Lucifer dropped her hand and took two steps back, his face reflected shock. “I-I need to leave… tonight, I need to somewhere else. I’ve been discovered… “ What else did I sent though that stupid link to her, Lucifer asked himself I am such an idiot. He needed to leave, he needed to escape before his siblings came for him. Now that Antje knew who he was he was sure she might tell someone, and he needed to go before that happened.

“I have to escape.” He breathed, this time Lucifer cradled his own head in his hands, “shit… what am I going to do?” Usually he just kills who ever finds out and moves on as quickly as possible. The only problem is there is no way he would be able to bring himself to kill Antje now. He knew he was getting to close to this girl for his own good, and now he was regretting every minute of their time together, right in this moment. Why was he still standing here?

Antje looked at him, confused.

"What? No..I won't bother you...I'm not running to go tell someone, am I?" she bit her lip and stared at him, not sure what to do. She didn't want him to leave. Who was she going to tell? She had never talked so much in her life. Just because she had her tattoo didn't mean she'd run to the court. She would be persecuted for being a dhampire and being in their air space. How much of him did she know, though?

Looking at Antje Lucifer flew to her and the cornered her against a wall. His arms either side of her on the wall, trapping her under him, “Prove to me you won’t tell, if you cannot I will have to leave. “

He needed solid proof, this girls word was not enough to keep him here if any sign of his siblings were coming for him. He tried to think of some way to make her prove that she was telling him the truth. Regardless she stared her down, waiting for her answer.

Antje looked back up at him, trying not to be afraid but it was hard not to.

"I wouldn't even know where to go to report you even if I wanted to.." her voice shook, and she tried to be quiet, but her words didn't feel as soft as they came out.

"I'd be killed just as quickly as you would. And I know my mother and father would just see me as another roaring disappointment anyways. Especially if I were destroyed..." she blinked back angry tears.

"I have my own family to worry about." she wasn't sure if he'd been around when she was born and there were so many courtiers who wanted her dead. Maybe he'd voted. It was funny that they'd voted only for it to be vetoed by the Magics. Magics was a dumb name for them; she called them Die Zauberers, what her parents called them.

Would he kill her for that? She'd be mad if he did, but she couldn't exactly opt out. Guess we aren't friends anymore. She hadn't meant to say that in his head but him being so close to her she could probably hear her stomach failing at digesting her sandwich.

Lucifer let out a long sigh and leaned in closer to Antje, was she an outcase? Closing his eyes and thought for a bit and then reopened them to focus on Antje’s eyes, which were closer to his now. “Antje… I have never been closer to another since Rick. Which means I can’t bring myself to kill you. What do you want from me?” He asked her seriously. He voice sunk into a whisper with the next words he spoke, “Do you want me to stay with you? Even though now you know who I am, how dangerous I am, how dangerous the people who hunt me are?”

He’s not stupid, he know Antje wanted something from him. Be it his company or friendship. She would not have reached out to him through mind if she did not. That was not something Vampires did lightly, talk through telekinesis. "What do you want from me?" He repeated the question again in the whisper, opening up the link between their minds again.

Antje was confused by his question. What did she want from him? What did he even have that she WOULD want? She didn't think she wanted anything. The idea of him fleeing because she messed up would make her responsible for ruining his life. He was hiding just like her. She couldn't do that to him, regardless of reputation. She didn't want him to leave. She felt horribly selfish for thinking it, but she didn't want to be alone again. Even if it was just a mutual acquaintance thing for them, she didn't want him to hate her. She was almost happy to see the real person come out.

Lucifer listen to all of her feeling slowly transfer between them. First confusion, then guilt, understanding, wanting him to stay and lastly selfishness. He smirked and laughed quietly and leaned even closer to Antje, pulling her into a hug. “The light will out soon, I need to go home… I kind of want to bring you back home. I don’t want to piss off your master or care taker or whatever. I won’t leave… I am trusting you… Antje.”

Antje was surprised by his hug, she least expected that. He was a good hugger. She broke the hug after a long moment, conscious of time.

"I call her Tante... It's German for Auntie... I don't have a master. But I'm not free.." she looked down. He'd barely make it back to his place if he walked her back. Dawn was safe for her to walk around.

"Are you sure you want to do that? You would be really cutting it close...And I mean, you could walk me home. She wouldn't mind seeing me with a friend..." Antje smiled. She was tired. She actually didn't wanna walk all the way home. She could look at a cardboard box and think it looked comfortable.

“No, I need to go now and it WOULD be cutting it close if I walk you home. I am going home, you can come or go… as much as I would like to stay and talk more.” Luke said turning around and started walking toured his home. “I have food there is you want. Food, food.” He said. Empathizing food.

Antje raised an eyebrow, thinking. She still wanted to talk to him, but she wasn't sure if he wanted to be stuck with her. "Haven't I annoyed you enough for tonight?" she asked quietly. She still followed him, though. Food sounded good, she figured. She wasn't too worried if she stayed. She'd text Tante, say..something. It wasn't like people were after her. She didn't exist.

