Lioness075
Everyone's fighting some battle of their own.
Luness found herself growing bored of this mission while the boys tried their best to talk up their target and convince him that they were friendly people to talk to or whatever.
Resisting the urge to sigh out loud, Luness glanced about the area, her expression more than obvious to be a bored one. Luness had never been overly fond of politics and she sort of felt as if this was just a political mission with the teams trying to befriend some baddies.
Luckily and unluckily, the fire alarm system suddenly came on, disrupting the ever so boring mission for Luness.
Unluckily, this meant she wilted in size almost immediately, as her feathers clung to her small form now. This also meant that any of her fire abilities would be difficult to use while the ceiling continued to rain down on her.
Overhearing something attacking people in the club, Luness' eyes widened while her heart began to speed up. Even though Luness was designed to be able to see in the dark without a problem, the water kept getting in her eyes and so she had to continuously blink and shake her head a few times to get a good sight of anything.
Thanks to these struggles, it was difficult for Luness to see whatever the beast was.
As Alec rushed off to try and spot the beast or even help some of the people being attacked, Luness nodded at the instruction to help light the way for her team.
"Okay, everyone, stay close to one another and don't stray far! My light will not be that great while I'm soaking wet and water keeps raining down on me."
Closing her eyes to help herself focus, especially since unlike Leandra, Ash would have no resistance to her fire whatsoever and so Luness didn't want to accidentally burn the man.
After a moment or two passed, Luness' body then began to glow, as her faint light began to glow in the area about the team, faintly lighting the way, though it flickered quite a bit thanks to the water falling everywhere.
"This...is the best I can do, now move!"
Luness shouted this through gritted teeth, all of her focus going primarily to ensuring that the others could see, if only faintly.
At this rate, her lighting was more like that of a candle than anything else. The team would still struggle to see while their eyes tried to adjust in the darkness.

Leandra wisely kept her mouth shut while the others spoke, feeling more than out of place in the moment and feeling as if the others were doing a far better job than she herself could ever hope to.
As Beth spoke of their jobs while Simon did the hard work, Leandra felt herself tense at the mere idea and quickly hid it by taking a sip of her virgin drink. This was so stupid, having to sit here and pretend she was nothing other than some dainty woman. Ugh. Hopefully, Luness was having more fun with her assignment.
Hearing Beth hint that she had been young enough to join Simon that she hadn't even bonded with her companion yet, Leandra inwardly cringed. Was that actually a thing for girls that young to be 'bought'? Leandra felt awful to hear such a thing even being insinuated, but Marie-Lynn didn't even blink at the idea. Damn.
Having missed Simon's attempt to convey his concern for her, Leandra continued to absentmindedly sip at her drink while also reaching out to scratch Laohu under the chin a few times. Leandra hoped this mission would be over sooner rather than later.
Taking another sip of her drink to avoid making any faces to give away her distaste for Simon's supplier story, Leandra then put her glass back down before grabbing the cherry and absentmindedly swirling it about in her drink. This mission sucked.
Briefly, Leandra felt someone's eyes on her and looked up to see who it was, but whoever had been looking at her no longer was, leaving Leandra a tad confused.
Though, in this brief moment, Leandra realized she probably was doing a horrible job of acting like one of Simon's girls. Whoops. As per usual, she'd gotten lost in her own thoughts. Dang it.
Hearing Zoe's gleeful tone, Leandra almost immediately flinched, but stopped herself so she didn't give anything away. Wow, Zoe was quick to change personalities. Though, it came across both as amazing and slightly creepy to Leandra. Someone like that could be dangerously unpredictable at times.
When Zoe gave Simon a nickname, 'honey-bear', Leandra almost immediately smirked, as she noted that the nickname could be a fun way to tease Simon after this mission.
When Zoe gave her a sheepish smile, Leandra awkwardly let her smirk fade away before merely shrugging at Zoe. She really had no idea how else to react upon Zoe smiling at her like that.
Yet, not too long after Zoe spoke, the fire alarm suddenly went off in the club.
Leandra glanced around in bewilderment, having no idea who had pulled the fire alarm or why since there was clearly no fire, but soon the water began spewing out from the ceiling and Leandra gasped before worriedly looking about while club members seemed to be mostly irritated in the moment and not in any rush to leave quite yet.
Just as Leandra was standing up from her seat in disgust, she froze upon hearing the screams not too far from their group. Yet, before she had a chance to see what was happening beyond a blur of something, the lights went out and chaos ensued.
It wasn't hard to hear the terrified occupants fleeing the scene nor was it hard to hear the screams of people being attacked.
Leandra's heart raced inside, as she glanced about in terror before overhearing Alec on the comms.
Annoyingly enough, they were still with Marie-Lynn and Leandra couldn't speak over the comms and give themselves away just yet.
Whispering in a shaky tone, Leandra then said, "Laohu? Please stay near me. Don't try to be a hero or anything, just, please stay with me."

