Far away from the group, a red hair girl was ducked behind a small wall for cover. Her hatchet in her left hand, ready to fly. The hissing sounds drew closer, a jewels as she called them, not knowing their true nature. Next thing she knew, she was in completely different room. Sweat poured down her face.

"Nathan?" She called out, excepting her blue haired friend. He smiled, handing her a cloth. "Another nightmare?" He asked, his other hand on her forehead. "Yeah. Thanks." Mari replied, sighing as she wiped her face and stood from sitting postion she fell asleep in.

Mari stood and went to the separating screen in the room they called home. She likes it as she put on some black jeans and a grey top. Nathan opened the screen, taping her shoulder "I'm heading out. You be good on your own?" Mari waved him off. "I think for now I will chill here. "

Nathan nodded, pulling his hair up, and walking out of the room. He walked for a long time, wondering around aimlessly. He bumped into a group as he walked. (Not physically he just spotted them.) feeling no pain in his throat, he felt safe to approach them.

"Drinking are we? " he said with a small smile. He eyed Mikahil, taking in the others appearance. The others where....not within his bounds. A being of some kind of insects, then a being of darkness, and a dwarf. So the only one he really noticed was Mikahil. "Name is Nathan. " he introduced himself to the group. Another gentleman came up to the drinking group, noting how they were drinking. Before he can even so much as state his name, Fjord slammed down another mug and poured rum into it. "Here ya go, chap." The dwarf said with a smile and had Glash bring the mug over to him. This new stranger identified himself as Nathan; not someone Fjord or Glash knew though. The sound of Mikahil complimenting the taste of the rum drew the dwarf's attention to the right. "Why sure you can have a second, and a third, and a fourth!" Fjord heartily laughed. "Hey, Nathan, buddy; we've been having a little friendly chat about where we all came from. Up for joining in, letting us know a little about yourself?" He asked, not aggressively, but in a somewhat intrusive manner only achieved by an inebriated individual.

Mikahil suddenly heard a voice, and it was a guy named Nathan. "Nice to meet you Nathan." Mikahil then looked at the dwarf and said that he could have as many as he wanted, he laughed. "Well then I'll drink till I feint!" The drink started to slightly effect his personality after a couple large sips, but he then turned to Nathen, "Share us your origin, Nathen! I'm excited to hear it." He gave a big smile and drank with excitement, but quickly stopped at a realization, "Oh! I almost forgot to tell my place of Origin. Nathan would you like to go first, or would you want it to be me, so you can be a little more comfortable." He gave another smile.

Cody took a step back, and leaned to the swarm.
"...how much...alcohol does he carry..?" He watched as the two began to feel the effects of the alcohol, and sighed"sometimes i feel blessed i am unable to become inebriated...Nathan. please,make yourself comfortable. Have a drink,if you like. It is...mild, for the sake of those who dont do well wih alcohol. Mika here seems to be one of them..." his eyes squinted at the person in question,and he shook his head"but please, have one on are dwarven friend here, Fjord" he geastured to the dwarf with a smile

Chapter 1: An.. announcement?​

Static erupted from the intercom system followed by tapping, "Hello?" Came forth a girlish voice, sounded young.
"Ma'am, should we--" Said a gruff older man,
"Oh hush, I am, I am. So, uhm, hi everyone. I'm.. I'm you're commander... uh..." She really didn't sound too sure of herself, "Well, I.. I hope you know where the audi-- Stage-- What was it? Oh! The Symphony Hall!"
"Ma'am.. it's... it's the main hall where it's held..." Said the older man,
"Oh? Is it? I guess the main hall!" She giggled, "Get there in the next ten minutes cause we have something special planned for you guys!" The girl couldn't have sounded more then 12 years of age, then the older man said something..
"Sorry.. yeah.. just.. main hall.. 10 minutes.." Click.

Kaito Sekoren had been here for a few minutes, moving everything into his dorm before the announcement went off. He sighed. He guessed that he had to go if he wanted to get there and be recognised as a member of the academy. He took his staff and bottle of water and left the dormitories and headed to the hall. He half hoped he'd be left alone and half hoped to make friends.

