Everyone's fighting some battle of their own.
Falarion's eyes bugged out when Gigi wrapped her paws around his neck and held tightly onto him. When he'd told her to hold onto something, he hadn't expected her to hold onto him.

Nodding at Alec upon hearing him thank her, Leandra was about to respond when Alec continued to mention his wound and clearly tried to make it appear as if it wasn't that big of a deal. Yeah, nice try, Alec. Leandra didn't have a medical degree without being able to know when someone's injury was bad enough to cause them pain.
"Alec, I'm not blind. I know-"
Leandra's eyes widened, as she heard the tires scrabbling for a grip on the gravel road that they had slid onto. This wasn't good at all.
Before she could try and grab a hold of Alec, he slipped away from her and Leandra could only scream, "Alec!" as she saw him fly out of the limo's roof.
As the limo careened off the road, Leandra struggled to keep a grip on her seat, but quickly let go when she saw Luness' light wink out and the phoenix tumbling right at her, wings flailing about around her.
Catching Luness in her arms and then quickly hugging her to keep her safe, Leandra soon rolled off of her seat and got to experience the joy of being thrown around in shards of glass...which really wasn't fun at all.
When the limo finally came to a halt, Leandra could only let out a groan, which everyone else was probably echoing.

Seeing Beth use his borrowed dagger to stab the seat, Manjano raised an eyebrow at her, but didn't have long to do anything else, as the limo began to dangerously swerve about.
Hearing the rubber struggling to gain momentum, Manjano's eyes widened, as he felt an inevitable crash coming soon.
Gripping his seat extra hard, Manjano tensed his body, as he heard Leandra shout Alec's name nearby before the limo finally slid to a halt.
Letting out a breath once Calista began speaking and seemingly broke the ice of the current situation, Manjano then worriedly looked sideways at Beth, hoping that she'd been able to hold on and was still safe minus the cut she'd gotten on her forearm.

Carefully standing up from the floor, Leandra continued to hug the terrified Luness close to her chest.
Hearing Duik call out for a roll call, Leandra looked over at him, a few cuts scattered about her face and arms, a small shard sticking out of the back of one of her palms despite her having not noticed yet.
"Luness and I are okay!"
@SilverFlight
By the time Gigi registered that she may be holding on too tightly to Falarion, his face had gained a slight tint of blue and his eyes were practically bugging out of his face. Well, not literally, but still.
When Gigi let go, Falarion suddenly inhaled deeply before coughing a few times and responding, "N-no, it's okay. I've dealt with worse before."
As the color returned to his face, Falarion blinked in surprise at Gigi's bravery comment. It was rather unusual for him to get many compliments. Those seemed to often be a rarity to hear from Manjano these days.
@SilverFlight
Hearing Gigi saying some French before translating her question, Leandra raised an eyebrow amusingly before responding, "Well, Luness and I are still breathing so there's that."
Suddenly hearing Alec asking if everyone was okay, Leandra stumbled to the door he was peering in and then brushed past him so she could get a breath of fresh air.
This decision was instantly regrettable, as Leandra quickly learned just how many cuts she had gotten from the glass inside the limo, as a small breeze rolled over her.
Gritting her teeth, Leandra looked down at Luness and her eyes widened when she saw the shard sticking out from the back of her right hand. When did that get there?
Shifting her gaze to Luness, who was now looking about warily after getting a fresh breath of air, Leandra then said, "Hey, Lune, can you climb onto my shoulder?"
Nodding, Luness silently climbed onto Leandra's left shoulder while Leandra knelt down in the grass nearby.
Inhaling deeply, Leandra gripped the shard and then quickly yanked it out before she could convince herself not to. Letting out a pained and surprised yelp, Leandra then bit her lip, as she quickly pulled off her backpack and began taking care of the wound on her hand before tightly wrapping it.
By the time Leandra was done, she looked back over at the limo and frowned at the sight of her bandaging on Alec now missing. What in the world happened when he flew out of the limo?
Despite feeling exhausted, Leandra shakily got back to her feet while Luness flew to the nearest tree to regain her wits and to also keep a lookout in case anyone else tried to ambush the team.
As blood began staining the bandage on her hand, Leandra shambled up to Alec and then warily asked, "Hey, Alec, want me to stitch up your gunshot wound?"
It wasn't until she was waiting for Alec's reply that Leandra finally registered his disheveled hair, plus the twigs and leaves in it, as well as his torn and ruined shirt.
As Leandra blushed slightly, she wondered if she should offer a spare shirt to him and quickly added, "Um, I have a spare shirt in my backpack if you want to use it for now."
