Alexis had no words for Mika, instead she stood there blushing like an idiot, 'Good combination?' She smiled, still looking at the floor, 'Gah.. damn it, get a hold of yourself, Alexis..' She patted her cheeks to snap herself out of her blushing fit, "You better not.. I get too easily embarrassed and go into blushing like I did just now. You have no idea how embarrassing it is to stand there with a red face like an idiot, dude." She looked at his bag, "Oh.. are you.. feeling better? Feel sober yet?" She asked him.

Diego raised a brow, "Be honest, have the higher-ups ever told us anything regarding the history of this place?" He asked Alister, leaning into his desk with an inquisitive look, he waved a hand dismissively again, "At least it's better then.. 'meditation' class. Have fun being tranquil with your colorful word choice." He chuckled at Alister's expense.

He just looked at Alexis who was patting her cheeks, and then he listened to her as she told him about how she gets embarrassed easily, "Well that's your problem." He grinned and then he heard her ask him a question regarding to him being sober, "Well I certainly feel better. I can't say that I'm completely sober." He shrugged his shoulders at the response he made.

He held his chin at the question that Diego gave him, "Well...can't say that I have. No. But you're done being an investigator, Diego. If you wanted tokeep solving shit then you would've stayed as one." He gave a bothered expression at Diego's remark, "hardy har. Fuck off." He rubbed his eyes, "I'm going to have to research this Damn stuff." He looked back at Diego, "you ever wonder if maybe some students are just not allowed in this academy?"

Alexis sighed and face palmed, "Alright, smart ass." She pointed at him, "I'll get you one of these days." She then nodded when he said he wasn't sober but felt better, "I'll be honest.. I don't really like drunk you." She shrugged, "Some people are good drunks others are violent drunks. You're a mix of both."

Diego snickered at his response to his tease, "You've always been one to get flustered, my man." He was taking a sip of his coffee when he asked the most peculiar question, "Hmm?" He said after swallowing his swig, "It's not like you to ask such a question... why do you ask?" He knew full well Alister was a Grim, and a hostile one at that. It was a surprise he didn't attack Nikki after first meeting her.

He smiled at Alexis, "I'm sure you'll do a good job of that, but it'll probably turn out to be another draw." Mikahil laughed. "Ahem. So. Drunk me, huh? I guess I'm too kindhearted to be a full on jerk." He smiled, but then returned to his calm face, "I just wanted to experience something new. I don't get to do much of that..." He looked down, but quickly looked back up and waved it off, "Ah but that's just me rambling. So you said you were a...shaman? What's all that about?"

He just stared down at his copy of a book that had all the students in it, but he was looking at one particular student, "...no reason. Just wondering if maybe there are some people who don't...what's the word...? Deserve or have the right to be here. I don't know. Just thinking." Alister had a very serious face, and he closed the book after his muscles tensed up a bit, "anyway...Got any advice for this damn meditation class? I want to get a head start on this bullshit.''

The swarm simply traveled around Addie as she landed onto the ground, flowing like an organic wave. The back portion of the swarm compressed tightly and grabbed Addie's clothing, only to slam her hard into the ground head first. 'We will not kill you.' Glash thought. 'But the brink of death will be your destination.' Fjord looked solemnly from the stands, already fearing the worst. "The match has just started, and it's becoming brutal quickly. Glash, buddy...." He said with a sigh.

Addie changed her focus to a spot next to Glash, popping out of their grip and on the ground next to them. She scrambled to her feet, teleporting around the swarm in order to confuse them. Her jumps weren't predictable, as she might be on one side of Glash before going to another and then their right. She felt a warm stream on her forehead. She pressed her hand to her forehead lightly and brought it away, finding a swirl of liquid galaxy on her fingertips. She smirked. It seemed like she needed to chip away at the life forms that made up Glash. Addie threw the blood from her head into the air, watching it hang there for a bit. She collected more from her head and inside the cut before swirling it around Glash. She had enough to make a stream the width of a small snake, but much longer. As the galaxy juice surrounded Glash, Adelina caught herself from falling. The hit, combined with the unexpected use of her "blood" had made her dizzy. Addie shook her head and planted her feet, beginning her course of action. All at once, the liquid surrounding Glash began to close in, forming a mold of their body shape.

