When hearing Xiao's take-charge commands Duik snapped into action, taking up a position just in front of Gigi and Falarion. Calista on the other hand was already at Jimbo's side, undoing the lock to the window that separated the passenger cabin from the front seats. They needed control of the limo first. She squeaked when she saw the distinct lack of driver.

"They've hacked the autopilot! Dammit this isn't in my hack field!" She called back. Alec was already following Xiao's order, loading his pistol with explosive rounds. When he heard the civet he grabbed for his phone.

"Luckily its in mine!" He called back

"When did you learn how to hack cars?"

"Long story! I'll tell you when we're not about to die!" By the time he said this he had already launched the countermeasures to disarm the virus.

"Good to go in five Jimbo! Hope you can drive a stick shift! Europe doesn't do automatics!"

@zCrookedz @crucialstar

After this he stood up through the moon roof. He could see the attackers in one of the vehicles now, they had automatic weapons clamped to the window edges. He saw the glint of sharp, white teeth but the interior of the black car was too dark to make out what animal it was. Not that he had time to dwell on it for the animal fired and Alec almost didn't duck in time.

"Alec! Don't get shot!" Duik yelled up at him.

"Yeah! That's a top priority! Thanks for checking!"

Alec saw Cerci contemplate jumping.

"Don't you dare!" He warned, fortunately she didn't need to. A black figure shot out from one of the cars and through the broken window, bringing the fight to them. It was fast, slender and lithe. Duik snapped at it but the shadowy animal dodged him easily. Then it went for Gigi, teeth bared. She had only just looked up after the initial explosion.

Several more of the shadowy creatures jumped through and the cabin erupted into chaos.

Samantha whimpered with everyone talking to her she didn't know who to talk to first "Well I-" she didn't get to finish speaking because of the explosion and gas that had started chaos in the vehicle,she didn't see anything she could use as a real weapon but felt around until she cut her hand on a sharp shard of glass,then she saw the shadow animals start another assualt this was a lot of action and she had no proper weapon but she could make due even if she was dazed it would take more than that to take her down.Samantha slashed the glass shard at whatever animal was attacking Gigi,if she could get a look at it she might be able to find its weakpoint and scare it off or if she had to kill it,"Do we have any weapons?" she asked in the middle of her assault on the creature that was after Gigi.

Inkanis heard combat in the trailer she was in and began letting out an eerie sound that sounded like the cross between a wolf howling and an eagle screeching as she threw a fit,she was hungry and could smell animals that weren't friendly so she assumed she could eat them as she wanted,she lifted up a clawed foot and began scraping her talons against the metal making another horrible sound,if anyone or anything had good hearing it would probably hurt their ears not that Inkanis cared,what she cared about was actually getting some fresh meat stuffed into her beak

@Anyone in the limo

Jimbo nearly had the window broken when it began to roll down. He looked down at Calista after tossing the crutch back to Simon who was slipping on his gloves. Jimbo noticed the same thing Calista did as he climbed into the driver's seat of the limo. He gave the wheel a quick turn and noticed that the wheel wouldn't turn. He gripped it with both hands and prepared to give it a quick yank until Simon yelled out to him.

"JIM NO!! If you pull to hard you might break the steering column. We need to get whatever's controlling it disengaged first."

Before he had even finished, Alec was disarming the autopilot and Jimbo smiled at him as he grabbed hold of the stick ready to take control.

"Sticks the only way to go."

Jimbo was ready for the car part of the driving, what he wasn't ready for was the part where you drive on the opposite side of the road. When the autopilot disengaged, Jimbo punched the gas giving the limo a bit of a jolt forward as he tried to get into the mindset of driving on the left side of the road.

Jimbo looked back at Simon who had turned back to the occupants behind them. Everyone was trying to figure out what to do until Simon heard Xiao call out over the commotion and began giving a bit of direction. Jimbo glanced over his shoulder at Xiao and then to Simon with a look of disbelief.

"Does she honestly think this is a good time to pick flowers??"

Simon gave the ape an exasperated look and turned around as he strapped his gloves on. He looked at the watch and twisted the dial, a distinct whirring noise began to radiate from the gloves. It was about that time Simon heard the thuds of things jumping onto the limo. He looked up at the roof and then to the window beside him. Hitting the power button to the window, Simon stuck his head out the window along with his arm while holding onto the handle on the inside of the cabin. The first chance he got he reached out for a leg to one of the creatures and grabbed hold, hoping the diode on the palm would be able to make contact with the creature's leg.

@SilverFlight @crucialstar

Bael extended the whip but forgoed the electricity, grabbing both ends of the whip and swung around to one of the beasts in the car, and pulled the whip around its body, throwing his full weight onto it and throwing it to the ground. Bael jerked with the whip cable, putting the pressure on the animal's abdomen and earning a strange hacking noise. He looked around and gasped when the gas was hit, tumbling back and giving the animal a chance to stand up. He kicked out at it, trying to keep its attention off of Gigi. He then looked at Zoe, a sudden shock of fear crashing over him.

Bael jerked the cable around the animal's throat, then scrambled over to look at Zoe's injury. He then turned. "No," he yelled to Simon. "...Not — not picking flowers. I just need to go shopping," he explained readily, almost too casually — definitely too casually. "I just... I need a few things for Zoe here, you know. It could use some yarrow. Maybe echinacea. She might get an infection. I don't want that. Can we — can we stop somewhere here? Is this the art district? That might be a good place to start."

(Sorry @Lioness075)

Beth was doing her best to help Manjano, but like she had tried to explain Falarion, she really didn't know what to do.

Suddenly, the limo jolted to the side in a hard right turn. Beth was thrown into Manjano's lap. She swore, her hands sliding on the seat as she tried to get up. Her instincts were screaming that everything was wrong. Very wrong. First in her mind was to get off Manjano. Giving up on sitting up, Beth rolled off him onto the floor with a thump.

A rear window exploded inward, showering down glass. Something bounced in, began leaking smoke. Beth ripped the flannel from around her waist and covered her face, but she was too afraid of the glass to move away from the smoke. Her eyes stung fiercely. More swearing came from the usually composed girl. Luckily, the smoke bomb was dispatched quickly. As the others leapt into action, she just tried to get up off the floor. There was glass everywhere around her, on her clothes, in her hair. Why had she left it down today?

