Fandom Camp Half-Blood Redefined

Ryan picked up the dummy that Ace, the Ares kid with the power to turn into the figure of the Hulk, used during his training. He threw the dummy in the air once again with regular strength so that no one would see it, and used his super strength to punch it. The dummy quickly flew back and hit a tree. The tree shook and some leaves fell down, "Sweet!"

Grover started galloping around, "Hey everyone the mixer will begin in 30 minutes and the PA speakers are still not working!"

She stared, not in the least intimidated. "Listen, your a new kid. I get that. But just know, I sleep a lot. I get cranky when I'm woken up. Very cranky. So, please, in the near future, don't wake me up when I go in my shed in the afternoon. Kay?" She rubbed her eyes and began to smooth her hair with her fingers.

Grover galloped around again, "And it is at the hall! Most of the chairs and tables were removed for tonight to create some room, and in the morning new chairs and tables will be brought back into the hall! Yay!" Grover ran back to the office where some people tried to fix the PA speakers.

Ryan looked around, "Maybe I can practice my speed too". He set a timer and quickly used his super speed to run around the training ground. Ryan hit the timer, "A second? This is awesome!" He heard Grover's yelling and made the conclusion that it was time to head back to his cabin.

Jason nodded, "Got it." He heard Grover's announcements and smirked. "Gonna go back to sleep, or will you try going to the mixer again, you can roll with me and Jaycee." He looked at Jaycee, hoping she would be okay with it. He looked down at his outfit. He was wearing jeans and a blue addidas t-shirt with a sleeveless hoodie with and over-sized hood. "Meh I figure I can get by in this, so will you come??" He knew he might be pushing it Helena didn't seem like the type to take pestering kindly, but he hoped he might be pushing the wrong buttons in just the right way.

Helena looked up as Grover ran by bleating, and sighed. "The social hour begins, and as such, I disappear. Goodbye, have fun at the mixer. I won't be there." She yawned and rubbed her eyes, then waved a hand as a goodbye and walked out, and immediately to her cabin. She opened the door, and was surprised to see Alec standing in the doorway, looking like a dork. "AH, ah, ah. You're going to this. Come on!"

"Wait, what?"

"Yes, you're going, come on."

After his training, Ryan headed back to his cabin and cleaned himself up. He then changed into a fresh set of clothes since his last ones endured the capture the flag game and his training. Ryan went back outside and started walking to the hall. He looked up at the starry sky as he walked.

Jason smiled, "Alright, c'mon Jaycee let's go have some fun." He looked towards his cabinmate with a smile on his face. Hoping he could get her to go too. "Please?"

Jaycee rolled her eyes. "Whatever. J-just let me get changed," She walked into a small, empty, room to get dressed.

She put on a black t-shirt, black skinnies, Adidas BBNEO Raleigh shoes, and a gray beanie. Simple is just fine.

Jason smiled and headed out of their cabin holding the door open for her . "Glad to see that I wont be the only Poseidon kid there."

Mason was soaking wet and figured he would just stay in his workshop working on his bracers and his newfound fire abilities. 'Thanks pops for the fire powers. Didn't know I could get this. No one told me bout it. None of my brothers and sister have this ability. Thanks, it'll make them jealous.' he spoke softly looking at the forge.

Mason removed the face plate of both bracers. He replaced a broken bonding plate and retrofitted a memory drive. He placed a screen on the inside and hoped for some more stuff to add. He thought of going to the library to get that encyclopedia of this world. Being that he didn't even know of his father and the rest of the gods. Smudged with grease and his welding goggles, he left the workshop heading towards the bustle.

Ryan entered the hall and saw a bunch of demigods. He talked to some Hermes kids and avoided a few Aphrodite kids. Out of the Aphrodite kids he avoided, he was sure one of them had the same power as cupid and made Ryan temporarily have an interest in an Ares girl. This kind of explains Ace's increased hatred toward Ryan.

