Fandom Camp Half-Blood Redefined

Ryan raised an eyebrow, "Hm?" Pepper's brother knew who Ryan was? Where had he heard the name Zachary before? The demigod met a few Zachary's but had the clearest memory of meeting one at a martial arts academy. "Let it snow! Let it snow! LET IT SNOW!" Cupid waved his hands in the air feeling the coldness after feeling the freezing wind blow when a door closed.

Pepper looks at Zach. "You sure you got the right guy Zach?" She asked slowly. Zachary nodded, "yeah, I believe so, except Ryan didn't have those scars when we were kids in martial arts together." He said while putting his hands in his pockets.

Ryan furrowed his brows as he made the connection. His facial expression relaxed, "You DID say you were moving. Never really told me where. What a nice buddy you are Zach". He smiled a little remembering his friend. Cupid sat down on a chair and looked out a window, "I hope this is the last HQ...". Ace already had a burrito in his mouth, "MMmmmm! I hope we eat more food like this". Cupid hit Ace's head, "Shut up!"

Zachary grins slightly and chuckles. "Uh well I didn't know where I was going at the time, but I ended up here. And aren't I the greatest friend?" he said while patting Ryan on the back. Pepper laughs softly in amusement as she watches them, smiling a bit at them. "So I'm guessing you were the friend Zach kept talking about before they dropped me off." she said while trying to hide her smile. Zachary grumbles in annoyance. "Yes my dear sister... very funny."

Ryan responded, "Talking about? You were talking about me? Interesting...". "Ew chicken" Cupid said looking into Ace's burrito. "Just like you ya flying, annoying human bird" Ace replied taking another bite out of his food. "Zach where do you recommend the rest of us stay while Pepsi is with you?" Ryan asked.

"I meant your father's wealth, not demeter being the reason you have mai- ah forget it." He noticed she was waiting on him and quickly ordered a big mac, some fries, and a large Dr. Pepper, he paused and got a second big mac just in case. He looked back to Fern, "I burn calories like a mother******."

Fern snorted slightly and shook her head. "I'm not judging you, I got relatively the same thing... Mostly cuz I'm starving and haven't eaten all day..." She said as she payed for them with ease.

Zachary smiles. "You guys will be staying with my friend Fern. Don't worry, she's cool with it. Also I think it would be safer if she stayed with you guys." He said and rubbed the back of his head. Pepper raises a brow and blinks. "Why's that?" She asked in confusion. Zachary looks at her. "You'll be safer at Fern's."

"Where's our ride i'd rather be alone than unappreciated." He said looking at Pepper's brother. He then gave a sigh and put a hat on from in his bag. "I hate being me. Bored, lonely, and ignored until i'm useful." He started walking towards the exit to the terminal and then looked back as he walked. "They're too good for me. Everybody's too good for me ." He whispered to himself

"Vague Zach..nothing new" Ryan smiled a little. He paused then added, "Is she a special person? Wait, Zach are you..um Greek?" Ryan attempted to not give away the group's identity at the airport. Cupid put his head against the window watching some people walk around and slide on a coffee spill. "Haha!" Ace laughed watching someone flip over.

Jason took his bag and looked at Fern, "Thanks, I mean you didn't have to pay and I will pay you back however I can, but still, I appreciate it." He wavd his hand in front of himself in a "go ahead" gesture. Jason sifted through his bag snagging fries and eating them.

Zachary chuckles a bit. "No, i just... I can see... Everything. And she is special." Pepper listening while rubbing her hands together.

Fern shrugged. "Its fine, don't worry about it as she walks ahead of him, opening her bag to grab a fry or too, to start eating.

The two girls sat at their own little table at McDonald's, wary of the others. They just wanted to sit back and observe, for now. "Was this ranch huge?" Courtney asked Vanessa. "Not exactly. Well, I never paid attention to how big it was. I was always busy. Seeing that I spent a lot of time with horses, you'd think I was old Barnacle Lung's daughter, assuming you didn't see my true form." Courtney snorted with laughter at her friend's joke. "Nah, you don't look anything like him. I've seen his kids. You don't look like them.""I know. That's the joke." Vanessa chewed on the straw of her Sprite.