Totua glowered at Beth. Why wasnt she listening to him? She knew he was right, but she persisted with that boy. A harsh jolt of the limo took his attention off his girl for a heartbeat, and he shot a glare toward the glass hiding the driver. Stupid humans..

The sound of glass shattering startled him, and when he looked to the back of the limo, there was bright white where there should been black. Beth was on the floor. Smoke began filling the space. "BETH" Totus screeched, but with everyone around him jumping into action, he couldnt get to her.

The sound of Totus's voice filled her head. He was so panicked that he projected mentally without realizing it. She winced at the intrusion.

"IM GOOD YOU CRAZY BIRD!" She shouted back, even though she was still trying to find a way to get up without getting cut. It didnt help when a bear lumbered past almost on top of her head. She heard Xiao Hui's plan, unaware she was listening with ears that werent her own, and pulled herself up. Her sight quickly became irrelevant; the number of opponents in the other cars was obviously secondary to the number of them in their own car. She was still unarmed. Why didnt she have a weapon? Beth punched the animal leaping at her, landing her fight squarely on its throat. It fell back, and Beth realized she had no idea what it was.

Totus was off the seat in a single downstroke, joining Beth at the back of the limo as she was punching one of the slippery creatures in the throat. He swooped down, grabbing the stunned thing in his talons and shoving it back out the window. It tried to climb back in, but Totus pecked and clawed, and it let go out of pain, falling to the pavement below.

Zoe gritted her teeth and torn a bit of her clothes down in order to create a makeshift bandage. She managed to stop the bleeding and covered the wound quickly. She forced herself to stand up looking at both Xiao and Bael with a determined look.

" Worry not about me, I will endure. " she said firmly " The shot merely scratched my shoulder, I should be completely fine. "

It was then when the shadowy, unknown creatures emerged from the other cars and Zoe knew immediately what their purpose was. Turning to Eos she bowed her head and spoke with a demanding voice.

" Eos, initiate Protocol: Ghost. "

The stag took a few steps back.

" Just like old times? You think we can do it? And why now? "

" We have no weapons, we need to fight. Just do what I say, understood? "

The stag nodded and she turned to Bael.

" Stay down, Bael. I do not want any harm come to you. I will protect you just try to stay out of harm's way. " she winced in pain as her wound ached but then grinned " Know what? Rose is my favorite flower. If you could make a tea out of one after this... man I would kiss you for that. "

She winked with a mischievous expression at the boy and then faced Xiao, a determined smile on her face.

" Let us show these mongrels why they chose the wrong opponent. "

And with that she put her hands together, entering in a meditative trance. Eos bowed his head for a moment as the air vibrated between them. After a brief moment Zoe opened her eyes and faced one of the shadowy creatures. She dashed to it and with precision she started to barrage the monster with all her might. The shocked beast tried to hit her with all its might but it achieved nothing - the girl was too fast. When it raised its hand to strike Zoe yelled.

" Now! " and the creature felt massive antlers impaling it from behind. It yelled in pain as it turned to its new enemy only to receive a massive pummeling from Zoe. The surrounded enemy tried to fight back and forth, weakening itself greatly in the process. Eventually it gave up and surrendered as Zoe jumped on its back, breaking its neck with all her force.

As the beast fell Zoe grinned triumphantly. Now this was something she was good at! However she had to blink again as her vision started to wane for a moment, probably exhaustion creeping up on her. Not hesitating for a moment she dashed next to Samantha, standing with her back to back.

" I am afraid we have but our hands right now. " she yelled, kicking one of the shadowy creatures away " Okay, and our feet. But if we combine our strength we can beat them. " she turned her head towards her, panting but looking serious " Worry not, I will fight with you. "

Cerci was tackled back by the shadowy animal that leapt through the window. Her plan clearly wouldn't work now. She clawed at the creature trying to keep it away from Gigi. The close quarters made combat difficult for the large bear, who needed room to make her attacks very effective. She scraped at the thing while the others took their turns at it, there was no way these things would last very long.

Wednesday was quickly finding herself overwhelmed, Xiao started giving orders, but hers were vague, the space they were fighting in was small and crowded, and that was all without the commotion going on. She heard Zoe calling out to the others who were fighting with her, and saw Bael killing with his whip. She reached into her pocket for the retractable staff but questioned if it would be useful in the confines of the limo. She pulled it partially out, enough to do some damage, but short enough to still control it, and watched as the others fought. Wednesday served support, lashing out at the creatures that tried surprising her friends.

One of the shadow animals tried diving through the opening to get at Jimbo, and Wednesday lunged towards it, thrusting the end of the shortened staff into the creature's side and electrocuting it. The jolt wasn't enough to kill the thing, but it was enough to cause it to fall limp on the seat. Her mind was truly struggling to keep up with the chaos, but she tried to protect her allies

Listening to Xiao's response to her photography, Leandra could only quickly smile at her and say a cheerful, "Thanks, Xiao! You really know how to cheer someone up."

Yet, she was cut off from continuing her conversation with Xiao, as the new girl responded to her questions.

@crucialstar

Hearing Samantha asking about her albinism, Leandra instantly stiffened and gritted her teeth, as she felt a sudden urge to throat punch the girl for asking so bluntly. On top of this, there was no way Samantha could've known about Leandra's albinism. She had contacts that made her eyes look blue so naturally everyone would assume she just died her hair white. Plus, she had unusually fair skin for an albino, making it that much harder to discern such a thing.

Luckily before Leandra responded sharply or made a move, Simon jumped in and redirected the conversation. Smart move.

@ManyFaces @zCrookedz

In the corner of the limo, Manjano felt his heart pounding in his chest, even hearing it pounding in his ears. His vision blurred and refocused, his mind completely in the past right now, as he could feel himself staring down at the dead body of Leandra's boyfriend.

Hearing a voice faintly in the background, Manjano mistook it for Leandra's, as he could hear her shakily staring at him after he'd done the deed.

Remaining oblivious to Beth joining him, Manjano looked down at the ground in front of him, seeing his bloodied fists in his head.

Hearing someone faintly mention a plane, Manjano blinked and for a split second was in the limo once more before hearing Leandra's distant voice in his memory, Manjano...what'd you do?

Inhaling sharply, Manjano blinked again to find himself back at the room in the past.