The commotion about the camp had little to do with Evelynn so she largely ignored it, only surmising the vague happenings. She was much too busy with her fruit to do more. After swallowing the last blackberry, Evelynn cleaned her fingers of the copious amount of juicy fruit innards that had accumulated on them while she devoured the fruit's meaty portions. She stood up from her perch and started to deliver the bowl back to its rightful place inside the hall. She stopped after hearing that was where the mixer was going to be and instead, ended up carrying the bowl with her back into the Ares cabin.

Times like this were one of the few times one could count on the Ares cabin to be empty, and so despite what she had said to Ryan, she found herself headed for her spot in the cabin. She guessed this was still 'around', technically. "Ahh, home sweet home." She said dryly as she closed the door silently behind her. It wasn't home, but it essentially had been for the past year. She missed her mother. She set the bowl on the table next to her bed and gave and "Oomph." as she flopped back onto the bed, starting upwards. It had been a few months since she'd heard anything from her. She hoped she was all right. With a bit of a sigh, she withdrew a book from under her bed opened it up, after all, it wouldn't be good to let quiet in the Ares cabin go to waste. She began to read. Chapter six: The Frozen Wastes of Empyria . . .

Jaycee stood in a corner away from everyone. Technically, she was there just not there, with everyone, talking and stuff. No, she stood in the corner, sipping on some juice.

What was his name? Ryan forgot, but he knew they all nicknamed him "Cupid". He looked around for that guy and made sure that he stayed away from him. While looking around, Ryan saw the Poseidon girl by herself and went over to her, "Hi"

Romeo "Cupid" Lovett walked around the mixer. He was determined to cause some heart break ups and make ups at that moment. Romeo was much different from the rest of the house of Aphrodite. He constantly pulled pranks and used his power off the battlefield since he kind of fought like a normal person whenever there was some kind of fight.

Jason was surprised at the amount of people there and didn't know what to do. He grabbed a cup of juice and listened to the music looking at the crowd and trying to commit their faces to his memory. He doubted they would notice or care about a new kid so he felt like he was safe. If they did notice him he'd simply say hello.

"Hi," Jaycee awkwardly waved at him. Ryan Anderson. Pretty cool guy if you ask her. Though, he never talked to her. She noticed Jason in the crowd and pretended to be deeply interested in the conversation.

Mason was looking for the library... he was sure it was somewhere. He stumbled upon a hall and he walked through the door. There were sooooooo many people and he stopped in the middle of the room. "Where's the damn library. I can't navigate through this place to save my life. Anyone know? " He waved his arms around to get people's attentions, his hands starting to glow a deep red.

"We don't talk much. He seems really cool. I-I just don't know how to react. Honestly, it's kind of surprising." Jaycee told him.

Ryan looked around for the new guy, "Hm. Okay then well..." He stopped speaking as his eyes caught Mason waving his arms with his hands glowing red, "Um...hey you know just in case of a fire..can you put it out? Like a big fire?" Ryan was to distracted by Mason's glowing hands to fix his grammar and set his mind straight.

"Cause Mason just might set this place on fire with his glowing red hands flailing in the air" Ryan responded and kept his gaze at the red glow.

Mason scowled when no-one answered him immediately so he just stomped off towards the food. His eyes scoured the area and he was disappointed he couldn't find any waffles. He grabbed a handful of cookies and mumbled as he walked away, "Butt munchers..." He noticed his cookies were cooking in his hands and he tried calming himself down. The glow went away and he laughed a bit before staring down his brothers and sister, sticking his tongue out at them.

Jason saw the red hot hands waving around and decided to check it out, hopefully it wasn't the guy that was freakingnout over his burning hands. As Jason reached the kid he sighed, it was indeed the flaming boy. "Hey, you need help?" He wanted to do something, he came to meet people yet he couldn't help but observe and try to get used to the place, and people. This was his first attempt to talk to someone which he figured he should do given the situation.
