Benjamin Raveran
Industrial Son

Benjamin was looking around as well, until he noticed a small hippo sitting in front of him.

"Hey, what's that?" Benjamin said, his curious peaked as he squatted down, staring at the little hippo with curiosity as it stared back at him.

"Hm? Oi, par tout ce qui est trou!" Pélissier exclaimed, as he took a knee next to Benjamin, excitement on his face. "What is this adorable petite chose?"

"Is it a rat?" Henry came stalking forward, looking over the shoulders of Benjamin to see.

"Can't be, I mean look at it." Benjamin said, nodding his head at the hippo. "It doesn't have as much fur, and it's tail is so short! Besides, looks so clean compared to a rat."

"Uh eh." Henry shrugged. "Maybe it mutated, things like that's always happening in the sewers."

Benjamin just gave Henry an amused smirk, before he looked back at the little thing with a smile. "It reminds me so much of Powder."

"HEY!! HEY!! WAIT!! SHE'S JUST A BABY!!"

It was then that Pélissier, glancing upwards at the noise, said "Mon mes amies, we've got company." Before he proceeded to stand up and brush himself off a bit as Henry moved forward to receive. Benjamin also stood up, but upon seeing who it was he sank back a bit behind his friends.

There running stright for them was a young man and a younger women, both were well dressed but particularly the younger girl, though she was bare foot. This caused Henry and Pélissier to look at each other, the former with a look of questions and the latter with a look of amusement. Benjamin just kept back trying not to be noticed.

The man came over, sweeping the little hippo off from the ground as the young girl came up panting.

"Oh my gosh... I'm..so sorry..my hippo...sorry...to interrupt your conversation."

"Oh, no, you did not interrupted anything I assure you."
Pélissier was the one to greet them raising his hand to gesture that there was no urgency. Henry just raised his eyebrow at them.

Pélissier watched as the young girl exclaimed to her pet, chuckling a bit at her being so flusters, before observing the girl diverting her attention back onto them. "My deepest apologies, chaos just seems to become me today."

"Please, madame, do not over do yourselves for us."
Pélissier said while raising his hands. "It has been a hectic day for many of us, even if the day is still young."

"Hi, I'm Princess Kai Baymoon. Umm, this is Rein and you've already met Hope. It's a pleasure to meet the people of the Industrial Empire."

"Oh!"
Pélissier exclaimed, his and Henry's eyes widen at the revelation while Benjamin just looked up. Pélissier then proceeded to give bow. "Your highness, I did not realize we were in the company of such esteemed guests, ma parole!"

"Hello. Truly it's a pleasure to meet the people of the Industrial Empire. If I may ask, what are your names, Gentlemen?" Rein asked.

"Oh mon Dieu! Where are my manners?"
Pélissier said as he rose from his bow, putting a hand on his own chest. "I am Lieutenant Jean-Philippe Pélissier..." He thne used the same hand to gesture towards Henry. "...the mousier over there is Sargent Major Henry Colemen..." The sergent snapped to attention before giving a brisk salute. "...and here, is your industrial prince."

Henry, not taking his eyes off of the two newcomers, moved one hand backwards and pushed Bejamin to the forefront.

"I present to you: Benjamin Raveran." Pélissier said with great vigor, before taking a small step backwards as to not steal anymore of the limelight.

Benjamin looked at the Princess right in front of him. Both of his hands were still on his box, and one may have noticed they were still shaking slightly. But Benjamin was able to get the courage to speak.

"Um, hi, uh, how are you doing?" Benjamin said, as he extended a gloved hand from his box in greeting.

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai listened happily to the introduction of all the men until, Oh no "...and here..." no no no "...is your..." please please don't say,"...industrial prince. I present to you: Benjamin Raveran." Kai watched in shock as the men pushed forward the young prince. She felt her face redden again from embarrassment, and could tell Rein was probably holding back laughter. Seriously Hope you're so dead...Kai looked at the face of her future husband and realized he seemed to be about her age.

"Um, hi, uh, how are you doing?" Kai suppressed a small giggle at his greeting. It was definitely not what she expected after her intimidating encounter with Alice and now she felt silly. As he reached out his hand to her Kai noticed its slight trembling and of course the beautifully intricate box it was once holding. Kai curiously studied the boxes design while she extended her hand in return to Benjamin's. "Oh, I guess I'm a bit parched...from the run and all," Kai gestured her free hand behind her in the direction she'd come from,"It's nice to finally meet you Benjamin." Kai kept her hand in his, not quite sure when to pull it away. She'd seen men shake hands plenty of times, but none had ever shook hers. She was more accustomed to bows or hugs, which seemed to be too formal or informal for the two. Perhaps he was going to kiss it just as Flynn did earlier. Kai couldn't help but blush at the whole situation.

Kai slowly looked back and forth between their hands, the box, and Benjamin. Feeling as if it would be rude to bring up possibly his gift to her and because her feet were aching Kai decided maybe sitting and chatting a bit more would ease both of their nerves. "Would you like to come sit with me for a bit?" Kai nodded over to a bench sitting under one of the corners of the gazebo. Before Benjamin could respond she leaned over, still keeping and eye on him, and whispered to Rein desperately,"Would please go get my shoes and maybe a glass of water?"

Rein bit his bottom lip, curling his hand into a fist, and coughed once or twice on it. An amused smile is ever growing on his handsomely sculpted face. The Princess guessed right: he's trying to not laugh. Not when he can see Benjamin being as awkward and shy as Kai is right now. Dare he say it? Yes, he dares, at least internally.

They are so cute.

He watched as Princess Kai hand-shake with the prince and his mischievous looking smile softened up. Perhaps he will like the prince a lot then he thought.