Addie had managed to stay in fighting condition after taking that blow to the head; it seemed that was a bad move on Glash's part. Addie had started using one of her powers and began to use her strange blood to trap Glash inside. Not realizing this as soon as they should, Glash zoomed up through a small opening in the surrounding liquid before it could encapsulate itself. Some of the Comtarians got trapped inside; Glash just shrugged them off as a casualty of the battle. 'Either she figured out a way to beat us, or she just got lucky with a random technique. It'd be safer to assume the first one.' The swarm noted after reforming away from the galaxy juice. Glash decided to make use of their abilities as well, flattening themselves to the ground and amassing as a swirling swarm around Addie. Many Comtarians shifted together to make 2 large tendrils that were about to come down on her/

Alexis saw his expression after mentioning he doesn't much fun, "I'll have to change that." She mumbled, "Shaman? Oh, yeah my power. Well, there are beings called the Elemental Lords who control the elements like water, fire, earth and thunder," she explained, "and when someone makes contact with them, they can form a contract. When a contract forms, the Lords give a portion of their power to this person and become a 'Shaman'."

She looked Mika, "The amount of power the person gets correlates with the strength of the bond with the Lords. However, the Lords can be made into slaves and be forced to extort their full power."

Diego saw how serious Alister was, 'I wonder...' "The hell should I know? I'm an investigator and alien buff not some hippie." He shrugged, "Looks like you're winging it," he chuckled, "don't kill the students, alright?" Diego took another swig of his coffee, 'Now you've peeked my interest, Alister.' He smirked under his mug.

Nate looked at Adelina as she left the grinned. "Ah~! I'm fine Halie. " he said as his cousin healed him. "Halie it was just a bruise!" He told her as the brusie appeared on her.

" power levels?" Confused, because his innocent soul was kept in the dark. "Mari is watching the fights. " He said pointing over to the red head.

"Anyway, let's go watch the fight " he told Halie before getting up and realizing her weapon was at her side in its smaller form. "Wait you where serious about joining the academy? Why now? I thought the family wouldn't allow us to see each other after-" He wasn't going there. Nate shrugged, and walked to where he could watch the fight. C r y s t a l s

'This boy is naive. Mostly the family's fault.'
"A bruise is a wound. Therefore you don't get to bear it." She said sighing.

"Don't worry about it. " she told him quickly. 'I will deal with you later Mari.' She thought, walking with him.

"Aish Nate. Don't worry about the little things so much. All that matters is I'm here. " she told him, smiling. 'I wonder if they informed Kalos to. That Nate is using his power like this.' She thought. C r y s t a l s

He didn't hear Alexis mumble and then listened to her explain about the elemental lords, "sounds awesome. How strong is your bond with them? Or did you enslave them?" He didn't rule out the possibility that she could've enslaved these elemental lords, so he wasn't joking about that. "And did you, uh, form a contract with them?"

He leaned back on his chair with noticeable frustration, "Fuck, man...My definition of 'winging it' is using my fists. Researching this is going to be a damn headache. Have you seen any of the students that are going to be attending here? I've seen only a couple. Damn. Each generation gets stronger, am I right?" He chuckled. "It's bullshit to think that I'm going to be obsolete in a few generations."

Kalos appeared near the school office, glaring at Delos. "Really you couldn't just take me to Nate?" The reaper, his brother shrugged. "Whatever." With that, Kalos began his task. He wondered around looking for Nate the crew.

Instead, he ended up finding two teachers talking. 'Ehh. Weirdos.' He thought, turning slowly to walk out like his interruption never happened. 'If there wasn't two I could have tried to get one of their fears, but I'm not risking that quite yet.'

Idk what else to do with him.

Adelina proofed away, just out of reach of Glash's tendrils for now. She was panting at this point, having expended so much blood and teleporting a lot. She called the blood back to her, dropping it in her hand. She carefully plotted her next move, being sure to always be on the move as to avoid the giant mass that was Glash currently. She pooled the blood into a giant ball in the air, stumbling a bit before shaking her head and huffing. She made a cordianted attack, flushing Glash from one side and meeting them with her fists on the other.