Adelina hadn't ever been to a school before. Considering her age, one would think that she might have at least seen one before. However, this was not the case, and one could tell this just by looking at Addie's curious eyes as she arrived on campus.

It was like the air around her changed from a gloomy sort of feeling and more towards one of knowledge. Curiosity. It was an entirely new experience for the girl, and she was ready to work it to it's fullest extent. Addie crossed the front grounds before hearing a voice in the air. She covered her ears, alarmed by the sudden and surrounding sound. She listened to the announcement, taking in the details and recalling the Symphony Hall from the map. She giggled, temporarily blinking out of view before appearing again a couple moments later. Each blink left swirls of purple star dust behind her.

The alien hopped off the path and onto a nearby tree branch. From there, a rock, and from there, in front of the main doors of the Hall. Many kids were already entering, so Adelina decided to contain her excitement and walk with the crowd. She sat down in an empty seat next to no one in particular, shifting her large eyes to the colors of the people that passed by her.

Nathan just gave a light smiled as everyone told him to drink, but his mind drifted to his last time drinking. He lost control of his abilities, and instead of hiding what he was, someone had died near him and his body shook with a scream. Causing the whole crowd of people look at him like he was crazy... yeah not the best impression for a first da. "I think I will sit this one out.." he said, attempting to hand the drink to the dwarf. "Not much of a rum or alcohol mood right now." He said politely. He looked as he saw Mikahil getting effects of the alcohol.

"I'm a banshee. A male 'Bean Sidhee.' .. well my origin ...I don't know how to explain that? " he said confused on what it meant. Next he heard a childish voice on the intercom. "Looks like we should get going. " Nate said. Sabishi Mistory BlightGiver

 

[Lazy Taco]

Cete had found himself lost, as he tried to get to the main hall. Why wasn't he using his nose to smell where there was a lot people? Mostly because he had been pepper spray on the nose as he had to ask for direction again and his smell was out of whack until he was away from humans and any other creature so that he could bathe himself his sand, water and than Ice which would cause whatever happened to him to go away. "Silly humans, attacking cause they too stupid." He had to blink once he found inside something called the... "Main hall, oh." So he felt stupid now and saw a few humans part way so that he could walk, or maybe they scare that he was on his Arklut form.

Mikahil kept drinking swiftly, but then he looked at Cody due to his remark, "Oi, don't go underestimating my tolerance just yet." He gave a smile and took a sip, "Not in the mood? That's fine. More for me." He took the full mug and set down the one he just emptied, and ignored the scream that Nathan gave out, "you don't know your own origin? Well the-" he was suddenly interrupted by the announcement that told him, and everyone else, to go to the main hall. He sloppily drunk the mug completely empty and stood up. Of course, he stumbled a bit with a smile on his face, "Welp, uh, I guess...we go..." His voice was slightly slurred and he started walking off to the main hall.

The young man named Nathan wasn't able to contribute much to this little banter everyone was having, something amount not be able to understand his own origin. Fjord shook it off and a whole bottle of ale; the harder stuff is what really got his fire going. An announcement over the intercom made everyone look up at the speaker on the ceiling. Unfortunately, they'd have to cut this bull session short; Fjord was slightly miffed about that. Mikahil stood up, and wobbled away, "That's the spirit, lad!" Fjord called to him and gave the stumbling youngling a thumbs up. "We'll all have to get going sadly. Cody, Nathan, it was nice meeting you both. Any time y'all up for a drink, just come find me." Fjord guffawed and began to walk. His posture and balance was near perfect, displaying the power of a dwarf's alcohol tolerance. 'Other creatures are weird.' Glash told themselves, and followed right behind Fjord.

Kaito arrived at the hall and looked around for a place to sit. He chose the back of the hall. He didn't want anyone to bother him unless absolutely necessary. Here he would be able to practice his abilities. He opened the bottle of water he'd brought with him and bended the water out, making shapes and things out of the liquid. He was rusty with his abilities. He had to hide them for so long and now he can just be free. He guessed it was a plus side to coming here.

Adelina was ready to have some fun.

