Camp Half-Blood; A New Generation!

Serenity wasn't sure where Mr. Masin was at the momwnt, she began to panic. Knowingly that Jacob could have bled to death in the time that she was wasting. Serenity was about to take off, but paused as she heard a voice calle from behind her. Serenity turned and faced them, Joss and justice. Siblings. Serenity shivere, as she decided to tell them what had happened. "The Leviathan, A Sea Creature attacked One of the demigods. It had gotten into the lake... without me knowing it." Serenity lowered her voice, on the last part. She couldn't help but feel guilty.

"I'm Looking for Mr. Masin have you seen..." Her voice trailed as she heard a horn in the distance. Instantly she knew where he was. " You can follow if you wish, but I have to help." She proclaimed taking off in the direction the sound had came from. Serenity had pretty much dried off by the time she had reached him. "MR. MASIN!" She yelled, as she approached him. Serenity ignored the other Camper'z look's as she ran up to him. Apparently a dripping wet Half-blood, running up to a Centaur was too Wierd. "We Had an Accident or More of an Emergency!" She proclaimed.

Mr. Masin came out of no where with his trusty first aid kit and begun to work quickly at healing and helping and bandaging Jacob. The centaur's brows burrowed as he worked. Not long after, he was done.

Joss and Justice looked at each other before running close behind her."A Leviathan huh.....I told you bro this place can't trust no more than the other ones."Justice muttered and Joss shushed him, indicating this could all wait, and they continued till they reached the beach.

Serenity Folloed Mr. Masin to the beach, with the Sibling's behind her. She remained quiet as he worked, but kept glancing out at the water, irritated. How could she have been so arrogant and not notice the thing approaching the group. But what upsetted her the mos, was the way the fish had looked at her. They didn't warn her or nothing, just swam off all kindly. Maybe when this all blew over, she would have a talk with those fish.

As Mr. Masin finished, She smiled down at Jacob. Serenity Kneeled by his side and placed her hand on his back, just to make sure he didn't fall or anything. "We should get you to the infurmery." She said, smiling warmly. Serenity turned to the sibling's who stood not far off. "Will one of you give me a hand...?" She asked, sincerely. Serenity brought her attention to Rowan, Toby, and Nium. "You Guy's okay?" Politely she asked this, before turning her gazs to Jacob.

Jacob looked up at Serenity. She said they should take him to the infirmary, but Jacob opposed. He had just told them that he would deteriorate if he didn't move! There must be something he could do.

"You don't understand! I have to run at my lightning speed. As a Son of Hermes, running at our super-speed keeps our body from collapsing." Jacob said as he tried to stand up. When he was successful, he tried to run but fell over immediately.

"Yeah I'm ok." Toby said smiling his arm around Rowen. "you?" He asked looking at Rowen. "I'm fine." Rowen said happily her panic attack had subsided without actually happening. she looked down and her shirt was ripped to shreds from wrapping strips around jacob's wounds. "Do you guys need help getting him to the big house?" Rowen asked.

Justice and Joss walked over and picking up lightly walked to the infirmary. They set him down on a bed and and walked out."Lets go out and inspect the lake that thing has to still be around there."Joss said and both boys began to walk toward the lake.

Serenity gave Jacob a hard look, "Jacob we'll figure it out later, but for now... We have to do our best. I Promise We'll get you back up." She said lightly, exchanging a quick glance at The sibling's. "Jacob I-I Think I Do Understand, just work with me." She mumbled, as Rowan proposed to help. "Um I Think were good." She said, as soon as Justice and Joss began to walk towards Jacob. Serenity helped him to his feet, she mumbled behind him, something nobody could understand. She looked over at Mr. Masin, and smiled sweetly "Thanks." She uttered.

Serenity followed the sibling's, motioning for Rowan and Toby to follow. As they approached the infirmiry she glanced back at the lake, cautiously. Serenity stood outside of the cabin, just in time to see Justice and Joss walk out, talking about the lake. "How are you going to find it? It's most likly hidding too deep for you to explore, that or it's.... Gone." Serenity crossed her arm's as she stared off at the ground. This still gave her the feeling that it was all her fault. A Child of the Sea couldn't sense a monster. Embarressing.

