If t there’s enough of it to actually control, I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to use the power. It’s usefulness would depend on how. Much he has left though xD. I can’t imagine it’d be useful if it were any short than it’s current length though.

ooh, that's a dangerous way to end the usefulness of a power. But I bet it will be able to grow back, just not at an accelerated rate I assume, was another question.

Combat skills? He’s more of a support fighter. He’s perceptive and quick on his feet, when his illness is under control. Deception in and out of combat would have to be his strongest skill though.

My guess is, at some point through the story. (I'm adding Sayo's illness into the roleplay as a part of a plot point in the future, actually. In hindsight, Sayo's loyalties will be tested, as a cure for his illness will be within Soma's/Cerevantes' blood. The main villain will want Sayo to betray the family, drink Soma's blood and then be able to be free. An offer that he believes will push Sayo to defect from the Vale.) Sayo can be "cured" of his illness. Not entirely, but within the process of this, Sayo's illness mutates with him. And his illness soon enough becomes a power that Sayo can manifest, such as a poison or a debuffing power to heavily weaken enemies or do other things. A debuffer power, if you will.

I just thought of that on the spot for your power XD, but I was planning on having Sayo become a major plot point with his illness in the next arc. It all depends on if Sayo is willing to kill Soma, defect from the Vale and become "cured" to be free. Thus is why his loyalties be tested, though Soma truly doesn't believe Sayo to be evil in any way, as he's always perceived him as good. Honestly, Soma would just cut his finger and give Sayo the blood willingly if asked.