"Would you like to come sit with me for a bit?" Kai asked to the prince before she leans over to Rein and desperately whispered, "Would please go get my shoes and maybe a glass of water?" The Kelpie servant nodded. "Of course. Would you like Hope back?" He whispered back. When she said 'yes', Rein gently passed Hope to Princess Kai's arms and patted the baby hippo's head softly.

Then he looked over at the two men that had introduce the prince with a charming smile. "Would you two gentlemen like to join me? We can talk more while I'll grab something to drink." and get her highness' shoes. He wanted to know more about the prince and his men while leaving the two royal children alone. Under the gazebo...and possibly be friends?

Benjamin Raveran
Industrial Son

The moment Kai's hand met his, Benjamin could not repress a blush that was slowly spreading across his cheeks. But even so, he gave her a firm but to tight handshake. It was how he usually greeted everyone, that or a slight nod, and he didn't see how different this was.

Or at the very least he didn't think it to be different.

Then things got a bit awkward. Benjamin meant to pull away, but then he noticed that the princess was looking at his box. She was probably wondering what was in it, though Benjamin didn't know if she would like it.

Then she looked at him, to which Benjamin's eyes quickly fell away, he felt the flames in his cheeks rise again.

"Would you like to come sit with me for a bit?" Benjamin heard her say.

Benjamin gave a slight nod. "Yeah, uh, I'd like that...you know, if you want to sit with me..." Benjamin then made a move to withdraw his hand to the sound of Pelissier chuckling.

"Would you gentlemen like to join me? We can talk more while I'll grab somthing to drink." Rein then spoke up.

This time Henry was the first to speak up. "I have to see to the men, I'll catch up a with you two later." Henry then casually glanced over to Pelissier. "Keep an eye of the boy will ya?"

"Of course, mon amie." Pelissier said, as Henry gave another salvage, before making an about face and walking back over to Benjamin's house guard.

Pelissier then looked over to Rein. "Then it is just me, mousier Rein, that will have the honor of accompanying you. Though we mustn't wonder far, Benjamin here is still my charge; I would not be forgiven if any harm would befall Benjamin."

Pelissier then proceeded to turn to both Benjamin and Kai. "Mousier Raveran, Princesse Baymoon, enjoy yourselves, but nothing naughty now."

Pelissier proceeded to give the young man a wink, promoting his entire face to go a rather dark shade of red.

"J-Jean!"

This only caused his guard to chuckle a bit harder, though it was a playful chuckle, before he turned to the water kingdom servant. "Now mousier Rein, shall we be off?"

After the two of them left Benjamin turned back to Kai with a apologetic look, though his face was still red.

"I, Jean, didn't mean, I mean, I'm not going to do anything, nothing, uh, you know..." Benjamin then proceeded to trip over his own words, as he felt himself shrink a little."N-not that I'm not saying your not pretty, you are really pretty, um, gosh, but, u-uh, we're both still kinda strangers, you see, but, uh, not for long..."

Benjamin's gaze then fell onto his box, his hat hiding part of his face, and steam was now becoming visible above his head. "I...I mean, uh, let's just...just go take a seat?"

"Then it is just me, mousier Rein, that will have the honor of accompanying you. Though we mustn't wonder far, Benjamin here is still my charge; I would not be forgiven if any harm would befall Benjamin."

Rein smiled, nodding in approval. "Of course! We wouldn't want anything harmful towards our charges."

Then he watched Pelissier turn to both Benjamin and Kai and teased. "Mousier Raveran, Princesse Baymoon, enjoy yourselves, but nothing naughty now." The Kelpie snorted that sounded like a horse's before coughing into his fist again, his cheeks flushed from holding back his laughter.

This man...is wonderful.

"Yes, we shall!"

Once he got himself to calm down, Rein looked at Kai and said with a teasing smile, "We will come back shortly, Princess Kai. Prince Benjamin...Snk-!" He gave Kai a secret thumbs up, still smiling that teasing smile, before walking with Pelissier over to the trees where he picked up Princess Kai's shoes.

"You're a very funny man, Sir Pelissier, and you seem to be comfortable with Prince Benjamin. How did the two of you meet?" Rein asked curiously.

His thumping foot steps could be heard across the field as men scrambled to get to their position, regardless of their hurry they were quick to slow down and make room for the large man to walk through. He walked slowly though with purpose through the crowd his slow lumbering movements making him look even stranger when mixed with his size. To complete his overall theme of largeness he held a wrench the size of a man. The 5ft 51 pound tool was an intimating sight expecially in the giant kin's hands. Of course he knew nothing of the fact he was giant kin ,just larger than most men regardless it didn't matter to him at the moment.
He came close enough to see the prince was busy talking to a woman with a hippo, he honestly would be questioning what the hippo was about now if the woman who had it wasn't busy. He was curios to say the least he picked up a small pebble from the ground he placed it between his index finger and thumb flicking it at the Sargent trying to be inconspicuous. If he got his attention he would wave him over thinking its better to talk to the Sargent than the prince, he seemed busy at them moment.

Jean-Philippe Pélissier
Industrial Lieutenant and Guard

"I've been told women love a man with a great sense of humor." Lieutenant Pélissier chuckled as wandered over to the shoes and watched Reith pick them up. "But to tease mousier Raveran is not at all a challenge; he has no, how you say, experience, with women, other then as a sister. In fact I do believe this is his first courtship."

As Reith would eventually turn about, Pélissier gestured him over to the drink table. As they walked, Pélissier continued. "On the subject of comfort, the young homme gets along with most, though you must give him a little time."

Pélissier then stole a quick glance at his charge and the water princess. "Though I am curious on how long it will take him to be used to a wife."

They promptly arrived at the drink table, to which Pélissier proceed up to pick up two glasses of water and handed one to Reith.

"A pity I cannot engdulge on duty...Et tant de choix..." Pélissier sighed as he took a sip from his glass, before he spoke to Reith again. "As for the question of how we met, it is a tale. I believe we both went to the same primary school, but naturally I was a few grades ahead of him."

