were carried in this way. They had the pattern of scars that indicate the many small duels fought between drakes as they compete over mates. This hide would harden far more and serve poorly as standard clothing but could be used well for armor, boot soles, hats or other such rigid leather work while the main hide could be made to be extraordinarily soft and supple without losing most of its strength. Its rarity was largely due to the difficulty of the hunt. Drakes of the high mountains didn't fight on the ground but in the air and anything strong enough to challenge one while flying would find itself swarmed by all the drakes in the region shortly after entering the high mountains.
