Actually it crashes my phone too at times. My main issue is how people here goes back through all the pages and LIKE EVERY SINGLE POST.
I won't even see if anyone replied to me or mentioned me because my notifications is clogged up by 200+ likes, and the spam of likes honestly ruins the notification system for me. Every time I click a notification on here, I'm 5 pages behind because that is when it stopped alerting me.
Then it takes 5 minutes for it to load if my phone doesn't crash . . . its honestly just the spam of likes I think

Personally I would just use the Discord chat. If someone really needed to discuss something with you, they can tag you can when check in, Discord will bring you to that mention.Its much easier to filter out most things that don't apply to you, and 300+ messages won't crash your phone on Discord. I only check this chat to try to see the new people or scroll through 3 pages of likes to find the important notifications.
Like the announcements, or tagged GM posts -.-;;; but yeah, I have the same issue and at times on the computer I have to kill a page then fix it (not as much ever since people started using the discord)

But are these the same conditions as with the mechanist? As in it only crashes in this particular thread and absolutely nowhere else? And the error specifically consists of lagging and crashing, not notification problems.

This is the first thread I have ever had issues with. Not as bad as it was before when people didn't even touch the Discord chat.
Occasionally it does. Hopefully turning off notifications for likes will help the issue completely.

I can't believe you guys still have them enabled lol, was one of the first things I looked for after being in an rp with lots of likers. Not that I would complain about getting likes haha, there's something about that virtual number.

It's never been an issue before. Even in this RP with the insane like spam I just click my notifications to be taken to the actual page instad of the drop-down and skim through looking for "quoted" or "mention" and then done. I also have a tab open and work on the computer so most of the day I just go and acknowledge the like spam as I get it, so it never piles up to absurd amounts.

I'll ask this again, just to be sure, you are saying the issue you have with this thread and this thread only are lagging and the page crashing. Again, I want to state that if the problem you had was notification issues, that is not the same problem as the Mechanist.

I refresh the relevant pages anyways so I never rely on the notifications that much. So that's also an added benefit for me.

I'm thinking maybe the issue was the excessive likes, and the overload of notifications because we both had the issue but we also didn't turn off notifications for likes. What they explained was very similar to the issues I had at the start before people started to use the Discord (the use of Discord has shifted some of the weight of replies). While at times the issue came up again whenever people moved all their conversations on here, it wasn't as bad when everyone had their conversations on here 24/7.
The issue was still there, just not as bad as it was before. Since our situations were similar, and our conditions were the same, it could have been the excessive likes that caused the issue. I'll get back to you on this in a few days to see if turning off likes fixed the issue.