Pélissier took out of his glass, then swirled it around as if it was wine. He took another few secounds to gather his thoughts, before continuing. "I believe the first time I've witness him in flesh was in the house of politics; a dreadful and boring place at the best of times...This was after the war, and I was substituting for my father at the time because he had sustained some injuries from a simple fall...Paresseux et gros...but it was there I first laid my eyes upon him."

Pélissier Took another sip of water. "He was proposing a reformation bill, to education for the masses. Quite the proposeal, but unfortunately such things regarding the commoner's well being is not too well received by the house of aristocract... Les vieux bêtes idiotes..."

Pélissier then glanced over to Benjamin, before looking back at Reith. "It may not appear so outright, but mosuier Raveran has quite the mind for progress, but unfortunately not the attitude for politics."

Pélissier only sighed again as he took another sip, looking off into the distance for a bit, before bringing his attention back to Reith. "But, I am deviating too much from your question, how did we meet? Well, we actrually met in the college. You see, I sometimes visit the colleges to...see some lady...acquaintances, friends."

Pélissier gave a slight cough in the middle of his sentence, before regains his posture. "However, from time to time I do sit in on one of the lectures on literature or philosophy, I'd like to think I am at least somewhat educated, and I was sitting in on one class when I spotted him in the front row. This was a about a week after he proposed the reform. After class had ended, I simply went up to him and praised him on his speech. From there, we struck up a conversation."

Pélissier then took another sip of water, this time slightly longer, before using the glass to gesture towards Reith. "And that is the story of how we became aquatinted. What about you and the princesse, i see you serve her, but what is your relation with the la altesse?"

Rein listened to the lieutenant as they made their way to the drink table

"On the subject of comfort, the young homme gets along with most, though you must give him a little time.....Though I am curious on how long it will take him to be used to a wife." The kelpie looked at the guard before peeking over at their charges.

"I see...Oh! Thank you, Sir Pelissier." Rein took the glass of water and sipped on the refreshing liquid.

"A pity I cannot engdulge on duty...Et tant de choix..."He nodded in agreement, smiling in amusement." I understand that feeling all to well." It's been a while since he drank anything that had liquor but he had to stay clean for this job. To stay aware and be on guard for the Princess' sake.

The more he listened to Pelissier, the more Rein realized that the Prince might have the right heart and morals for his people but unfortunately does not have the backbone. The kelpie wondered why as the royalty tend to have power; then again their kingdoms are different. He shouldn't judge the Industrial Empire just yet anyways.

He raised a questioning and amused eyebrow when the guard stumbled in his sentence, chuckling a bit. "Uh-huh. Friends and acquaintances." Rein teased lightly before sipping the water again. His ice blue eyes looked over to the prince and princess to check on how they are doing before looking back at the lieutenant, listening to the rest.

"I see. Heh. The Prince is really something then if that's the case." Rein commented warmly, a bit amazed too.

"And that is the story of how we became aquatinted. What about you and the princesse, i see you serve her, but what is your relation with the la altesse?"

Rein pondered for a moment, staring at the clear liquid in his half emptied cup and sighed. "Well you are right; I'm the personal servant to Princess Kai but I'm more of a childhood friend since we grew up together."

"I was perhaps...fourteen when I first saw Princess Kai. She was...under a lot of stress at the time and I heard she would sneak out of the kingdom. So I followed her." Then he chuckled, nostalgic. "She found me - or well more like I fell and almost cracked my head open on a rock while following her again. Princess Kai was so kind too. She bandaged my head and after talking a bit, we became friends."

Rein sipped his water and sighed again. "Sometimes she would be so nervous and I would take her out to swim underwater for hours until she felt better. Of course we couldn't go out as much as we grew up. Since she's getting married to Prince Benjamin and all." The Kelpie servant missed those days where they would just laugh the day away before going back home. He'd invite her brother if he ever wanted to go swimming too.

After finishing his cup, he reached over for two empty cups and a pitcher of water to place them on a tray; Rein gestured his head towards the couple under the gazebo. "Mind if we go back? My lady is thirsty and needs her shoes." The Kelpie said, lifting the pretty heels up a bit as he held the tray with one hand. Balancing it with little issue.

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai's face felt like it was in a constant state of blush. The comments of Monsieur Pelissier didn't help and by the sound of it Benjamin didn't like it either. Kai softly bounced Hope in her arms after Rein gave her to Kai. As Rein and Pelissier walked way she turned her attention back to Benjamin. "I, Jean, didn't mean, I mean, I'm not going to do anything, nothing, uh, you know..."Benjamin then proceeded to trip over his own words and Kai began to giggle at nervousness."N-not that I'm not saying your not pretty, you are really pretty, um, gosh, but, u-uh, we're both still kinda strangers, you see, but, uh, not for long..."

Benjamin's gaze then fell onto his box, his hat hiding part of his face, and Kai. "I...I mean, uh, let's just...just go take a seat?" Kai smile and extended her hand and rested it on his arm. "It's ok I'm nervous too..." She nodded over to the bench, "Yes let's sit." Kai walked over to the bench and plopped down. Hope let out a small yip and Kai looked over to Benjamin, "So...umm there's not really anything I know about you...and I guess you don't know much about me too." Kai laughed nervously and her gaze returned to the box in his hands, "Do you mind if I ask to see the box? I assume its for me, unless you have some other princess waiting for you?" Kai contiuned to speak jokingly,"I'm afraid my gift for you has already spoiled herself, do you want to hold her?" Kai lifted Hope in her arms and cautiously extended her out for him to hold.

Benjamin Raveran
Industrial Son

"It's okay, I'm nervous too." When Benjamin heard those words a slight wave of relief washed over him, though it still did little to help his beat red cheeks.

"Oh well...glad I'm not the...only one...feeling this way." Benjamin said as he glanced up shyly, as he watched Kai walk over to the bench. Benjamin proceeded to quietly follow, taking a seat next to her, but not yet looking at her, instead at the ground in front of him.