Jacob lay in his infirmary bed, resting from what had happened. He was grateful for all that the other campers helped him, but they were risking their lives trying to find that horrid creature. What was a Leviathan anyway? The Son of Hermes only got a glance when he was underwater: its cold but burning yellow orange eyes, sharp scales, and serpent-like body. That was creepy enough, and Jacob didn't want to go into details about the creature.

All of a sudden, Jacob saw his father. He was pretty sure that he was the only one who could see Hermes, so Jacob relaxed a little. His father's bright glowing eyes and winged-cap were gleaming.

"Son, didn't I tell you to stay away from water?" Hermes asked seriously.

"Yes, father, but I thought being with a child of Poseidon would keep me safe. How did she not detect the Leviathan?" Jacob replied.

"There are some creatures, evil creatures, that not even the children of the sea god can sense."

"I don't understand, but father, why do I have to deteriorate? Why can't I be normal and not have to run faster then the speed of sound to keep myself from dying?"

Hermes looked sad. He probably felt sympathy for Jacob. "Son, that is the price for being a child of me. Now I have to run, so be good." Then the God of Transportation disappeared in a flash of light.

"We'll find it me and my brother have many connections that will help, plus Justice is the best swimmer I know,we'll find that thing..trust us."Joss said and they continued out to the lake.

Unaware of what was going on at the lake, Sky decided to take a walk down by the lake. It was just through the forest, where the plants and the flowers were constantly around her. It felt nice and comforting, as she was a daughter of Demeter. She summoned flower twirl around her finger and she sat it on the ground. Once she looked back up, she saw the lake stretching out farther than her eyes could see.

Suddenly, a giant-snake like monster appeared from the water and hissed down at her. My hands became to shake, and Sky could feel fir leaves sprout at her feet, a sad natural defense that she had that was supposed to protect her.

The plants were to far to protect her now, and all she could do was let out a loud scream.

Serenity crossed her arm's, furrowing her brow as one of the sibling's talked. Was that supposed to be an insult? She wondered bitterly. "Well Good luck." She mumbled, as the two descended on. Serenity turned and knocked on the infirmiry door. "It's me." She called out, as she stepped through the door. Serenity smiled as she appeared in the door way, only to be stumped as Jacob seemed to be talking to no one. But before she could say anything, she leaned up against the door frame and just listened. Finally the talking faded away. "I Hope your not delusional. Talking to the air and all." She called out, grinning vaugely.

But that's when she heard the scream, Serenity turned and sensed a disruption near the lake. The Creature was back, this time she could sense it. Attacking somebody, she needed to help. Serenity grabbed her sword from her tool belt and glanced back at Jacob apoligetically. "I'll be back, promise!" On the last word she dove out the door and sprinted to the lake. By the time she made it she gasped. The thing emerged in full body. Serenity growled. "Get Out Of MY Lake!" She screamed, as she dropped her sword.

Serenity lifted her hand's, as she closed her eye's consintrating. The water rose as she breathed in. Serenity did a quick movement that sent a hurddle of water at the Serpent. "Hey Big and Ugly, over here!" She yelled once more, throwing more water at the beast, trying to gain it's attention from the girl.

Sky opened her eyes and looked over at the girl, her hands stretched out pointing towards the water. Ah, she thought, This must be Serenity. Sky began to run closer to the forest, until she could feel her strength becoming stronger. She let out a scream and felt vines shoot out of her hands towards the Serpent.

"Come and get some!" Sky yelled as the vines wrapped around the monsters long neck. He stretched his neck and pulled on the vines, making her inch closer and closer towards him. "I don't think so!" She roared and made the vines thicken. Her energy was slowly diminishing, but she still fought on. Gushes of water rose from the lake occasionally, which would distract the Leviathan. She continued to lengthen the vines until she could feel the vines dying slowly.

Jacob watched as Serenity run out of the building, reacting to the scream. He continued to think about what happened, and how he almost died. It was strange, Camp Half-Blood was supposed to be a safe place, but somehow a Leviathan had gotten into the lake.

"Johansen? Get me out of this bed. I need to run around a bit." Jacob said to the nurse.