Yet, it seemed like he was floating between worlds, as he was hearing someone saying something near him, but he couldn't quite understand what they were saying.

In his vision, Manjano could see the young and terrified Leandra slowly walking up to him, her expression of disbelief...and horror.

His mind wandered back to reality, as he could hear more of what Beth was saying to him. Light reflecting, frogs...

Suddenly Beth stopped speaking and Manjano flashed back to the memory, now seeing Leandra dropping to her knees and covering her mouth in horror, as tears rolled down her face and she stared at her now dead boyfriend, who was a mere foot or two away from her.

Manjano remained frozen in place, unable to speak and floored as to what he should even do now.

As Beth began speaking once more, Manjano was slowly pulled back to reality, his mind struggling to focus on her words. Fresh pine, Christmas, rain, alive, reborn...

As Beth trailed off, Manjano bit his lip and shook his head lightly, his mind still feeling a bit scatter-brained. Yet, as he tried to make himself focus on the things that Beth mentioned, he could feel himself returning to reality once more.

Oblivious to the offered hand, Manjano soon felt himself return entirely as Beth began speaking once more.

Surprised by what Beth said next, Manjano felt as if his jaw dropped open slightly, confused by Beth's words. Safe? She felt safe around him?

Furrowing his brows slightly at this, though his eyes remained on the floor beside him, Manjano soon felt his heart go to his throat when Beth offered to help him and then asked how she could do so.

Despite his racing heart, Manjano opened his mouth slightly, as if he were about to actually respond. In his mind, a short phrase began repeating itself, Just don't leave me. Don't leave me.

Yet, before Manjano got the chance to even try to say anything, the limo suddenly jolted into a sharp turn, resulting in Beth landing in his lap.

His heart remained in his throat, as Manjano began panicking all over again.

@Flutterby

Meanwhile, Falarion blinked stupidly at Gigi when she responded about him having been born in a wolf sanctuary.

Grinning at her excited response, Falarion nodded at her before realizing that he probably should keep talking...right?

Seeing movement in his peripherals, Falarion glanced over at Duik to see him making a motion with his paw, saying for him to keep talking. Oh, right.

Blinking, Falarion glanced back at Gigi and was about to say something when Gigi suddenly spoke up about them going on a private tour. Wait, did that mean Gigi would be their tour guide? Woah, there'd definitely be some great sights then. Wait, wrong thoughts.

Shaking his head comically, Falarion then righted himself in time to finally speak up, but was cut off when the limo cut to the side.

Before Falarion could make any moves to protect Gigi, he stumbled right off of the seat beside her and face planted gloriously in the middle of the limo instead. Ow.

Hearing Gigi call out to her driver, Falarion sat himself up in time to see a window shatter. Instinctively, Falarion ducked down and covered his face with his paws, grateful when the glass harmlessly bounced off of him.

Wary of the glass now around him, Falarion slowly sat up, mindfully placing his paws about so he didn't step on any glass.

Hearing Calista shout to not breath in the gas that now also surrounded him, Falarion quickly held his breath, only to realize he wasn't going to be able to hold it long. This wasn't going to work for too much longer.

@SilverFlight

When the limo jerked to the side, Leandra and Luness both let out startled screams of sorts before Leandra fell sideways on her seat and Luness tumbled off and onto the ground near Falarion.

When the rear window broke and the gas canister was thrown inside, Leandra quickly scrambled to her feet and stood up as far away from the gas as possible.

Meanwhile, Luness was caught by surprise while trying to stand up, resulting in her stumbling back to the ground while glass scattered about around her.

Thankfully to Simon's quick thinking, the gas soon dissipated and Luness was safe from whatever its side effects may have been.

Quickly flying to Leandra's nearest shoulder, Luness then perched and quickly began scanning the limo, while trying to figure out what to do next. So much was happening and it seemed like it was going by too fast to keep up with it.

Scrambling back towards Gigi, Falarion quickly leapt up on the seat beside her once more, standing protectively near her, his fur sticking up on end, as he even growled at the broken window, expecting something or someone to bust through it sooner or later.

Sure enough, some dark animal figures soon were leaping into the limo and as one of them leapt for Gigi, Falarion snarled and leapt at the beast to meet it mid-leap. This resulted in the pair becoming a tangled mess, as they both crashed to the glass-covered floor, causing a shard to bury itself into the shadowy figure's back. The beast let out a startled yelp, which was quickly cut off, as Falarion's eyes shined and he quickly tore through the beast's jugular with a snarl.

After the beast stopped moving, Falarion raised his head to look at Gigi, his muzzle now stained with crimson blood. Feeling concerned that she may think differently of him with such a demeanor about him, Falarion quickly looked away, as he tackled the next beast nearest him, returning to the fray.

@SilverFlight

As Beth rolled off of Manjano's lap and onto the ground, Manjano seemed to finally snap out of it when the beasts began filling the limo. If there had been plenty of space for everyone before, there was definitely a limited amount of space now.

Quickly pressing the button on his new watch to make himself invisible, Manjano then sprung to his feet and whipped out two of his daggers.

Seeing Beth frantically punch at a beast near her, Manjano quickly flew into action, almost literally too, as he jumped off of the seat and tackled the beast to the side, causing it to yelp in surprise, as Manjano was still invisible to the naked eye.

Rolling in the glass with the beast, Manjano received a small cut across his cheek, just below the scar running over his eyelid.

While the beast was still surprised, and rather stunned, Manjano quickly slit its throat with one of his daggers before jumping back up, his shoes crunching the glass beneath him and giving away his position if anyone was paying any attention to him.

@Flutterby @anyone else

While everyone was in combat mode, Leandra remained frozen in place, standing on her seat and surveying the scene before her. She couldn't bring herself to attack anything, but she knew that someone was bound to be injured by the end of this.

Deciding to stay out of things, and knowing that a flashbang from Luness would be more detrimental than useful in the moment, Leandra retreated to the front of the limo near Jimbo, feeling a bit safer despite Wednesday downing a beast nearby. Oh well, close enough to safe.

Luness remained carefully perched on Leandra's shoulder, ready to defend her if need be.

(@Hel mentioned)

Jimbo tried keeping the car as stable as he possibly could, but he was finding the at the backwards traffic coupled with the shaking coming from the back was making it more difficult. Through the noise and the chaos, he heard Beals voice respond to his about picking flowers. Jimbo chuckled to himself and swerved around a car in front of him the best he could.