"So...umm there's not really anything I know about you...and I guess you don't know much about me too."

"Yeah, he, guess we're just strangers aren't we?" Benjamin began chuckling nervously too, now he looked up at her, and noticed she was looking at the box he had in his hand.

"Do you mind if I ask to see the box? I assume it's for me, unless you have some other princess waiting for you?"

Benjamin blinked at her for a moment, taking a secounds to process about the other princesses, before the realization hit him like a steam train, and he quickly shook his head. "Nonono, of course I don't have any other princess, your...your my only princess."

Benjamin quickly looked down to hide his face, as it began to flare up again. He held out the box with to shaky hands. "I-it's a music box, y-you just-t turn the crank and, and it'll play a tune." Benjamin stuttered out, looking up slightly to see her reaction. "I-I made it-t myself."

If the princess would take it and turn the crank, the box will thus automatically open. What will first rise is a castle on top of a sea turtle will rise from the center, followed by metal cutouts of the sea attached to small metal polls, which will rise around the castle, along with several metal sea animals also on metal poles, mostly dolphins. The waves will then proceed clockwise to a tune being played out, while the sea animals appeared to move counterclose wise, all bobbing up and down to the tune in the process. The metal turtle castle in then proceed to spin slowly counterclockwise, staying in the middle but still bobbing up and down.

The tune had been suggested to him by Pélissier. Though he did like it, he didn't know why Pélissier scratched out the title to the sheet music. But still, Benjamin went along, and the music portion was the hardest part, as he had to transpose and forge out every note.

If she did take it, Benjamin would look up at Hope, and a smallsmile would invade his face.

"I-I'd love to." He would say, before gently lifting Hope out of Kai's hand, and proceeded to move it close to her face closer to his own. "Well hello there, aren't you a cute thing. Hehe, you do remind me so much of Powder."

KAI BAYMOON
Water Princess

nagi-miuna-32.jpg

Kai starred back at Benjamin and laughed at his response to her humor,"Nonono, of course I don't have any other princess, your...your my only princess." The last part caused her to yet again blush. Kai happily exchanged Hope for the box Benjamin offered her. "It's really beautiful," Kai traced her fingers along the design of the box and smiled. "I-it's a music box, y-you just-t turn the crank and, and it'll play a tune." Benjamin stuttered out, causing the princess to look up and give him a warm smile. "I-I made it-t myself."

After she had gotten her fill of merely just looking at the outside of the box, she carefully turned the crank until the box opened joyfully singing its song. Kai was amazed at the craftsmanship of the whole thing, the way the waves, animals, and her palace moved to the sweet song. Her heart filled with happiness and she finally felt more at ease sitting next to Benjamin. She looked up as the song finished playing to find he was enjoying his time with Hope as much as she enjoyed her moments with the music box. "Thank you, I really love it..." Kai placed her hand on his knee and gave it a small squeeze. She really wanted to lean over and hug the prince in thanks, but she refrained as she noticed Rein and Pelissier returning to them with her shoes and some water, maybe later she'd give them a show. "...How did you do this? It must have taken you forever to make!" Kai looked at Benjamin with amazement in her eyes.

Lucine Briarheart
"To Be Revealed"

The Dark Prince gave Lucine a cold look. It had only been a moment, too quick for someone else to notice. But not took quick for Lucine who felt the cold look bare into her with pointed teeth. Her eyes widened when she realized from Mr. Bronson's response that the Dark Prince was, well, undercover. Lucine had spent most of her childhood in the Dark Realm, of course she would recognize him.Of course she would recognize all the royalty. She saw Miss Alice Raveran talking to the Fire and Water Princes. Princess Teno was talking over here now. The Industrial Son and Water Princess were talking awkwardly together. And the Dark Princess was playing a beautiful piano tune with the royal musician.
Well, if the prince wanted to play hide-and-seek with the royal gathering, so be it. It wasn't the first time royalty had looked her in the eye with contempt. Knowing Lucine, it wouldn't be the last time. As Princess Teno approached the booths, Lucine gave a quick look at the Dark Prince. He wanted to be undercover. His bride-to-be was terrified of the idea of him. The results would be... interesting.
"Good Morning, Princess Teno," she said with a bright voice.

Flynn Wulfgar
"To Be Revealed"

Penelope repeated his words back to herself a few times. It seemed that perhaps she hadn't thought much about her home in a while. It started hesitant, but slowly she started to play. The melody grew and she began to pour her whole body into it. Flynn sipped his drink and was surprised when the Dark Realm soldiers silenced their chatting to listen to her play. He had, of course, heard of Princess Teno's musical ability, but Penelope's had yet to be revealed to him. He felt honored to be hearing such an intimate work. When she finished she turned to him, looking excited and drained and asked, "How was that?"
Flynn leaned back a bit, swirling his drink around. He looked at the piano, then back at her. Instead of giving her one of his classic charming, albeit perhaps false, smiles, he gave her a true smile. He looked her in the eyes, leaning toward her to speak.
"Penelope, that was beautiful. I asked you to play from the heart, but what you gave me? You played from your soul, my dear. I'd be honored if you would let me use a sampling of that within my score?" He flashed a bright smile at her and set aside his now finished drink. He pulled out his notebook and began writing some small notes. "Perhaps you'd even be willing to answer a few questions about yourself and your brother, just so I can make it perfect. I see you're in no rush to meet your husband-to-be? Forgive me if I'm overstepping myself."

