"Oh, so those type of guys are still exist here", Howard chuckled. His first impression about this school is that the students here are all stick-in-the-mud bookworms with perfect GPAs and stuff. But it turns out, they're all still teenagers with raging hormones. "She must be lucky to have you as a sister. But you know what, you seem nice so let me give you some advice on guys like that: Often times they..."

His voice trailed off when he heard some people passing by.

"Dude, did you hear? Garrick Reed's targeted by Rozen now!"

"Yo, really? Man, he's fucked"

"But that's just a rumor, y'know. Why don't we ask him? He's from the same class, right? Speaking of which, where is he?"

"Holy shit, they caught him already!"

"Don't say that! He's probably just sick"

As soon as their voices are no longer audible, Howard asked Mimi a question. "Hey, what's Rozen? Are they some sort of club here?"

@Mitchs98
Mimi Farrell

Mimi shrugged at his initial question, "I guess so..?" She replied. She was heavily confused by what he meant about 'those guys'. Did he mean freaky guys that choose to follow someone around and probably murder whoever they were following? Or? Didn't make much sense to her at all, really. Oh well. She blushed slightly at his compliment, though that soon faded as a group of people started speaking about someone being targetted by Rozen. Anger briefly washed over her face at the mention of it, though quickly faded back to a neutral expression. Despite all efforts she'd yet to find any leads towards Rozen, though she was determined to do so. When asked what Rozen was she blinked. "You could say that...they're targetting different people..taking away their powers somehow. I-I'm not sure about much beyond that." She replied. Which was true, she really had no idea at all.

Louise was, to say the least, absolutely terrified. It was a wonder how she managed to not wet her pants.

This is it, she thought to herself. Goodbye auntie, goodbye Annie, goodbye Stephan. Oh, how I hope auntie remembers to feed Annie, and hope she remembers Stephan doesn't like carrots as much as he likes lettuce. And for a moment, she almost forgot where she was and was busy fretting over whether auntie remembered that Stephan, her rabbit, didn't like vegetables.

And as much as she would have wished otherwise, this state of bliss didn't last very long. For within moments she could feel something pushing against the boundaries of her mind, if that's the way to describe. Like an intruder, trying to enter her head and uncover all her secrets.
Oh my, oh my Louise, you're going absolutely bonkers, she scolded herself. You need to stop letting the people of this madhouse get in your head! Dismissing the probing, and very uncomfortable, feeling for her imagination, she turned back to the problem at hand.

The bully, which she had so carelessly launched herself at.

She heard what he had to say, and took a moment to think before speaking. Now, mind you, to find Louise think before she spoke must mean that she was in a significant amount of distress.

"You talk of the food chain as if it was a real thing. And of course it is, otherwise the students wouldn't have listened to you like a pack of trained dogs. They knew where they stood on the food chain, just like I do and you do and everybody in this room does." As she spoke, she moved closer to him, trying to appear more menacing than she felt.

"But funny things they are, food chains. You think that just because the bigger fish eat the little fish, the bigger fish are the powerful, they are the feared. Yet, if all the smaller fish died, the bigger fish would be gone like this," she finished with a snap of her fingers. His gaze seemed to be burning holes through her, and it took all her willpower to stop herself from stuttering.

"So tell me, if every little fish in this room forgot the food chain existed, where would you be?"

With that, she walked herself over to his table, and plopped herself down with a thud. "In fact, I believe I have already forgotten," she finished, but not before giving him the finger. (It should be worth noting, that by this point, Louise was fearing for her life.)

Varien pulled out his phone after is buzzed in his pocket. He smirked at the message before shoving it back into his pocket and teading it out for a packet of cigarettes. Most likely, the dormouse would head to their HQ to catch a quick nap. If this was a mission for what he thought it would be, then his illusions would be helpful.

Varien smacked the bottom of the paper package before pulling out one of the white sticks. He traded the cigarettes out for a lighter and lit the stick before taking a drag and dropping the lighter back into hos pocket. Letting out a sigh, he watched the smoke float up into the sky. It wouldn't be good if he was caught, that would mean he would have to buy more cigarettes. Now if Whitney would just hurry up, they could leave.

