(The overall setting is, as I'm sure you've guessed, an alternate Earth,)

No, but I'm huge Skullduggery Pleasant fan and Spring Heeled Jack makes several appearances in those. That version of him is what I'll be basing my version on.

Hey um. Is being Witch as a race an acceptable thing?
Its not going to be things like flinging fireballs and magical explosions. Its more like creating charms and potions, and other mild supernatural things. Anything bigger than that requires rituals.
I dont know anything about magic in this RP so just thought id ask .-.

Can lycanthropy be contagious at any point? Like, during the full moon, through a scratch or a bite?

Is there any discrimination against lycanthropes in the system? Would my character be kept out of the police force or something similar?

Being a witch is fine. Magic is sort of how it is in Harry Potter, some people can use it some can't. Each magic user has a type of magic they have an affinity for from offensive spells to curses and charms.

Yes lycanthropy is contagious during the full moon through a bite. There is an antidote but it must be administered up to an hour after infection. Werebeast in general are feared because of how dangerous they can be, as such they often hide their condition. If your character wishes to be an officer than they can't let slip that they are a werebeast.

Actually this works perfectly with his original sheet. Thaddeus stayed out of the force and actually became a freelance investigator. XD