Teno Wycleff
Fire Princess

"Thank you for your offer. I'm sorry to just say hi and bye, but I seem to keep forgetting myself today, I hope you understand. I promise we can talk more a little later!" Said Kai before she and her tall servant walked away. Teno frowned a little. She had hoped to spend a little more time with Kai. It had been so long since she had seen the Water Princess. Still she could understand why Kai would be nervous, especially having just met the powerhouse that is Alice Raveran. Still she turned to speak with Rose and Tamara when Rose suddenly took Teno's free hand into hers. Her eyes were alight with possibility and mischief.
"Princess, I have an idea! Please wait 10 minutes and meet me at Mr. Bronson's booth! Please watch out for her miss Wolf!" Said Rose. Rose grabbed her skirt and ran away toward Devon Bronson's booth.
"Wait Rose, I-" She yelled after her, but then realized that Rose wasn't going to stop. She turned to Tamara with a sigh. "Have you figured out why she calls you Miss Wolf yet?"
Teno spent the next few minutes arguing with her guards to let her walk the grounds freely. Finally she convinced them that as long as Tamara was with her, and both they and Kurt could see her, then she would be fine to go as far as Devon Bronson and Vincent's booths. She gave them each a hug for being understanding and took Tamara by her arm to Devon Bronson's booth.
"What do you think Rose is up to now," asked Teno to Tamara as they walked. "Today is not a great day for schemes."
"Good Morning, Princess Teno,"
greeted a white haired girl with a striking red cloak.
"Good morning to you," she said to the stranger with a bright smile. She released Tamara's arm and walked over to Devon. She'd never admit it, especially not with her encroaching wedding, but she had the tiniest bit of a crush on Mr. Bronson. To be fair, most everyone who met him did. And to still be fair, she hadn't really had much experience romantically. She gave him an embrace and was thankful for her makeup hiding her light blush. She adjusted her dress and held the small box in her hand, unsure what else to do with it.
"Good morning, Devon. I'm sorry, but did Rose come this way? I'm not sure what she is up to but I hope she didn't rope you into something..." As she spoke she noticed a man standing in front of Devon's booth with a steed on a rope.
"Oh goodness," she said turning to him. "I'm very sorry to have interrupted you, sir." She gave him one of her blinding smiles. Looking him up and down, she couldn't really tell anything about him. He was handsome, but certainly wasn't from the Fire Kingdom, his clothing was too dark for that. But that didn't really eliminate much else. Something against his waist had a runic symbol on it, but Teno had not really studied much history. "Don't mind me. I'm just looking for a lovely girl."

Tamara Esgard
Guard

The group infront of Tamara slowly but surely disbanded, the Water Princess leaving with her servant first. Even Rose decided to leave for a while, telling Princess Teno to meet her at the tailor's booth after a couple of minutes.
"Please watch out for her miss Wolf!", Rose excused herself before dashing off.

Tamara furrowed her brows in confusion, yet she wasn't the only one who didn't exactly get what was going on. "Have you figured out why she calls you Miss Wolf yet?", Teno asked, looking over to Tamara. She shrugged with a vague hand motion. "In all honesty, I have no clue... Well not that it bothers me in any way, a wolf is a pretty cool animal and so on.", she laughed it off.

While Tamara was still thinking about something of so little importance as to why Rose called her Miss Wolf, Teno was trying to get the guard's, as well as her brother's permission to go to Mister Bronson's booth. 'Or is it because I'm following her like a dog? She could just call me dog... Oh, but calling me a b-", before she was able to finish her thought, Teno had grabbed Tamara by her arm and started walking. "Oh so you were able to convince them to let you go? Very well! I'll promise you'll be in good hands.", she smiled.

"What do you think Rose is up to now?", the Princess asked her, a slight hint of concern in her voice. "Today is not a great day for schemes." "You are right", Tamara agreed, "yet I can't shake off the feeling that she's up to something, well how do I put it... She's up to something, y'know?"

Before they arrived at the tailor's booth, a girl with snow white hair and a red cloak came their way, greeting the Princess. Eyeing her for a while, Tamara figured she hadn't seen her around before. 'Strange..'

Teno let go of Tamara's arm to walk towards the Purrsian tailor to greet him and ask if he had seen Rose passing by or maybe even involving him in whatever she was planning. Tamara stood, as always, behind the Princess, in a upright posture, trying to look at least a little intimidating to others. Her eyes wandered over the entire booth, filled with all sorts of materials and cloths, before noticing that someone stood in front of the booth. At first glance, it looked like a normal stranger who was simply inspecting the wares, yet, giving him a closer look, it finally hit her.
"Oh goodness, I'm very sorry to have interrupted you, sir.", Teno excused herself, talking to the man in front of the booth. 'Oh no.' "Don't mind me, I'm just looking for a lovely girl.", she explained. Tamara coughed twice, before lightly tapping Teno's shoulder and leaning forward. "Excuse me for interrupting you, but I have two news, a good one, and a bad one. You know how you told me to look out for Danil Draven, so that he wouldn't surprise you and all that?", she whispered to her, the tone of her voice made it obvious that she was kind of embarrassed, "well, the good news is, I just found him... and I think you did as well."

(A quick mention on what my other characters are doing meanwhile: Serenity is currently looking through the several booths offering food, trying to get some inspiration and for future reference. Marie is looking at the every single beverage that contains even the slightest hint of alcohol. Not that she is trying to get drunk... or anything. And Isaac is looking at the flowers, destined for the bouquets, from all the Kingdoms, trying to find out some more about their flora. And also trying to avoid being around Marie while she's not 100% sober.)

