I seriously considered doing a different race just because a 20 year life span is going to force me to create new characters practically every rotation. But dammit, I love my little ratties.

I see you saw the addition. The second and third map are the ones we are using since Bone left and it's easier to work with. Though it still has some places that need to be transferred over, so I've kept the old one there for now. Plus, new continents can be added to accommodate players if necessary so the map will probably be changing as we rp anyway.

Also I had a question regarding my fairy and her stats. Since she's an oracle her powers of prophecy don't really fall neatly into the established stats. So I was thinking, since telling the future is kind of all-inclusive, would it be alright if I just get 1 point in each stat rather than a starting 5 in one?

No, sadly.

It's what she's best at (of the five specialties), not necessarily having to do with her powers. Though the main reason I'm saying no for fairness in game-mechanics. I allow a good chunk of freedom story-wise, but, game-wise, everyone starts the same.

If you have her specialize in tech you'd have five .5 points to distribute however you wanted since every point of tech gets you other stats.

I thought they were both out of the RP, so their nations were NPCs now?

Just bone. I haven't heard anything from Elucid so I don't want to make things difficult in case they decide to jump back in again. I meant for this rp to be easy to leave and come back into...since, besides the convergences, kingdom development is a largely independent endeavor.

But, even if they have left, some might not feel comfortable having their creations played by another so, unless I have expression permission to do so, their nation+characters just remain in the background (possibly just mentioned from time to time, but rarely given dialogue)
