Fandom Boku no Hero: Peace Sign Academia OOC

Uh... not it shouldn't. There are tens of characters in the roleplay, even if I can hold some idea of what they all are like, I wouldn't know it such detail that it would be "obvious". And I'm the main GM, so the others have even less of an obligation to know

It's obvious if you remember what the rules for the UA tournament were and go read Toki's sheet :)

There's gonna be a cross-over sports festival. The games will either be the same as the show or they will be selected via vote
The second works better as i don't think they'd do the same every time since it's broadcasted. Even though I'm all for a Calvary battle~ Also it'd be their first year right? Since otherwise they'd run into canon characters~

Ohhhh The Jumpsuits. Toki needs nudity. But you can open up the jacket like Momo does?

It doesn't really matter. The manga and anime have only shown characters from the third and first year, whereas our characters will be facing what in the show would be the second years. Because our RP takes place 1 year before the events of boku no hero

Wait what part then? Cause it's definitely not obvious...

It is actually REALLY obvious and if I tell you you're gonna slap yourself for not noticing. Assuming, of course, you're looking at the CS lol. It is a requirement you read the CS for it to be obvious since I never mentioned it IC or OOC.

Yet again foiled by my lack of attention, for some reason I thought all years fought each other.

I just read the whole thing again... twice. Nothin.

I have read your CS... and reread it. If it's the whole I tried out for UA, then that's not really a reason?

You can't activate your quirk prior to the start of the round.

Toki said:
Formation Time: A single shield takes 30 seconds to create while the second (assuming it follows immediately after) takes 35 seconds.

Toki has a similar, albeit worse, handicap that Momo had. Her opponent can go gung-ho at the start but Toki's gotta stave them off for thirty seconds before she can start fighting for real.

That's a disadvantage yeah, but hardly anything crippling unless the other person was already brutally powerful with a large reach, meaning you'd probably loose regardles...

I mean that's a challenge but nowhere near an impossible one.

Never said it was some guaranteed lose thing. I even said Toki trained for it, as it's an obvious disadvantage and vulnerability. Still, having over a minute to do what you want and thirty seconds before she can even properly defend herself. That's a huge advantage. Thirty seconds is a LOOOONG time. If it wasn't for her prior training with her mom Toki would just lose outright in the first fight since there'd be nothing she could do. Toki's quirk, even with training, is not good in spur of the moment situations.

I mean Kaoru's works in a similar way as her minimum summoning time is 50 seconds. And 5 seconds are added per % of power. Realistically a tournament is the best for someone with a time restriction since they know something is coming at them and can prepare to dodge as soon as possible, whereas in a real situation they'd be at risk of being ambushed.

That's why they gotta train on things other than their quirks. To compensate for when they can't use their quirk. That's why Toki isn't guaranteed to be knocked out, she's spent years training with her mom. But training can only do so much. At the end of the day she's effectively fighting quirkless against people who can activate their quirk on a whim. That's why I always knew Toki wouldn't get very far in a UA style tournament lol. She gets paired up against someone with a good offensive quirk and that's it, she's out.

So I decided to drop the whole chubby character, and tried to find someone more heavy set, but all I get are fucking bishonen's. It's a lot more irritating then one might think.....