He was never good with ranged weapons it was an weakness of his, he thought looking over the five or so men he had hit with pebbles in the attempt to get the Sargent's attention. He shrugged and decide he would try and get back to work their were blimps that needed fuel canisters moved into them so they could ferry them back to the zeppelins ,and if the man had noticed his attempts he would be able to get his attention easy enough. He once again pushed his way through the worker swarms to find fuel canisters normal men would lift one or two of the metal tanks off the pallet and walk them over to the blimp ,he took the pallet. Granted the packed the pallet light due to the usability of the objects on them one spark could turn a gas can into a gas bomb so they wouldn't stack them on top of each other, but the feat was still impressive at he lifted the heavy wood pallet slinging the wrench to the ground with an audible thump. He slowly walked towards one of them blimps awaiting refuel his hard nobbed boots clacking against the ground at he walked. He wondered if the lady was his Friend's bride it would make sense the whole exchanging of gifts and the visible awkwardness ,Though in his eyes a music box was pretty poor in exchange for a exotic animal that he had received. He brought the pallet down right in front of the blimp causing the gas canisters to shake. He walked off towards the pallets again thinking still. She seemed nice ,pretty too but looks were deceiving and he hadn't heard a word she had said so what did he know. Honestly what did he know about any of this Benjamin was the statesman not him ,nobility and such always confused him especially marriage, But he was an engineer so he would leave the politics and marriage to the man to be married. Really all he was worried about was his friend, it was his happiness on the line here. He heaved the next pallet up "regardless of how this turns out I'll still be here" he said with much finality to no one within earshot, reassuring him self that he would be there for his friend whether it was a win or lose.

Jean-Philippe Pélissier
Industrial Lieutenant and Guard

Pélissier began to finish the rest of his water as he started to listen to Reith's story, occasionally nodding and taking more sips of water as the story progressed.

"Sounds like you two had some wonderful times."
The lieutenant smiled, as he placed his now empty glass back onto the table and turned back to speak with Reith again. "What you and princesse Baymoon reminds me much of what young Benjamin sometimes endulge in whenever, the heat is upon him, let's just say"

Using one hand, Pélissier raised said hand into the air, before moving it across the sky. "Whenever he needs to clear his head, he would often go down to the airfield, and, take off soring into the air in his biplane." Pélissier then lowered his hands with a small chuckle.

"Mind if we go back? My lady is thirsty and needs her shoes."

"Of course, mousier, best we go rescue our friends from the awkwardness that is young love." Pélissier nodded with a smile, before gesturing Reith towards the couple.

As the two walked, Pélissier was looking at the ground and scratching his chin in thought. He then turned to the kelpith servent and asked him.
"Mosuier, you have told me that you are rather fond of the princesse, so naturally I assume you have an opinion on the matter of this wedding, no?"

Benjamin sat their, cooing softly to Hope as he listened to his own music box play. Thankfully, no springs popped out or screws went lose.

"Thank you, I really love it..."

The moment Benjamin heard her say that was the moment his ears also went red, then he felt a hand on his knees and felt an affectionate squeeze, and his face flamed up again as he lowered the curious hippo in his hands onto his lap.

"Your, welcome" Benjamin was able to get out, a secound wave of relief washed over him, this time it calmed him down more, to the point where he was able to summon the courage to look at Kai's face with a shy smile.

"...How did you do this? It must have taken you forever to make!"

"Oh, it was nothing, h-honest." Benjamin said as he took one hand off the hippo to scratch his neck, allowing the hippo to move slightly around his lap. "W-when I heard that, you know, we were going to get married, I figured that I'd, uh, make you somthing nice."

Benjamin gave a light shrug as he looked down at Hope.
"I thought I'd make you a music box, I made the box out of a jewelry case, and I then had to make the music player. Pélissier was the one who suggested the piece, and when I heard it, you know, I liked it. So I then had to make the musical strips for the music player, I mean it wasn't really hard, but it was tedious, I had to go back and tweek the timing of each note a few times."

Benjamin then looked up into the air, and exhaled a bit.
"Boy did that take some time, but I eventually got it right."

He then looked at the princess a bit sideways, though not immidatly, as he slowly eased his head to look at her.
"Then I thought, maybe just a music box was too simple, so I thought maybe it would be nice to, you know, have somthing that reminded you of home. So I did some reaserch about your homeland, and ended up with a design like that..." Benjamin nodded towards the box. "...I thought it might of been...nice, if it also bobbed to the rythum, so I put in a mechanism for it...and, wha la."

Benjamin had left out the part about the research where he had interviewed a few soldiers about the water kingdom, many of them had some colorful stories to tell on the side, and Benjamin couldn't help but listen. It was the least he could do in return.

"A-anyways, I'm just glad you like it." Benjamin said, as he held up Hope again and looked at her. "And thanks...for this, she's really cute."

But then he lowered his arms, as well as Hope, and looked at the ground. Taking one hand, he lowered his hat down into his eyes, and muttered
"Though...not as cute as you."

Had Pélissier been standing near by, he would have been so proud of Benjamin.

he looked at the mustached man for a second not truly sure he had said that out loud before walking over he looked at the propeller for a while then flicked it. He listened the the metal ring for a while leaning in to press his ear against it ,he nodded his head deciding it was made of a tough enough material to withstand some abuse. "one second" he walked off gabbing his wrench and dragging it back to the blimp he walked behind the propeller and latched it onto the thickest exposed piece propeller he could put it. He then grabbed it in both hands and started cranking it ,at first it let loose a terrible noise but after a few cranks the noise went down. He kept going assuming it was just some form of grime that needed to be worked out "Bah pieces of crap" he honestly didn't like blimps he always disliked the whole concept of using that much fuel to go up and down from it over and over again. He had the idea of large steel air docks that would rise up like skyscrapers but the kingdom one didn't care about his opinions on the matter and also that the rich and powerful enjoyed riding the blimps down. "Good trip?" he asks the captain he didn't get to travel much and took few days off to travel even if he did want too so he basically experienced the world through others.

"I don't know how your blimp went, laddy, but my ride could of been better." Fredrick said as he looked up at the propellers. "Not the best thing the Kingdom has to offer, but for how old it is, doesn't fly too bad."

Fredrick then went to check on one of the blimp's rear parts, taking a knee to inspect the part, glancing up to look at the big man. "You hear about the new zeppelin coming out? They say it's faster, safer, and much more sleeker. Word is, it could even go from the capital to the border within about an hour."