Cecil Mayhew As he watched Louise address the bully, the Cheshire Cat couldn't help but question how she knew his name. Had she done her homework on the people in the school? Or had she simply overheard fractions of the boy's name? Either way, this girl could be an asset to the cause, if a bit of a risky choice.

His choice of friends and activities led most to believe he had nothing to do with his life- a true statement outside of the realms of Lillium. Frequently seen laughing at other's misfortune had brought some to the conclusion that he was in Rozen. It didn't help that one of his powers was invisibility, so many students mused that he could be dropping the warnings. This thought was entirely preposterous, but brought him joy in the knowledge that nobody really knew him.

"Yeah, I'll go see her with you. Or prepare a eulogy for our little mousey friend. Either way, I'll be seeing you." He grinned, before deciding that he was tired and dropped his head onto his companion's shoulder. This wasn't a rare event for Cecil, as previous lovers had found it quite endearing. It had also been the cause for the demise of many relationships- missing entire dates due to naps.

Julian Durand Ever the drama queen, he chose to fly to a rooftop where he could observe everyone outside. The knowledge that he put not just his friends, but the entire operation at risk weighed heavily on his conscience. It distracted him from his studying to the point that he was forced to read each page four times before the information began to sink in.
Julian Durand

With a heavy sigh, Julian tore a page from his composition book and wrote an apology in his loopy calligraphic handwriting. Instead of going towards the group of Rozen people, he flew to where he knew Whitney's room was.

In one of the creepiest moments of his life, he climbed in through the slightly open window. Glad that there was no roommate to be seen, the Jubjub bird simply placed the note beneath her pillow before leaving through the window.

Blanche didn't seem like the type to be anything more than self-interested. While, that wasn't untrue, he was very interested in himself and everything pertaining to himself, he also shared an interest in what made other people themselves. So naturally, he was affronted by anything that threatened to take those natural oddities and uniqueness.

And somehow, part of him both mourned and relished each passing gift wasted, stolen by Rozen. He celebrated one less oddity in the world, one more way he stood out compared to others, yet he mourned the fact that a talent was lost anyways. It was just another part of his dual nature that he'd never understand.

"Thanks," Blanche replied, not at all surprised by the head on his shoulder, being one of those people who found it endearing. "If you acted cute like this all the time, I might actually feel bad for feeding your snacks to the birds." He also couldn't resist adding, a definite lie.

Her heels clacked on the floor as she walked, not unlike when he headed to her room in the first place. She no longer carried her basket nor her bag, but she did still bear Onyx in her arms. She bore that same neutral expression, more bored than anything. Hopefully this wouldn't take too long.

The letter was pretty much just as she had suspected it would be when she realized it was from Julian. She found it only by the glimpse of her vision, doing a double take and stopping in her tracks. She had grabbed it and plopped down on the bed, simply looking it over. Carefully, she opened it and examined it carefully. She had taken a deep breath and set it on her pillow, taking the time to look reflectively out the window. This surprise had to be good, that was for sure.

Her green sundress showed no hint of what was to come. What must come. She walked outside, looking for that sister of hers. She usually pulled some nonsense like that and went outside to be alone. One of these days, she would grow out of it, right? Nevertheless, she needed to find her fast. It had taken shorter than she had estimated, as she found Mimi at but the second spot she had checked. What luck! She quickly approached her sister, barely noticing that she was socializing.

"Look, I need you to take care of Onyx for a little while. He has a migraine from an earlier incident, and I can't just leave him alone. I have to be somewhere, so I can't take him. Just... don't be loud or anything, okay?" she asked of her sister, immediately but carefully setting Onyx into her lap. "I have to go, but I'll be right back, promise," she said, flashing her sister a grateful grin. She glanced at the other boy, holding her gaze for perhaps a moment longer than she should have. Then she was off, making no detours as she headed to the fountain.

Once she had gotten there, she saw Varien just chilling with his smokes. She frowned as she got there, mainly because he knew very well that smoking was against school policy. But first thing was first. "Where's out third member? You did remember to get one, right? Also," she said, quickly changing subjects before he could answer, "you shouldn't be smoking. We've discussed this before!" she scolded, promptly reaching for the cigarette herself.

