The calm streets of Tokyo wouldn't be so calm anymore as dozens of emergency vehicles would swarm around a particular apartment complex. Police were getting out of their cars and began to enter the apartment complex aiming their guns around. While paramedics were helping people outside with wounds and getting to the hospital. The whole apartment seemed to be on verge of collapsing because of the damages done to it by a caterpillar. How could a creature like that be dangerous? The Caterpillar Devil was one of humanity's fears and therefore it was made stronger and a threat as it killed a lot of the police officers that were in the apartment. The caterpillar Devil was causing a lot of mass panic in the area attracting certain Devil Hunters.
Aki Hayakawa arrived at the scene with a Public Safety car with Denji, a rookie he was supposed to train because of Mirabelle's orders. He did not understand what that woman saw in Imato but he did what he was told to do. After all, Mirabelle was working with Makima and was like her right-hand woman. The Caterpillar Devil was one hell of a first Devil to hunt, Aki much rather have Quinn deal with the problem than Denji fighting it and probably dying because he is a stupid brat.
Aki stepped out of the car and sighed lighting a cigarette before he had to fight. The man finished it and dropped it on the ground where he stepped on it. He gestured for Denji to follow him, and man exited the car to follow him. Aki approached the Police Segreant and showed him his badge, notifying him of his credentials. He needed clearance to enter the apartment complex and stop the Devil before it would cause more problems.
"Go right ahead in sir," Police Sergeant Ejiri said.
Aki and Denji entered the apartment complex together not knowing what they would find. But Aki would be sure teach this brat how to kill a Devil and the basics of Devil hunting since Quinn was too busy. He did not like to be a babysitter at all, but again Mirabelle made him do it because she hated him. All Aki wanted to do was hunt the Gun Devil.
"Alright, so we will be facing a Devil," Aki explained to him, "it is similar to when you faced the Zombie Devil, but this one will have a different ability that we have to be mindful of." Truth be told, Aki had no idea what the Caterpillar Devil would be capable of, but they would see. He could only hope that it would not be too hard to handle.
Denji slowly nodded as they walked across the hall to get to the dining area, he was ready to fight this Devil. The young man felt confident in his abilities and that he could defeat the Devil.
“Maybe transform?” Aki suggested to Denji as Denji opened the door to reveal a monstrous caterpillar that was eating people. The devil stopped chewing to look at them, spitting out human remains on the ground. It was a truly grotesque sight for both males.
“Remember what I taught you about-“ Aki was knocked into a wall by the caterpillar before he could finish. Shocked, Denji was going to check on his supervisor but was grabbed by the caterpillar and slammed into a wall. The male yelped in pain as he could feel his bones breaking. Denji struggled to get out of the creature’s hold but couldn’t. He had to transform or he would die.
“Anyone?!” Aki called into his walkie taki while slightly injured, “we need backup! Like now!”