"My friend, we've already talked about this before. There's is very little we can do to avoid...losing, our loved ones." Kurt then looked up at Kal, giving a hard but sad look. "I am not any happier on the prospects of losing my sister to...a man I'd once call an enemy. But...we can not defy our fathers like this, nor can we risk another war for our people; they cannot handle another conflict such as the one from times past."

Kurt's head slowly bobbed up and down, as he took a minute to gather some thoughts, before continuing. "Listen, Kal, this is not easy for either of us, but it is our duty to ensure the safety of our people, and if this is what it takes... then so be it."

He turned and genuinely smiled at the zeppelin comment
"My only worry is that they'll stop needing engineers to keep the great flying beasts from exploding, I enjoy working on them but the march of progress never stops eventually these zeppelins will fly to the ends of the world within an hour ,and people will slow them down just to charge more" he said adding the last part quickly

"where you coming from?" he asked wondering he hadn't seen that air ship in a while and honestly most of these things returned pretty quickly, even the old ones meaning the journey had some length to it.

_Devon Bronson_
- Table beside Lucine's, Homeland -

"I say . . . Oh, well I do say." said Devon impressed, pulling out a pair of round black-rimmed glasses from the inside of his waistcoat. "May I?" If the prince allowed him, the tailor would unfurl the hide, draping it over his pack pony.

Pushing the glasses up the bridge of his black nose, he examined the pelt, feeling it's texture under his paws. "Now that's a fine feel . . . soft, supple," he stretched it, "and robust." his tail swished excitedly. Devon had never worked with drake leather before, and so fresh too. "I take it you'd like something made out of this hide, sir?" he ventured to guess.

T'was then that his stall had another visitor, heralded by the bright greeting of his red-cloaked stall neighbor. His ears perked up at Princess Teno and her guard's arrival, though his smile suddenly became awkward when she embraced him. right. in. front. of. her. fiancé. His mind worked wildly as his arms automatically hugged her back.

He knew her hug was out of platonic affection, but between men, the gesture could incite jealousy in the prince.

'Do I pretend I don't know he's the prince and hug Teno cheerfully like I always do, so as not to make her wonder why I'm awkward, which she'll likely think is because of him? Or do I give her a quick pat on the head?' The change in behavior would bring attention to the disguised prince, and the tailor didn't want his cover blown. Devon had no problem hugging the princess in public back at the Fire Kingdom, and yet if he hugged her like that, it might be seen as disrespectful as he was, well, male --- but he was hugging her already!

"Good morning, my dear Teno, hohoho!" he dropped one arm and gave her a one-armed hug, wrestling her enthusiastically as though they were bossom man-buddies. "Oh, Miss Vindell is perusing buttons at the back." he gestured at the tent behind his stall as she fixed her dress. "Feel free to go inside and take your time enjoying the wares, ladies." he added, grinning as normally as he could.

The tailor inclined his head at the intimidating Tamara, respect in his eyes. She was the guard who defended the princess against the assassins too. He felt warmly towards her and at ease knowing she was taking care of Teno.

And then she had to make it awkward by whispering that it was Prince Danil beside her. He resisted the urge to face-palm.

The Purrsian drew out a copper and brass machine half the size of a shoe box from his rucksack. It had knobs, dials, and glass lenses which he adjusted before setting up a foldable tripod on the ground in front of Sabaton and he.

He attached an electric cord with a button on the end to it, before asking his companion to stand in front of the Glowing Drow.

"That ain't some mini-canon, is it?" asked a patron of the tavern who was watching them with interest.

"No, this is a camera." chuckled the tailor. "It takes photographs." He joined the berserker, trailing his cord with him. "Ready, Sabaton?" he looked up at him. "Smile!"

Rose Vindell 2.jpg
"Don't mind me, i'm just looking for a lovely girl."

Rose's ears perked up the moment she heard Teno's voice outside the booth. The girl frantically looked around, checking every detail of her set up, making any last second changes. When she was finally satisfied, she excitedly exited the tent, making sure to shut the flaps to the entrance. The excited girl hurried towards the waiting pair, grasping Teno's and Tamara's hands "I'm so happy you two are here. Come on, we only have a little while before everything starts!"

Rose pulls the pair to the tent, releasing their hands as they approach the entrance. In one fell swoop, the girl swings open the flap, ending her motion in a deep bow. "Your majesty, Madame guard, this humble repair girl doth invite thee to Chez Bronson, the most exclusive tea party in all of Homeland. Let's take our minds off of the stress of the world and enjoy each others company."

The tent was very quaint, but had the appearance of having been set up by someone without any experience. The make shift walls were made using unmatching sheets, with flowers that had been cut at random lengths sitting in random objects spread across the small space. In the center was a white wooden table surrounded with 2 violet seats and a tailors stool. Even the tea set that sat atop the table was mismatched. The pot was a beautiful sterling silver with a beautifully ornate floral filigree, that had a single matching cup, while the second was a terracotta clay cup painted with various fire kingdom symbols, and finally the third was simply an old beat up wooden cup that looked as though it had seen a lot of use in a bar.

"Please have a seat you two," Rose says motioning towards the violet seats. She reaches into a sweet herbally scented bag on the table, placing crumpled bits of tea leaves into each cup. "I've never made tea before, so I hope you two like it. The woman at the stall told me this tea is perfect for reducing stress." She pours boiling hot water into each cup, the sweet aroma filling the small tent. Rose takes a seat on the stool, with an awkward smile on her face that was easily read as vulnerable anticipation. The awkward girl was skilled at many things that masked who she was, but she was in uncharted territory, wearing every emotion on her sleeve.