The Son of Hermes rushed outside at three times the speed of sound and stopped at the beach. He launched into a flying kick towards the creature without saying a word to the others but somehow, the Leviathan dodged him by a few millimeters. Normally, Jacob was so fast nothing could dodge him. When he landed in the water, there was a roar in front of him an the Leviathan began to swim towards the water-treading Jacob.

"Serenity! I don't know how I healed that fast but I'm in trouble again. I know, this was a stupid decision but I'll make it up to yo-" before Jacob could finish, he was pulled underwater once again.

Sky saw the boy land into the water and she forgot about the vines twisting around her palms. "Serenity!" She yelled out, as that's what the boy had called her. "Get ... uh... that guy! I'll hold this thing off," She yelled as she began to pull back closer to the forest. If she could only get a little bit closer, her powers would strengthen again...

Slowly she finally reached the base of a tree and she yanked back her arm and placed a hand on the bark. More and more vines shot from her hands until the Leviathan was almost wrapped in vines.

Serenity's expression was hard as she focused. For all she knew, the world was swirling around her. Water shot in the air in the shape of a trident, she flung it at it's neck. Unfortinutly, it just snapped some vine's. She silently muttered womething under her breath. She was trying her best to contain her energy, but she could feel it slipping away. Serenity could feel her muscle's tensing, she was on the verge of shutting down. On last effort, She circled water into theair, a big ball. But before she could throw it somebody called out her name.

The water dropped from the air and splashed into the lake. Sending angry wave's lapping at the beach. Serenity set her gaze around, Had she zoned out again? That's when she saw Jacob. First word that came to mind was Insane. But he began to apologise. "Are you crazy? Your gonna risk further injury Ja-" She stopped as the thing had wrapped it's tail around his ankles and submerged Jacob under. "No!" She yelled out. Serenity ran to the bank and froze, she couldn't leave that girl to fight alone, yet she couldn't let Jacob drown either. Withput thinking, she turned to the girl.

Serenity nodded, as she understood. "I'll be right back!" She shouted, as she dove into the water. Serenity swam to Jacob's side and grabbed his arm, giving him a look as though she was saying, You Okay?

As the girl (Sky assumed was Serenity) leaped into the ocean, she could feel her will weakening again. No, not now, she thought to herself. The Leviathan kept thrashing his head back and forth, occasionally snapping a few of my vines. She still had one hand placed on the tree, but even from the energy of that plant, she was still draining energy quickly.

Slowly, the vines began to become smaller and thinner. Her hand left the tree as she collapsed on the ground and blotches of black surrounded her vision.

"Must... stop... Leviathan..."

"I'm okay now but the Leviathan-" Jacob started, but the serpent's head leaped out of the water and stared down the the Son of Hermes and Daughter of Poseidon.

"You have a plan, Serenity?" he asked.

(Lazy post, I'm sorry)

Serenity smiled slightly, "Absolutly... Not." She replied, slowly going backwards. But before she could say another word she hda an idea. "I'm Not a Child of Athena, but run." She procliamed. Serenity turned her head to see the girl from earlier collapse. "Help her," She motioned over to Sky. She had looked exhausted, to much usage was dangerous for them. "Get her into the clear and I'll distract the Leviathan..." She mumbled, staring up at the thing angrily. It harmed her friend's, it got into her lake and now it was threatening the camp. No way she would hesistate. "Ready?"

"Yeah. Let's do it." Jacob said defiantly. He rushed over to the girl at his lightning speed and picked her up. She was surprisingly light, but that didn't matter. The Son of Hermes brought her away from the lake and turned back towards Serenity, who was looking the Leviathan.

"She's okay. Do your thing now!" Jacob called to the COP. Then he looked at Sky, who was reddened on the face and sweating.

Serenity stood tall as she Heard Jacob give him the sign to 'Do her Thing.' Serenity bowed her head, "Father Please, help me." She mumbled, her first Prayer to him. She hadn't ever asked him before that very moment, she hoped he was listening. Serenity raised her hand's, water stirred at her feet. The Serpent hissed as though it was realizing what she was doing. Water rose around her, spinning over her head. The water churned into a giant circle. Spike's engaged on the sides. She concintrated.

