I totally dropped the ball on family and vassals. Btw sorry I haven't gotten my post out yet guys. I have three messengers to reply to plus it's finals week. I'm really proud that I squeezed out those replies to two whole horsemen. Now I just need to send my own messenger to the Baron and asking if he's also willing to start alliance talks.bet lorsh highly appreciates you doing the heavy lifting when it comes to making vassal characters
I was just like "yea I have some nephew vassals"
RIP. Welp, iirc at one point it was mentioned that Robert used to go hunting with his uncle around the forests near Avon Mowg... was that just a euphemism for monster slaying? Also... uhh my ships are literally passing the area as we speak lmao.
I did it! I finished the post!i gave absolutely no thought to this
i need to kibosh this actually - they are deserted but ominous ruins
i did try to roll with it and no attacks happened after i used random.org, but it creates too many complications - like a lot of men would be too spooked to go
so they are just mildly spooky ruins
I'm with Jiwon here, I too thought Awon Mowg was really strategic looking. It should have more to it than mere spoopiness. It ought to have like a powerful guardian or something. Maybe a Barrow Wight? LorshIn all seriousness though, if Avon Mowg is just an abandoned castle... it seems to be in such a strategic location that someone probably would have rebuilt it. Probably makes more sense for it to be haunted or something, but up to you.
I dig it. Sounds really cool, and I've always been a big fan of very powerful Draugr/Barrow Wights/Ghouls that type of thing. Not your regular old zombie no, but something like a dread knight of darkness and power.Yea, maybe something(s) deep inside the ruins that stops people from trying to reclaim the castle or something like that? So, generally going around it is fine, but step into the ruins proper and well... there's myths and legends for a reason.
I enjoy making NPCs honestly. If I let myself there would be detailed lists of the vassals other family members.bet lorsh highly appreciates you doing the heavy lifting when it comes to making vassal characters

It's an easy decision, you rain down blows upon the bastards who assaulted your vassals thus safeguarding honor and to showcase your strength as a lord that defends his people. What is the worth of a lord who turns the other cheek? It is a sign of weakness! That you cannot or will not defend yourself or your people!I'm not sure how to respond here, seems like neither side particularly instigated things, but one of them made an attempt on Morran's life...
Well that's the answer Philippe would give and probably even most Lords. Whatever you do though you need to assure your vassals that you're on their side and are willing to protect them.shiiit