Viola got distracted by the cruddy weather and fell behind everyone else, arriving at the fast food chain a little after everyone else. She kicked the door open, brushing snow from her hair and frowning. She hated snow.

"Thanks for waiting, guys." she said, rolling her eyes. She was about to add:

"Don't worry about me. I could've caught freaking pneumonia out there! I could've DIED!" And you just left me!" But she realised how incredibly whiny that sounded so she decided not to say it. Silently, she went and sat on her own at the table in the corner. She was not sitting with these dumb demigods. She hated them! So much! All of them!

Max let go of the part after Alec screwed the part in. "Not everybody needs to be ultimately helpful." Max said as he wiped his hands on a rag. "Cause sometimes you might help the wrong person." Max looked at the oil puddle on the ground. "Crap! We'll now I need a bunch of oil... There's probably a place I can get it in town... Hey Alec can you do me a favor?" He pulled a clean rag out of his tool box. "Can you iris call me when you figure out where everyone is staying? I'm gonna run into town and get some oil." He tossed Alec the clean rag "Also clean your face up." And Max kicked up and flew into the air.

Sam walked into a cafe somewhere in the middle of The town. She sat down and flipped out her phone. "H should be here in a few minutes... It shouldn't take him very long." She smiled "after all I told him to be here on time." She laughed to herself as the snow continued to fall outside.

"What?" He caught the rag and looked at Max questioningly, then pulled his dagger out and looked at his face. "... I smeared grease on my face. Well done, Alec. Well done." With that, he swiftly began to wipe his face off, but halfway through, his eyes locked onto the reflective surface, staring blankly, and after a few minutes, he snapped out of it and began to teeter on his feet, but began to run off, his smudgey face forgotten.

"Hvað ert þú að gera hér? Ég ætla að taka þig í." (What are you doing here? I'm going to take you.) A guard said looking at Anthony with a hand on his baton. Anthony looked at him and gave a sigh as he turned around. The guard grabbed one of Anthony's hands but Anthony had other ideas. As soon as the guard started to move his hand Anthony kicked him in the guy with a quick leg thrust backwards. The guard stumbled back winded and confused as to what had happened. "Hjálp hætta! Hann er að reyna að ræna mig!" (Help danger! He's trying to kidnap me!) Nobody who responded by jumping on the guard noticed they had the wrong guy until it was too late. Anthony was sitting outside next to a homeless man who didn't speak english. "I try to be nice and loving and kind. I've helped Aphrodite many times and what do I get? The shaft, every time. I'm the last resort for her i'll end up living to a sour old age. Alone and then poof i'll die."

Location: Under the Greenland Ice Sheet

Companion: Ignis (Fire Elemental)

Condition: Injured, Fatigued, Losing Conciousness, Very Hungry

The darkness was wavering to the illumination radiating from the child-like fiery embodiment. She hovered by the water's edge where the surface was slowly bubbling over and her form was constantly moving in waves of flame and lava. Ignis cheerfully danced by the edge of the large lake under the Greenland Ice Sheet, leaving Mantle's Ruins behind them. She had followed the direction that Mantle had given them and gave the child some encouraging words to keep him going. 'You know, I can hover and you can't. I wonder how your feet are doing.', 'I wonder what it would be like to be in your shoes...' , ' I'm glad I had breakfast before you made me.' She teased him but he didn't seem to mind. Of course, he muttered and Ignis couldn't exactly hear every word he mumbled out of his mouth as he cursed when treading on a spiked stone or a slippery surface.