Within second's, the leviathan hissed, louder this time. Serwnity glanced aup at his big yellow eye's and shivered. "Please..." She muttered, pulling all her power into the water. all her energy burning as she did. Before Serenity could react, the Serpent struck down at her. Serenity pushed the force forward, feeling a geat release, she collapsed onto her knee's. Overhead a burst on an explosion rocketed, she was guessing that the Serpent just got a face full of water.

Serenity held her head, the world around her spun. She was too exhausted to even raise her head and peak at the monster. Water splashed over the lake, The Creature shifting, preparing to srike agin no doubt. As everything began to blacken, she smiled lightly before toppling over.

Victorique stepped out of her cabin and stretched, which was hindered by her heavy armour. The redhead shook a hand obliviously through her long locks of scarlet hair and walked up the hill, watching as campers bustled around. She walked straight by the archery range, catching an arrow mid-air as the dangerous tip was seconds from embedding into her skull. She slowly spun on her heels and handed the arrow back, allowing the son of Athena to grab the shaft, thank her and move to another target. The daughter of Nike rolled her shoulders and clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth before moving on.

Arkantos sat in the big house, sipping black coffee from a mug that said "My milkshakes bring all the boys to the battlefield!" And leaned back, watching Mr. Masin play Skyrim on an Xbox. He personally disliked video games but sometimes he enjoyed watching them. He ruffled his white hair and yawned widely, covering his mouth with the back of his scarred hand.

"So. You think Victorique is going to gather a nice team to find Chione?"

Mr. Masin let out a yell when a blood dragon swooped of no where and attacked his horse which he had recently bought in Riften. He growled and stamped his hoof, "damn dragons always go for the horses!" And with that, slaughter the dragon with his ebony sword before pausing the game. He turned towards Arkantos and grinned wide.

"She will do amazing. She has been on how many quests? Five? Most demigods would be dead for sure after the third. She has had a little too much training. Hell, hand her a cellphone and she will stare at it as if it were a piece of wood. She hasn't known the life of a mortal female. I think they will I Chione," he said and glanced out the window, watching the redhead amble towards the battle arena.

"It seems she is gathering there at the moment to attain some questors. I wonder who will pass her challenges," he grunted, bemused.

Victorique pulled out her sword and started to stab, parry and hack at some dummies while she awaiting the company of people who wanted to do the quest. If four showed up, she didn't need up do a test. If more showed up, then she would start the challenges.

Taylor nervously walked to camp. Her beautiful streaming red highlights in her hair waved barely in the soft breeze. "Please don't tell me there are other Hades people here to kill me...?" She murmured quietly to herself, and kept her blades tightly strapped to her hip. She went t the assigned cabin, and arrived there a few minutes later. "Was it me or was that a long walk?" She huffed, arriving at this obsidian cabin with a skull over it. "I take it this one is mine...." Taylor walked inside, seeing that belongings were here already. "Wonderful..." She set her stuff down, and placed everything where it needed to be. "Where do I go now?" She asked herself, sitting on her bed.

Sky's face was heating up quickly, and her whole body was sweating. She moaned loudly and covered her face with the palm of her hands. "I don't feel good..." She murmured. "Water," Sky gasped. A boy stood above her, the one that had jumped into the water. "Where's the other girl?" She asked. (Sorry for the short post)

Naga

Serenity's Vision was Blurry. Searing pain isolated through her body. From What had just happened, she was surprised she was still alive. Never had she once summoned that much power into a single attack. Mainly because it would have killed another Camper. Serenity wasn't sure if the creature was still up or even down, for that sake. But she didn't care, she could barely move. Serenity groaned lightly. Blood pounded in her head, blocking the sound of the water. Bad sign, she thought. The water wasn't forming wave's like usial. It was completely still. The Serepent moved slightly, as she brought her attention to it.

Serenity tried to stand, her leg's shook. Not from fear, but from exhaustion. Could she really manage to use more of her energy? She wondered. "Jac...ob." She said, the best way she could. Serenity went to take a step forward before stumbling. Serenity fell onto her knee's, her hand's gripping the snad, as Serenity glanced up. the Serpent's eye's were focused on her. Quietly, Serenity had a feeling this was most likly the end.