Alexis raised a brow, "No, mine is a purely friendly contract. I treat them nicely they treat me nicely. It's mutual friendship." She looked at Mika, "I'm not the type enslave anyone." She sighed, "Well, I thought that much would be obvious." She smiled.

Diego's smirked faded and from the corner of his eye he saw Kalos, "Well, ask one of them for yourself." He teleported in front of Kalos and looked at him, "Going somewhere, kid?" Diego examined the kid closely, 'Kid feels different.. he isn't human, I can tell that much.' He grabbed by the arm and dragged him into his classroom, "It's not nice to spy and walk." He sat Kalos down and sat down in his chair himself, looking to Alister, "What should we do with this, kid."

He smiled at Alexis, "Well it would be surprising to know that you forced the hands of some lords." He chuckled. "My my. There are a lot of interesting people fighting here. I look forward to working with all of them...well...the people in my squad that is." He smiled watching Glash and Adelina duel.

He gave a puzzled expression at Diego, "The kid only walked in. Wasn't like he was spying on us or anything, if he knows what's good for him." Alister grew serious, "The real question is why are you here? If you're just wandering then you're going to be punished. If you're lost then one of us will take you to where the students are testing their skills to see which squad they fit in." He leaned forward with a hand on his knee, "So which is it, kid? And don't fucking lie."

"Spying isn't my job mister, that's-" he stopped himself, Kalos looked over at the two. Sighing, he placed a hand to his head annoyed. 'I don't feel like dealing with authority right now.'

Kalos frowned. 'Punishment huh? What the worse they can do I wonder? ' his curious side perked up, but he didn't voice his thoughts. His eyes flickered between the two. Kalos thought about how he couldn't seem to link his read ability to Diego when Diego touched him.

"A barrier or neogation ability?" He asked, his eyes narrowed.

"Anyway, to answer your question. I just got here. How is not of concern. So yes I'm lost, and I have a task to get to. So let's get this chat over with quickly."

Kalos said, still watching Diego closely, silently pushing his thoughts ability, as well as reading but without skin contact he knew it was pointless for using it. Sabishi

Alexis nodded, "Yeah, it's gonna be exciting." She looked at Adelina and Glash fight, "Hey, Mika, what you said earlier, that you don't experience much of anything new. What did you mean by that?" She asked keeping eye contact with the fight.

Diego stared at Kalos with a calm expression and a smirk that said, 'keep trying'. His calm expression was kinda scary, because you couldn't tell what he was thinking, he didn't say anything for the duration instead just stared at Kalos with a challenging look to try to break through his hardened mind.

He looked down. "...forget about that. Let's just enjoy the fight." He looked back up and stared at the duel that was happening before them, "I wonder how the next match will be. Maybe there'll be a crazy....um...what do you call those things? Ehmm...well it was going to be a joke but I forgot what those things were called." He smiled, "oh well..."

He tightened his hand on his knee and he gritted his teeth because Alister wanted to try and be patient with the kid, "Well then...I say you head up to the main office and let them know about your situation. Someone will be able to guide or teleport or whatever the f-...they'll be able to take you to where the other students are. Since you're late I don't think you'll be in the tournament. Not that it'll matter much." He was clenching his fist that was supporting his head.

Kalos let out a low growl. Growl. When he kept pushing and nothing happened. "I'm curious to know if your ability works when you sleep." His eyes swirled black, as he pushed harder, before he realized it was becoming obvious he was trying. They returned to normal.

'Maybe if I can convince my... I mean Nate, to help me, we might break his barrier with the two dream Manipulations. Or will they cancel each other out? I don't know...' he thought turning as Alister spoke.

It was easy to tell that he already pushed the teachers nerves . And if he didn't have morals, he would've laughed at that. "Don't worry about it. I can get there myself, I was just exploring the school. " to demonstrate his point, his eyes closed and he saw the barrier between his world and the world he was currently in.

He crossed over, disappearing from the teachers view, then reappeared standing by the door. "My task is being watched already, so I have time to ask a few questions if I'm allowed." Looking directly at Diego, a smirk on his face as he leaned against the wall.

When he crossed worlds, Delos finally had filled him in on Nate, so he wasn't to worried about that right now.