Mason hated being damn near naked. He cursed himself for not bringing a pair of boots. But who would have thought he would need them, especially when they should have been with his belongings. 'Maybe someone stole them... But then why leave the goggles and bracers..?' Mason stepped on a small spiked formation of stone and yelled out. "Yeeow! That's the fiftieth time! " Mason shook his head and regretted it when it shook him back with pain. His arm didn't feel any better but the bleeding had stopped a while ago, back when Mantle found him. Mason sighed and stopped for a moment to rub the sole of his foot. As he bent over, his stomach rumbled and he groaned lightly. It had been a while since he ate. When he escaped, it was close to when they would be served their meals. If only he had waited.

"Are you tired, child? I would hope not, since you still have a way to go if you want to be with the other children." Ignis said. The low hiss was no longer unnerving in the time he learned more about her. Mason learned she was old but young in terms of her own... kind. She was a living entity of molten rock and took the physiological state of flame or lava/magma whenever it suited her. Ignis considered herself to be a woman in a sense but their kind have no designation in gender. They chose what fits them, male or female. Mason didn't get it but he was happy to know more about his new companion. She also enjoyed changing her form every now and then to explore or just be... wierd. She enjoyed her child-like form but she also enjoyed taking the form of a tiger and her presence in that form was quite euphoric.

Ignis closed in on Mason and looked him over as she revolved around him. Ignis sighed, or what constituted as one, and looked outward. She could see in the darkness, though in black and white. Ignis could see the walls of the cavern and she couldn't see that hole the large Cyclops had said would be there. She hoped it wasn't a hole going underwater. Ignis couldn't cross large bodies of water, unless having a way to step over or jump over it. And if it was underwater, she would only have the crystal to hide in until Mason found a place away from water for her to be free. She despised being kept inside unless she wanted it. Ignis was the embodiment of flame, of course she wouldn't like feeling smothered and contained. Ignis' form touched the ground, small amounts of moisture sizzling and becoming steam.

Mason turned to her and sighed. "I'm really tired, Ignis. We have to get out of here. I need to find the rest of them. I'm just so hungry..." Mason slouched and kept walking over the hard surface of the cavern floor. Ignis swirled and paws of heated rock padded on the ground. A swirl of red orange lava extended behind her as her tail took shape. A lithe form with a tigers head formed and she yawned, opening her mouth and exposed the hardened magma teeth she possessed. Her eyes ringed with gold and the centers a vibrant red-orange like the rest of her body. She followed behind Mason. "Child, I'll look ahead and see where the hole is. Just sense for me, I won't be hard to miss." Ignis said, then she took off with those legs bounding forward, leaping on rocks and stalagmites, showing her agility and grace. Mason chuckled and focused on not passing out before making it out of here.

Ignis was gone for a few minutes, avoiding the water that stretched onto the cavern floor and searching for that hole. Well it wasn't a hole, but more like a crevice dividing the mass of two glaciers atop of stone. She grew nervous since she couldn't be in that tight of a space with Mason. She would emit too much heat and cause the glaciers to melt and break off portions of ice, possibly killing Mason. Ignis growled and hurried back to Mason to show him the way.

His feet growing numb from the pain, Mason started using his hands to feel around for the floor and held onto the stalagmites as he walked. Mason closed his eyes and felt out for Ignis, seeing her heat signature racing towards him, he opened his eyes and smiled. "You find it?" Mason continued forward. Ignis met him and sat beside him, extending her body along the cavern floor, tail whisking in the air. "Yes, though I can't go through there like this. I'll need to be in the crystal as you pass through or I'll melt the glaciers that are surrounding the crevice. That being said, child. It'll be a far walk so just follow the walls until you see light. I'll be guiding you whenever I can." Ignis' form began to swirl into a flame and streamed into the crystal Mason held onto in a strap of his bracers. Mason sighed and sagged his head. 'Alone again. Yay.' 'I can hear you, idiot... Now stop complaining and get out of here before you die of starvation.' Ignis responded to him in his mind. Mason looked at his crystal wide eyed and smiled. They were connected. He grinned and held onto that joy to push him out of the cavern.