Falarion continued to squirm a bit in his seat, finding it hard to sit still for so long and finding it even harder to not speak up against the atrocities that everyone was so calmly discussing here. This was so wrong, why did everyone have to act as if it was okay!?
Aimlessly pawing at his seat, Falarion tried his best to act as if this was all normal, but he was having a really hard time compared to the others.
When Beth rubbed him behind the ears, Falarion relaxed a bit, but still looked at her with a pouty face. When would this interaction be over with?
Hearing Simon's mention of suppliers, Falarion instantly perked up, his ears sticking straight up while his eyes were slightly wide. Quickly ducking his head back down so Marie-Lynn hopefully didn't notice his reaction, Falarion then began anxiously pawing at his seat again.
Not too long after Zoe spoke up as well, the fire alarm system went off, resulting in Falarion's head jolting upright again and his ears flicking this way and that. Was there a fire in here?
Before Falarion could figure that out, the water shot out of the sprinkler system and his fur soon was clinging to his skin. Well, that's annoying.
On top of the fire alarm, though, the lights soon went off and then screams could be heard. Screams of fear...and screams of pain.
Instantly fearful, Falarion shoved his head against where he'd last seen Beth's shoulder, feeling his head bump into something and hoping it was still Beth there.
Falarion had no idea what was happening, but he wanted to make sure Beth felt safe, plus he wanted to feel safe because he was kind of freaking out internally here.

Outside, Manjano had just started on his dumplings when Kitsune came bounding out of the club with what appeared to be Jean-Marc's glasses in his mouth.
When Kitsune approached Manjano and Jimbo, briefly giving Jimbo some attitude for no apparent reason, Manjano abruptly snatched the glasses from the fox's mouth since Jimbo was busily eating away at his dinner.
Rude little critter, was all Manjano thought before Kitsune turned away and was making his way back to the club.
Shaking his head at the retreating fox, Manjano then glanced sideways at Jimbo and muttered, "I didn't know something so small could have such a big attitude."
Yet, not a moment too soon after he spoke, the fire alarm system started going off in the club.
Manjano glanced at the club in bewilderment and then stood from his seat in alarm when the power seemed to go off in the club while people cold be heard screaming in terror from within the club. Yet, nobody was exiting. What in the world was happening in there?
Frowning, Manjano then glanced sideways at Jimbo before looking back at the club. What should they do now?

Backstage and behind authorized personnel doors, Jean-Marc had just finished changing into his new attire when the fire alarm system went off and his new clothes were soon soaked with clothes.
"Are you freakin' kidding me!?"
An attendant nearby jumped after hearing Jean-Marc shout, but other than that, there was a deafening silence.
Frowning at this, Jean-Marc looked about before hearing an attendant shout nearby, "The power's down! I-I don't know why, but we can't manually turn it back on from here. Something must be wrong on the outside, not with the server."
Shaking his head at this, Jean-Marc was about to storm out backstage and ask his new 'friends' what was going on when he froze upon hearing screams of both terror and pain from within the club. What was happening out there?
Before he had the chance to ask, his two personal bodyguards were pushing him along to the hidden elevator that would take him downstairs to the basement where he'd be safe until they could figure things out.
Halting the guards briefly, Jean-Marc then shouted out, "Guards! Go into my club and figure out what the hell is happening in there! And stop it!"
Not a moment after he'd shouted this, Jean-Marc turned on his heels and entered the elevator with his personal guards before the doors shut and the elevator entrance looked like a normal wall once more.
As Jean-Marc descended to safety, about five armed guards came out from the authorized personnel entrance backstage and pushed past the team gathered there to enter the club itself.
With flashlights attached to their guns, the team formed a pentagon together and shone their flashlights about in the club, aiming to find whatever was causing the occupants out there to freak out so much.
Coming across a pool of blood, one of the guards looked down at it and gulped before quickly bringing his gun back upright again to try and find what was attacking people out here.
