sweet smelling dreams
Adelina stopped humming when the boy finally spoke again. She pulled her hands away and placed them in her lap, staring into his eyes. She looked around at the mention of her cluelessness. "The modern mortal world is all so new to me. When you live in space for millions of years, you really become detached." She paused, looking back at Nathan's now-calm form. She sighed, lifting her hand to touch his face before second guessing herself and putting it back down again. "It's alright, really. I'm just glad I didn't do anything wrong." She said, continuing, "It's nice to have someone care about you, isn't it?" She chuckled, her endless black eyes seemingly lighting up for just a second. She gently placed her hand on the bruise, summoning the remaining stardust around her and swirling it onto the surface of the injury. "The dust is cool, so it should help a bit. I'm sorry I can't do more."