Varien frowned and lifted the cigarette out of her reach. She tried before to tell him off for smoking, but he untimately didn't care. "I'll be fine. You may he my charge, but you're not my mother. Regardless of my habits, our third member is most likely at HQ taking a nap as per usual." He told her. Varien hoped the Dormouse was there at least. Forgetting about Whitney's trying to get the stick between his fingers, he lowered it and took another drag before blowing its smoke upwards and away from Whitney.

Anders could not believe this PEASANTS complete disregard for who he was. He is Anders Vinterhall, he has done things most wouldn't do in their dizziest of day dreams. With shaking hands and a long heavy sigh he reaches up removing the glasses folding them with two light clicks. Finally placing them in his shirt pocket, Anders says in frosty whisper "remove yourself fool...your spectacle is wasted on these plebs, there is no one here who will help you. If you do not Vacate the table...I'm going to remove you."

Anders raises his ring clad hand feeling the power rumbling forward in a wave, he was prepared to launch her clear across the room.

No one saw Jason move, all focus was on the two quarreling over the table. Leaving the tray of food there he moved his six foot tall mass in a bee line fore Anders. He would not harm the little girl. Finally closing the distance, Jason placed one big hand on Anders shoulder shoving him several feet away into the walk with a thud. Jason's face was stoic as he stood between Louise and her attacker.

Flexing his broad chest he says only one word "No."

As Anders back hits the near by wall he faces Jason. Gritting his teeth the privileged youth spits out "You dare put your hands on me you Oafish giant!" "Seriously? That's freaky, man!", Howard was genuinely surprised by that. He expected the super-human food fights and the super-powered bullying jock, but he never expected a group that steals abilities from other people. Heck, he didn't even know there's an ability that can steal abilities. "But to think a group like that can freely do what they want in this school... man, the security here is lousy", he chuckled then he suddenly thought of something. If the security here are as lousy as he thinks they are, then does that mean... "I can leave even after curfew", he didn't notice he said this out loud but the thought itself made him smile.

Although the officers told him he can't leave the school without an officer watching him, perhaps they wouldn't mind if he just left without them knowing. He wasn't going to leave and never return until the end of time anyway. He's just going to visit his mom at the hospital, then back he goes into his dorm. Howard began thinking of escape plans when another girl with blond hair approached Mimi. After giving her the star-shaped... thing to Mimi, the girl stared at Howard a little too long. He simply nodded at her until she left. Ah, I see, Howard smiled. It must be my manly charms.

He stared at the star-shaped being Mimi was clutching and began poking it gently. "What kind of dog is this?"

She pouted when he lifted it up far out of her reach. How rude of him to stop her stopping him! Regardless, now was not the time for this. "Fine. Let's go get him so we can get this over with. And to be clear you are not smoking when we go out on our mission," she stated firmly, glaring up at him with determination. After a moment, she looked away, quite obviously annoyed. Why did he have to do that? Especially around her! She spun around and looked at nothing in particular, except perhaps the path ahead. She could always try to trick herself to feign ignorance. Fake it till you make it. "Well, let's get a move on."

Cecil Mayhew Lazily he watched the conversation through half-lidded eyes, waiting for something to kick off. After a while with no action, he finally let his eyes shut and yawned softly. That night he'd only gotten ten hours of sleep- he was entirely exhausted, limbs fatigued. He'd done nothing thus far, but the very act of his cells respiring left him out of breath.

His grin faded to a slight smirk, his very relaxed voice retorting to the threat with,"And I'd feel sorry for shredding everything in your fabric box, if you were as cute as I am."

This was a true incident that had occurred during his first year at the school when he was still a little feral. In his feline form he somewhat lost control, tearing all of the colourful materials into thin shreds. Cecil didn't really even regret it, as the silk had made a lovely bed for afterwards.

Mimi couldn't help but nod in silent agreement when he mentioned it being freaky. She didn't understand why they did it herself, or even how it was possible for such a thing to happen. Though in a way she guessed it was a good thing for some of them? Some of the students had dangerous powers and were jerks, it was somewhat beneficial in some odd way when Rozen targetted them she guessed. "
I-It's not that security allows it. They just do everything in secret..with disguises and stuff. S-security has tried to stop and find them but they haven't had any luck." She replied. Soon after Whitney appeared and gave her Star to look after. Before she could say anything for or against looking after them Whitney walked off. Of course she'd look after him, she adored him much like her sister did. She thought her lucky to have such an adorable pet. She smiled down at him and gently pet his head, turning to Howard when he asked about him.