“No… you haven’t annoyed me. Don’t worry about little things. If you are coming, just be quite and walk. I need to get inside quickly.” Luke walked quickly without talking much because he needed to get inside, dawn is soon. When they got into the abandon factory Luke shut the door tight behind Antje and let out a long sigh. All the windows were blocked and the room was dark, “You can sit down, ill get something you to drink.” He said, disappearing into the building.

Antje could see well enough, but she still managed to bang her knee on a coffee table.

"Sonofabitchbastard." she hissed, glaring at the little table. She found a black simple chair and she nimbly sat, looking around. She couldn't imagine living without windows. It wasn't exactly his choice, but still. She looked around the large room. He'd turned it into a liveable space, the room she was in could easily pass for a sitting room if you didn't know it were an abandoned place. It was quiet there. Usually silence made her anxious, but she felt pretty peaceful. The decor was simple but still seemed pretty elegant compared to some things in her house. When you don't have to pay for utilities or groceries or desire the latest technology, she figured making a place nice was something to do.

She crossed her legs in her chair, unintentionally lady-like. She only ever did that around her parents, or at home, another weird wall she put up.

Sighing he opened up the fridge in the other room, he only bought meat usually once a week and as long as he never left the fridge open too long the meat stays bloody enough. Taking out the bloodiest piece he could find, he took off the wrapping and sighed again. He really hoped she did not find this nasty. This is really the only way he could get a bit of blood so he could keep his hunting to a minimal. Hunting humans was far easier sport then animals, less dangerous too.

Coming back, Lucifer placed in front of Antje the bloody steak and sat down in a chair, not really smiling like he usually did. Crossing his arms he let out another long sigh, “help yourself, that’s probably the best cut I had in the fridge, I was not sure how hungry you were.”

Antje quietly ripped off the cut into pieces and popped it into her mouth. It probably couldn't hurt her.

She felt awkward, but more than that she felt bad for causing such an episode.

She didn't know what to say.

"Why did you leave before?" she finally asked. She couldn't be sure if he'd actually be up to talking about that. She knew he was anxious and angry about being found. Maybe talking would help, though. Maybe it would relieve some of his burden. She finished the meat and licked her fingers, and she looked at him, studying his face. She still broke eye contact a little, just because she wasn't sure what he was thinking.

Lucifer stared at her, watching her remain unconfertable under his gaze. Right now he felt like a preditor and Antje was his pray. She was locked in a room with him untill sunset, she will proububly not be able to escape. "Antje." He said, his voice had a bit of warning in it, his eyes narrowed at her. "If you start asking question and snooping into my secreats, you will no longer have the rights to hold your own." He said simply. That was that, there was no way he was going to run out and tell her his entire life story just because she found his name. Just because he can't bring himself to kill her.

"I don't owe you anything, nor anyone else. The fact you could even reach out to my mind and get my name and other things I might not even know you got scares the mess out of me.
I don't even know what you are." He said in a slightly frustraight tone. "Because you sure as hell can't tell me you are a Vampire or a Changeling."

Antje recoiled a little, his tone had some venom. She hadn't lied to him, though. She readjusted in the chair into a sitting Indian position with one knee up that she rested her cheek on.

"Weren't you ever curious as to why the Anselm family never had an heir?" she began. Maybe that was enough to change his mind about killing her. Her last name was pronounced in German, her family's beginning place.

Lucifer sighed again when she physicaly flinched, maybe he should be a little gentler with her. Right now he was not being human Luke, no he was being full blooded Vampire Lucifer Lancaster. "Let me be blunt Antje, I rarely concerned myself in the affairs of my family, vampires and magic's. I never voted when the time came too, I never signed papers or stuck my noes into such afairs." He said, leaning back more on the chair.

Antje snorted at his bluntness, but then she continued.

"I was born with a heartbeat." she shrugged. "It's completely impossible for an elite vampire to mate with another elite vampire and produce a human. The closest term to what I am is a dhampire." She looked over at him and she felt like she was looking at a stranger. And that made her sad. She pulled her battered phone out, remembering Tante. Tante didn't like it, but there wasn't much she could do about it.

"Are you still thinking about killing me?" she asked softly. She really wasn't sure why he hadn't.

“I never once thought about killing you.” He said in a bored tone. Dhampire... that explained a lot. She was flat out a Unicorn in Vampire society, rare and never seen or heard of. The Magic's had them all killed because their powers are weaker then normal Vampires in a lot of respects, but there was something else about Dhampires, they were identified blood source and had powers that could rival that of the Magic's themselves. How is she not dead? Possible she has been in hiding, her parents... no wait.