"Tell ya what kid, we get out of this, I'll go flower shopping with ya."

Beal was an odd one, wanting to go shopping in the middle of their current predicament. But Jimbo couldn't blame the kid, after all this was only his second instance of combat. He had to give him props, the kid was handling himself pretty darn well.

@Sleipnir

Jimbo kept his eyes on the road and both hands on the wheel the best he could, but he also kept his eye flicking to the mirrors so he could see what was going on behind him. It was then that he looked in the rear view mirror and saw a familiar pair of boots flailing about in the air, with half of the giant torso hanging out of the car.

"DAMN IT SIMON!! GET YOUR UNDERSIZED HEAD IN THE DAMN LIMO!"

Jimbo took one quick glance backwards to see Simon again, which was when he saw the teeth of something black getting way to close for comfort. Simon was beyond useless at the thing tried to stick its head in to get at him. Luckily SOMEONE was looking out for him as the beast seemed to go rigid for a few seconds and then fell out of the window limp. Jimbo looked back in the mirror to see Wednesday holding her staff and he let go of the breath he didn't know he had been holding onto.

"Wednesday, Simon is buying you a beer for that. Now do me one more favor and stick the shocking end right in between that idiots legs."

Jimbo shook his head with s slight smile as he returned his gaze to the road.

@Hel

Then something came through the window and Jimbo nearly threw one of his massive arms at it incase it was going to start biting at him. Luckily for him, and the pair of team mates that had jumped into the front, he realised it was Luness and Leandra before he started throwing punches. He tried to calm his nerves once again looking back at the road, as he called out to the back.

"Anyone back there got any smart ideas how I should shake these jerk offs?"

@SilverFlight @Lioness075

Bael stared at Zoe when she spoke, completely failing to register what she said about the roses. It might get to him later once they were clear, but at the moment he was hardly capable of registering his own thoughts. "No — your shoulder—" he tried to stop Zoe, leaning over the seat, but it wouldn't amount to anything. He stopped, looking around again.

Another thing — feline? — was close enough to him that he lashed out again, using the whip and wrapping the creature's head in it and electrocuting it. He looked up at Jimbo when the gorilla spoke. He shook his head. "No — no — I'm not looking for flowers really. I mean — maybe later on I will, but I don't think it would be appropriate to buy flowers right at this moment. What I need is — is other things — leaves and roots and a pestle and mortar, satchets, I need cheese cloth — do I have a cast iron teapot here? — botanicals. Well — maybe some flowers, but dried flowers like dandelion or lavender or Rose or maybe safflower — but botanicals."

He looked around again, staring out the window at the buildings as they passed, utterly fascinated. Then there was an attack on him from behind, pinning him into the seat. "Cedar!" He yelled.

But the bear was fighting another in the tight quarters of the limo, snarling and attempting to free himself to no avail.

@zCrookedz @DawnAntalios @AnyOneBecauseBaelIsDown

Totus chose a window and fought off the animals that were trying to get in. His talons were like razors, and with a beak that could rip flesh, the beasts were hesitant to let him get a hold of them. It wasnt much, he wasnt even landing blows on most of them, but it was helping to keep the number of them inside at a minimum. He heard a shout of distress in the limo, not for him, but when he looked at Bael, there was no help coming. The owl dove over, snatching the animal up in his talons and throwing it, hard, into one of the few unbroken windows. Bael might have a few big scratches, but at least he was still breathing. The owl kept after the creature, injuring it as much as he could.

@Sleipnir

Beth yelped in surprise as the creature attacking her was throwing away, and then a spurt of blood showed its end. Nothing was touching it.. right? Beth whipped around in search of Manjano, but he was nowhere. A memory flashed in her mind's eye. Manjano, exiting the clothing area but never entering it. The realization hit her like a train, and she gasped his name under her breath. She scrambled backward, putting distance between herself and the gaping window where the creatures were coming in from. The word unarmed chanted through her mind like a taunt.

"What the hell do I do.." She muttered, answering for herself as she kicked one as hard as she could. Fists and feet werent the most efficient, but they were effective enough to keep her from being ripped apart. It had been a long time since she fought something off with her own hands.. No. Focus. Dont think about that.

Instead, she decided to think of ideas on how to lose the cars surrounding them, having head Jimbo shout. Her first thought was to find a narrow street, but that wouldnt work with the cars flanking the front of the limbo. Her next thought was also a memory, of driving past the Arc de Triomphe. Could the six-lane circle help them lose the "jerk offs"? Before she could shout her idea to Jimbo, the creature she had kicked sprang again, its teeth scratching her forearm as she knocked it away from herself.

Noticing Simon's reaction to their abrupt entrance, Leandra smartly said to him, "Watch it, Simon. I do have a flammable companion here, remember?"

Hearing him shout for a plan, Leandra worriedly glanced back into the cab of the limo, seeing everyone fighting sporadically back there. It was absolute chaos.

Her eyes darted about the scene behind her, leaving Leandra feeling more distraught than anything and essentially making her useless in the fight or any plan-making.

Luckily, Luness excelled at remaining calm in moments such as these.

Fluttering down from Leandra's shoulder, Luness landed on the console near Simon before looking at him and saying, "I think our teammates have the beasts in the back effectively distracted for now. We should focus on losing the cars chasing us. It might be too difficult to maneuver in small spaces with how long our vehicle is. Is there anywhere that would have more open roads and allow us better maneuverability? Or as best as we can get with a vehicle such as this one?"

@zCrookedz

As chaos ensued around him, Manjano noted that Falarion was dong well, as the maned wolf continued to protect Gigi.

Glancing back at Beth, Manjano saw what looked like an expression of realization dawn on her before he read her lips saying his name. Wait, did that mean she understood how he was remaining hidden from the naked eye?

Uncertain of what had dawned on Beth, Manjano felt himself begin to worry a bit until his worry was instantly replaced with fury, which was aimed at the beast that was now attacking Beth.

With a determined expression on his face, Manjano then swiftly threw one of his daggers at the beast, just as Beth knocked it away from herself.

Mid-throw, the dagger reappeared, after it had separated from Manjano, and then it swiftly pierced the beast in the neck. The beast instantly yelped and whined, as it stumbled to the side before slumping over, its chest still rapidly rising and falling, as it struggled to breathe while it choked on its own blood.