Mason reached the crevice after a few minutes and looked in with the small glow of his bracers as a light source to replace his fire. He took in a deep breath and wished for luck. 'Just go in there...' Ignis said to him with an irritated tone from inside the crystal. Mason hurried inside and almost slipped on the icy floor. He walked carefully and hoped that the exit wouldn't be so far away.

After an hour of slipping and falling on his face, stomach rumbling in ferocity, and the constant badgering of Ignis, Mason had begun hearing the sound of waves breaking on stones. He ventured forward and the way was blocked by rocks and a few streams of light broke through the cracks. Mason tried to push the rocks over but in his condition, he didn't have the strength. He was hungry, tired, and hurting all over. He thought that he might be dying in this hole. The crashes of the waves were lulling him to sleep. He sat on a rock and leaned onto the rock wall. His eyes were heavy and the exhaustion was catching up to him. Ignis left the crystal and the child-like form stood in front of him. She sneered at him giving up. She hovered over to the rocks and the touch of her hands began to melt the rocks away in a curve. The space gave way and sounds of the ocean echoed in the small pocket over the sea. "There, you idiot. Now let's get you out of here." She hissed as she turned. Seeing Mason's body laying against the rocks unmoving.

Max touched down in an alleyway in the middle of the town. He pulled the hood of his mucked up jacket over his head and started towards the auto shop to pick up the oil that he would need to finish his planes maintenance. As he turned the corner he looked through the windows of the stores at what was inside. "Furniture, Salon, Caf-" he thought before something in his mind stopped it. He stood there in front of the cafe staring inside at a girl sitting down with a bright pink parka draped over her seat. He watched her closely unable to take his eyes off her as she mouthed something that his brain understood, but he didn't. His body began to move again as he walked passed two more shops before stepping into the auto shop and pulling his hood off. He placed a note on the counter in front of the person standing there. The man scratched his head and looked at Max. "You got a pilots license?" Max reached into his pocket and showed the man his license. "Well it looks like everything is in order... Where would you like this delivered?" Max wrote down the name of the airport and the location of the plane on the note he placed down earlier without uttering a word. "Okay then. Well have it there shor-" the shopkeeper said looking up to speak to Max. The boy was gone and on the table sat the money to pay for the oil. The Man shrugged the oddness of it all off and went to get the oil ready to be delivered.

As Max rounded the corner still in a slight daze he saw a limo parked in front of the cafe that he had passed on his way to the auto shop. The door opened up and the girl he saw inside the cafe got out and gestured for Max to get in. He complied without giving it a second thought. He sat down in the seat and was immediately locked into the seat. His hands were handcuffed to the armrests and his hands were covered by metal plating; His legs were secured in the same fashion. Metal bars pressed Max's chest onto the seat as he was restrained. The girl got into the car as Max sat in the seat, not knowing what was happening around him. The door was pulled shut and the girl snapped her fingers. Max's eyes flared with motion as he found himself in a different place than he had been before. He struggled, trying to free himself from the metal prison he had been ensnared in. The girl sat across from him and giggled as she watched the boy squirm In his seat. "What the hell are you doing!?" Sam looked Max in his eyes "Taking you to Hq for some... Alterations." She laughed and the limo driver took off disappearing into the snow, taking Max with it.

"You say what now."

"I know where Mason is!"

"Yeah, and you tell me he's underneath a POLAR ICE CAP!" Helena shouted, getting pissed off with Alec for this horrible joke. "If Mason is underneath the Greenland ice cap-"

"He's not anymore, he crawled out, somehow. Don't ask me I just- I JUST KNOW!" Alec said, flailing his arms at her, and his look of dead serious only sold her that he meant what he was saying. Which meant Mason was alive. Which meant she obvious had to go RESCUE HIM! And not make herself pass out. Yeah... All that was left of the girl was a cloud of dust heading towards the nearest pool of shadows in sight, and disappearing. And as soon as Helena was gone, Alec was off and running again, fearing for one who he cherished most- "MAX! Maaaaaax where'd you gooooo!"