Diego was ultimately unfazed by Kalos's push, he was able to repel them easily still keeping that same look on his face, "You can try, kid. Here's the thing, I can't be touched." He said in a low tone, "To answer your question. Yes, they do." He continued to challenge Kalo's power, even after the big push made, "Thanks for the demonstration, though. It was all I needed." Kalos could try all he wanted, the fact remained Diego had the strongest mental fortification among anyone. "I don't know if I want to. You did basically just threaten a teacher." He noticed Alister's movements and he sighed turning to his desk, tapping a stack of papers on it, "Run along, kid."

Alexis refused to take that as an answer, "No, I want to know. Why haven't you enjoyed new things?" She asked him, she was now looking directly at Mika, expectantly. She refused to take no as answer.

Nate looked carefully at his cousin, his eyes swirling with doubt.

Sighing he walked over and watched the fight closely, even though Adenline was fighting strong, every time she got hurt he wanted the syphon to aide her. Though he was sure that was cheating.

Sighing, he looked at the swarm, Glash, as it seemed focused in its battle.

Mari walked over, seeing Halie and already knowing why she was here. 'And that means Kalos is here to. But he's cool at least.' She thought walking over. She sent a knowing look to Halie, knowing full well the pain to come.

That didn't bother her though. What bothered her was that she had to fight a freaking robot and she wanted to fight the syphon or Mara now that she knew they where here.

Because this was a time where she could fight full power and not worry about being stopped by Nate or an outside force.


She walked to Fjord. "You sure Glash isn't going to kill her?"

Addie had successfully dodged Glash's tendrils, much to their chagrin. She seemed to have also regained some confidence upon drawing back her strange blood from her previous attempt at surrounding the ferocious swarm. This time, she performed a nearly pincer tactic, surrounding Glash from two different positions; on one, a big glob of her blood, and the other, herself. Glash disregarded the floating liquid and compressed the swarm into a large limb, almost 3 times the size of Addie's arm and met her fist with a strike of their own. The resulting collision created a loud crack as both Addie's fist and the Comtarians making contact with it suffered strain. Hundreds of Comtarians quickly moved to the internal parts of the swarm to rest. More of Glash was unfortunately taken by the mass of blood trailing behind; the swarm hissed and move the rest of themselves away, now having lost almost a third of their starting numbers. 'Inferior lifeform!' Glash communicated to themselves; deciding a sneak attack. The swarm flattened to the ground and spread themselves thin across the battlefield, this resulted in making Glash hard to see with the naked eye.

Fjord was gritting his teeth during the fight; Glash had been overconfident and it ended poorly for them. But, to this dwarf, it would seem Glash was getting more brutal. "You sure Glash isn't going to kill her?" A female voice asked Fjord. The dwarf turned to address the speaker. "I-I'm not sure. He assured me he wouldn't kill his opponent, but that doesn't mean he won't cause serious damage to her." He replied, not really making the situation easier on the both of them.

Halie glared at Mari, her eyes swirled violet, and they both knew what it meant. A fight was to come. She turned and wrapped her arms protectively around Nash and pulled him away from the arena when Glash disappeared from her sight.

'I don't like this feeling.'

Her ability was calling to be used, but she pushed it down, not wanting to cheat the battle. She was sure Adenline wanted to handle it herself. Halie just had to wait for it to end till she could help.

Mari looked to him. "If only we could interfere huh?" She said, looking how battered the girl was. 'I wonder if that will be me against that robot thing. '

"He will end up putting her in a coma or something if this drawls out much more. She extorting to much energy at once, and with the loss of her....blood that has got to be draining her. Glash's lost of numbers don't seem to effect him to much, matter of fact it makes him more creative in his attacks it seems. " she said, her eyes analyzing the field. BlightGiver

Nate watched as his cousin pulled him away a little, he kinda pouted, but let it happen. "He going to trap her." He whispered, watching carefully. He wasn't a seer, but he can tell what looks obvious from what isn't bound to happen. C r y s t a l s

"That doesn't sound like a good thing at all." Fjord replied to Mari's statement. "Glash is usually such a friendly....uh, ambivalent creature...s.....to hang out with. I enjoy having the company so much I tend to forget how dangerous he is. That's not even including what could happen if he learned how to eat." The dwarf added.