Calmly walking past Beth, leaving a trail of cracking and splintering glass, Manjano then walked up to the beast and knelt down before removing his dagger, which immediately disappeared once more, before he slammed it into the beast's head to end its misery.

Wiping his daggers clean on the dead beast's coat, Manjano then stood up and sheathed both of the daggers before turning off his watch and approaching Beth so she could see him again.

Glancing warily down at her, Manjano then bit his lip before extending one of his hands towards her so he could help her back to her feet.

Hoping it wasn't too obvious that his heart was racing, Manjano kept his gaze on Beth's forehead instead of meeting her eyes in the moment.

@Flutterby

Samantha finished off the creature that attacked Gigi earlier by stabbing it in the head killing it instantly,she picked up more glass shards and hurled them at various shadow beasts,the larger ones would recoil with tooth and claw leaving her with scratches mostly on her arm "Everyone okay?" She asked both man and beast before grabbing a long shard of glass and chucking it at an enemy cars tires causing it to rapidly deflate and lose most of its control "Maybe we should focus more on the cars...if we stop them they can't chase us on foot,then we just deal with their animals or they scatter so we can deal with them easier!" She said

@anybody in the limo

Beth watched in a mixture of confusion and understanding as the creature that had been after her was impaled by a dagger that seemed to have appeared out of nowhere. Glass crunched. The dagger disappeared again. And then the creature's life ended. She had no idea Manjnao was carrying weapons, let alone two daggers.

He appeared next to the creature, and came toward her to help her up. She accepted the help, slipping her hand into his larger one and standing quickly. Glass fell from her clothing in a soft twinkling. He wouldnt meet her eyes, which she was becoming very used to, so she gave the hand that helped her up a firm squeeze. "Thanks." She said, and glanced at his daggers. "Starting to wish I had brought my hunting gear." She added, with a glance at the scratch on her arm. It was nothing.

Beth turned away from him, and shouted up toward the front, "What if you head back to the Arc and try to shake them in traffic?"

@zCrookedz

She turned back to Manjano, and let go of his hand. Rather suddenly, because she had forgotten she still had it. Her lips parted, as a sentence formed, but a snarl coming from her right chased it away. It seemed like there was no end to the shadowy animals, as another one stalked toward them. What she wouldnt give for her rifle..

@Lioness075

Rin was a bit preoccupied trying to figure out why there was such a crowd for a practice. Sure Gigi may allow some fans, but there were too many by far, he thought to himself. "Something is strange" He thought to Haku, so much into trying to figure out what that he missed the new agent joining them. His mind began racing, looking for things that would be weird or out of the ordinary. He was practically on autopilot from the concert hall to the limo. Thankfully the sudden attack brought him out of his train of thought, unfortunately not quick enough to stop him from inhaling the gas in his gasp of shock. He could feel his muscles begin to slacken, and his mind was going fuzzy. He and Haku dropped to the floor, he reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a small metal vial with a syringe at the tip, almost like an epi-pen. He could feel his fingers going numb as he closed them around the metal tube. "FOCUSSS!!!" He heard Haku shouting into his mind over the chaos around them. With every ounce of willpower and strength he put the shot to his chest and pushed. He could feel the stimulant working it's way into and through him. His muscles and mind began to clear and start to contract again. He didn't go anywhere without his vials, several years working for the watch made sure of that. As the group faced off against the shadowy creatures, he tried to sit himself up. There wasn't a lot of room for a sword to be swung, he stood as best he can, Haku coiling up near his feet, she made her way to a broken window and struck out, biting at the hand of a new creature that was trying to pull itself into the limo. The beast howled in pain as Haku recoiled herself, by the time she was ready to strike again, the animal was seizing up and hanging limply from the window of the other car. A heavy thunk could be heard on the trunk of the limo as something managed to jump onto it. Holding its balance precariously as it smashed the rear window, glass flying both into and away from the limo. Rin wasted no time finding a long shard on the seat. He sent it flying through the new gaping hole, hitting the creature in the shoulder. It grunted and tried to push itself in Rin rushed forward, hands ready to strike, the creature caught a swift punch to the nose. Losing its balance once more Rin continued to shove the creature out of the window and back towards the abnormally large bird in the trailer behind them. "WHO THE HELL IS THAT!!!!!!" He shouted out in surprise as he took a few steps back. "Were you really not paying attention??!!" Was all Haku could respond before biting another hand trying to find its way into the limo.

Alec heard Jimbo yell. If they wanted a shot they needed to get out of the box. "That's a great idea Sam! Jimbo! be ready to move." He crouched near the moon roof opening, trying to to be buffeted by the fighting animals in the limo, but the darn thing was massive. Long enough that Duik would have a few good running paces in it from one end to the other. The animal manning the mounted guns had to stop firing while their comrades jumped to the limo. Alec took his chance when the next wave tried to jump. He aimed his pistol at the front car but there wan't a single weakness he could exploit. Changing tactics he yelled back and Jimbo, "Jimbo! lane change on my signal!"

He had to time this right if the black car was too close to them it would plow into them when Alec made the shot, but the wave was almost over and some of the gunners were appearing again. He watched the one in his target grab the weapon and the barrel swing on its pivot toward him. Just a little longer. There!

There was a loud bang as the pistol went off. The front tire of the black car burst open in a puff of fire. The explosive round had done its work, melting the rubber and forcing the car to jerk toward them. At the same time Alec felt a searing pain in his shoulder and he lost his footing and tumbled back into the limo. Just as Alec had predicted the driver reacted instinctively, yanking on the wheel in the other direction even as he slipped back behind them. The opening was made.

"Floor it Jim!" Alec yelled, even as he lay on the floor, hot blood seeping from the bullet wound. He could hardly see in the darkness, suddenly a creature was on him, snapping teeth trying to fasten onto any part of him.

"Alec!" Duik called, the hyena could see just fine in the dim lighting. "Hang on! I'm coming! They're all badgers!"

The chase was fast coming up on the Arc du Triomphe round about.

"Jimbo! Do what Beth said! Go for the Arc!" Alec barked as he hit the creature in the nose, making it recoil for a moment. It could well be that their ability to navigate one of the most difficult places in Europe could be the key to losing their pursuers.