Damian looked at Pepper and shook his head. "I love family reunions and all but that was kinda mean. Anthony gave you his jacket but you still ignored him." Damian said before walking to go head to mcdonalds and chill out have a drink and a lot of food. Damian made a large order and had the waitress looking at him funny. Damian slid a card through the machine and the infinity sign appeared on the cash register. Damian took his receipt and sat down.

"W-w-what w-w-w-was I th-thinking?" Helena asked herself as she trudged through knee deep snow, her arms tucked into her shirt with her hands in her armpits. She had her leather jacket, but that do much against cold... "Ahhhhhh why didn't I a-at least t-t-try to find a c-coat? I'm such a d-du-dumbass...s-sometimes..." She muttered, scooting along through the snow, her teeth chattering, "W-well, at l-least it's not s-s-snowing-" and that moment, fluffy snowflakes began to fall from the sky, settling on her black hair like stars in a night sky. "... D-d-da-DAMNIT BOREAS!" She shouted up at the sky, then continued to shuffle along. When she finally came across a hole in the ice, she looked into it, and saw a limp figure laying on some rocks... "M-M-M-Mason? Is that you? ... I brought waffles!" She shouted down the hope, then shadow traveled down, and walking over to this figure... It WAS Mason! A half naked, unconscious Mason, but it was still clearly Mason! Then another thought crossed her mind-"Wait- sh*t! Is he dead?! Oh god, no!" before rushing to him, and shaking him fiercely, shouting his name, and then she realized how warm it was in this hole. "Probably... Probably Mason's fire user powers or something... He's warm at least... That's a good sign that he's alive... Don't worry, Mason. I'll get you to a nice bed, and some clothes, and I'll make you a biiiig plate of waffles, and everything will be okay!" She said, smiling so big her face practically split in two. Then after wiping a few stray tears from her cheek, she stood and tried to haul him up onto her shoulder like she'd done a long time ago.

Jason just smiled as he walked alongside Fern, he noticed how level-headed she was compared to the demigods he was with including himself. He relaxed, then felt a surge of nostalgia as he remembered how life was when he thought he was normal, no monsters, no scientists, just him hanging out with friends at the mall, or even on their rooftop hangout. The nostalgia turned to pain as his thoughts progressed to how his loved ones were doing, his mother, his sister.....Allie. Her smile flashed in his mind and he instantly remembered her "funeral" her family thinking her dead had a service which he had attended, where they setup the memorial the last thing he could bear was the memory of his candle lazily burning in front of his favorite picture of them together. He stopped himself his mind quickly becoming a place too dark for him to wander he blinked into reality, suddenly having a much smaller appetite.

Shūhei being overlooked by the others decided to go find his brother instead, he did after all promise a good sparring match along with Karryn, he looked and scanned all around either of them but not spotting them guessed they stayed on the plane and having no intention of going back out into the forming flurry he waited at the entrance to the terminal and leaned against a pillar arms crossed and a childish smirk on his face.

(Holo they were inside... Why would Pepper need Anthony's jacket.)

Fern walking with him, carrying her bag of food as she continued to eat her fries, a small Venus Fly Trap slowly unravels under the hood of her coat and reaches around to take a fry from Fern who snorts slightly. "That isn't good for you babe..." she said as the baby Venus Fly Trap started to eat it. "You alright there Jason?" she asked while glancing at him slightly, noticing that far away look since Zach got it often, heck she even got it sometimes when she remembered how she lost her brother.

Jason jolted at the saying of his name and looked towards the sources, the glazed eye look going away as he did. "Huh, oh yeah I'm just peachy."

Fern gave him a look. "Don't lie... I may not have known you that long but I know that glazed look anywhere... You just had a moment of remembrance of what you had before all this crazy stuff happened... everyone gets them... And it may be tough or hard or stupidly insane... but ... we can't go back... no matter how much we wish we could... Wish that something was different... But we can't change the past we can only look back on it and learn from it... I'm not trying to sound mean, I'm just trying to be realistic here." she said while feeding the baby Flytrap some fries.