She noticed a kid in the back playing with water, and she studyed him for a bit, before morphing into his shape and teleporting to the open row behind him. She jumped over the seat and landed gracefully, staring at the water moving in his hands. She hadn't heard his voice yet, so she didn't want to say anything in fear of ruining the joke. So she just nodded along, her eyes trailing the water.

Kaito turned his head to see someone who took the form of himself. He didn't laugh at this joke the shapeshifter was creating. Instead he just turned his head back to the water and bended in back inside the bottle for later. "Shapeshifting is a weird trick," he began. "I wouldn't show everyone your abilities straight away if you were me. You could easily show weaknesses instead of strengths. I'm Kai by the way."

A little girl approached Mika and inspected him then the dwarf. Sniff sniff, "Drinking have we?" She asked them, her tone was neither serious nor playful, it was hard to tell if she was being serious or playful with them, she then looked Glash and Cody, "And don't lie. I can tell the difference." The hat she was wearing was covering her animal ears and the coat she wore covered her tail.

"I hope you know, it's against the rules to drink," She said in a more serious tone.. her expression unchanged, for a little girl, she was as serious as a military instructor.

Mikahil smiled at Fjord, "Your words of encouragement are much appreciated," he tried keeping his cool, but his body language was noticeably sloppy, and to make things worse he saw a new face pop in. It was some one he wish he knew, "Well, uh...doesn't hurt to be a little loose doesn't it? Besides, no one should be so serious all the time, and I'm sure no one important will find out." He was very relaxed and happy, but it was slightly getting worse, and his charisma could get the better of him.

Chapter 1.5: "Are you ready to RUMBLLLLLLE?!!?!" ​

Nikki stared at Mika, "Important. Right." She smiled, "Alrighty! See ya!" She turned and skipped off into the main hall, If only they knew.. She walked to behind the stage and awaited an introduction. A man walked out onto the stage, he had fox ears and two tails, he was a kitsune.

He cleared his throat, "Ahem, excuse me. Settle down everyone." He said in a recognizable gruff voice, the one from the announcement. "Ladies, gentleman, other-wordly beings, the commander has gathered you here for a surprise.. for her." He gestured off stage to Nikki, "Commander Nikki wishes to speak with you personally."

She walked on the stage and saw everyone, she was looking over them and noticed Mika, the dwarf and the bug thing, "Um.. hi.. so that surprise.. well.. it's.. uh.. a tournament!" She said playfully, "The tournament will be a 14-man elimination style showdown!" She said, "Here are the rules, No killing. No dirty moves. No cheating. Other than that, it's a no holds barred 2v2 fight!" the man accompanying Nikki snapped his fingers and everyone in the room teleported to an arena. "I will explain the match-ups in a bit, for now, please chill out and be patient." She said, hopping off her pedestal and walking away with the man. Damn! She forgot again! She didn't introduce herself... next time.

Alexis heard the announcement and made her way to the hall only be teleported to an arena, 'An elimination type tournament? Hah. Sign me up.' she thought, she looked over and saw Mika with the others, 'I wonder if they're participating.. it'll be a good time to get an idea of what I'm gonna be working with... or against.' She was hyped, how could she not? She loved to fight!.

Kai just glanced over at the people who were going to be fighting. A tournament? No way. He wasn't going to hurt his scales over something that won't matter. He just rolled his eyes and said, "Pass." He hadn't much control of his abilities as it was. He'd end up killing someone or killing himself. No way. He took out his phone and put in his headphones. He had other things he'd prefer to do.

The moment the woman talk about a tournament, Cete was interested but as the rules where explained, he knew he wouldn't participate. He didn't do good with partners and he would had killed them, mostly because his kind were violents aliens that had survived for so long fighting and crawling, destroying anyone that got on the way. Violence was on his blood and not killing was against what he believed in. "Cete won't participate." He said before laying down on the ground with his limbs extended, before closing his eyes.

Mikahil waved goodbye at the girl, "have a nice day!" He said sloppily. He then left for the main hall to see what the announcement was about, and to his surprise was that the same girl was on stage. It took Mikahil a while to realize what was going on, "fuck." But to make matters worse she announced a fourteen-man elimination style tournament that. "Fuck." He, and along with the rest, were teleported to an are, "Fuck!" He was clenching his fists at this point, and he was mad that he had to deal with this. He had only himself to blame for this, but of course he was too drunk to even realize that. "This is bad."