@zCrookedz @ManyFaces @Flutterby @everyone

Gigi was taken aback by the sudden eruption of violence, but she took a breathe to calm herself and when Falarion looked at her, his jaws stained red she nodded at him.

Gigi had never fought a thing in her life but even she aimed a few good kicks at the attacking animals to try and throw them off balance.

"Take zat you ruffian!" She barked, going to stand beside Falarion instead of behind him.

@Lioness075

Bael jerked under the badger, kneeing and kicking — and had he bit at it once? — and struggled under the beast. He suffered a bite to the arm but that was when Totus appeared. He dragged himself up, looking around, and realized things were no better yet. He sat there blankly, watching the battle with a stupid sense of blankness. He had no clue what he was to do or where to go. There was just... Things. Attacking.

He couldn't even begin to think of what to do. What could he do? They just kept coming, and he couldn't even think to stand up. He was just beginning to comprehend the situation when guns were shot. "Where are the police?" He asked quietly, confused. Then he snapped out of it when he heard the word Arc. He stopped and looked up front, calling, "You're taking this into the Arc!?" He slipped into the floor, and dragged one of the beasts' feet out from under it and pinning it to the ground with his knees.

Cedar bit one of the Badgers in the face, throwing it across the room and setting upon it like only a bear would, tearing it apart. He snarled and turned upon another, Swatting at it and sending it kareening across the cabin.

Jimbo perked up at the sound of Alec calling out to him. Finally, a plan to get the hell out of here. Jim kept the limo as steady as he could to give Alec enough time to do what it was that he planned on doing.

In the meantime, Simon stuffed himself back into the limo with a pretty big grin on his face. His hair was windblown and seemed a bit messier than usual. He looked to the chaos inside, and saw that everyone was pretty preoccupied with the badgers that had made it inside. He looked into the front to see Leandra and Luness had joined Jim in the front. eyes forwards once more, Simon saw the badger that was approaching Beth and he immediately picked up the crutch from his seat and swung the metal thing it its head.

@Flutterby

Jimbo zipped in and out of the traffic the best he could, and when Alec finally gave him the word, Jimbo put the petal to the metal and floored it. Zipping past the car that Alec had taken care of, Jimbo began to scan the scenery for the arch that everyone was talking about. Two large square pillars with a giant arch between them, Jimbo could only guess that this was the arch they were looking for.

He pushed through the traffic with pretty good accuracy, but it wasn't till he got to the first of the circles that he had to yell back to the others.

"Everyone NOT a badger, HANG ON!"

Eyeing a short opening in the flow of traffic, Jimbo tapped the breaks and drifted the limos huge back end into the traffic of the circle. He hit the gas and began to swerve through the circles traffic towards the inner circle. Once again he hit the brakes when he found an opening and swung the limos back end heading for the inner circle. He went around about three quarters of the circle before peeling back out of the inner circle and into the outer circle once more. Jimbo was not stopping to see if the cars behind him were following them or not.

Hopefully the group had hung on to something while Jimbo drifted through the traffic os angry Europeans. After bashing the head of the badger with his crutch, Simon gripped the seat tight as he felt the back end of the limo begin to swerve into the traffic. He had a pretty good grip and should anyone not be able to hold their own Simon did have a free arm to reach out and grab hold of to keep anyone from getting injured.

After helping Beth up, Manjano flinched in mild surprise when she suddenly yelled a plan to Jimbo up front.

Knowing that she currently had no weapons on her, Manjano went to unsheathe one of his black and deadly daggers to her, but froze when he realized Beth was still holding his hand.

Glancing down at his hand in time to see Beth anxiously pull her hand out of his, Manjano blinked and let his awkwardly drop to his side. Looking back up to see Beth about to say something, Manjano's heart began to race, but the anxiety quickly became adrenaline, as he heard a snarl from yet another beast nearby.

Overhearing Duik shouting nearby, Manjano noted the new information that these mysterious beasts were in fact badgers.

Aware that Beth had gotten a scratch, Manjano felt that much more protective of her and quickly shoved one of his daggers' hilts into one of Beth's hands before turning to face the badger with his other dagger in hand.

Since the scratch that Manjano had received was on his face, it naturally bled far more than it probably would've normally, leaving a good trail of blood running down his cheek and then beginning to drip off of his chin. More than anything, it was just an annoyance to Manjano, who quickly swiped at his cheek with a sleeve to stop it from dripping. Alas, he no had a nice smear of blood across the right side of his face, the same side that had the scar over his eye, which was blind.

Before Manjano cold make a move on the badger though, Simon seemingly came out of no where, as he began beating the badger on the head with his...crutch?

Blinking at this, Manjano snapped out of it when Jimbo shouted for everyone to hold on.

Without thinking twice, Manjano sheathed his dagger and then grabbed one of Beth's wrists before pulling her along with him to the nearest seating.

The second they were on the seats, Manjano held onto the seat tightly so he wouldn't fall around in the limo, hoping that Beth had done the same after he'd dragged her over there.

@Flutterby @zCrookedz

Hearing a loud bang in the back, Leandra instantly whipped around in the passenger seat and struggled to see what had just happened, as it was so dark in the limo.

Worry was clear in her expression, as Leandra shouted at Luness, "Lune! Light up the limo so we can all see better!"

Nodding at Leandra's order, Luness quickly flew to a seat that was somewhere in the middle and on the side of the limo before she began humming lightly, while her body heated up and soon she was like a beacon, as the inside of the limo lit up and soon everything could be seen in the limo.

Meanwhile, Luness overheard the announcement to hold on so she dug her talons into the seat she was standing on, effectively stabilizing herself for when Jimbo began whipping the limo around.

@SilverFlight @everyone

The second Luness nicely lit up the limo, Leandra's eyes widened at the sight of Alec bleeding on the floor of the limo with a beast attacking him.

Knowing that Luness was focusing on keeping the limo lit, Leandra cursed under her breath before scrambling out of the front end of the limo, momentarily apologizing to Simon in case she accidentally hit him along the way.

Once she was back inside of the back end of the limo, Leandra picked up the biggest glass shard she could find before sprinting to the back of the limo and literally tackling the badger attacking Alec to the side.

As they rolled through the glass, Leandra muttered another curse word, as she felt the glass cut her shoulder and just above her eyebrow.

The badger was quick to react though, and he almost immediately began struggling and scratching at Leandra's chest to get her to let go of him.