“No, I remember you... 18 years ago, around this time of the year. You were born and every Vampire in the place went crazy with uproar. There was a hug vote, most voted against your life in fear of being punished by the Magic for not. My family voted no to your death because you are a rare case of wounder. Your family paid a high price that I can not even fathom to keep you alive. I knew you were put into hiding but I did not care enough to know any more. I would bring no doubt that the Magic would try to kill you later, or the Vampires would try to attack you for your blood. You Missy will be very popular the older you get. I also see now, Miss Antje,” He said, using the little nickname he started for her and smiling at her, his large smile, “You have much more to fear from me then I do of you.”

After making the obvious statement Lucifer laughed out loud and got up and walked over to the couch and sat down on it and relaxed, “You probably just risked a lot more then I realize telling me this out of a measly trust. As promised, why did I left. I am not sure if you mean why I left the courts and family or why I left something other then that. But here it goes,” He took a deep breath, “I left because I was bored. Nothing there for me. Besides my family was nuts.” Partial truth, but he wondered if she was ready to hear the kind of things that went on in Vampire courts. His family was so corrupt.

Antje nodded. The Lancasters were batshit crazy, manipulative and probably the darker of all the families.

"So I've heard. They made it their goddamn business to try and dishonor my parents," Antje snorted.

"But I kind of beat them to the punch just being born." she wasn't sure why he didn't like his family for being sneaky and corrupt when he brought out the fact that she had more to fear from him than a lot of people. But what did he mean by that? He just said he wasn't going to kill her.

She could easily sense a role of predator/prey when he talked to her...He clearly wanted something. Maybe she shouldn't have trusted him. He didn't seem interested in their friendship before, and it was washed up.

"It's funny. You seemed so interested in my life not too long ago, and now that you know, it's boring you." she smiled.

“That’s not it…I think you being born means more for the Vampires then we realize.” Lucifer said quietly, “And you misunderstand me, you seem to have the idea that I am ready to kill you and going to take you down here and now, it is quite the opposite.” He did not explain further on how opposite it was because she might feel like what he wanted to do was or self satisfaction, and it was. Protecting a Dhampire just to piss off Magic and his father, just because he hated them all so much. There was sure going to be attempts on her life, regardless if he was there or not to attract more trouble.

“You are the second person that ever had the pleaser of reaching the list of people I
Can’t Kill. Flat out, I won’t and can’t do it. Well in less you attempted on my life first. You’re the second person in my life not make me feel completely lonely and nuts in this deadly world.” He sighed and hunched over, placing his face in his hands, “You misunderstand me.” He said trying to make himself relax some, he was probably scaring her again, sending her wrong vibes again. “I don’t want to show so much intrest in your life now you will be afraid I will take advantage of you or something along those lines. When I say take advantage I mean… take your blood or back home. Antje, You became friends with both Luke the Human and Lucifer the Vampire. You have to understand they are two different sides of me, both meant to protect my life first and be friends later.”

He took a deep breath and opened a small sliver of the link between them and tried to convey his feelings to her. His feelings of wanting to protect her, and only that part of it. The extreme hated for him family, the necessity for Luke and Lucifer. Lastly he tried to convey his list of people he can’t bring himself to kill or harm in anyway, Rick and Antje. Hoping that cleared a few things, he broke the link and for once he did not look at Antje but at his feet. He was suddenly feeling really shy, which was really unlike him.

Antje looked at him, trying to understand. It was weird to see him so shy, but she felt humbled to be on his 'Can't kill' list. Especially when she felt like she was on everyone's kill list. She understood the need to filter personality around people. She was Antje the sarcastic bipolar human and she was Antje the artistic sarcastic bipolar dhampire.

"So what happens now?" she'd idly been calling him Luke-ifer in her head, but she'd wait until he were in a better mood to tell him.

“We sleep, I do anyway. I need too. If you are still thirsty there is more meat in the other room in that not working fridge. The bed room is actually in an office over there, you can have my bed. I’ll sleep here on the couch.” He said, move himself to lay down on his back across the couch. He put his arm across his eyes so he could not see Antje. He felt like he was telling Antje more truth then to himself. Was protecting her all self satisfaction? He should be careful where he put his energy. Lucifer wondered if she trusted what he even said, he really hope she did. He in no way wanted to bring harm to her, she was like him in more ways than one.

Antje scowled and got up to gently moved his arm from his eyes.

"YeahUh, no. You sleep in your bed, I'll sleep on the couch. I'll make your room smell weird." She crossed her arms over her chest. She didn't want his bed, it was his bed for a reason, and it was his home. And he looked more tired than her and he looked like he wanted his own bed.

He was a little surpised when she lifted his arms from his face. His eyes gleamed at her from the darkness of the room. Sitting up a bit he reached out and touched Antje’s forehead and the slide his fingers there slowly. “mhmm, you go head and take it, you are my guest Miss Antje. Besides, you smell so good, you making my room smell like that would be far from wired haha.” Laying back down he sighed. “in less you want me to get in bed with you?” he flashed her a toothy grin after making the joke.
