Could I try both at once with a stunt using a noble rant?
You could, but it would suffer a -3 penalty for targeting more than one person.

Hmm. Bummer. But! I'm nothing if not a risk taker. And I'm able to fight still. You could, but it would suffer a -3 penalty for targeting more than one person.
Will roll again if you wish me to do so for Ryan.

Given that I likely didnt pass the resolve for Ganzin. If Ryan doesnt stood him and Ganzin attacks...
Given that Zed is at the ready, would he be able to defend against an attack on the dragon blooded? It throw himself in the path of the attack to take what damage was meant for her if need be?
I'll make separate rolls then.If you're going to make separate rolls, you can ignore the -3 penalty.
You can roll Join Battle, if you want to try and stop Ganzin.
I wouldn't expect a lethal throwdown as a player, but the characters haven't traveled together for that long yet.
Also, how is Zedradon at Resolve 4? I thought it was Wits+Integrity/2 round up. Wouldn't that be 3 for him?
OK, I've read up on IC thread. Let me think on how to approach this situation.
Did Quill leave the group behind?
jaydude I've been discussion our triumphant return with Epiphany and our suggestion is that a day or two before the checkpoint, Ysandre and Catseye went off on a sidequest to the local elemental courts in order to obtain information on the god of the river we're currently sailing down and which runs past Nalia. Said god would be a very useful ally, and not actually passing through the checkpoint might be very useful to Ysandre who's got a bounty on her pretty and very recognisable head. How does that sound?
We were thinking of having only gotten enough information to meet the god later, and then skipping ahead. We don't want to hold up the group more than necessary, and making an ally of a relevant god is not something we should just handwave. That sounds perfectly fine to me.
If the other players are fine with it, I can DM your side quest. Otherwise I might have to skip to when you rejoin the others, having befriended or made contact with the River God.