After a second or two of struggling though, Leandra was able to make a quick jab at the badger's heart, and was relieved when her attack was successful and the badger quickly stopped struggling altogether.

Letting out a breath of relief, Leandra quickly got up to her feet and sprinted back to Alec's side before dropping to her knees.

Luckily, Leandra had kept her medical bag on her despite mostly everyone leaving their stuff on the plane.

Taking it off, Leandra began working quickly, as she didn't exactly have time to remove the bullet and could only help stop the bleeding for now.

Stuffing Alec's wound with gauze, Leandra hoped he didn't punch her for the pain she was surely causing him. Not having the time to wait and see if the bleeding would stop with the gauze, Leandra then pulled out a bandage and swiftly wrapped up Alec's shoulder, bringing the bandage across the top of his chest as well to help it stay in place.

Once she was done, Leandra put her backpack back on before grabbed Alec's good shoulder and helping him to his feet.

Hearing Jimbo shouting for people to hold on, Leandra's eyes widened and she shouted at Alec, "Come on! We need to grab onto something!"

Helping Alec over to the nearest seating, Leandra then got a good grip with one of her hands and sat down before looking at Alec and offering a hand in case he was struggling to get a good grip on his own.

@SilverFlight

Hearing Gigi calling the badgers ruffians, Falarion raised an eyebrow at her, but was interrupted when Gigi began kicking at two badgers who were aiming to attack her.

When Gigi joined his side, Falarion gave her a crooked grin before snarling at a nearby badger and lunging at him, managing to literally bite off an ear in the process.

Disgusted, Falarion spat the ear to the side before making a disgusted expression. That was absolutely disgusting.

Before he could attack another badger though, Jimbo made his announcement and Falarion worriedly looked at Gigi, as he had no idea how they could get a grip on anything in here.

Wait, claws plus fabric means they could get a good grip after all!

Scrambling back to their original seating, Falarion shoved his paw at the seat before getting the claws embedded into the fabric for now.

Glancing back at Gigi, Falarion shouted at her, "Gigi! Take my paw or hook your claws into this seat, hurry!"

Beth felt something shoved in her hand. She looked down to find one of Manjano's daggers resting in her left palm. She shifted it toher dominant hand, testing the wieghting. It was nice, but not exactly her style. She preferred something a little smaller and.. well, less weapon-y. Then again, she didnt use her knife in hand to hand combat.

Feeling a little better now, she turned to face the badger. But Simon had their backs, bashing it with a crutch as Jimbo shouted for everyone to hang on. Beth glanced at the knife, nervous about having no where to really put it, and the possibility of stabbing herself on accident, or more likely Manjano. Who at that moment, grabbed her other wrist and pulled her into the nearest seat. When her body hit, she automatically looked for some kind of seat belt. No dice.

The limo began to swerve a little. Out of some kind of instinct, Beth stabbed the dagger she was holding into the seat. Oops. Better than having it in her hand, at least. Beth held on as best she could, as the limo began swerving back and forth. It made her very dizzy. She pushed her hair out of her face, wincing as pieces of glass stung her hand. Manjano had blood all over one cheek; she wanted to make sure it wasnt a big deal. She had no idea where Totus was. Her head hurt. And she had lost her sour gummy worms.

"This is a shitty day." She muttered, as the back end of the limo lurched again. This had better work, or she would be upset with that gorilla.

@Lioness075

Totus left the badger beaten and bloody when he heard someone, maybe Simon, shout to hold on. He perched on the nearest seat, finding it effortless to hold on with his strong talons. What he really needed to do was locate Beth. In the confusion, he had flown all the way to the front and had tucked into a corner of the seats. Most of the limo was blocked from his field of vision. He tried to take a step forward.. and was thrown from the seat. Grumpier than ever, he hopped back up and stayed there, forced to wait until they had lost the tail.

It seemed that the battle was under control - the beasts flashed left and right, trying to expose the weakness of the group but they were unable to overcome their combined might. They all fought with admirable ferocity and cunning, the beasts - no matter how relentless they were - seemed to be outwitted by the group. Seeing how Samantha no longer needed her help she looked around - and suddenly she felt an aching pain in her head. Quickly grabbing it to suppress the pain she found that the agony vanished as quickly as it came - leaving her guessing.

" What the hell... " she hissed to herself as she noticed Bael pinning down an enemy. Quickly she dashed towards him, pummeling the incapacitated enemy with a flurry of blows, injuring it and knocking it unconscious. She saw Wednesday holding her ground valiantly and she looked at Eos, their mind resonating with a single purpose. The stag hurried away to help the girl as Zoe knelt down next to Bael. She saw that the boy was phasing out and only reacting to the gunshots around them, she shook him.

" Snap out of this dizziness! We ARE the police, did you forget? " she said " Well, in cases like this at least. " she threw herself down next to her, touching her wound which strangely did not ache any more. Panting she looked at the boy and nodded.

" Let me... regain my momentum. " she said, shaking her head " Without my weapon it is pretty difficult to fight, I have not done it in quite a while. "

She let out a frown.

" And I can not let you tackle beasts alone unarmed, now can I? "

Eos rushed to the defense of Wednesday, his mighty antlers knocking the beasts left and right which dared to attack her. With a stalwart smile he nodded, standing as a protective bulwark before her.

" Worry not, I shall aid you in battle. " he murmured " I know not what the others plan to do but I will see to it that no harm comes to you. "

@Sleipnir @Hel

Jimbo called back a thanks as Wednesday saved Simon from an unseen attacker and she couldn't help but smile to herself, especially after his suggestion of where else she could hit.

"Maybe when we don't need him to fight!" She had called back to Jimbo with a smile towards Simon- even if he wasn't looking.

@zCrookedz

Around this time, Wednesday found herself thrown into the wall of the car as the swirveing tossed her around a bit. She glanced up at Eos who served to guard her. Both from enemies and the violent jerking of the car.

"Thank you," she said to the stag, truely thankful for his help. Her mind had been spinning this whole time and having smaller things to focus on- like the playful banter with Jimbo, the individual attackers, and Eos- really helped her ground herself. As she looked around now it seemed the battles were largely in their favour, the cars seemed to be backing off, and Gigi was relatively safe. She was fighting her own battles, even!

Wednesday thought she noticed a few injuries, but couldn't help with any of them until they were out of this car.

