MJ and Emmys friendship be like sora and riku honestly. MJ is riku the more mature of the two but still playing jokes and Emmy is like sora who thinks they are more mature but s legitimately actually a child which kind of makes them stronger against pulls towards darker thought.

Yeah true it probably helped that if any bullying towards any of the orphans started MJ trying to be a responsible older sibling would take of the bullying before it got severe especially if went towards Emmy.

The benifet of people thinking you are a child is that you are sheltered from the dark subconsciously by everyone around you so Emmy is vary innocent despite having lived as long as MJ. It also helps that most of her memory is tied to hibernation mode so in her waking mode she is an airhead which translates to toddler energy for people who don’t know her true age.
