Well, do you want to MAKE the midoryia, or do you just want to HAVE one? Because if it is the second, then the solution may just be to go over some other character sheets and take your pick

If you want to make one specifically, though, I think I can really why you may be struggling. Maybe a potential solution would be to invert the order. Create a backstory first, then look at what kind of personality would have grown from it. And since the character is supposed to heroic anyway, why not jut settle for a weak quirk that happens to be useful in pulling mannequins? Or try using a quirk that complements the things we are currently lacking as a group, say, intel gathering.

Though I shouldn't think of that too much as I might start to value the quirk over anything else. Anyways, i'll try out your idea and see how it goes :3