"
It's not a dog..I'm not entirely sure what it is. It's Whitneys pet, his name is Onyx." She explained. "O-Oh and that was Whitney, my sister. She's nice, really..I-I guess she's just busy."

She looked at him for a moment before heading off. She was quite glad he had thrown it out, or she'd have to start climbing him to get it. Faking it was not working, and she knew she wasn't going to just let him do that.

When they finally arrived after a trek in silence, she prodded the dormouse awake by poking his face repeatedly. "Come on, we have to go now. You guys have your disguises, right?" she asked, glancing back at Varien briefly with an inquisitive look. She took a seat nearby and just relaxed for a moment, simply waiting for the dormouse to awake. She was glad that she had a small excuse to not be on her feet for once, as she felt she had been running around all day! But she still had quite a bit to do before lunch was even over, and she hoped this wouldn't take too long. Well, it wouldn't as long as someone got up in a reasonable amount of time.

Varien nodded, mask in hand after retrieving it from another room. Putting it on, he made sure it would be secure on his head during their mission. The blackened eyes and red triangles on its lower half gave Varien. A rather bestial look. The mask did mot only affect his appearance it seemed, but his stance. It was as if he was ready to lash out with tooth and claw at the command of his Queen.

But that wasnt the only change. A full body black leather suit was now worn, assisting in the dangerous air around him. The suit was worn in order to keep any identifying facts about him hidden. He nodded to Whitney. "I'm ready, My Queen."

”I’m awake, I’m awake…” His voice was groggy, as one might expect, but soon his body would move, as he sat down at the couch, yawning while stretching his arms in a rather adorable fashion. His crimson eyes found his Queens, gracing her with a look devoid of any clear emotions. One she was used by now, no doubt. “What are we doing exactly…?” He spoke up before taking off to the another room, as Varien once did. On the way, however, he was not able to restrain himself from rolling his eyes at the Jabberwocky’s ‘transformation’.

Aaaand this is why you’re the lapdog…

He just had to proclaim his devotion at any given opportunity, hadn’t he? It was ridiculous for him, really. Perhaps because his own diverged in such a blatant way in comparison to his. It was there, always, even if Whitney could not perceive it as such. That was enough for him. He had no need to prove it by engaging in…whatever that was he did.

Well, as long as she likes it, I guess that’s all the reason he needs to do it, right?…

A few minutes later, there he stood, all dressed up, emerging from the room as his Dormouse persona. The final touches came in the form of adjusting his gas mask, one that allowed to idulge himself in the way of a Rozen without any unpleasant repercusssionas to his identity.
“This better be worth my beauty sleep, Queenie …”

She hoisted herself up and stretched, making sure she was loose and limber enough for this. She raised her hands palms up and summoned a star, letting its rays of light enshroud her. As the stardust settled upon her, they outlined her dress and masquerade mask, still shimmering until it was all in place. Then, from the top down, it solidified into her outfit, dulling themselves and changing to their proper colors. Once it was done, the star burst into a collection of stardust that disappeared as it fell from the ceiling. She stretched once more, probably because she was just a little tired.

"Alrighty boys, let's go," she said, almost devoid of emotion. She led them out into the halls, which were empty in the basement. She wasn't surprised, as it wasn't exactly a hotspot for the lunch rush. Once they got upstairs, though, that all changed. She walked down the hall with her two companions flanking her (I assume), staring straight ahead as she walked elegantly with her hands clasped loosely in front of her. She took a detour away from the cafeteria so as to not bring about too much attention, but they inevitably passed some people along the way. They, of course, ceased all conversation and looked nervously upon the crew, though no one dared to stop them.

She aimed to get there quickly so as to not attract too much attention then linger on for too long. After all, they wanted to get away before anyone knew what they were doing. She said nothing, not a comment or a response even crossing her mind. All she wanted to do was focus on the task at hand, and hopefully get it over with. After all, they had a surprise to plan. Lunch wouldn't last forever.