Addie's eyes transformed back into her own, a side effect of her powers. She watched the water in the bottle swish back and forth. "Look who's talking." She said, snorting. "I'm Adelina." She greeted before shifting back into her main form. She sensed the conversation was over, so Addie turned her attention to yet another announcement. A tournament? That would be fun. A million years of training in the stars would finally pay off. She just wondered who she would be up against.

"A tournament? Glash, my friend, we have got this in the bag!" Fjord declared and performed a pre-tourney celebration by drinking another bottle of ale. "Uh, Fjord, that's the 4th bottle you've had today. Won't the alcohol in your system hinder your reflexes and judgement?" The curious swarm asked. "It's the exact opposite for us dwarves! The more we drink, the more adept we become!" Fjord boasted. Glash knew this wasn't entirely true, even dwarves have a drinking limit; they have yet to seen Fjord drink that much however. "If all these drinks will help you, whatever. But, if this alcohol really helps, maybe we should try some as well." Glash suggested. "Uh, no! Alcohol is poisonous to your kind, Glash! Every bit of you would shrivel up and perish." The dwarf quickly rebutted. Glash seemed to accept this answer and did not bring the topic up again. Fjord may not be the smartest guy around, but he knew how dangerous Glash could potentially be. The Comtarian species absorb organic material through their outer layers, if Glash learned that could also apply to things like food and people, there'd be no stopping them. 'Phew, that was close.' The slightly scared dwarf thought with a sigh.

Nate had left the group to go drag Mari out of the room. When he finally got back to the main hall, everyone had gathered already. He felt Mari change in his grip. He looked to her confused. "Is that needed?" He question her, Mari only giving a shrug.

Sighing, he watched the announcements. He felt Mari tense in his grip again. "I want to participate." Nate was shocked. "Well? Maybe we can go in together? " he was not fighting against someone who had saved him now was he? Mari shook her head. "If you want, but I don't they will let us pick partners."

Mari pulled from his iron grip. 'Geez Nate grow up.' She thought, waiting to be called for the tournament.

Nikki looked at Cete and Kai ( Lazy Taco and MoxxyMoxx ) and puffed her cheeks, having heard them say pass, "Fine, but just for that you're both in Delta squad." She was serious about this.

"Ma'am, is it a wise ide--" He was cut off, "Hush! You should know me better then this." She said, walking away and up onto the pedestal, clearing her throat. "I will now explain the match-ups... in the first bracket," she paused and looked at her captain, "Uhm.." He whispered into her ear, "Glash vs. Fjord ( BlightGiver ). In the second bracket, Alexis vs. Mikahil ( Sabishi ). In the third bracket, Nathan vs. Marissa ( q r o w ) and in the fourth bracket is Yours Truly vs. Adelina ( GardenParty , unless I hear back from Mistory , this match up will remain)." She raised her hands, with a huge smile on her face, "The tournament will begin shortly." She walked off and disappeared for a while along with her captain.

Alexis raised an eyebrow at her match up, 'Mikahil.. Mikahil.. Wait. Mika?' She smiled, 'Oh this'll be fun!' She looked stoked, 'Hmm, how should I go about this? Will the Elemental Lords really allow me to use their power for such trifles?' She sighed, "I hope they will," She said, "After all, this isn't breaking any rules... is it?" At this point she was talking to herself, unaware if anyone was listening.

"Do not worry, we will allow it. Your contract with us will not falter because of this. In fact, I am hopeful it will strengthen, but... do not lose." said a voice that only Alexis could hear. She nodded in response.

Adelina raised an eyebrow. She would be fighting against the one running all this. It didn't seem fair, but then again, she wasn't really used to fair. As long as she fought hard, all would be fine. She watched as her opponent disappeared, wondering what her abilities were. She probably already knew Addie's, since she seemed to be in charge. How... Wonderful. Addie knew her shifting powers would not come in handy for a duel, but the teleportation is a mega advantage.

This will be fun.
