you seem much more in tune with regency era military than me, so just go ahead with Captain Fogerty.

AHHHH. SO MANY HANDSOME MEN. STOP IT
Im trying my best to play her as a judging, sensible type DX I hope thats coming through. The gender-balance is evening up now too! We have a lot of brunettes and a lot of basically sweet women... What we need now is a calculating or worldly blonde (if none turn up I might create on myself )

Winter_Wolf a lot of the portraits have dark hair, something tells me it was a bit fashionable.
Xevia I'm in two minds about your character, it might be a little too "out-there," in that I think she's pushing the boundaries of what an unconventional lady could get away with.
Then again, maybe the travelling and interest in weapons would be a bit more believable if she had been travelling with a male relative? (the wives of soldiers often travelled a lot and did some pretty exciting things, perhaps she married a soldier when she was very young, lived a bit of a wild life and is now widowed?)
Or maybe you could tone her down some other way? What are your thoughts?
yes she's a servant of Lady Marjorie DemarkeSandraDeelightful good question! Go right ahead and start, I'll add your name to the character list soon!
m u s e I'll have a proper look at your character soon, I'm a bit confused about the second one's profession (is she a servant?)
Sorry if I'm being fussy, it's nice to have a baseline of historical believability!