"hmm a ride home sounds promising, sure though I'm not sure a man who can afford to bring a zeppelin all the way out here wants some random man on board though it wouldn't hurt to ask" He said completely straight faced. He had a problem expressing sarcasm, he would say something completely ridicules with a straight face and no change in his tone of voice. This had lead to a long string of misunderstandings such as workers actually thinking he had ordered them to shove their head into a piston. Which he wouldn't do, skull fragments would absolutely harm an engine it would be a pain in the ass to remove too.
"I'm assuming "li'l benny"" he said mimicking the pilots tone of voice and accent "is the one over there with the exotic creature" he knew not many people this far out knew the prince enough to recognize him on sight, so playing off like he didn't know who it was, was completely plausible. "By the way what did you come all the way out here for?" he asked genuinely uncertain if this was him picking up his bride or meeting with her advisers he had a good idea to be certain, but he wasn't the sort to work off half certains especially in this sort of situation.

As they made their way to the gazebo, Rein enjoyed the quiet calmness between him and the lieutenant. It was broken when he asked a few moments later.

"Mosuier, you have told me that you are rather fond of the princesse, so naturally I assume you have an opinion on the matter of this wedding, no?"

He looked over at Pelisser with a hesitant grin. "As you guessed; I do have an opinion on the matter of this wedding..." Rein said. "We do need peace between the kingdoms but...forcing the children to marry one another without having any sort of connection is a bit...much." He put it lightly. "To be honest, I was scared for Princess Kai and had volunteered to stay with her as she gets used to the Industrial empire...I'm still scared. However..."

His eyes saw the adorable pair talking to each other, shy as they are, but are getting along. "...I'm glad Prince Benjamin is nice...It...makes me relieved to hear he's reasonable." Then he stood up straight. "What are your opinions on this? I assume you have one as well since you are good friends with the Prince?"

-Inari Yoko-

Yoko skipped out of the tent, happy that she didn't unload anything yet other then the buttons and saw the young man from before showing Devon a new sort of fabric. Then two more young women came over to their booth and-

'Isn't that Princess Teno?' She thought with wide curious eyes, watching the princess hug Devon like she normally would; the kitsune tilted her head when her purrsian boss hugged back with one arm like man friends would do...which is weird. He always hugs the princess with two arms, why would he....

The more she thought about it, the more she looked over at the dark-clothed young man (who's older then her. Why is she, of all people, calling him young?) and solved a quiet puzzle. Her white ears folded back as her tails curled against her legs. Uh-oh...

It didn't help that the guard just whispered and confirmed her guess of the identity of the Dark prince. Yoko jumped in surprise when Rose came out of the tent and bringing the princess and Tamara in.

"Uh-! Let me know if you need anything, misses!" Yoko yipped to the trio the went inside the tent then she turned to Devon and the Dark Prince, pursing her lips. This is awkward...

"...Mr. Devon, should I pack the fabric or...something?" The little kitsune hesitantly tipped-toed closer to the purrsian as she pointed at the fresh new hide. Her little teddy bear with the eyepatch and orange bandana fell over on the table top.

Teno Wycleff
Fire Princess

"Excuse me for interrupting you, but I have two news, a good one, and a bad one. You know how you told me to look out for Danil Draven, so that he wouldn't surprise you and all that? Well, the good news is, I just found him... " whispered Tamara, leaning in to Teno. Teno's eye's widened and the backs of her hands caught fire again as her heart started to race. She stopped listening before she could hear the 'bad new'. Her mind raced with only one question.
Where? Where was he? She looked around, not daring to move more than her eyes. Tamara could see someone that she couldn't. Some horrible monster that was lurking nearby. Her eyes alighted to a group of Dark Realm creatures around the Dark Princess. It had to be one of them. Which one was he? He had to be just the ugliest and the meanest-
"Oh, Miss Vindell is perusing buttons at the back," said Devon Bronson. "Feel free to go inside and take your time enjoying the wares, ladies."
She turned to him, clutching her box. She was fighting to make sure she didn't look around anymore. She had to calm down. She had to calm down. If she reacted improperly to meeting her husband to be... she had no idea how her brother or guards might react. She rubbed the back of one hand, trying to smother the flames. It was not doing much good and the flames tickled up between her fingers.
"I'm so happy you two are here. Come on, we only have a little while before everything starts!" It was Rose's voice. Teno turned to her and felt the fire on her hands extinguish. Which was lucky, because Rose grabbed both her and Tamara and pulled them into the tent.
"Uh-! Let me know if you need anything, misses!" Said a cute Kitsune girl.
"Th-thank you-" Teno was able to squeak out to everyone before she was pulled inside. "Your majesty, Madame guard, this humble repair girl doth invite thee to Chez Bronson, the most exclusive tea party in all of Homeland. Let's take our minds off of the stress of the world and enjoy each others company."
"A tea party?" Asked Teno. She laughed it was both anxious and relived. She looked around the room. Everything was wild and unmatching. It had none of the comforts of the veritable fair outside, that was crisp and perfect. This was much better. It reminded her of the Fire Kingdom, with it's rustic and wild charm. A madcap collection of many kinds. She loved it. "Oh, Rose how wonderful!"
"Please have a seat you two. I've never made tea before, so I hope you two like it. The woman at the stall told me this tea is perfect for reducing stress." Said Rose as she began to prepare the tea. She poured the hot water into the cups and sat on the stool. She looked so innocent and nervous. Teno motioned to Tamara to take a seat and pulled up into one of the violet chairs.
She took the cup into her hands, setting her present to the side. The cup was hot, but as Teno was prone to setting herself on fire, it was perfect. She took a sip of the tea. It was a little bitter, but the flavor was wonderful. She grinned at Rose with a goofy smile. "Rose, you're wonderful. I love this. If ever there was a time I needed some stress relief, it's now. What would I ever do without you?"
She took another slightly bitter sip, letting the heat comfort her. She sighed and drooped into the chair. "Did you happen to hear any of that out there, Rose? Tamara found my betrothed and I was just a few minutes away from a full fire panic."