Mimi shrugged. "
I-I dunno..I guess you have a point.." She replied, blushing slightly due to the fact that she herself wore a costume when trying to track down Rozen. Really the main reason they wore them she guessed was to hide their true identities from each other. Though, everyone used fairly unique magic so she didn't understand why herself. When said they didn't look like sisters she simply shrugged once more. "We're twins, actually." She explained. "Fraternal..we don't really look anything alike I guess huh?" She asked. She smiled as Onyx started gnawing on Howards fingers, she had to admit the little guy was as adorable as ever. Though she felt bad that he had a headache.

Blanche scowled, of course remembering this incident. He had salvaged the fabric and made cute ribbons and hair accessories for all the girls, giving him an odd boost of popularity that year as well as popularizing pom-pom hairstyles for a whole of 3 months after said incident.

Blanche had tried to request a new roommate several times before giving up.

The male gave Cecil a not so gentle shake when another student appeared, looking like there was going to be a real fight, minus food. "Look!" he whispered, shaking the male. "They're going to fight! Louise really is a troublemaker." Blanche said, a tone of awe in his voice.

"Should we leave before the teachers come and pin us as witnesses to murder?" The upperclassman said gleefully, turning slightly in his seat to look at the door.

There were, approximately, a million thoughts running through her head, but mostly along the lines of: should-I-let-this-stranger-fight-for-the price-of-forever-remaining-in-his-debt and hey-I-can-take-care-of-myself-I-don't-need-a-man. Mostly the latter. Because the only thing Louise detested more than owing anything to people, it was being perceived as weak. And Louise was not weak. But this nice stranger wanted to be her friend and help her out, and the girl was in no position to turn down a friend. Besides, the guy was huge, and probably wouldn't be so easily beaten. So, instead of telling him to shoo away, she stood next to him, and pulled out a lighter. It was blue and decorated in polka dots. It looked as harmless as a kitten, and that was why she always carried it around. For full effect, she lit her hands on fire slowly. The skin did not burn away, nor did the fire spread, as one would expect it to. Instead, the fire burned bright blue.

Varien followed along the Queen silently. He wasn't sure who they were out for, but he was prepared to fight regardless. And he was not someone to be underestimated in combat. Varien leaned forward, next to Whitney "So. Who are we after?" He asked her. It would have been much more efficient if they had discussed this prior to leaving. His eyes, hidden behind black mesh, darted from student to student as they passed. Can't have anyone trying to be a hero now.

Cecil Mayhew As he saw the small girl's hands set ablaze, the boy's smile disappeared. Eyes widening at the blue flames, his body went rigid as memories flooded his mind. That fire...Only bad things had ever come from that, and all of the possibilities flocked to him.

Snapping out of his waking nightmare, Cecil hurried to his feet and seized his companion's hand in his. "We're leaving before we get trapped by a flaming rafter." With a surprising strength, he pulled Blanche to his feet and tugged him past the fight to the door.

As he passed, he sped up to avoid any possible carnage, his usually joyful face stern without a trace of glee. His nails dug into Blanche's hand from the sheer force with which he held on. Not that the Cheshire Cat had noticed this.

Once outside he allowed himself to relax somewhat, pace slowing down despite his vice-like grip. His mind whirred about whether to introduce Louise to the White Queen- her morals were in the right place, but with a power that had such capabilities to destroy...

Being pulled to his feet automatically snapped Blanche from his dazed on-look of the situation. What an odd color for a flame to be, was his only thought as he was dragged out the door, being neither heavy enough to really have a say in the matter or any reasonable complaint about getting out of the way of danger, which was honestly his suggestion in the first place.

The male knew that compared to most other students, his abilities didn't really contribute any real protection to him.

The bright sunlight reminded Blanche almost immediately that his sunglasses had been left on the table, and he was left nearly blind as he followed behind Cecil. His temples throbbed and the male held his hand aloft to try to cast some sort of shadow on his face.

"We ought to try and recruit her," Blanche said finally, seeming to have picked up on Cecil's train of thought, which was a bumbling mess, and the male almost had the urge to try and reorganize it, just so it wouldn't distract him. He pulled Cecil to a stop, deeming their proximity from the lunch room a suitable one, but didn't move to release his hand. He was partly afraid that if he let go, he'd trip over something, considering it was too bright for him to discern much of any detail.

"I know it seems that destruction is a bit.. left field to what we try and accomplish but it might help. You never know."
