Dice Café

While it would be nice to be super tinkerer, I don't think I can lean in that direction well enough without kicking your game balance lol.

I just remembered there's a spell in D&D named Fabricate with a similar motive. It's not quite there, but quite close.

The simplest go to would be a spell with multiple levels which lets him:

  1. Turn things of size (function of knowledge) ft3 into an object which can fit into the palm of one's hand (rit.) - 3 manna
  2. Allows the user to change the shape of most materials freely, excluding magical materials and some other things at DM's discretion (like lead tends to confound magical effects, just as a fantasy tradition). (conc.) - 4 manna
  3. shunt an object into a pocket dimension which can be retrieved OR summons a chest which represents a pocket dimension with capacity (number scaling with knowledge) ft3 - 5 manna

I'd say 1 and 2 can be combined, though yeah, unable to create magical items. We can lessen the manna cost though. 3 would be a different spell with lesser manna cost.

AAAAAAAAAAAA

When you say combine 1 & 2, do you mean grouping both functions in one spell while leaving 3 for a different spell?

Furthermore, when we talk about intricate items, what are we referring to? Most mechanical objects are composed of really simple components. Do you mean big single pieces with lots of detail?

Also, how are magical items even made in this world?
E: context clues suggest an etching process with some special symbols.

Yeah, combine 1 & 2 in one spell, while 3 is different. And yeah 3 is lesser because it's just airless storage, it doesn't really do anything.

Intricate items like pieces to repair a bike, gun, or a lock or key, something that has a working mechanism but isn't magical.

For magical items, I gots no current lore on it, but I was thinking with forge, tools, and enchanting it with materia, which is like the Final Fantasy Materia.

Posted and I’m sorry about Isa. Please let me know if it’s too much and I can lower Isa’s mockingness.

And yeah, Charon is over there like "ah yeah, I'll go with your suspicious plan during a crisis."

E: desperation is no excuse for mass destruction.

OH, IT IS MY TURN

My bad, I was focused on other things. I had to get a new stand for my piano; it was really hard to try to play with it teetering on a couple of old boxes.

I am trying to learn to do piano. I am pretty good at flute already. I find that woodwind is difficult to keep up with. I keep having to re-condition my lungs every time I go on a hiatus from it on account of school and work and other, easier pastimes. I might have an easier time re-conditioning my hands, I use them often. Plus, the sound is incomparable.
