Akacha would either go for a teacher (like a normal teacher) or some costume that is very big and baggy so she could merge with it. I could see her as literally any part-animal creature because like, if she wants to be a mermaid, she puts on a mermaid costume and fuses with it. Or a fish and fuses with it.

As for Koinu, she would probs dress up as food, as a dog, or as Grave Digger. Or I could take you up on your offer and have her play Stain.

I think the only problem with a festive themed arc is time.

Especially in a rp like this, if we go pass the month, then the rp will just drag until we either just keep moving or scrap the arc >~<

Also if people don't want to join then they'll be forced to wait until it's over

True, but experience in multiple schools and military itself has taught me that no matter how interested a person is, tedium becomes tiring. I've basically based Mao off a maths teacher of mine, whom I still look up to- she doesn't make studies any harder for us as it is, and serves to try to ease us into the subject without making it seem tedious. Basically, what Mao does is understand that 'heroism' is already in the students, and all she wants for them is to succeed.

Academically-wise, she won't spoonfeed them, but she won't make cryptic riddles out of everything either.

Combat training wise, though...maybe you should just wait for her to start putting things up.

Also she was basically made to bust her ass to learn martial combat otherwise she would never get the license and would have to serve out the proper sentence for vigilantism. She also starves on a regular basis when she overspends on stupid things like this year's anime convention and realises that she doesn't have enough to pay the rent. She's pretty used to it by now. For her it's not a factor of 'wanting to' or not. It's just whether she gets hit with her E Rank Luck.

Mao sounds like Glenn. Right down to the starving bit.

But yeah, mostly it's a difference between "doesn't want to be there" and "doesn't want to be in this specific class". Even things you love and want to do can have super boring and tedious aspects that you dislike and don't want to do. But you still want to be there overall. As far as I'm aware Toki's the only one that falls into the former category rather than the later, because she's a special snowflake