@DawnAntalios

Cerci had been doing her part in this battle as well, but it the jerking about really threw her off. Not to mention she was starting to feel a bit carsick. She hoped this chase would end soon!

Bael stared at Zoe for awhile when she spoke, disoriented more when she shook him but clearing just a bit. "I can't --" He stopped and shut his eyes for a minute. "The car -- the -- the badgers -- I can't--" He was attempting furiously to come up with a coherent thought, but having no such luck. His mind was drawing a blank as to what it was he was trying to say; he simply could not find words to express what it was he meant. It was getting rather irritating, and he desperately hoped this would end soon.

But what happened next wasn't necessarily any better. The limo swerved violently, and immediately Bael grabbed onto one of the seatbelts with one hand, feeling it jerk to a halt against his weight and he grabbed ahold of Zoe's waist with the other hand instinctively to keep her from sliding across the limo herself. When they managed to straighten out slightly, he looked up at her and it took another few moments to realize, and he let go of her in short order when he did. "...Sorry," he said at a length, then looked back at the others. Then, looking across the melee, a badger broke away and leaped at him. Bael ducked, and utilizing the whip once more like a rope, pinning it against him with it and jerking on the cable against the beast's neck. It got away from him, hacking and coughing, but kept at him. Bael tried to handle the beast on his own and, in the middle of the struggle, he looked up and caught sight of a word on a store -- maybe an advertisement or billboard -- and a thought struck him. Almost without registering he was talking, he called to Zoe, "How about we go out and get some tea or a coffee or something? I think that would be fun." Then he broke away from the badger again, shoving it out the window into the road. Then he put his own head out to watch what happened. After a moment, he yelled, "Sorry!!" and retreated back inside the cabin.

@DawnAntalios

Inkanis took advantage of any animal thrown out the window of the limo,her neck was long enough to snatch some out of the air but the ones closer to the ground were beyond her reach,a certain badger smacked her in the face as it was flung near her but she caught it in her beak,she snapped its neck before downing it in one gulp but was still hungry,she hadn't had breakfast or lunch,"Throw some badgers back here let me get some tasty action" she screeched out the window of her trailer and clacked her beak a few times.

Samantha gave Luness a thumbs up thanking her for the light,if they survived this she would have to give her teammates highfives,her thoughts were interrupted as a badger came running at her the furry black thing bit into some glass which Samantha winced at when she shoved the glass down its throat killing it in a gorey fashion "Gah...how can these cowards continue to send these animals to do their dirty work and why are they so agressive?Maybe we should capture one for testing?" she asked somewhat meekly since the chaos seemed to be filled with blood,Gigi surely must have been something really important to have an assault like that on her as soon as she left,she felt the limo lurch and grabbed onto a seat trying to avoid falling onto the glass with her might.

@Lioness075 @anyone else in the crazy limo

At his order Gigi threw her paws about Falarion's neck and closed her eyes as she hung on for dear life. The car flung itself into the local traffic. One black car collided with a small red mini and when swerving sideways to block oncoming motorists. The gunners were flung from their posts in the remaining cars as the drivers hurriedly tried to get back into line.

@Lioness075

"Thanks Leandra," Alec said after she had dressed his wound quickly. "Its just a pass through. Bullet didn't stay." He tried to grin but through the pain it came out as more of a grimace.

@Lioness075

As the limo turned onto the Roundabout Alec felt himself slipping to one side of the car. The badgers seemed well in hand. He heard one shriek as it was snapped up by Samantha's massive terror bird.

The rest of the badgers seemed quite nervous after that.

@ManyFaces

Alec hauled himself back up to the moon roof. They still had unwanted company. He took a couple more glancing shots at the cars, one cracked the windshield of another black car.

They cleared the roundabout and tore onto a main street, unfortunately that street had been closed for repaving. The limo hit the thick gravel and the wheels spun for a moment as the new terrain caught. The roar of rubber on lose stone filled his ears as he tried to stay upright. It wasn't until it was too late that Alec realized one of the gunners had managed to climb back to his turret. The shot fired just as the car hit a bump and one of the limo's tires exploded. This tossed Alec painfully back and his spine connected with the side of the opening. He yelped. The limo careened to one side sliding off the gravel and onto the sandy walkway and then onto grass. The momentum send Alec sprawling out of the roof and he was flung bodily into a shaped topiary. The limo finally came to a halt inches before a huge tree.

The black cars rolled to a stop just before it, angling the guns at the doors of the broken limo.

One of the black car doors began to open and a foot, a human foot was planted firmly on the ground. Alec saw it as he was suspended upside down in the leafy branches. Just then the figure paused. In the distance the sound of sirens could be heard over the din of the Arc du Triomphe which by now had a massive pileup due to one of the rogue automobiles spinning out on it.

He gave a rough command and got back in the car. They pulled back onto the road and raced away, leaving The companions with the approaching sirens.

Calista groaned and she reached for the door. The crash had caused her to hit her head which ached dully and made her vision blur.

"Come back here...you dirt-shoving jerks!" She called after the retreating cars. "Cowards." She mumbled, checking to see if her earpiece was still intact.

"Nice work people...could've done without the reckless endangerment, but those badgers didn't give us much of a choice. The Watch will make a polite call to the local authorities. We shouldn't have much of a problem."

Duik was mostly unhurt too, the limo's interior was extremely padded thank god. He picked himself up and shook his head.

"Ok! Who didn't die?"

@everyone

Gigi was still slinging to Falarion, her eyes shut tight. In the silence and stillness she dared to open them again. Suddenly she realized she might be holding on too hard.

"Oh! Forgive me, I 'ope I have not hurt you." She stepped away and tried her best to smooth the fur on her ears with a paw. "You were very brave." She said to the maned wolf, her eyes filled with genuine appreciation. She then looked at the others. "You all were. Ca va tout le monde? Is everyone all right?"

@Lioness075 @everyone

Alec hurt all over, but as far as he could tell nothing was broken. the bandage Leandra had to carefully done up for him had been ripped off by the branches and after he freed himself he took the bandages down as well, not really sure why. His hair was completely disheveled and littered with twigs and leaves and shirt was torn in several places. He lifted one of the shreds with a sigh. "That, was my last silk shirt." Then it occurred to him that there were much more important things to deal with. he raced back to the limo.

"Is everyone all right? Xiao?"
